교량구조물의 받침 교체 효과 (The Effects on Structures caused by the Replacement of Bridge Bearing)

  • The effects on structures caused by the replacement of the bridge bearings are investigated in this study. The bearings of the bridge are seriously deteriorated because of the breakage of lower concrete and the corrosion of the bearing itself. Also, the negative reaction states are created at some bearings on the abutment. Then, the bridge has occurred excessive vibrations and severe noise and impact whenever heavy trucks pass the above joints. The existing bearings are replaced using the adjustable bearing. The height of the bearings is adjusted to minimize the level difference of above joint and also to induce the appropriate distribution of live loads The effects of replacing the bearings are investigated by measuring the behaviors of the bridge without and with replacing works. The results without replacing the bearing show that the distribution of displacements and stresses is distorted in comparison with the analytical results. Also the bridge without replacing the bearing shows that the impact and vibration from the heavy trucks are larger than those with replacing the bearing. Load carrying capacity of the bridge increase about 1.8 times through replacing the bearing. The above results show that the structural performance of the bridge is improved by replacing only bridge bearings.

선박 항해통신장비 원격유지보수를 위한 데이터베이스 설계 (A Database Design for Remote Maintenance of Navigation and Communication Equipments in a Vessel)

  • SOLAS 선박은 SFI group 코드 기준으로 적어도 83종의 장비를 탑재해야 하고, 각각의 장비는 다시 수 개에서 수십 개의 컴포넌트로 구성이 된다. 선박 운항 중에는 이러한 장비의 정상적인 운영이 보장되어야 하고, 문제 발생시 즉각적인 수리를 위하여 원격유지보수의 요구사항이 높다. 본 연구는 항해통신장비의 원격유지보수에 적합한 장비의 분류체계를 제시하고, 적절한 데이터베이스 구조를 도출하고자 했다. 연구 결과, 선박 항해통신장비의 원격유지보수를 위하여, 장비의 분류체계는 장비의 종류, 모델, 컴포넌트로 계층화되어야 하고, 고장모드와 영향분석, 질의응답, 수리이력, 상태정보와 예방정비 등의 테이블을 장비 모델 기준으로 구축하는 것이 효과적임을 알게 되었다. 140개의 항해통신장비 모델과 750개의 컴포넌트에 대하여 데이터베이스를 구축하였고, 실질적인 효과를 평가하기 위하여 선박장비 수리전문가가 클라우드 앱을 이용하여 검색 결과의 유용성을 평가하였다.

유효성분들을 배합한 치약제의 실험실적 및 임상적 치아미백유지 효과 (Tooth whitening maintenance efficacy of dentifrices containing several active ingredients in vitro and in vivo)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate tooth whitening maintenance efficacy of several dentifrices containing effective ingredients for tooth whitening. Methods: Hydroxyapatite specimens(HAPs) staining was done by using modified Stookey's methods. HAPs were treated with 2.9% hydrogen peroxide containing strip for whitening, and were shaken with several dentifrice slurry(dentifrice 1 : artificial saliva 2) for 30 minutes. The HAPs were finally dipped in staining solution for an hour. Shaking and dipping were repeated 4 times and lightness values were measured by colorimeter at each step. In clinical test, test 4 dentifrice and control dentifrice were evaluated by 21 subjects for 2 months after receiving institutional review board(IRB) approval. Organoleptic(vita shade guide) and instrumental(SHADEEYE-NCC) evaluation were performed for whiteness change of teeth. Statistical analysis was performed using repeated measures ANOVA, Tukey's post hoc test and ${\chi}^2$-test(p<0.05). Results: All dentifrices showed statistical significance in comparison with control dentifrice containing sodium fluoride and test 4 dentifrice containing sodium pyrophosphate, sodium metaphosphate, candelilla wax, and sodium fluoride showed statistical significance in comparison with other dentifrices by inhibiting staining in vitro(p<0.05). In clinical test, test 4 dentifrice showed better effects than control dentifrice in organoleptic and instrumental evaluation in tooth whitening maintenance efficacy(p<0.05). The awareness toward tooth whitening maintenance efficacy for 2 months use showed that test 4 dentifrice was much better than control dentifrice, but did not show statistically significant(p>0.05). Conclusions: Dentifrice containing sodium pyrophosphate, sodium metaphosphate, candelilla wax and sodium fluoride was more effective in keeping teeth white.

불완전 분류식 하수처리구역의 강우에 의한 하수도시설의 침입수/유입수 영향 분석 (Effect of infiltration/inflow by rainfall for sewerage facilities in the area with partially separate sewer system)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of sewerage facilities through I/I analysis by rainfall by selecting areas where storm overflow diverging chamber is remained due to the non-maintenance drainage equipment when the sewerage system was reconstructed as a separate sewer system. Research has shown that wet weather flow(WWF) increased from 106.2% to 154.8% compared to dry weather flow(DWF) in intercepting sewers, and that the WWF increased from 122.4% to 257.6% in comparison to DWF in storm overflow diverging chamber. As a result, owing to storm overflow diverging chamber of partially separate sewer system with untreated tributary of sewage treatment plant, rainfall-derived infiltration/inflow(RDII) has been analyzed 2.7 times higher than the areas without storm overflow diverging chamber. Meanwhile, infiltration quantity of this study area was relatively higher than that of other study areas. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce infiltration quantity through sewer pipe maintenance nearby river. Drainage equipment maintenance should be performed not to operate storm overflow diverging chamber in order to handle the appropriate sewage treatment plant capacity for rainfall because it is also expected that RDII due to rain will occur after maintenance. In conclusion, it is necessary to recognize aRDII(allowance of rainfall-derived infiltration/inflow) and to be reflected it on sewage treatment plant capacity because aRDII can occur even after maintenance to the complete separate sewer system.

A study on Measurement and Improvement of Indoor Air Quality in Dental Clinic

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a management method to maintain the pleasant indoor air quality of the dental clinic by measuring and analyzing the indoor air quality of the dental clinic. The measurement was conducted in two rooms, a lobby where many residents stay in the reception room for waiting for medical treatment, and a VIP room where treatment activities are mainly performed. Measurement items are Temperature, Humidity, $CO_2$, CO, $NO_2$, $CH_2O$, VOC, $PM_{10}$ and measurement were taken on April 27, 2018. As a result of analyzing the temperature and humidity of the dental clinic, it was analyzed that the average indoor temperature was maintained at $25^{\circ}C$ and the humidity was kept at around 50%, maintaining proper indoor temperature and humidity environment. $CO_2$ was 855ppm in the VIP Room, which satisfied the maintenance standard. In the case of the lobby, it was analyzed to be 1,160ppm, which exceeded the maintenance standard and it is judged that the carbon dioxide generated by the respiration of the people staying in the lobby is the main reason. The mean concentration of formaldehyde in the VIP room was analyzed as $436{\mu}g/m^3$, exceeding the maintenance standard, and $2,100{\mu}g/m^3$ for the VOC exceeded the recommended standard. It was analyzed that the concentration was relatively higher due to the use of disinfectant and other drugs. The mean concentration of PM-10 in the lobby was analyzed as $65{\mu}g/m^3$ and it was analyzed that it satisfied the maintenance standard. To maintain a pleasant indoor air quality in a dental clinic it is necessary to minimize the effects of formaldehyde, VOC, $CO_2$ in the VIP rooms and lobby. For this purpose, the entire ventilation system and air purification system of the dental clinic should be installed. In case of the VIP room, local exhaust ventilation should be installed and workers should wear personal protective equipment.

유지에너지 이상의 사료공급이 거세 한우의 영양소 소화율 및 에너지가에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Feeding Levels Above Maintenance Energy on Nutrients Digestibility and Energy Value in Hanwoo Steers)

  • Supplying an appropriate amount of feed is an economical and environmentally friendly by increasing the nutrient digestibility of livestock and reducing nutrients released from overfeeding. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the nutrient digestibility according to dietary feeding levels of Hanwoo steers. Three treatments in feeding trial were used feeding amount based on the maintenance energy level of the Korean feeding standard for Hanwoo (2022): 100% (control, CON), 140% (treatment 1, TRT1), and 190% (treatment 2, TRT2). The experiment was designed in replicate 3×3 balanced Latin square designs using six Hanwoo steers. In this study, energy value was predicted according to treatment groups. In addition, nutrient digestibility and energy value were measured through a feeding trial to Hanwoo steers. All energy values, including total digestible nutrients and digestible energy, were predicted to decrease linearly with increasing feeding levels. TRT2 showed lower digestibility than CON for dry matter, crude protein, non-fiber carbohydrates, and total digestible nutrients in the feeding trial (p<0.05). However, there was no significant difference between CON and TRT1. Total digestible nutrients (TDN) and digestibility of feed are set based on the maintenance energy. However nutrient digestibility and TDN decreased when feeding level increased by more than 190% compared to maintenance energy in this study. Therefore, it is necessary to correct the TDN by considering the feeding level when mixing the feed.

신뢰성 기반의 유지보수를 위한 TRMS S/W개발 (Building TRMS S/W based on Reliability Centered Maintenance)

  • 본 논문에서는 RAM(Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability)과 RCM(Reliability Centered Maintenance) 개념을 기반으로 하는 틸팅 열차 유지보수 시스템(TRMS; Tilting Rolling-stock Maintenance System)의 S/W 구축방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 RCM 개념 및 절차에 대하여 소개하고 TRMS S/W가 어떻게 이러한 개념과 절차를 구현하는지에 관하여 논하였다. TRMS는 네 개의 모듈 즉 시스템 및 운영정보 모듈, FMECA 모듈, RAM 정보 모듈, RCM 분석 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 시스템 및 운영정보 모듈에서는 RCM 분석의 기초 작업인 데이터 수집을 위한 인터페이스가 제공되고, FMECA 모듈에서는 시스템 및 운영정보 모듈의 고장 데이터를 이용하여 고장영향 분석을 할 수 있는 워크 스페이스(workspace)를 제공한다. RAM 모듈에서는 Weibull 분포의 신뢰성과 고장률을 산출하기위한 알고리즘이, RCM 분석모듈에서는 작업주기와 작업비용을 계산하기위한 계산식이 제안되었다. 유지보수 관계자들이 RCM의 장점을 충분히 인식한다면 RCM을 다른 전동차 유지보수 시스템에도 쉽게 적용할 수 있을 것이다.

내화학성 적층보강공법(CRM)을 활용한 콘크리트 구조물의 내구성능 향상 (Improvement of Durability in Concrete Structures Using CRM)

  • 콘크리트는 대표적인 건설재료로서 지난 19세기 후반 이후 각종 구조물의 축조에 활용되고 있다. 콘크리트는 일반적으로 적절한 설계 및 시공 규정을 준수한다면 내구성을 확보하는 것으로 인식되었으나, 구조물의 사용 과정 중에 겪게 되는 각 종 외적 작용으로 인해 수명단축 및 성능저하 현상이 빈번히 나타나고 있으며 더욱이 노후화에 따른 콘크리트 구조물의 성능 저하는 억제할 수 없으며 결국 콘크리트 구조물의 유지관리 측면에서 보수 및 보강은 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 보수 및 보강공법의 성능을 개선하고자 콘크리트 표면의 강화 및 특히 내화학 성능의 향상을 위하여 개발되어진 내화학성적층보강공법 (Chemical Resistance of Laminating Reinforcement Method : CRM)을 적용하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 콘크리트 시험체에 대한 다양한 내구성 시험을 통하여 일반적인 보수 및 보강공법을 적용한 시험체 와의 비교분석을 통하여 결과를 도출하였으며 시험결과, 기존 보수 및 보강공법보다 CRM을 적용한 콘크리트 시험체의 내구성능이 향상되었는데 이는 에폭시계의 내산섬유보강 및 2중의 섬유계의 보강시트로 인한 적층효과로 판단된다.

  • An earthquake of Richter magnitude 4.5 occurred on December 13, 1996 at 1:10 p.m. in Yung-Wol, Kang-Won-Do. Brief investigation on the effects of the earthquake has been performed on December 15 by the reconnaissance team of the Earthquake Engineering Society of Korea. Minor damages were observed in several structures including two elementary schools and two municipal office buildings. Most of the damages on R.C. beams is believed to be existing ones due to poor construction and maintenance of the structures those have been increased by the earthquake.

고성능 뷰 관리르 지원하는 새로운 데이터 웨어하우징 시스템 구조 (A New Data Warehousing System Architecture Supporting High Performance View Maintenance)

  • 의사결정 시스템은 전사적인 의사결정과 전략적 정보수집을 위해 거대한 량의 정보를 빠른 시간내에 제공할 것을 요구한다. 데이타 웨어하우스는 이러한 정보를 신속히 제공하기 위해 여러 지역 데이타베이스로부터 필요한 정보를 사전에 추출하고 가공 및 통합하여 별도의 저장공간에 저장한다. 일반적으로, 웨어하우스 내의 정보는 지역 데이타베이스에 저장된 정보에 대한 실체화된 뷰로서 간주하며 지역 데이타의 변경에 따라 일관성을 유지하도록 반영해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 일관성을 유지하기 위해 정보 공유가 가능한 데이타 웨어하우스 시스템의 구조와 비-보상 실체 뷰 관리 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 데이타 웨어하우스 시스템의 구조는 지역 데이타베이스에서 추출된 정보를 관리하는 별도의 지역 정보 관리자를 두어 뷰 관리자들 간의 정보 공유가 가능하게 한다. 비-보상 실체 뷰 관리 기법은 지역 데이타 변경 사건에 따른 뷰 관리 시 다른 사건에 의해 영향을 받지 않도록 하기 때문에 기본의 사전 보상이나 나중 보상 기법과는 달리 추가적인 질의 처리를 요구하지 않는 기법이다.Abstract A decision support system(DSS) commonly requires fast access to tremendous volume of information. A data warehouse is a database storing the information that is extracted, filtered and integrated from several relevant local databases to reply upon aggregated queries. The information stored in the data warehouse can be regarded as materialized views. The materialized view has to be modified according to the change of the corresponding local databases to preserve the data consistency. In this paper, we propose a data warehousing system architecture allowing information sharing (DAWINS), and a non-compensating materialized view maintenance algorithm(NCA). DAWINS architecture allows relevant information to be shared by individual view managers with local data manager for each local database. Unlikely to the pre- or post-compensating algorithms, which are required to remove the effects of some events to other view in the process of view maintenance, NCA does not require any additional query processing, since a local data manager in DAWINS already maintains the effects of update events occurring in local systems.
