  • Port structures are one of the important infrastructure of the nation. To ensure safety and extend lifetime of the existing port structures, it is necessary to develop proper maintenance program. In this study, port inspection manual for pier type structure are developed. The flow of inspection program is designed and defect type for each component of wharf is classified. Also systematic method of rating and evaluation is developed together with conceptual design of port maintenance data base system.

  • The government conducted an aviation expert training project in 2013. But unfortunately, only pilots and international experts were targeted and aircraft maintenance engineers that are the most important to safety were not trainee to the training courses. More importantly, the more the absolute number of aircrafts increases, the more demand for aircraft maintenance engineers are going up as well. Through the evaluation indicators for the Government-Sponsored Program Fostering Aviation Personnel(aircraft maintenance engineers). it figured out factors associated with the Government-Sponsored Program Fostering Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and it suggested a baseline data necessary to inspect and manage professional training institutions. Thanks to the development of the evaluation indicators, it is highly expected that difference among institutions will be narrowed, elevated level of management of the institutions will help foster and yield satisfactory aircraft maintenance engineers.

발전기 예방정비계획 전산화모형 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Generator Maintenance Scheduling Program Package)

  • This paper describes development of a package for generator maintenance scheduling program with user-friendly interactive mode. Generator maintenance scheduling is to select desirable maintenance periods of generators in the given interval satisfying reliability or economic criteria. Window-based system for user-friendly mode and Oracle-based database system for efficient data management are established in our package. Reserve rate levelization and LOLP minimization are performed in calculation mode, which is composed of DLL programs. Many graphs and charts are illustrated for the user-analysis. Operation is carried out by day-based unit, not by week. The case study has been conducted with the data of practical KEPCO power system in 1999 and successfully demonstrated its effectiveness.

  • 지자체에서 관리하는 교량에 대해서 과학적이고 체계적인 유지관리 표준안과 정량화된 데이터기반을 통한 예산확보 및 집행의 과학화를 위해 지자체관리용 교량 유지관리시스템이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구는 지자체에서 유지관리하고 있는 소규모 교량의 효율적인 관리를 위한 시스템 개발을 목표로 하며 BIM/GIS기술 등의 ICT융합기술을 사용하였다. 시스템개발의 세부내용으로는 모바일 기기용 소규모 교량 유지관리 프로그램 개발, 소규모 교량 유지관리 데이터베이스 개발, 소규모 교량 통합유지관리 개발이며 지자체에서 관리하는 소규모 교량의 테스트베드 구축 및 운영내용을 확인하여 개발한 프로그램 시스템의 신뢰성을 얻었다. 개발된 프로그램 시스템을 무전원방식의 교량 스마트 명판제작 및 Reader모듈 개발로 연계하였다.

KASS 유지보수 정의 및 절차 개발 (Development of maintenance concept and procedures for KASS)

  • KASS (korea augmentation satellite system)는 국제민간항공기구 (ICAO; international civil aviation organization)의 항공통신 관련 국제표준권고 (SARPs Annex 10)에 따른 항공용 서비스 성능이 보장되어야 하는 한국형 SBAS (satellite based augmentation system) 이다. 목표 서비스 성능의 보장을 위해서는 운영 시스템이 안정적으로 동작하고 유지, 관리되어야 하며 이를 위해 유지보수 체계가 확립되어야 한다. 유지보수 관점에서 KASS 하위시스템을 교체유닛 단위로 정의하고 유지보수 조직, 유지보수 절차를 정의하였다. 또한, 유지보수 수행을 위한 교체유닛 단위의 유지보수 임무를 산출하였으며 산출된 임무가 앞서 정의된 교체유닛 단위를 충분히 포괄하는지 검증하였다. 본 연구를 통해 산출된 유지보수 임무는 2023년 말 본격적인 항공용 서비스 제공 전, 실 운영 준비과정에서 검증될 것이며 지속해서 업데이트될 것이다.

  • 국내 가동중 원전은 발전소 안전성 및 신뢰성을 향상시킬 목적으로 정비효과감시 프로그램(정비규정)을 개발하여 2009년부터 이행 중에 있다. 정비효과감시 프로그램은 발전소 전 계통을 기능단위로 분류한 후 관리대상 선정, 안전중요도 결정 및 성능기준 수립을 통해 발전설비의 정비효과를 감시하는 프로그램이며, NUMARC 93-01 방법론을 기반으로 발전소별 고유 설계특성을 반영하여 개발하고 있다. 최근 건설 중인 APR1400형 원전도 운영초기 단계부터 정비체계 정착을 목적으로 안전관련계통 정비효과감시 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 향후 초기 성능평가를 통해 프로그램의 적합성을 검증할 예정이다. 결과적으로 고유 설계특성을 반영하여 개발한 정비효과감시 프로그램의 이행을 통해 APR1400형 원전의 안전성 및 신뢰성이 향상될 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper introduces KTX RCM(Reliability-Centered Maintenance) project which is for development of a decision making support system on the KTX maintenance framework. The functionality of the system is composed of ( i ) Fundamental Data Management, ( ⅱ ) Maintenance Goal Management, ( ⅲ ) Maintenance Program Management, ( ⅳ ) Cost-Effect Analysis, ( v ) Parameter Management. This system may improve existing maintenance Management procedure for rolling stock of KNR.

투입노력 양에 기반한 소프트웨어 유지보수 비용산정 모형 (A Software Maintenance Cost Estimation Model based on Real Maintenance Efforts)

  • The cost of software maintenance occupies about two thirds in the software lifecycle. However, it is not easy to estimate the cost of software maintenance because of various viewpoints about software maintenance, unclear estimation methods, and complex procedures. Until now, the cost estimation model has used compensation factors for software characteristic and environment on the basis of program size. Especially, most of existing models use maintenance rate of total software cost as a main variable. This paper suggests the software maintenance cost estimation model that uses the result of calculating real maintenance efforts. In this paper, we classify functional maintenance and non-functional maintenance as software maintenance activity type. For functional maintenance, present function point of target software is needed to evaluate. The suggested maintenance cost evaluation model is applied to a software case in public sector. This paper discusses some differences between our model and other modes.

Probabilistic-based prediction of lifetime performance of RC bridges subject to maintenance interventions

  • In this paper, a probabilistic- and finite element-based approach to evaluate and predict the lifetime performance of reinforced concrete (RC) bridges undergoing various maintenance actions is proposed with the time-variant system reliability being utilized as a performance indicator. Depending on their structural state during the degradation process, the classical maintenance actions for RC bridges are firstly categorized into four types: Preventive type I, Preventive type II, Strengthening and Replacement. Preventive type I is used to delay the onset of steel corrosion, Preventive type II can suppress the corrosion process of reinforcing steel, Strengthening is the application of various maintenance materials to improve the structural performance and Replacement is performed to restore the individual components or overall structure to their original conditions. The quantitative influence of these maintenance types on structural performance is investigated and the respective analysis modules are written and inputted into the computer program. Accordingly, the time-variant system reliability can be calculated by the use of Monte Carlo simulations and the updated the program. Finally, an existing RC continuous bridge located in Shanghai, China, is used as an illustrative example and the lifetime structural performance with and without each of the maintenance types are discussed. It is felt that the proposed approach can be applied to various RC bridges with different structural configurations, construction methods and environmental conditions.

Ada 프로그램에서 패키지 활용의 국부화 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on Localization Model of Package Usage in Ada Program)

  • Software system is a hierarchical structure with collection of program units. Software system can import external packages globally or locally depending on the usage within a system. If the imported package is used globally, the soft-ware system can be influenced globally by any change of package and programmer's debugging time for the program maintenance will be greater. To solve these problems, it is desirable to use the imported package locally right on the usage point within the system. The model presented in this paper analyzed entity usage of package in structure of program, identified the usage level to obtain localization and provided information for restructure of the program to localize package usage. To obtain localization, it identified declared entities inside the imported package and analyzed the specification and body part of program unit to identify entities referenced from the imported package. The proposed model can be used to improve the maintainability of software system and contributed to reduction of programmer's debugging time in program maintenance.
