Social care service has grown much with the introduction of Long-Term Care Insurance, but it remains difficult to answer in the affirmative to the question: are we providing sufficiently good care? This study has its purpose in figuring out what conditions are necessary to realize good care in our society. The study has used focus group interview (FGI) as a way to acquire realistic knowledge on the conditions that create good care and its deterring factors. The focus group interview, which targeted long-term care workers and facility heads, was conducted three times from January through March 2014, with each session taking about 3 hours. The analysis showed that the components of good care were mutual understanding and recognition through active interaction, making a good relationship based on mutual trust and respect, professionalism of care worker with flexible judgment that provides customized services, professionalism of center manager with appropriate intermediation, and the tripartite partnership among family, elderly, and care worker. Meanwhile, the deterring factors of good care were identified as devaluation of care labor, ambiguous job description and abuse, unprofessionalism of care worker and manager, inappropriate interference and indifference of family, and the structural constraints on long-term care environment.

This study shows the difference between groups with multivariate analysis of fire prevention activities, special investigations of fire safety, and fire safety management according to the management method of apartment houses and the inspection of firefighting facilities. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, there was a significant difference in fire prevention activities according to the quality of inspection of firefighting facilities. This means that fire prevention is high if the fire safety manager's ability to inspect firefighting facilities is excellent and the fire safety inspection is conducted in accordance with national fire safety standards and checklists. Second, there was a significant difference in the fire safety special investigation according to the management method of the apartment buildings. The manual operated by the management entity and the management entity's management and execution help the organization members to expedite work. This expedition of work creates a high possiblity to get a good evaluation from the special investigation of fire safety. Third, analysis of fire prevention activities showed a significant interaction between the inspection of firefighting facilities and the management method of apartment buildings. The analysis shows that that there is a positive correlation between the level of fire prevention and both the fire safety manager's ability to inspect firefighting facilities and the degree to which the inspection is conducted to meet national fire safety standards.

Quality criteria for interaction between a pantograph and overhead contact wire is a most important requirement to assess of the performance for the current collection system. Interaction performance between pantograph and catenary system is subject to approval by the infrastructure manager when a new design and contraction of overhead contact line and pantograph are installed. Among the various performance, percentage of arcing at maximum line speed is a simple test method compared with contact force of pantograph due to direct sensing of pantagraph, calibrations, installations of train, and etc. On the other hand, percentage of arcing is need to reliable arcing detector and general requirements with accordance with EN 50317. In this paper, percentage of arcing are investigated on the function of duration of arc and proposed which is satiable of percentage of arcing. As a results, we proposed which duration of arcs are unsuitable from infrastructures point of view as performance testing for quality of current collection.

This study examined the effects of work-family spillover on the organizational attachment of female managers. The 4th and 5th data sets of Korean Women Manager Panel Survey established by the Korean Women's Development Institute were merged and the 5th data set for female managers was analyzed. The findings reveal that work-family support relationship is an important factor for strengthening the organizational attachment on the part of female managers. For working women, organizational support and family support is the most significant driving force for retaining their career. Second, negative spillover from family to work rather than that from work to family had a stronger impact on the organizational attachment of female managers. This finding suggests that women are not free from their status in the family, and that conflict relationships originating from the family ha a stronger impact on women's organizational attachment than that generated from work. Third, the third stage model incorporates the interaction terms of work-family spillover and organizational culture. The results showed that the interaction effect alone remains. In particular, family-work positive spillover exerts positive (+) effects on the organizational attachment only if a rational organizational culture is in place. Work-family negative spillover, however, shows negative (-) effects under rational organizational culture. Family-work negative spillover combined with rational organizational culture reinforces the organizational attachment, but has negative (-) effects under traditional organizational culture. The implications might be that women may experience negative family to work spillover, which may weaken their organizational attachment and that a rational organizational culture can reverse the spillover effect and increase the organizational attachment of female managers. No interaction effect of organizational culture appears for work to family negative spillover. A differential effect by the direction of spillover requires further study. In addition, more study will be needed to develop a more integrative model with the relevant variables not included in this study and sub-group analyses will be needed to ascertain the differences within female managers.
Purpose - Because creativity, which is an intangible resource embedded within the company, can offer a competitive advantage, most companies have an interest in promoting creativity among their employees and division(e.g., marketing organization). Creativity renders a sustainable competitive advantage to a firm because it is a strategic resource that is valuable, flexible, rare, and imperfectly imitable or substitutable. Although most companies broadly recognize the importance of creativity, the methods for developing creativity remain elusive. Therefore, the present study investigates how to structure incentives to motivate employees to be more creative and how to develop tools to facilitate creativity. In detail, the present study aimed to examine the relationship between the regulatory focus of marketing organizations(e.g., promotion focus vs prevention focus) and creativity of marketing organizations. In addition, the present study set out to examine the moderating role of interaction of financial reward and creative training in addition to investigating the direct relationship between creativity and regulatory focus in New Product Development(NPD) context. Research design, data, and methodology - The data used to test the hypotheses are drawn from a survey of full time NPD project members(including project manager, designer, engineer, and marketer). The present study utilized data obtained mainly from a database compiled by the Korea Investors Service-Financial Analysis System which provides comprehensive corporate and financial information on firms listed on the Korea Stock Exchange. A study population comprising 1,000 South Korean firms was obtained from this database. We selected 864 firms from the database, and the firms have experiences of new product development project. We collected a total of 162 responses, for a 18.8% response rate. After we excluded 14 questionnaire because of incomplete responses, a total of 148 questionnaire remained(final response rate: 17.1%). SPSS 18.0 and AMOS software were used in the data analysis. Results - The empirical study confirmed that promotion focus of marketing organization is positively related to creativity of marketing organization. Also, prevention focus of marketing organization is positively affected to creativity of marketing organization. In addition, the interaction between financial rewards and creativity training moderated the relationship between regularity focus(e.g.), promotion focus vs prevention focus) and creativity of marketing organization. These results suggest that managers can improve the performances of their creative efforts by providing the use of financial rewards and creativity training in combination. Conclusion - Based on results of this study that examine the effects of regulatory focused creative efforts on creativity of marketing organization, promotion focus is helpful with marketing organizations to enhance their service innovation and performance. Prevention focused organization should allow monetary rewards and creativity training to increase their creativity for innovation of new products.
The information technology(IT) development of telecommunication, along with the informationalization over the world, enables the firms to process their inner and outer operations through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system. And the concept of logistics has become more important to the enterprises in strategic sense because it had aggrandized itself to more comprehensive and integrative concept. Also the world shipping market is more competitive than any other market. In these environment, to maintain competitve power, shipping firms process operations by Logistics Information system(LIS), And then, reduce the working processes, working time and its costs. So the LIS has become more important in developing our national logistics system and industry. Therefore, this study purposes on empirically analyzing the activation factors of shipping LIS and the relationship these factors with logistic performances in the shipping industry. Considering environments of Shipping logistics information system, this study sets up the research model and hypothesis to examine the activation factors of shipping LIS and the relationship these factors with logistic performances. We used the field data on the 163 numbers of firms(29 overseas shipping companies and 133 forwarding Agency) to get the empirical evidence. According to the study results, The shipping LIS activation factors which the sample firms recognized as important: were top manager's support, well structured communication channel, strategic plan's connection and inner informationalization level. And IS organization & human resources, IS discipline & training, software development, IS organizational alignment, database management system, information standardization, competitive advantage, financial support and government support represent partially significant. Also, the current shipping LIS's main problems are expensive system cost, standardization of working process's, institution's imperfection and system's interaction defect. So these problems must be improved to activate shipping LIS.

Illegal fishing is often cited as a principal cause of the failure of fisheries management, expecially fishing efforts regulations in traditional fisheries management. Usually, illegal fishing problems are perceived to be equivalent to inadequate enforcement, and policy prescription then follow to strengthen enforcement programs. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the illegal fishing behavior relatively recent emphasis on fishing efforts regulations in traditional fisheries management. The analysis focuses on measuring, explaining and developing the effectiveness way of enforcement strategies responding to imperfectly managed fishing efforts regulations through illegal fishing behavior and avoid enforcement fishing efforts measures. A model of fishermen fishing behavior and profit-maximizing decision making is analyzed to determine optimal fishing at individual fisherman level in response to fishing efforts regulation. The results of economic analysis of the enforcement of illegal fishing in traditional fisheries management results are as follows: First, illegal fishing will occur only if enforcement effort is not so high as to remove the incentive to do so, and if the effectiveness of avoidance is not too great, nor its cost too low. Second, avoidance effort will occur at a level jointly proportional to the extent of illegal activity and of enforcement; for given levels of the latter, the desired avoidance effort increase with its effectiveness and decrease with its cost Third, to improve the effectiveness of enforcement, understanding avoidance behavior appears to be crucial to any efforts. Forth, enforcement and fishermen behavior interact depends strongly on characteristics of avoidance, specifically its cost and effectiveness. When avoidance is neither too cheap nor too effective, the interaction is regular. Fifth, in this case, at low levels of enforcement, fishers respond to increases in enforcement by increasing avoidance, but at higher enforcement levels, it becomes uneconomical to continue to do so, and avoidance decreases with enforcement. Sixth, illegal fishing activity decreases steadily with enforcement, so the fishery manager is able, in theory, to reduce illegal fishing toward zero by increasing enforcement. If, however, avoidance is very inexpensive and/or very efficient/ then the optimal level of avoidance will increase indefinitely with increasing enforcement. Finally, less fishery enforcement is required if fishermen have less incentive to overfish, and fishermen have less incentive to avoid fishery enforcement measures.
In this paper, we propose the MDBMS(Multi-DataBase Management System) which integrates the LDBMSs(Local DataBase Systems) with heterogeneous environment into distributed system and provides global users with rapidly query process. For designing the MDBMS, we define the functions of components and design the interaction among them. In a point of view of the global view manager in components, we describe the following 3 cases; (1)the case which the results for the global query are all stored to the global view repository, (2)the case which no result exists in the global view repository, and (3)the case which the partial results we stored to the global view repository. By comparing above cases, we establish the functionalities of our MDBMS through the sequence diagram including the interlace of among objects and the method calling. Finally, we propose the model designed in the concrete by showing the executing procedures of each function using sample query on established functions mentioned above.
The existing studies of a dialogue system can be classified into two major parts. One is a study for a practical system, and the other is a study to understand a principal of dialogue phenomena. The former focuses on robustness in real environment for dialogue systems. However, it cannot guarantee its performance in complicated dialogue environment. The latter has studied as the plan-based model typically. It has strong points that it can reflect complex dialogue phenomena and can infer user's intention in various situations. However, an initial design of this model is so complicated, and it is difficult for this model to be extended to the interaction model for response generation in a practical dialogue system. This paper proposes a new dialogue modeling using plan recognition and a discourse stark to effectively generate response in a practical dialogue system.
Purpose - Customer satisfaction has been considered important as a way to retain current customers. Specifically, the retention of current customers through customer satisfaction has been considered important in an industry where competition between companies is fierce. Major Korean airlines have confronted fierce competition with the growth of low cost carriers (LCCs). In order to survive, these airlines need to retain their customers. This research aims to investigate the relationships between customer satisfaction and the customer intention to remain loyal. Moreover, this study examines how the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty is moderated by gender. Research design, data, and methodology - A regression model is developed in which customer satisfaction, gender, and an interaction of satisfaction and gender are predictors and the customer's intention to remain loyal is a dependent variable. To analyze this research model, data were collected from 402 university students taking a marketing class in universities in Seoul, Chung-Cheong province, and Kangwon province. After eliminating data from students who had never flown and data with missing values, a final sample of 201 was analyzed. The hypotheses were tested using SPSS 21.0. Internal reliability was supported by the results of Cronbach's α. Multiple regression was performed. Results - Empirical results showed that customer satisfaction toward the airline's service had a positive influence on the customer intention to remain loyal to the airlines. Moreover, this influence was moderated by gender. More specifically, a male customer's intention to remain loyal was more determined by his satisfaction toward airline service than a female customer's. Conclusions - This research contributes to the aviation service marketing literature by showing how customer satisfaction influences customer intention to remain loyal and how this influence is moderated by gender. More specifically, male customer loyalty is more determined by airline service satisfaction than female customers. These results have manager implications for major Korean airlines in terms of customer satisfaction and gender as ways to enhance customer retention.
