The single photo method has a lot of applications in forestry, traffic accident managements, industry, criminal investigation, and in daily life. In this study a new single photo method was developed by classifying into the Space resection method and the 2 Dimensional Perspective Transformation method. Metric and nonmetric cameras were used to analyse the accuracy by means of single photo method, and the errors in coordinates and lengths were studied by changing the number and arrangement of control points to obtain the optimum condition for the single photo method. The influence of number and arrangement of control points on the accuracy was relatively small in case of the Metric WILD P31 and ASAHI PENTAX 6$\times$7 cameras, where as for errors it was a major factor in the Non-metric Nikon FM2. To overcome these defects, at least 6 control points should be used for the errors to be convergent and they should be distributed evenly over the surveying area. It was found that accuracy increased as the object to be photographed was placed in the perpendicular direction to the axis of camera.
Pressing demands of economic competitiveness, the need for large-scale deployment, minimizing the need of human intervention, and experience from the past events and incidents at operating reactors have guided the evolution and innovations in reactor technologies. Indian innovative reactor 'AHWR' is a pressure-tube type natural circulation based boiling water reactor that is designed to meet such requirements, which essentially reflect the needs of next generation reactors. The reactor employs various passive features to prevent and mitigate accidental conditions, like a slightly negative void reactivity coefficient, passive poison injection to scram the reactor in event of failure of the wired shutdown systems, a large elevated pool of water as a heat sink inside the containment, passive decay heat removal based on natural circulation and passive valves, passive ECC injection, etc. It is designed to meet the fundamental safety requirements of safe shutdown, safe decay heat removal and confinement of activity with no impact in public domain, and hence, no need for emergency planning under all conceivable scenarios. This paper examines the role of the various passive safety systems in prevention and mitigation of severe plant conditions that may arise in event of multiple failures. For the purpose of demonstration of the effectiveness of its passive features, postulated scenarios on the lines of three major severe accidents in the history of nuclear power reactors are considered, namely; the Three Mile Island (TMI), Chernobyl and Fukushima accidents. Severe plant conditions along the lines of these scenarios are postulated to the extent conceivable in the reactor under consideration and analyzed using best estimate system thermal-hydraulics code RELAP5/Mod3.2. It is found that the various passive systems incorporated enable the reactor to tolerate the postulated accident conditions without causing severe plant conditions and core degradation.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among psycho-social well-being, and health perception and behavior in clinical nurses. Methods: The data were collected from 362 nurses employed at five general hospitals. A self-reported questionnaire was used to assess demographics and job characteristics, health perception and behavior, depression, and psycho-social stress. The data were analysed using Cronbach's alpha, descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA. Results: While nurses perceived themselves to be in good health, represented by a high mean for health perceptions, actual health behavior was poor as the mean for health behavior was low. Forty two percents of the subjects were categorized as having major depression and high-stress levels. There were statistically significant differences in psycho-social well-being according to age, marital status, years of employment, and monthly salary. Also, there were significant differences in psycho-social well-being according to health perception, regular meals and exercise, sufficient sleep, job related injury and accident, and absences for ill. Conclusion: In order to prevent depression and improve psycho-social well-being among clinical nurses, organizational support and health management needs to be focused on high-risk nurses. Furthermore, it is essential to consider the health perception and behavior of clinical nurses.

The subjects of this study consisted of 58 patients with Le Fort fractures, who were admitted to Chonbuk National University Hospital from Jan. 1988 to Oct. 1995. The author classified the maxillofacial fractures by Le Fort classification and examined the. incidence of Le Fort fractures by age, sex and etiology. The purpose of this study was to compare the imagings of conventional radiograms with those of computed tomograms and to aid in the diagnosis of patients with Le Fort fractures. The obtained results were as follows: 1. The Le Fort fractures occured mainly in 3rd and 4th decades, but there was no significant difference between decades. A ratio of men to women was 5.5 : 1. The major etiologic factors were traffic accident(69%), assault(14%) and fall-down(12%). 2. The most common type of Le Fort fracture was type I(49.3%). The numbers of Le Fort II, ill fractures were 41.3%, 9.4% respectively. And 8.6% were midsagittal splitting fractures. 3. The discontinuity and haziness of the maxillary sinus were easily detected by Waters' view. In skull PI A view, it was difficult to observe fractures due to overlapping of the other structures, but the haziness of the maxillary sinus was sometimes observed. 4. In Le Fort fracture, the fracture pattern of orbit, the wall of maxillary sinus, nasal bone and pterygoid plate were more easily detected in computed tomograms than in conventional radiograms.
Industrial secrets that companies own recently protected by various act related industrial security such as Trade Secret Act, Act on Prevention of Divulgence and Protection of Industrial Technology, etc. However, despite such protection infringement and leakage accidents of industrial secrets is increasing every year. According to a survey conducted by KAITS(Korean Association for Industrial Technology Security) annual average of estimated damage by industrial secrets leakage is estimated to be "50 trillion won." This is equivalent to the amount of annual revenue of small businesses more than 4,700 units. Following this, industrial secrets leakage causes serious damages to competitiveness of nation and companies and economic. However investment and effort to the industrial secrets leakage crime is lack of level compared to the scale of damage. Actually, most companies except some major companies are lack of response action about industrial secrets leakage because of shortage of separate organization, workforce, budget for industrial secrets leakage security. This paper aims to understand the overall flow of the industrial secrets leakage crime through various taxonomy such as cause of occurrence and leakage pathway and grasp the condition of damage from industrial secrets leakage through analyzation of internal and external industrial secrets leakage crime. This is expected to be the basis for related research.
Human error is one of the major contributors to the accidents. A lot of risk assessment techniques have been developed for prevention of accidents. Nevertheless, most of them were interested in physical factors, because quantitative evaluation of human errors was difficult quantitatively. According to lack of risk assessment techniques about human errors, most of industrial risk assessment for human errors were based on data of accident analysis. In order to develop an effective countermeasure to reduce the risk caused by human errors, a systematic analysis is needed. Generally, risk assessment system is composed of 5 step(classification of work activity, identification of hazards, risk estimation, evaluation and improvement). This study aimed to develop a risk identification technique for human errors that could mainly be applied to industrial fields. In this study, Ergo-HAZOP and Comprehensive Human Error Analysis Technique were used for developing the risk identification technique. In the proposed risk identification technique, Ergo-HAZOP was used for broad-brush risk identification. More critical risks were analysed by Comprehensive Human Error Analysis Technique. In order to verify applicability, the proposed risk identification technique was applied to the work of pile head cutting. As a consequence, extensive hazards were identified and fundamental countermeasures were established. It is expected that much attention would be paid to prevent accidents by human error in industrial fields since safety personnel can easily fint out hazards of human factors if utilizing the proposed risk identification technique.
The chemical industries have used large amounts of chemicals. If an accident occurs, it caused physical and human damage. We intended to investigate risk assessment for the prevention of accidents. The risk assessment by HAZOP technique has been applide to major chemical industries, and that result has been utilized efficiently. In this study, we analyzed Bow-Tie and HAZOP technique, and risk assesment was performed by Bow-Tie on toxic material process. As a result, the risk that can not be found in the risk assessment of the other is derived, and improvements of 14 to remove the dangers derived. Bow-Tie risk assessment is suitable to derive the applicability of risk factors in the field and to establish the improvement measures.

There is a growing need to apply TBM tunnelling method for the construction of underground facilities such as subways and utility tunnels in urban areas. Due to the variability and uncertainty of the ground, tunnelling in urban areas has various safety hazards which could cause damage to people and properties and it is very costly to recover from accidents. Therefore, it is very important to identify hazards from the planning and design phase and to establish risk mitigation measures. In this study, a total of 31 hazards affecting the stability of TBM tunnelling works in urban areas were listed from both the technical literature and correspondence with experts in tunnelling area. The importance and priorities of the hazards were analyzed by conducting Delphi technique, which is a decision-making method by consensus among experts. Finally, 12 hazards that satisfy the content validity criteria were settled and could be used as major control factors for accident prevention during TBM tunnelling works.

In case of a fire in road or railway tunnel it is always necessary to keep the escape condition as good as possible. Most of the victims of major fires in tunnels are because they couldn't leave the tunnel in time and were trapped by smoke, or rescue teams couldn't reach the place of the accident due to low visibility and high temperature. In spring 2003 a comprehensive field experiment was undertaken in a large scaled tunnel in Youngin City to test the effectiveness of a new water spray curtain system, designed to the air qualify inside of a tunnel in case of fire during passenger's escape to safe routes, In order to control the smoke propagation, fixed water sprayed nozzles were used to make water curtain system, which can be installed or hanging water piping line below ceiling. The experiment was accompanied by an extensive measurement campaign in order to measure temperature dropping effect and flow conditions as well as CO concentration for various water sprayed curtains produced by sprinkler heads or water spray nozzle. Eventually comparison analysis were undertaken to investigate the performance of water curtains under fixed water pressure. Therefore most effective water curtain system was presented on the basis of water droplet size in long tunnel.
