Rubus hongnoensis Nakai, Korean endemic species were reexamined on the basis of morphological characters. Both sides of leaves are pubscent and particularly glandular hairs are present on main vein. All parts except petals and stems are hairy. Petioles and stem have prickles. Leaflets are 3-7. Fruits is red.

More than 2,000 different chinese characters are used daily in Korea newspapers and publications. The large repertoire of character pattern are the main difficulties when machine recognition of chinese characters is concerned. The goal of this paper is to conceive, evaluate and refine techniques for high performance Chinese character recognition. A new character classifier was being developed using prototype creation method.

Let $F^{\alpha}G$ be a twisted group algebra with basis ${{\mu}g|g\;{\in}\;G}$ and $P\;=\;{C_g|g\;{\in}\;G}$ be a partition of G. A projective class algebra associated with P is a subalgebra of $F^{\alpha}G$ generated by all class sums $\sum\limits{_{x{\in}C_g}}\;{\mu}_x$. A main object of the paper is to find interrelationships of projective class algebras in $F^{\alpha}G$ and in $F^{\alpha}H$ for H < G. And the a-spherical function will play an important role for the purpose. We find functional properties of a-spherical functions and investigate roles of $\alpha-spherical$ functions as characters of projective class algebras.

Arabic handwriting segmentation and recognition is an area of research that has not yet been fully understood. Dealing with Arabic ligature segmentation, where the Arabic characters are connected and unconstrained naturally, is one of the fundamental problems when dealing with the Arabic script. Arabic character-recognition techniques consider ligatures as new classes in addition to the classes of the Arabic characters. This paper introduces an enhanced technique for Arabic handwriting recognition using the deep belief network (DBN) and a new morphological algorithm for ligature segmentation. There are two main stages for the implementation of this technique. The first stage involves an enhanced technique of the Sari segmentation algorithm, where a new ligature segmentation algorithm is developed. The second stage involves the Arabic character recognition using DBNs and support vector machines (SVMs). The two stages are tested on the IFN/ENIT and HACDB databases, and the results obtained proved the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm compared with other existing systems.

If 《Bailuyuan》 is a piece that reflects the trend of changing Chinese contemporary literature after the 1990 reform and the opening up of socialism, 《Taebaek Mountain》 is a literary masterpiece that shows the peak of the people and coincided with subject controversy in the 1980s. These two pieces of literature were based on a common experience swayed by the encroachment of Japanese imperialism, and they became best sellers in Korean and Chinese literary circles in the 1980s and 1990s. Based on their similarities, this paper focused on and took a closer look at character modeling in the two texts. In these books, the investigators also discuss how the main characters of Bailuyuan and Taebaek Mountain are portrayed, and how this portrayal strategically works to realize the theme of the text as well as the literary significance, value, and expected effects of the comparison between these two pieces of literary work.

Eleven inbred lines of silkworm, Bombyx mori L. were exposed to two main different temperature (23C and 25C) during the larval period in order to elucidate the effect of the temperature differences on their main characters under the, prevailing in Egyptial agro-climactic conditions. The results show that the temperature differences did not affect significantly the pupation ratio and cocoon shell ratio. However, they affected their larval duration to become shorter with the high temperature treatment ($27^{\circ}C$) and their cocoon shell weight and cocoon yield per box of silkworm eggs to be higher in the lower temperature($23^{\circ}C$). It was recommended that some inbred lines should be bred at the 23C throughout the whole larval period, particularly in being reared with high nutritional leaves in order to maximize the hybridization of cocoon yields.

The article compares the women's portrayal between Korean family drama and Chinese family drama. The two dramas are Korean family drama 'the Golden Days of Daughter-in-law ' and Chinese family drama 'the Beautiful Days of Daughter-in-law'. There are many ways to see dramas but dramas are the basement which express the society and the culture in that country, and here the women's portrayal is the main theme. The article follows steps: first, through the dramatic episode of two dramas, show the characters of main images. And through the main characters analyze the reared culture and show the same points and differences between the two chosen episodes. As a result of the women's portrayal analysis through the sex-role model, there were some differences between two dramas : new generation of Korean daughter-in-law tend to be very independent and they make effort to develop themselves even though they got married ; for Chinese daughter-in-law, very dependent, family is prior to everything without opportunity of self-development.

These studies were carried out to select the active grow hairy root lines induced from various ginseng(Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer) parts. Hairy roots were induced in root explants, stem and petiole in vitro by A. rhizogenes R1000 or A. rhizogenes $A_4$. These hairy roots could be grown on the phytohormone free medium, and PCR analysis of rol C and vir C gene fragments confirmed that hairy roots were transgenic tissues. We have selected 11 hairy root lines with active growing characters among 300 hairy root lines selected based on growth and morphological characteristics on 1/2MS solid media with 250 mg/L carbenicillin. Morphological characteristics of selected 11 hairy root lines were thickness and thiness of main roots, and many projection for lateral roots, active grow of lateral roots. Among selected 11 hair root lines prominent characteristics of hairy roots with active growing characters were thiness of main roots and active grow of lateral roots. But characteristics of low growing hairy roots were thickness of main roots and low grow of lateral roots. Finally we have selected actively growing hairy roots, KGHR-1, KGHR-5, KGHR-8 among 11 hairy root lines.

It is different from the previous Lee Chang-dong's film in that it provides the main character's perception and feelings about the world as the ultimate cause of the protagonist's actions. Lee Chang-dong's characters begin to change from . The main character of Burning goes one step further. He seems to believe that the main character's only weapon to overcome the logic and constraints of reality is obsessive and compulsive behaviors. Unlike previous movies, the character in Burning is a person who practices awareness and proves his character through action. I will analyze characters in to suggest the change of film form. Especially I will look at how the character's actions and the writer's own voice can meet and what results it bring about in this movie. It will lead to his changes in film form and an idea on the young people in Korean society today.
