유튜브 패션 콘텐츠에 표현된 남성 하위문화 연구 - 딕 햅디지의 하위문화 이론을 중심으로 - (A Study of Male Subculture on Fashion Contents of YouTube - Focusing on Dick Hebdige's Subculture Theory -)

  • This study focused on popular YouTube subculture content and male YouTuber characteristics. We conducted a case study on YouTube videos and viewer's comments of male YouTubers who interacted with subculture or fashion themes within YouTube. Based on Dick Hebdige's subculture theory, we categorized male subculture characteristics of style expression to show how YouTube plays a role in the formation of subculture. The representative types of male subculture were divided into metro sexual, adolescent boys, drag queen, and homosexual. YouTube simultaneously played a role in accumulating video viewing as well as indirect experiences in various communication activities and cultures among viewers. YouTube was used as a space for video producers as well as viewers and subscribers to discover and build identity. Subculture makes people aware of cultural diversity within society, and their doubles and lifestyles serve as important clues to track culture and fashion changes. This research is significant in the field of fashion media and subculture research due to its examination of male subculture phenomenon on YouTube based on an analysis of the video content of culture insiders and viewers' comments as well as immediate responses.

중학생의 진로성숙도에 영향을 미치는 변인 분석 - 자아정체감을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Influential Variables on Career Maturity of Middle School Students - Focusing on Self-Identity -)

  • 본 연구는 경남지역 중학생의 자아정체감과 진로성숙도의 관계를 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 첫째, 중학생의 자아정체감은 배경변인에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는가? 둘째, 중학생의 진로성숙도는 배경변인에 따라 어떠한 차이가 있는가? 셋째, 중학생의 자아정체감과 진로성숙도의 관계는 어떠한가? 넷째, 배경변인과 자아정체감이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향력은 어떠한가? 이상의 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 진주와 창원 시내에 위치한 중학교 3학년과 거제와 하동, 산청, 충무의 읍 면 지역에 위치한 중학교 3학년의 남 여 학생 551명(남학생 317명, 여학생 234명)을 대상으로 자아정체감과 진로성숙도를 검사한 후 빈도분석, Cronbach'$\alpha$, t-검증, 일원배치분산분석, 다중회귀분석의 통계 분석을 하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 배경변인에 따른 자아정체감의 차이를 알아본 결과 어머니학력, 학업성적, 경제수준의 변인에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 배경변인에 따른 진로성숙도의 차이를 알아본 결과 성별, 어머니학력, 학업성적의 변인에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 셋째, 전체 자아정체감과 전체 진로성숙도 간에는 높은 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 진로성숙도에 가장 영향을 많이 미치는 변인은 자아정체감이었으며 그 다음으로 성별이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자아정체감의 하위항목들이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향력을 알아본 결과 주체성, 자기수용성, 미래확신성, 목표지향성, 친밀성으로 나타났다. 이상과 같은 연구 결과를 통해 자아정체감이 진로성숙도에 긍정적인 영향을 준다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구 결과를 교육현장의 기술가정시간에 활용한다면 학생들의 자아정체감의 향상과 더불어 진로성숙도도 향상될 수 있다는 교육적 시사점을 발견하였다.

대학생의 건강생활 습관과 스트레스에 관한 연구 (Health Life Behavior and Perceived Stress of University Students)

  • This study was performed in oder to investigate to dietary behavior, perceived stress and their correlations of University students. The number of subjects was 549 and the results of this study are as followed: Only 13.9% of students-20% of male students, 10% of female students-exercise regularly. Regular exercise and health condition had no statistical relationship in this study. 83.9% of subjects had experience of alcohol drinking (19.4% of male students, 7.3% of female students). Many students replied that they drink alcohol 1∼2 times per a week. 24.4% of students-only 2.6% of female students-were smoking and great number of smokers were drinking also. The BMI of 46.7% of subjects were in normal range. 48.2% were in under weighted and 5.1% were in over weighted or obesity. The stress factor of University students were analyzed into 12. Inner stress factors like as identity, coursework, friendship, health problem were more potent in female students than male. Among the health related habits, disease itself had a great effect on many stress factors but regular exercise had a little.

Disease Prevention Knowledge, Anxiety, and Professional Identity during COVID-19 Pandemic in Nursing Students in Zhengzhou, China

  • Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate nursing students' understanding of the prevention of COVID-19, as well as their anxiety towards the disease and their perception of their professional identity in the wake of the pandemic, in Zhengzhou, China. Methods: A cross-sectional study was designed to investigate 474 nursing students by cluster sampling using a stratified questionnaire from February 15 to March 31, 2020. Multiple linear regression was used to identify the factors affecting professional identity. Binary and multiple logistic regression were used to identify the factors affecting anxiety. Results: Responders with a high level of understanding of COVID-19 and frequent use of behavioral strategies for its prevention comprised 93.2% and 30.0% of the cohort, respectively. Professional identity was significantly associated with gender and anxiety (p < .050). The prevalence of anxiety among nursing students was 12.4%. Male (odds ratio [OR] = 2.39; 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.26~4.52), sophomores (OR = 5.30; 95% CI = 1.61~7.45), and infrequent use of prevention measures (OR = 3.49; 95% CI = 1.16~5.19) had a significant effect on anxiety. Conclusion: Anxiety during the COVID-19 epidemic gives an adverse effect on the professional identity of nursing in students. Nursing education institutions need to provide psychological counseling services for nursing students, in addition to improving their teaching of COVID-19 prevention strategies.

일부 보건계열 대학생들의 진로결정자기효능감 및 진로정체감이 취업준비행동에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Career Decision-making Self-efficacy and Career Identity by Health Science College Students on Job Preparation Behavior)

  • Objectives: This study is designed to evaluate the influential factors of career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity by health science college students on their job preparation beaviors. Methods: The total 714 questionnaires were distributed to juniors and seniors of health science college, and the result was statistically analyzed through IBM SPSS statistics 20.0. Results: 1. There was no significant difference of job preparation behavior between male students and female students, and while seniors showed highly active job preparation behaviors, those who had high satisfaction level toward their major studies, high academic achievement, and outgoing personality had highly active job preparation behaviors. 2. Students with high satisfaction level toward their major studies, high academic achievement, outgoing personality, and high expected salaries showed high career decision-making self-efficacy level. 3. Students with high satisfaction level toward their major studies, high academic achievement and highly outgoing personality showed high level of career identity. 4. Subsidiary factors of career decision-making self-efficacy were collection of job information, goal setting, planning, and self-assessment, and all of them showed correlation with job preparation behaviors. 5. Among subsidiary factors of career decision-making self-efficacy, "self-understanding" and understanding of job information showed correlation with job preparation behaviors. Conclusion: For improvement on career decision-making self-efficacy and career identity of health science college students, individual support, psychological support, educational support and other supports regarding job employment to provide wide paths and methods for job preparation behaviors are essential, and through various job employment education program and graded counseling, job preparation behaviors shall be promoted as a great strategy.

성별에 따른 SNS사용유형이 우울감에 미치는 영향연구: 집단소속감, 지각된 사회지지, 부정적 사회비교의 매개효과 (The Relation between Social Networking Sites and Depression by Gender: Mediating effects of Collective Identity, Perceived Social Support, and Negative Comparison)

  • 본 연구는 Social Networking Sites(SNS)의 사용유형과 우울감의 관계에서 지각된 사회지지와 부정적 사회비교의 매개효과가 성별에 따라 차이가 있는지를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 483명의 성인들을 대상으로 수집된 자료를 이용하여 다집단 구조방정식 분석을 실시하였고, 부트스트랩 분석으로 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과로는 남녀 모두 SNS를 통해 집단소속감을 느끼며 높은 집단소속감은 높은 사회지지와 낮은 우울감으로 연결되었고, 높은 부정적 사회비교는 높은 우울감으로 연결되었다. 그러나 남성의 경우 집단소속감과 부정적 사회비교 간의 유의미한 관계는 나타나지 않은 반면 여성의 경우 집단소속감이 높을수록 부정적 사회비교 역시 높았고 이는 우울감에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 SNS의 사용은 온라인 환경에서의 집단소속감을 가질 수 있는 긍정적인 효과가 있으나, 성별에 따른 집단 내에서의 소속감은 부정적 사회비교에 서로 다른 영향을 주었고 이에 따라 우울감이 달라질 수 있음을 시사하였다.

유튜브 채널 패션필름 분석을 통한 크리스찬 디올의 브랜드 커뮤니케이션 특성 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Christian Dior's Brand Communication through YouTube Channel Fashion Film Analysis)

  • This study presents methods and alternative examples for fashion brands to effectively use video-based communication channels to form brand identity that analyzes the definition, status and type of YouTube channel fashion films as well as enables the ability to derive brand identity characteristics. Literature studies focused on Christian Dior's official website and related previous studies. The temporal range of the case studies was from October 7, 2010, the date when the first fashion film was uploaded to current Christian Dior YouTube to July 17, 2020 (the survey date), and there are a total of 550 subjects for quantitative analysis. The succession of the couture spirit means that Christian Dior's craftsmanship was created and passed down by Musée Christian Dior to act as a contemporary key element of brand identity. The iconic expression of femininity is Dior's core design philosophy that began when the woman image of a new era was presented through a new look, and Dior's femininity means a woman that reflects the character of the times as is interpreted as her own personality from the perspective of modernism through the creative directors of future generations. The brand's core identity code 'Miss Dior' expresses the brand's vision and eternity through perfume as well as targets Z generation male consumers through an emotional approach based on forms that used emotional images such as movie-type films.

신생아실 실습경험에 대한 남자 간호학생의 인식유형 (Perspective Patterns of Male Nurse Students on Practice Experience in the Newborn Baby Room)

  • Purpose: This study is to use perspective patterns of male nurse students in new born room practice experience as a fundamental data which can be helpful to use theories with technique in the science of nursing for children. Method: The study was using the Q-methodology. Q-methodology was used 33 Q-samples selected, This study was analyzed by personal interviews from July to Nov 2005. 20 male students of nursing Dept. in J college were selected as p-samples based on 33 Q-samples. Result: The first type is the positive receivers ; they accept environmental changes positively in practice of new born baby room. The second is the life respecter ; they learn the mysteries and importance of life. The third type is the sexual identity founder ; they set up identify the sexual roles. Conclusion: As stated above, their newborn baby room practicing experience can be divided into 3 types. we suggest as follows: 1. qualitative research about practice experience of male nurse students should be needed. 2. newborn baby room practice of male nurse students teaching program should be developed.

남자 임상간호사의 경험에 관한 내용분석 (Content Analysis of Male Hospital Nurses' Experiences)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify job experiences of male hospital nurses. Methods: Data were collected from 20 male nurses working at general hospitals, through semi-structured in-depth interviews. The interviews were recorded and subsequently transcribed verbatim. Using content analysis, data were coded and categorized. Results: The analyzed domains were motivations for choosing nursing, occupational experiences (3 subdomains), and attitudes toward the future. A total of 85 significant statements were selected from the data and classified into 32 categories. The nurses' motivations for choosing nursing were advantages of employment, their aptitude, scarcity value of men, professionalism and job security, good promotion, stable income, and family influence. In occupational experiences, they were assigned to special fields and dissatisfied with vertical relationship, promotion system, their salary, and gaps in military service time; they had difficulties in adapting to female-dominated groups and encountered gender role stereotype and preconception; they were satisfied with their distinguished performance, but had damaged self-esteem, and were stressed and disappointed in their work. In their attitudes toward the future, they considered their career changes, but tried to make professional and personal advancement. Conclusion: These findings have implications for recruiting and retaining male nurses in clinical settings.

간호학과 남학생의 학과 적응에 관한 질적 메타합성 연구 (Adaptation Experiences of Male Students in Nursing Education Programs: A Meta-synthesis Study)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to integrate and synthesize findings from qualitative studies exploring male students' experiences of adapting to nursing education programs so as to obtain further understanding of the phenomenon. Methods: The meta-synthesis process was primarily guided by Noblit and Hare's approach, which consists of four stages including searching, appraisal of an individual study's quality, data extraction for analysis, and meta-synthesizing the results. Results: Findings from the literature reviewed were synthesized into six themes: 1) extraordinary choice based on job stability and gender scarcity; 2) unexpected feeling of marginalization as minority far apart from the mainstream; 3) assimilation and negotiation for relational adaptation through perspective shift; 4) fortifying the vision and identity as nursing students by meaning making for adapting to the nursing major; 5) mutual support among colleague male students; and 6) serving in the military as way of hiding out and achieving maturation. Conclusion: The findings illustrate that nursing education programs need practical changes promoting male students' adaptation to the program itself as well as preparation to be a professional nurse in the future.
