In a dynamically changing environment, the manager of a maintenance and remodeling (M/R) program is confronted with an increasing complexity of coordinating and cooperating multi-resource constrained multiple projects. The root causes of the complexity, uncertainty and interdependence, cause an internal disruption of an activity and chain reactions of disturbance propagation that deteriorate the stability and manageability of the program. This paper evaluates previous endeavors to apply production control and management techniques to the construction industry, and investigates the possibility of applying other management concepts and theories to organizational program management. In particular, this paper proposes a buffer allocation model by which periodic buffers are allocated in the flows of program constraint resources to stabilize a program master schedule instead of protecting individual activities. Comparative experiments by Monte Carlo simulations illustrate improved performance of the proposed model in terms of program's goals: productivity, flexibility, and long-term stability.
Purpose: This study was performed to test an obesity management program for elementary school children. The program was assessed by examining its effects on the obesity, dietary attitudes, dietary habits, and exercise habits. Methods: The participants were 65 elementary school children, of which 32 were assigned for the experimental group and 33 for the control group. The experimental group received an 8 weeks obesity management program. The outcome variables were measured before and after the program. $X^2$-test and t-test were used to analyze the data. Results: After the obesity management program, the BMI and fat mass percentage in the experimental group were significantly reduced. The score for dietary attitudes and dietary habits changed in a positive direction. Conclusions: The findings from this study suggest that the obesity management program was effective in decreasing the rate of obesity and increasing the score for dietary attitudes and dietary habits. The program should be effective in the management of obesity in elementary school children.
To give additional assistance in education for family time use and time management a computer program based on the time-related theories was developed. For this purpose the study consisted of three main stages. First various theories of family time use time management strategies and household work time were investigated and the assumptions were suggested. Second the module for predicting family time use was designed and the program using the module was developed. Third to evaluate the program's benefits the program was used at introductory class of undergraduate course. As the results the sophisticated software program could be used as an educational instrument to help not only students but also individual and family member to become knowledgeable about managers of family time resource. furthermore this program could be useful for the educators and counselors to help individuals and households with time use problems.

To achieve this research goal, this study examines current state of culture-program management and user's participation by analyzing users' participation logs of the National Library of Korea, Sejong. The users' participation logs have been accumulated from May, 2015, to December, 2017, and the logs contain 722 program data, 24,816 program participation data, and 6,729 users data. The data were used for analyzing of program management, users' characteristics, and changes based on timelines. Based on the analysis results, culture-program management problems were pointed out and future improvement methods for solving the problems were proposed. This study analyzes culture-program management in view of users using real users' participation logs, and it has significance for being different from preceding researches focusing on culture-program providers.
This Study developed 'Environment Management Integrated Leader(EMIL)' program and evaluated the effect of the Program. The procedure of EMIL program development is as follows; 1) Identifying the training needs Through the interview and discussion with corporate environmental staff and research members, training need are collected. 2) Setting the training objectives 30 objectives are developed through specifying and organizing the training needs. 3) Determining the scopes of the program This program consists of the four scopes. First, the scope of Environmentally Acceptable Management is developed based on ISO 14000 and certification of environmentally friendly business. Second, the scope of Environmentally Acceptable Technology includes air pollution, water pollution, solid wasted management, and pollution prevention. Third, the scope of Integrated Environmental Management focuses on master plan, green marketing, green production, and green accounting. Finally, the scope of Integrated Environmental Concepts focuses on food pollution, environmental activities, and bio-diversity. 4) Selecting the training methods Various methods are used such as off-site visits, exercises, case study, workshop, discussion, role-playing as well as lecture. 5) Implementing the program 49 trainees participated the program for 6weeks. All trainees are working for D. Company Group. 6) Measuring training effects To evaluate the effects of the program, pre-post training evaluation method is used. The results are highly significant at all 4 scopes by the p<.01. This study has some implications in order to establish the environmental management climate. First, the development of new environmental education program for management is necessary. Second, Vast investment are required. Third, more systematic approaches are desired in environmental education. Lastly, more customized program development and implementation to fit in industries will accelerate the expansion of environmental concept.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop web-based self-nutrition management u-Health program for diabetic patients (DMDMG: Diabetes Mellitus Dietary Management Guide) for achieving systematic self-management of diet. Methods: The program consisted of five parts with different contents according to the results of needs assessment. Five major parts were 1) meal management part which contains calorie prescription, meals recording and dietary assessment, 2) prevention of disease part with information of diabetes and assessment of dietary behavior, 3) dietary behavior modification part with an education on dietary behavior modification plan and dietary behavior plan, 4) meal plan containing a training section for meal plan and self constructing part for meal planning by making tables, and 5) information about myself which composed with general and physical information. The system proposed in this study provides nutrients intake results right after input of diet intake, which is possible with simultaneous calculation of input data in the server with 3,495 food and 1,821 meal data base. The nutrients analysis program was evaluated with 26 diabetic patients with two-day 24 hr recall. Results: The differences of nutrients intakes between DMDMG and CANPRO 3.0 ranged from 13.5-16.5%, which was caused by the differences of databases of the two programs. The characteristics of DMDMG were; 1) it can provide an interactive tailored nutrition management, 2) it is a practical tool of diabetes nutritional management, 3) the program gives motivation for the dietary behavior modification. Conclusions: The effectiveness of whole program needs to be conducted, but the program was an innovative tool for self-management of nutrient intakes, diet behaviors, meal management and tailored nutrition education.
Objectives : The objective of this study is to examine the findings of a survey assessing the treatment and management status of individuals with diabetes and pre-diabetes, along with their inclination to participate in the Korean Medicine Chronic Disease Management Program. Methods : The survey focused on individuals with diabetes and pre-diabetes, gathering information on respondents' demographic details, diabetes diagnosis, duration of diabetes, attitudes and experiences regarding Korean medicine diabetes treatment, and their willingness to participate in the 'Korean Medicine Chronic Disease Management Program'. Results : 33.1% of participants reported prior experience with Korean medicine treatment for diabetes. The intention to actively utilize Korean medicine treatment was positively observed, with a response rate of 61.1% expressing a favorable inclination and 8.9% indicating a negative stance. Furthermore, 75.3% of patients expressed their intention to participate in the 'Korean Medicine Chronic Disease Management Program' in the future. Among those expressing this intention, 81.4% stated a preference for the 'Korean-Western medicine combined management' in the chronic disease management Program. Conclusions : Patients' willingness to participate in 'Korean Medicine Diabetes Management Program' is high, but lack of information about Korean medicine is a factor that deprives people of the opportunity to experience Korean medicine treatment, and non-medical factors such as difficulty in visiting and administrative complexity are factors that impede participation in the 'Korean Medicine Chronic Disease Management Program'. It should be considered for improvement when formulating policies.

This study reviewed the national standards for risk management to judge whether they are suitable for a product safety management program. Among the standards issued from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan, and UK, the risk management guideline (AS/NZS 4360: 2000) issued jointly from both Australia and New Zealand have better features of product safety management program such as a broad definition of risk concept including opportunities of loss and gain, stepwise composition of processes applicable iteratively, and integrable composition of processes for the existing other management practice. Comparing the three product safety management programs suggested by several authors yielded common features of product safety management program model: (1) organization for product safety, (2) risk identification, (3) risk evaluation, (4) risk treatment, (5) monitoring/communication, and (6) documentation. All of these activities can be performed within risk management framework.
