연안침식방지사업의 해양물리분야 평가실태 및 개선방안 (Assessment and Improvement of Ocean Physics for Coastal Erosion Projects)

  • This study analysed the documents of Sea Area Utilization Consultation of JongChun and ApHae located in West Coast of Korea and NaJeong located in East Coast of Korea in order to find out problems of site surveys and numerical simulations for coastal erosion projects of ocean physics, and suggested the improvement way to go. Current especially like wave-induced current is the one of the important external forces to handle coastal erosion but underestimated in the west coast. In case of east coast the various tests including wave-induced current were conducted but less efficient to find out the reasons of coastal erosion. The stiffness structure to protect coastal line like beach made the secondary erosion by using them without sufficient analysis for the erosion. In order to consult a Sea Area Utilization Consultation those are needed to review the scenarios for external forces such as wave and tidal currents, the site surveys for external forces, the net sediment analysis for years, the long periods of monitoring, and the guide line and revision of the rule for coastal erosion.

해양구조물 RE36강의 용접부 부식거동 및 SSRT법에 의한 기계적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Corrosion Rehavior and Mechanical Property by SSRTTest of Welding Part of RE36 Steel for Marine Structure)

  • A study on the corrosion behavior of RE36 steel for marine structure was investigated with parameters such as micro-Vickers hardness, corrosion potential and corrosion current density measurement of weld metal(WM), base metal (BM) and heat affected zone(HAZ), Al anode generating current and Al anode weight loss quantity in case of cathodic protection. And we carried out slow strain rate test(SSRT) in order to research mechanical properties such as stress at maximum load, percent strain, time to fracture and strain to failure ratio etc and to find out limiting cathodic polarization potential for hydrogen embrittlement with applied cathodic polarization potential. Hardness of HAZ part was the highest among those three parts and also galvanic corrosion susceptibility was the highest in HAZ part among those three parts due to the lowest corrosion potential than other parts. However corrosion current density was the highest in WM part among those three parts. And the optimum cathodic polarization potential showing the best mechanical properties obtained by SSRT method with applied constant cathodic potential was from - 770mV to - 875mV(SCE). However it is suggested that limiting cathodic polarization potential indicating hydrogen embrittlement on the mechanical properties was under - 900mV(SCE).

Wind Tunnel Test를 통한 Wind Moment의 적용 사례 (Application of Wind Heeling Moment with Wind Tunnel Test)

  • When floating platform or drilling unit is located at operating station during its design life, it has to have the sufficient stability considering external environment. To evaluate whether offshore structure is complied with the required design criteria for intact stability, the factors which decrease the righting moment have to be considered. Wind heeling moment is one of main factors because the direction is opposite to the righting moment. According to 2009 MODU CODE (Code for the construction and equipment of Mobile Offshore Drilling Units, 2009), wind heeling moment derived from wind tunnel test on scale model of offshore structure enables to apply as alternative given formula and method in 2009 MODU CODE. However, there is no the specific method for applying data derived from wind tunnel test. Based on the following reasons, this paper presents that the calculation method of wind heeling moment utilizing non-dimensional coefficient relative to wind loads (wind forces and moments) and the comparison with each method applying an example.

  • Maritime tourism destinations need to improve image as well as enhance competitiveness through development of new marine tourism attraction due to the decrease of the number of passengers. The maritime city is trying to combine dynamic marine leisure activities as an alternative. For this purpose, it is possible to realize clear marine tourism activation policy and improve the identity of local community through the accurate analysis of the interest of the stakeholder groups of local residents in Songjeong beach in Busan. In this study, we first analyzed the language network based on the expression language related to the conflict between the stakeholders of Songjeong beach. Second, we analyzed the individual characteristics of the structure of conflict frames of stakeholders and suggested solutions by comparing the differences and similarities between perception frames of conflict parties. Third, we distinguish and compare differences of perception among the conflict parties through the detailed frame type. Based on the relationship structure between the detailed frame types of the conflict parties, we suggested an alternative for conflict resolution by restructuring the conflicts and negative perceptions among the stakeholders.

Rotor dynamic analysis of a tidal turbine considering fluid-structure interaction under shear flow and waves

  • A rotor dynamic analysis is mandatory for stability and design optimization of submerged propellers and turbines. An accurate simulation requires a proper consideration of fluid-induced reaction forces. This paper presents a bi-directional coupling of a bond graph method solver and an unsteady vortex lattice method solver where the former is used to model the rotor dynamics of the power train and the latter is used to predict transient hydrodynamic forces. Due to solver coupling, determination of hydrodynamic coefficients is obsolete and added mass effects are considered automatically. Additionally, power grid and structural faults like grid fluctuations, eccentricity or failure could be investigated using the same model. In this research work a fast, time resolved dynamic simulation of the complete power train is conducted. As an example, the rotor dynamics of a tidal stream turbine is investigated under two inflow conditions: I - shear flow, II - shear flow + water waves.

선박충돌사고 위험성 제어방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Risk Control Measures of Ship's Collision)

  • 오늘날 해운산업분야에서 해상의 인명 ㆍ재산, 해양환경보호에 가장 큰 관심을 기울이고 있다. 국제해사기구 (IMO)에서는 해상에서 선박운항으로 인하여 발생하는 충돌, 좌초, 침몰 등 해양사고에 대한 위험성을 정량적으로 평가하여, 그에 대한 제어방안을 마련하고 합리적인 안전규정을 제ㆍ개정하기 위한 절차적 수단으로 FSA(Formal Safety Assessment)를 도입하여 과학적이고 체계적인 대응방안을 마련하고자 노력하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 FSA평가시스템을 이용하여 사고발생빈도와 사고로 인한 인적, 물적, 환경오염 피해가 막대한 선박충돌사고의 발생위험성을 분석하였다. 또한 선박충돌사고 발생에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 위해요소(Hazard)인 인적요소(Human Factor)에 대해서 전문가집단의 의견을 수렴하여 FSM법을 이용하여 각 위해요소를 계층화하고, 요소 상호간의 관련성을 분석하여 선박충돌사고를 예방하기 위한 적절한 제어방안을 제시하였다.

호이스트 및 크레인에 적용 가능한 안전후크와 X-jog 제품 설계 및 제작 (Product Design and Manufacture on Safety Hook and X-jog for application in Hoist and Crane)

  • 본 연구에서는 크레인 작업시 발생하는 재해발생 사례를 토대로 호이스트의 중량물 이탈 방지에 대한 연구를 수행하였으며, 안전고리의 결합으로 구성된 종래의 체결방식을 벗어나 구조물의 무게에 의한 자동 체결 및 결합 방식의 후크 및 특수목적을 가진 X-jog를 설계 및 제작하여 현장에 적용하고자 하였다. 주요 기구부의 3차원 상세설계와 구조해석을 통해 Safety Hook와 X-jog의 미소변형과 허용응력 이하의 구조안정성을 확인하였으며, 안전율은 일반적인 구조설계시 고려되는 안전율 1.2를 상회하는 평균 1.5를 나타냄을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 연구에서의 Safety Hook와 X-jog는 구조물이 호이스트와 크레인에 부착되어 운용되어질시 구조적 안정성은 충분할 것으로 판단된다.

다층상구조물의 강인 진동제어에 관한 연구 (A Study of Robust Vibration Control for a Multi-Layer Structure)

  • 본 연구에서는 실용설계의 새로운 도구로써 제어계의 강인성, 성능, 안정성 등의 설계지침을 정량화하기 쉽고 해가 효율적으로 구해져 주목받는 선형행렬부등식을 이용하여 강인한 LMI 제어기를 설계한다. 우선 다층상 구조물의 진동제어를 위해 수학적 모델링을 행하고 적분형 서보계를 적용한 LMI 제어 기법으로 상태 피드백 제어칙을 설계한다. 다음으로 설계한 제어칙으로 시스템 불확실성의 변동에 대해 시간영역의 설계사양을 고려한 경우와 고려하지 않은 경우에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 행하고 실제 적용 가능성을 검토한다.

유체-구조 연동운동 3차원 측정시스템의 성능 검증 (Performance Tests on the 3D-Flow-Structure-Interactions-Measurement System(FSIMS))

  • Performance tests on the 3-Dimensional Flow-Structure-Interactions-Measurement System(FSIMS) have been carried out. Experimental data obtained by the FSIMS on a floating cylinder have been used to generate a set of artificial images. Comparisons between the data obtained by the use of the artificial images and those original experimental data have been made. Another set of artificial images have also been generated based on theoretically modulated sinusoidal motions, and comparisons between the data obtained by the use of these artificial images and the theoretical ones have been carried out. It has been verified that the FSIMS has a measurement uncertainty of 0.04-0.06mm/frame for velocity vectors and 0.002-0.01mm for the cylinder's positions.

Novel Brazing법에 의한 Al의 공정접합에 관한 연구 (A Study of Eutectic Bonding for Aluminium using Novel Brazing Process)

  • To investigate the optimum brazing condition, variation of bonded structure and mechanical properties of novel brazed pure Al with bonding condition (brazing temperature, time and Si/flux ratio) was studied. A basic study of the bonding mechanism was also examined. The optimum brazing condition was obtained at $590^{\circ}$ for 2 minutes and the bonded structure showed that it is composed of almost entirely eutectic Al-Si with near eutectic composition. At higher brazing temperature $630^{\circ}$, hypoeutectic Al-Si structure was observed in the bonded area and resulted in erosion of base metal. The thickness of eutectic layer formed in optimum brazing temperature increased linearly with the square root of time, showing a general diffusion controlled process. The ultimate tensile strength of bonded joint brazed at an optimum brazing condition was about 60% of base metal and its fracture surface showed a brittle mode.
