마찰진자를 이용한 면진장치의 원전 주 제어실 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of Friction Pendulum System in Main Control Room of Nuclear Power Plant)

  • 원전 주 제어실에 마찰진자 베어링을 이용한 면진시스템을 적용하기 위한 해석 및 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 마찰진자 베어링을 제작하였으며 동적 물성치 시험을 통하여 이의 성능을 평가하였다. 강재 격자 바닥판, 캐비넷, 4개의 마찰진자로 구성된 주제어실의 부분 면진시스템 모형을 제작하고 진동시험대 실험을 수행함으로써 마찰진자 시스템의 원전 적용성을 평가하였다. 진동대 실험에서는 원전 스펙트럼을 이용한 인공지진파를 사용하였으며 마찰진자 위치 점의 층응답 스펙트럼의 변화를 통하여 면진 성능을 평가하였다. 향후 실험을 통하여 구현하기 어려운 실험변수의 영향을 검토하기 위하여 수치해석 모형을 작성하여 실험 결과 비교 검증하였다.

  • An experimental study is performed to investigate the frequency effects of the excitation force on the linear stiffness and damping coefficients of a LOP (load on pad) type five-pad tilting pad journal bearing with the diameter of 300.91 mm and the length of 149.80 mm. The main parameter of interest in the present work is excitation frequency to shake the test bearing. The excitation frequency is controlled independently, using orthogonally mounted hydraulic exciters. The relative movement between the bearing and shaft, and the acceleration of the bearing casing are measured as a function of excitation frequency using the different values of bearing load and shaft speed. Measurements show that the variation of excitation frequency has quite a little effect on both stiffness and damping coefficients. Both direct stiffness and damping coefficients in the direction of bearing load decrease by the increase of shaft speed, but increase with the bearing load.

  • 선박이 고출력화, 초대형화 됨에 따라 대형저속 2행정 엔진을 탑재한 선박에서 축계배치의 잘못에 기인하는 주기관 선미측 베어링과, 선미관 후부 베어링의 손상이 증가하는 경향이 있다. 또한 고출력화에 의한 추진축의 강성은 증가한 반면에 선체는 고장력 후판을 사용하므로 이전의 선체보다 훨씬 더 쉽게 변형하는 실정이다. 이는 기존의 선박보다 더욱 정교한 축계배치가 요구됨을 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 열팽창 효과, 감도지수를 이용한 중간축 베어링의 최적위치 선정 및 베어링의 강성을 고려하여, 베어링의 하중 분석 및 영향 계수를 분석함으로서 축계 배치가 이론적으로 최적이 되는 것을 검토하였다. 이를 위하여 축계 배치 계산시 대형 엔진 제조사의 엔진 거치기준을 참조하고, 한국선급 및 DnV 선급의 축계 배치 프로그램을 이용하여 검토하고 그 신뢰성을 검증하였다.

  • Wind power is a type of clean energy source which does not produce carbon dioxide. The wind turbine industry is considered as a major growth industry in many countries. The main cause of wind turbine failure arises in the wind turbine gearbox, and the main type of damage occurs in the bearings and gears. Therefore, predictions of gear and bearing damage are very important to ensure the reliability of the wind turbine reducers used in these systems. In this research, in order to optimize the wind turbine reducer, a series of simulations and redesigns was done using the tool RomaxDesigner. The RomaxDesigner model was used to analyze the bearing life of the duty cycle for a 5 MW wind-turbine pitch drive and to calculate the load in operating states. The reducer was designed to satisfy the life requirement by analyzing bearing damage and calculating the stress values of the main parts of the reducer.

  • The performance of the ultra-precision machine tools depends on the steady state characteristics of the main spindle bearings. For excluding the effect of machining error with perpendicularity, conical or spherical bearing has been used. In this paper, steady analysis of the externally pressurized conical gas bearing for ultraprecision is carried out based on the direct numerical method with assumption of point source. As a result of theoretical analysis, design parameters for optimal condition of conical gas bearing are' presented in dimensionless form.

  • For excluding the effect of machining error such as perpendicularity, conical and spherical bearing has been used. In this paper, dynamic characteristics of the externally pressurized conical gas bearing for untraprecision main spindle is carried out based on the direct numerical method with assumption of point source. As a result of theoretical analysis, it is verified that coupled stiffness and damping exist and new design parameters for optimal condition of conical gas bearing are presented in dimensionless form.

  • This paper presents the development of a collocated capacitance sensor and its application to the decentralized PID controller design for 4-axis magnetic bearing system. The main feature of the sensor is that it is made of a compact printed circuit board (PCB) so that it can be built in to the actuator coil of the magnetic bearing unit. The signal processing unit has been also developed. Then, decentralized PED controller is designed using simplified rotor system model. Finally, the experimental results on the performance of the collocated sensor based decentralized PID controller for a magnetic bearing rotor system is presented.

  • Recently rotating machines have became high speed and high Power and light weight. Bearings are one of the main components which influence power loss and stability of rotating machines. Appropriate bearing should be selected with considering characteristics of rotating machine. Floating ring journal bearing(FIB) consists of an inner film and outer film, and possess high damping and stability. FJB has been for adopted into turbocharger for the high stability at high operating speed. (omitted)

공기 베어링 스핀들을 애용한 PCB 드릴링에 관한 연구 (A Study on the PCB(Printed Circuit Board) Drilling by Air Bearing Spindle)

  • This paper describes the PCB drilling using an ultra high-speed air bearing spindle system and micro drill. For this research, we have developed the ultra high-speed air bearing spindle of 125,000 rpm and made an experiment for the application possibility in the PCB drilling. In order to estimate the drilling performance, we have investigated the size and damage of drilled hole, and the wear of drill at 90,000rpm. Results are as follows; we have confirmed the possibility in the PCB drilling of air bearing spindle. In case of micro-drilling PCB at $0.1mm\sim0.3mm$, the increase in the number of drilling has resulted in a bigger size of holes and also a bigger size of damage. It has been found that the wear of micro drill tends to concentrate in the main cutting edge.
