흡인식 자기부상 시스템의 외란관측자를 이용한 최소전력 부상제어 (Zero Power Control for an Attraction Type Magnetic Levitation System using Disturbance Observer)

  • 본 논문에서는 자기부상 시스템에서 널리 채용되고 있는 흡인식 자기부상 시스템의 제어특성을 개선하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 흡인식 자기부상 시스템은 그 특성 상 제어계의 불안정성을 내재하고 있기 때문에 일반적으로 산업현장에서 널리 사용되는 비례적분제어방식(PI)이 아닌 비례적분미분제어방식(PID)을 이용하여 제어 시스템을 구성한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 PID 제어방식의 제어특성을 개선하기 위하여 외란관측자를 이용한 제어기를 제안 하였으며 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 그 특성을 확인하였다.

  • 자기부상열차는 초기부상에서 정상상태에 이르는 짧은 시간동안 전류변화가 매우 큰 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 안정적으로 제어하기 위해서 다중루프제어를 적용하였다. 제어기가 포함된 전체시스템에 상태방정식의 특성방정식을 구하여 원하는 특성의 제어이득을 쉽게 구할 수 있도록, Bessel function 원형모델을 도입하여 극점을 설정하였다. 설정된 극점을 바탕으로 제어기를 구성하고, 시스템의 특성방정식을 구하여 계수비교 함으로써, 시스템의 안정된 제어 특성을 확인하였다.

  • Due to the lack of stiffness and difficulties of control, it is hard to achieve well balanced magnetic levitation. In this paper, we analysis the current and position stiffness change according to bias current through experiment. Then, compensation equations were presented. After obtaining PD gain for each bias current and PD gain region through levitation experiment, we consider the characteristics.

  • In this paper, a rail-vibration controller of magnetic levitation system is designed and implemented. The target plant to be controlled is electro-magnetic type which is open-loop unstable, highly non-linear and time-varying system. The designed controller is validated by some kinds of experiments.

  • In this paper, a design of lossless hybrid-type magnetic levitation system is presented. The lossless hybrid-type system is implemented by a permanent-magnet and electro-magnetic system. The target plant consists of eight hybrid-type magnets and at steady-state, no current is needed to support the load. The design procedure is described and the results of this work are shown.

  • In this paper, an electromagnet which is used in maglev(magnetic levitation) clean lift is designed and described. The electromagnet is firstly designed by using FEM(finite element method) tool and the simulation results are presented. The nominal airgap is 5mm and the nominal current is 2A. Also, the nominal magnetic force is 200N. From the results, we can get the electromagnet as an actuator used in maglev(magnetic levitation) clean lift for LCD process.

  • To cope with stringent performance targets requested in many fields spanning the whole range of industry, the driver is necessary to realize large dynamic range as well as nano resolution, manipulate the mover orientation without additional driver, and be suitable for clean environment. As one of those purposes, authors have developed the planar precision stages with the integrated operating principle of levitation and propel. In this paper, we discuss potential of magnetic suspension technology by comparing various features of non-contact planar stages, that is, repulsive type of surface actuator and attractive type of surface actuator.

  • This paper introduced the scheme that it improved performance of magnetic levitation system with zero power controller. Magnetic levitation is used widely, but it is complicated and difficult to control due to having nonlinear characteristics of gap and current. So, it is proposed a scheme considered changed gap according to variable load and is verified by simulation and experiments in this paper.

  • In this paper, an optimal design of hybrid magnetic levitation(Maglev) system using intelligent optimization algorithms is proposed. The proposed maglev system adopts hybrid suspension system with permanent-magnet(PM) and electro magnet(EM) to reduce the suspension power loss and the teaching-learning based optimization(TLBO) that can overcome the drawbacks of conventional intelligent optimization algorithm is used. To obtain the mathematical model of hybrid suspension system, the magnetic equivalent circuit including leakage fluxes are used. Also, design restrictions such as cross section areas of PM and EM, the maximum length of PM, magnetic force are considered to choose the optimal parameters by intelligent optimization algorithm. To meet desired suspension power and lower power loss, the multi object function is proposed. To verify the proposed object function and intelligent optimization algorithms, we analyze the performance using the mean value and standard error of 10 simulation results. The simulation results show that the proposed method is more effective than conventional optimization methods.

부상제어 시스템에서 유연레일의 특성 분석 (Characteristics Analysis of Flexible Rail in Levitation Control System)

  • In this parer, characteristics of the flexible rail in levitation control system are analysed. The magnetic levitation system is an electromagnet type and is full-scaled vehicles. The system consists of electromagnet, chopper, flexible rail, secondary suspension system and levitation controller. The mathematical modelling for the whole system is carried out. Especially, the flexible rail is modelled using second-order mass-spring-damper system. Using the derived model, the dynamic characteristics for the system are presented with different vehicle speed.
