  • According to the Digi Capital forecast, the global augmented reality market is expected to grow rapidly by 2020 to reach 150 billion dollars. In particular, high value added effects are expected in education. As ICT advances, digital textbooks are also leading innovative education by adding interactive functions. Advanced countries, including the U.S., are already using digital textbooks that use augmented reality technology in their classes. In line with this technological outlook, the ministry proposed a design plan that applies augmented reality technology to middle school science 1 digital textbooks. A study on middle school science 1 digital textbooks showed that each unit provided short videos. In addition, an investigation into the augmented reality class case showed that it was difficult to establish experimental equipment, lack of equipment (devices), and 3D design contents that did not continue despite the excellence of learning effects. Based on this demand, we designed an augmented reality scenario and system configuration to be applied to the instrument-specific experiments of middle school science 1 digital textbooks to explore and explore the contents of augmented reality by students. This research will replace the dangerous experiments and time consuming experiments for teachers and students by applying augmented reality to science subjects that are essential for the development of digital textbooks.

  • A theme park is a complex space, in which held is a performance & exhibition event created to make visitors feel fun and a deep impression through a certain theme. Recently, local governments are increasingly planning for theme parks with the aim of local economy revitalization. Accordingly, this paper set up a development model for a Korean culture theme park after deducting success factors for creating a successful theme park through the case of Korean culture theme park. To be concrete, this paper deducted the success factors through literature research and case research as follows: Setting of themes having identity and consistency; programs that can give fun and a deep impression; convenient support facilities reflecting customers' needs; differentiated marketing for progress in customer attraction power; location linked with cultural resources around a theme park and a space for communicating a message; privately-initiated project promotion and the main body of operation; target setting consequent on market segmentation, and demand forecast, etc. A theme park cannot be successfully operated to contribute to local economy revitalization until such success factors should be closely linked and harmonized with each other. In addition, in order for a theme park to make a continued growth, it's required that problems occurring at the operational stage should be endlessly improved, and contents strengthening should be continuously done in line with circumstances of the times and viewers' eye level.

  • This research focuses on the method of inventory management to find out the best way in various SCM. There are several comparable methods of inventory management like Min-Max, regular interval, fixed target inventory that have different lead-time and demand for each product. Also, the inventory performances between the case of three-stages and two-stages in SCM are analyzed. 8 scenarios for the simulation are suggested considering order ways and stages. Input data for the simulation is from the result of the previous studies and actual data in the market. The performance measurements are selected as sales revenue, total number of sales, total delivery cost, total inventory shortages, the number of inventory shortage occurrence, the loss for inventory shortages, average inventory, handling cost, net profit. According to the results of the simulation, fixed target inventory management is better than existing inventory management method by net profit and inventory and so on. Also, it was confirmed that the increase in profit is obtained when SCM stages is reduced from three-stages to two-stages in existing SCM. The result of the research provides significant meaning that newly introduced target inventory management system shows good performance and SCM performance can be improved by reducing the stages.

  • During the Joseon period, the East Sea would be called 'Gyeonghae' due to a large number of whales. In the Republic of Korea, whaling was locally permitted in 1946. However, the number drastically dropped because the hunting of the marine mammal had already been carried out in Russia, the U.S. and Japan since 1800s. Before a moratorium on commercial whaling was introduced by the International Whaling Commission(IWC) in 1986, whale populations in the East Sea had plunged. Furthermore, Korean gray whales and fin whales weren't found anymore in that area. With the suspension, whale hunting was banned in Korea as well. Even so, accidentally caught whales have been allowed to be distributed on the market with respect for local food culture. With the establishment of Whale Museum and hosting of the 57th Annual Meeting of the International Whaling Commission(IWC) at Jangsaengpo in 2005, whale tourism was facilitated in earnest. This whale tourism has been operated by Nam-gu Office and Nam-gu City Management Corporation in Ulsan. However, the popularity of whale tourism has increased a demand for whale meat. At the same time, there has been concern over decrease in whale populations because of illegal whaling. In addition, a conflict between the use and protection of whales has caused confusion in tourism identity. Actually, there is a serious doubt on the sustainability of whale tourism due to the decade-long deficit and excessive investments. This study attempts to define a concept of whale tourism and propose a future direction for the sustainable growth and development of Korea's whale tourism industry after developing such comprehensive assessment indicators as a basic research for the introduction of sustainable whale tourism. To achieve the aim of this study, AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) was chosen as a main research tool and the factors were ranked by a comprehensive analysis of principal factors and detail factors. The current study showed the following results. First, ecological environment(0.430) was indicated the most important factor of whale tourism assessment indicators. Moreover, Population(0.1302), Action for Cetacean protection(0.1031), Governance(0.0898) were critical factors. On the other hand, Accommodations(0.0085), Whale meat(0.0088) were unimportant factors than others.

  • It may be summarized to four kinds of innovation through global convergence, and the convergence of adjacent areas according to mega-trends in medical services market and actively introduced ICT technologies, public and private partnership. Health care is no longer a local industry, it is becoming Global Convergence. In the case of developed countries, it is increased to income levels, the development of new medical technologies, while the increase in specialized medical services and need of aging population. It increases migration of foreign medical personnel, geographical proximity and choice of the best medical technology, regardless of the cost. The increasing demand for high quality yet relatively low foreign prices of medical services. Hospitals are especially spread of international certification such as the US JCI standards. Hospital exports are being evaluated and opened the way for the export industrialization as ICT convergence hospital that can be exported to the fusion-related technologies more efficiently. Current local hospital has already reached saturation, globalization of Korean hospital is being the time necessary. Thus, unlike a strategy for each country, as well as technology transfer it is also possible, such as total exports provided the building, medical equipment procurement, local medical personnel (doctors and nurses) selection and training, PR and marketing. In the current medical law and need to be revised prospectively maintained for publicity and abroad, there is a need for further legal dragons and actively support a more flexible policy on the application of national law overseas medical services.

  • The construction craft workers have been getting older and have become drained, in spite of the vital factor that it directly affects productivity and quality as a final producer. This situation in the construction industry is ultimately due to evasion of performances by young craft workers. Therefore, the aim of this study is to propose the certification and level system of construction craft workers and to extract young craft workers from the market for construction craft workers so as to supply and demand high quality of craft workers. First of all, the present status and problems of the domestic construction craft workers are considered in this study. Furthermore, the appropriate way to establish its certification and level system is suggested from the Interview with experts, as well as references of German and Australian case. The revitalization of certification and level system provided in this study is expected to ensure that the craft workers are not simple laborers, but are required the professional knowledge and skill. Besides, it will lead to strengthen specificity and to break from aging, by taking young and qualified craft workers into the construction industry. Also, it will promote an employment stability by connecting the social security system.

  • This paper deal with government logistics policy in related low carbon in China. The government policy of promoting low-carbon way is more dependent on the top-down enforcement rather than voluntary market principles. It will succeeded in transforming the environment-friendly image, to focus on creating a mindset the company can go on voluntary carbon-reduction. The three factors of low-carbon economy and the new energy and industrial development policy is technology and funding, and that most of the government's policy has a crucial role. Due to the nature of the Chinese economy, government policies impact on the development of the industry is very important, and even for China's industrial restructuring of the logistics industry in the areas of government policy support for green economic growth, its role is expected to be very large. In Future, Chinese government will promote low carbon policies through the optimization of the logistics network to reduce energy waste, pursue the low carbon-reduction of logistics machinery and equipment, and develop an mode to appropriate demand for green low-carbon economic growth.

  • This study investigates whether and how a firm's cost of equity is influenced by the extent of a firms's name change. Even though corporate name change doesn't give any benefit to investors, it can be a signaling about firm's future valuation. And also, if that signaling has high credibility, it can be decrease information cost and the firm's cost of equity. on the contrary to this, if corporate name change is kind of break with the past and corporate image laundering, it is bad signaling to investors. So it can be increase information risk and the firm's cost of equity. Using yearly cross-sectional regressions of the cost of equity on our proxies for corporate name change, size, beta, market-to-book ratio and other innate risk factor over the 2005-2010, we find that the cost of capital is positively associated with corporate name change after controlling for all other factors. This result implies that corporate name change increase information risk of the business, and thus increase information asymmetries between managers and outside investors with respect to a firm's true future value. This increases information risk, and creates an adverse selection problem, on the part of outside investors. Rational investors therefore demand a premium for bearing this corporate name change-related information risk, which in turn leads us to observe a positive relation between the intensity of corporate name change and the cost of equity.

  • Finespotted flounder, used for a representative raw fish in spring, is considered comparatively difficult to breed, which causes small Olive flounder and Stone flounder from China, similar kinds of flounders, to appear on the market for sale under the name of 'Finespotted flounder.' The reason lies under the considerations that small Olive flounder and Stone flounder from China are relatively lower priced and in higher supply and demand, being difficult to distinguish from Finespotted flounder when sliced with bones. Thus, the purpose of our thesis is to distinguish Finespotted flounder from similar kinds of fish analyzing the lipid content in slices of raw fish and SDS-PAGE(sodiumdodecylsullipide-polyacrylamide gel eletrophoresis). Upon comparing the main components between sliced Finespotted flounder and similar kinds of fish, such as small Olive flounder and Stone flounder from China, we found that there are no noticeable differences among them in moisture content, and little, if any noticeable differences, in crude protein and ash content(P>0.05). Based on these analyses, we have conclude that commercial raw fish restaurants sell small Olive flounder and Stone flounder under the name of Finespotted flounder. However, a variety of factors have an effect on our analysis, such as the individual characteristics of fish and a seasonal variation. The aim of our analysis is to enhance more accurate distinction criteria, although some fish kinds can be discerned with our present technique of examining lipid content and SDS-PAGE. Through more sophisticated analyses developed by consistent research, we look forward to attaining more accurate techniques for discerning between Finespotted flounder and different kinds of similar fish.

  • Ceramides, a constituent of stratum corneum lipids, play a crucial role in the formation and maintenance of the epidermal permeability barrier. As in many other skin disorders, atopic dermatitis and psoriasis show decrease and transformation of the ceramides. The application of ceramide has been demonstrated to be efficient in the repair of these skin disorders. Nevertheless, natural ceramides are still too expensive and small in quantity to be used as a cosmetic ingredient. Although a lot of pseudo-ceramides have been developed and on the market until now, those pseudo-ceramides did not fully meet the consumer's needs, therefore, there is still a demand for a novel pseudo-ceramides. We synthesized a novel pseudo-ceramide BPC-16 from 2-(2-amino-ethylamino)-ethanol(AEEA), which was characterized by structures having both amide bonds and hydroxyl groups as hydrophilic units, as well as two long alkyl chains. We formulated emulsion with BPC-16, cholesterol, stearic acid, and other components to make an emulsion. These emulsion showed a typical optical anisotropy on cross-polarized microscopy. This 'Maltese cross' appearance is a characteristic figure observed in concentric lamellar emulsion under cross-polarized microscopy. In cytotoxicity assay using MTT in monolayer and three dimension(3D) cell culture, a BPC-16 showed only negligible cytotoxicity up to the effective concentration for barrier repair and moisturization(less than 10 mM). In the measurement of TEWL, this BPC-16 showed significant recovery of water-retaining properties when it was topically applied to either SDS-induced dry skin or normal skin compared to that of base cream. This novel pseudo-ceramide BPC-16 showed as effective in skin barrier repair and moisturization as natural ceramides.
