  • 이동 무선 환경에서 핸드오버 특히, 이종 망이 중첩된 네트워크 환경에서의 핸드오버는 서로 다른 서비스 특성과 서비스영역의 영향을 받는다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 관리 단위가 분리된 여러 지역에 걸친 다양한 벤더의 무선랜 접속장비와 그 운영 망을 모니터링, 제어할 수 있는 모바일 싱크 무선랜 네트워크 통합 관리제어 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 멀티벤더와 무선랜 특화 관리 항목들에 대해 모니터링, 제어가 가능한 지역센터서버 연동 관리구조로 설계되었다. 본 논문에서 제시한 방법은 기존의 시스템보다 MAP 도메인 크기가 5일 때 무선단말의 이동속도가 약 10%의 성능 향상을 보였다. 또한, 데이터 설계 및 메시징 방식 계층적 관리구조를 통해 분산된 망 위에 존재하는 이기종 무선랜 장비에 대해 관리 접근 방법이 일관적이고 안정된 망 관리 시스템이 되도록 설계하였다.

국내 소재 컨버터의 소재 기획 프로세스에 대한 연구 (The Study concerning the Process of Textile Planning for Domestic Textile Converter)

  • The purpose of this paper was to figure out the status quo of development of textiles in fashion industry by analyzing through in-depth interview with domestic women's wear converters on the process of textile planning. Professionals in top3 domestic women's wear converters were selected and interviewed in-depth on actual work process of textile development. The result of the research is as follows. First, the interviewed converters were having transactions with entire domestic target market of women's clothing and also exporting to China. Second, production of textile was mostly domestic, with some from China. Third, the number of textile development was 20 - 50 items per season accordingly to size of converter, and the number was larger if taking into account the sourcing development, the special finished fabric development and the print design development. Fourth, for methods to gather information, converters got ideas through overseas exhibitions, overseas color swatch books, fashion-related web sites and market research. Fifth, when setting up direction of textiles, it was investigated that they had motif from in-trend material or on previous season's best-selling material. Sixth, textile planning map did not start from early in season but prefers in-progress board map. Seventh, ways for many method types for textile planning were found depending on sales type of converter and textile production price.

집합주거단지 거주자의 인지도에 따른 이미지 분석 (The Analysis of Image by Cognitive Map of residents in apartment housing)

  • Each of us has personal and unique "Mental Images" of environment that are the results of a two-way process between an observer and his environment. By understanding of people's image on their physical settings through cognitive maps, congruent with their design environment. In this context, this study is to fine out the characteristics of the resident's image in apartment housing that are modern housing. This paper is theoretically based on Appleyard's cognitive maps types, Lynch's the components of image, Harrison and Howard's image enhancing factors and Applyard's image enhancing factors of buildings. For the purpose of this study, two-instruments were used. One was sketch mapping, that told of visual aspects of cognitive map. Another was verbal questionnaire, which was composed of nonvisual aspects of image components and image enhancing factors. For the methods of research analysis, Percentage, Frequency, and Chi-square test were used. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, as for the types of cognitive maps, the rate of sequential maps and spatial maps are nearly same. Secondly, as for the components of images, landmarks and districts are significant elements in apartment housing, and edges, nodes and paths are rare element. Thirdly, with regard to image enhancing factors, landscaping is shown to be most effective at landmarks and districts. And finally, in examing the differences of images between various social groups, significant variables are years of living and housing size. Age and income are the next. In this study of image, we can learn about manner in which individuals come to see, understand, and cope with the environment at a personal level. So, user-oriented approach is useful in environmental design, and particularly, it is useful in the apartment housing of the future life space.

스마트폰 기반의 QR코드 해석기 성능분석 및 응용개발 (Application Development and Performance Analysis of Smartphone-based QR Code Interpreter)

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 시대가 도래함에 따라 서비스 형태가 다양화되고 있다. 모바일 기술의 발전으로 휴대폰의 새로운 기능들이 대두되고 있고 모바일폰을 활용한 유비쿼터스 응용들이 활발히 개발 중이다. 또한 모바일폰과 관련된 여러 응용에서 이차원 바코드의 활용이 증가하고 있다. 이차원 바코드는 지금까지 이력관리를 위해서 주로 사용되다가 모바일폰에 탑재되면서 교육, 관광, 축제 등 홍보를 위한 수단으로 그 영역이 확장되었다. 본 논문에서는 이차원 바코드인 QR코드의 응용영역을 확장하여 오프라인과 온라인을 연동하는 스마트폰 기반의 QR코드 해석기를 개발한다. 또한 트리즈(TRIZ)를 이용하여 성능개선을 위한 요소를 찾아내고 해석기를 개선한다. 본 논문에서 개발한 QR코드 해석기와 오픈 소스 기반의 QR코드 해석기의 성능을 해석이 가능한 QR코드 이미지의 크기, 해석 속도 측면에서 비교하여 본 논문에서 제안한 해석기의 우수성을 입증한다. 마지막으로 QR코드를 이용한 응용으로 u-맵과 u-팜플렛을 소개한다.

Pseudomonas putida에서 분리한 플라스미드 pKU 10의 특성 (Characteristics of the R plasmid pKU10 isolated from Pseudomonas putida)

  • Pseudomonas putida KU816에서 분리한 플라스미드 pKU10의 여러가지 특성을 조사하고 그 제한 효소 지도를 작성하였다. pKU 10은 암펴설런, 테트라사이클린, 클로람페니콜에 대한 내성 유전자를 갖는 작은 R factor로서 마이토마이신 C에 의하여 큐어링 된다. 플라스미드의 크기는 9.4Kb로 측정되었다. pKU 10은 Pseudomonas와 E.coli블 숙주로 하였을 때 안정하게 형질 발현이 되다. 또한 pKU 10의 불화합성균은 IncP-I으로 조사되었다. Eco RI, Xho I. SaiI, BglII, SmaI은 pKU 10 DNA를 한 부위에서 자르고, Pst I은 두 부위, Hind Ill는 여섯 부위에서 자른다. 제한 효소 지도는 제한 효소를 이중, 삼중으로 완전 소화시키거나, 부분 소화시켜서 얻었다. pKU 10은 Pseudomonas속에서 유용한 클로닝 벡터호 이용된 것으로 기대된다.

Parallel Computing on Intensity Offset Tracking Using Synthetic Aperture Radar for Retrieval of Glacier Velocity

  • Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) observations are powerful tools to monitor surface's displacement very accurately, induced by earthquake, volcano, ground subsidence, glacier movement, etc. Especially, radar interferometry (InSAR) which utilizes phase information related to distance from sensor to target, can generate displacement map in line-of-sight direction with accuracy of a few cm or mm. Due to decorrelation effect, however, degradation of coherence in the InSAR application often prohibit from construction of differential interferogram. Offset tracking method is an alternative approach to make a two-dimensional displacement map using intensity information instead of the phase. However, there is limitation in that the offset tracking requires very intensive computation power and time. In this paper, efficiency of parallel computing has been investigated using high performance computer for estimation of glacier velocity. Two TanDEM-X SAR observations which were acquired on September 15, 2013 and September 26, 2013 over the Narsap Sermia in Southwestern Greenland were collected. Atotal of 56 of 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon processors(28 physical processors with hyperthreading) by operating with linux environment were utilized. The Gamma software was used for application of offset tracking by adjustment of the number of processors for the OpenMP parallel computing. The processing times of the offset tracking at the 256 by 256 pixels of window patch size at single and 56 cores are; 26,344 sec and 2,055 sec, respectively. It is impressive that the processing time could be reduced significantly about thirteen times (12.81) at the 56 cores usage. However, the parallel computing using all the processors prevent other background operations or functions. Except the offset tracking processing, optimum number of processors need to be evaluated for computing efficiency.

딥러닝 기반의 핵의학 폐검사 분류 모델 적용 (Application of Deep Learning-Based Nuclear Medicine Lung Study Classification Model)

  • The purpose of this study is to apply a deep learning model that can distinguish lung perfusion and lung ventilation images in nuclear medicine, and to evaluate the image classification ability. Image data pre-processing was performed in the following order: image matrix size adjustment, min-max normalization, image center position adjustment, train/validation/test data set classification, and data augmentation. The convolutional neural network(CNN) structures of VGG-16, ResNet-18, Inception-ResNet-v2, and SE-ResNeXt-101 were used. For classification model evaluation, performance evaluation index of classification model, class activation map(CAM), and statistical image evaluation method were applied. As for the performance evaluation index of the classification model, SE-ResNeXt-101 and Inception-ResNet-v2 showed the highest performance with the same results. As a result of CAM, cardiac and right lung regions were highly activated in lung perfusion, and upper lung and neck regions were highly activated in lung ventilation. Statistical image evaluation showed a meaningful difference between SE-ResNeXt-101 and Inception-ResNet-v2. As a result of the study, the applicability of the CNN model for lung scintigraphy classification was confirmed. In the future, it is expected that it will be used as basic data for research on new artificial intelligence models and will help stable image management in clinical practice.

Sensitivity analysis of input variables to establish fire damage thresholds for redundant electrical panels

  • In the worst case, a temporary ignition source (also known as transient combustibles) between two electrical panels can damage both panels. Mitigation strategies for electrical panel fires were previously developed using fire modeling and risk analysis. However, since they do not comply with deterministic fire protection requirements, it is necessary to analyze the boundary values at which combustibles may damage targets depending on various factors. In the present study, a sensitivity analysis of input variables related to the damage threshold of two electrical panels was performed for dimensionless geometry using a Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS). A new methodology using a damage evaluation map was developed to assess the damage of the electrical panel. The input variables were the distance between the electrical panels, the vertical height of the fuel, the size of the fire, the wind speed and the wind direction. The heat flux was determined to increase as the vertical distance between the fuel and the panel decreased, and the largest heat flux was predicted when the vertical separation distance divided by one half flame length was 0.3-0.5. As the distance between the panels increases, the heat flux decreases according to the power law, and damage can be avoided when the distance between the fuel and the panel is twice the length of the panel. When the wind direction is east and south, to avoid damage to the electrical panel the distance must be increased by 1.5 times compared to no wind. The present scale model can be applied to any configuration where combustibles are located between two electrical panels, and can provide useful guidance for the design of redundant electrical panels.

정밀도로지도의 대용량 공간데이터 교환을 위한 직렬화 기법 설계 (Serialization Method for large spatial data transmission of High Definition Map)

  • 공간데이터의 활용 범위와 서비스가 늘어나면서 정밀한 공간데이터를 필요로 하는 기술들이 많아지고 있다. 특히 정밀도로지도는 3차원 공간데이터를 수집, 가공, 처리하는 것이 필수적이며 이를 통해 자율주행 지원이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 정밀도로지도를 대상으로 대용량의 공간데이터를 효율적으로 저장 및 전송할 수 있는 공간데이터 직렬화 기법을 설계하고 구현하였다. 효율적인 직렬화를 위해 바이너리 형태의 공간데이터 구조를 정의하였으며 Zigzag-Z-order 곡선을 활용하여 정보의 손실 없는 좌표 값 인코딩 기법을 설계하였다. 설계한 공간데이터 직렬화 기법을 정밀도로지도 대상으로 구현 및 적용하여 Protocol buffer, Geobuf와 인코딩 후 데이터 크기, 인코딩/디코딩 속도를 비교하였다. 그 결과 경량화 성능과 인코딩 속도는 모든 유형의 공간데이터에서 설계한 직렬화 방식이 우수한 것을 확인하였다. 하지만 디코딩 속도는 선과 면 유형의 공간데이터에서 다른 직렬화 기법의 성능이 우수하였다. 본 연구를 통해 바이너리 형식의 직렬화 기법으로 공간데이터를 효율적으로 인코딩하여 저장 및 전송할 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

Magnetic resonance imaging texture analysis for the evaluation of viable ovarian tissue in patients with ovarian endometriosis: a retrospective case-control study

  • Background: Texture analysis has been used as a method for quantifying image properties based on textural features. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the usefulness of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) texture analysis for the evaluation of viable ovarian tissue on the perfusion map of ovarian endometriosis. Methods: To generate a normalized perfusion map, subtracted T1-weighted imaging (T1WI), T1WI and contrast-enhanced T1W1 with sequences were performed using the same parameters in 25 patients with surgically confirmed ovarian endometriosis. Integrated density is defined as the sum of the values of the pixels in the image or selection. We investigated the parameters for texture analysis in ovarian endometriosis, including angular second moment (ASM), contrast, correlation, inverse difference moment (IDM), and entropy, which is equivalent to the product of area and mean gray value. Results: The perfusion ratio and integrated density of normal ovary were 0.52±0.05 and 238.72±136.21, respectively. Compared with the normal ovary, the affected ovary showed significant differences in total size (p<0.001), fractional area ratio (p<0.001), and perfusion ratio (p=0.010) but no significant differences in perfused tissue area (p=0.158) and integrated density (p=0.112). In comparison of parameters for texture analysis between the ovary with endometriosis and the contralateral normal ovary, ASM (p=0.004), contrast (p=0.002), IDM (p<0.001), and entropy (p=0.028) showed significant differences. A linear regression analysis revealed that fractional area had significant correlations with ASM (r2=0.211), IDM (r2=0.332), and entropy (r2=0.289). Conclusion: MRI texture analysis could be useful for the evaluation of viable ovarian tissues in patients with ovarian endometriosis.
