Recently, It has been reported that the spin sprayed ferite film shows better magnetic properties at high frequeny that the ferrite by co-firing over $800^{\circ}C$ . Besides, there is no limitation to select the substrate materials because it can be processed with relatively low temperature below $100^{\circ}C$. Therefore, we fabricated film inductor as a passive device for DC-DC converter by a use of spin sprayed embedded form was completed by via hole process of pad opening. Saturation magnetization of 0.61 T and real part of permeability of 110 were obtained in Ni-Zn ferrite. In addition, inductance of 1.52 ${\mu}H$, quality factor of 24.3 at 5 MHz were measured with spiral 16 turn inductor. The rated current of inductor was 863 mA.
The samples of $Ba_2CoZnFe_{12}O_{22}$ was synthesized by the solid-state reaction method. The toroids of $Ba_2CoZnFe_{12}O_{22}$ were sintered with various sintering temperature at 1050, 1100, 1150, and $1200^{\circ}C$, and studied by x-ray diffractometer, vibrating sample magnetometer, network analyzer, and Mssbauer spectrometer. From the XRD patterns, the density of samples increased with increasing sintering temperature. From the magnetic hysteresis curves up to 10 kOe at 295 K, the saturation magnetization ($M_s$) of $Ba_2CoZnFe_{12}O_{22}$ samples in various sintered at 1050, 1100, 1150 ,and $1200^{\circ}C$ were showed around $M_s$= 33.0 emu/g. However, With increasing sintering temperature, the coercivity ($H_c$) of samples decrease. Complex permeability and permittivity of samples in various sintering temperatures were measured between 100MHz to 4 GHz. With increasing sintering temperature, the permeability of samples increase.
$Y_{2.5}La_{0.5}Fe_5O_{12}$ is fabricated by a sol-gel method and the magnetic properties of single phase garnet are investigated by using X-ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometer, scanning electron microscopy and M$\"{o}$ssbauer spectroscopy. The single phase powders garnet was fired at 100$0^{\circ}C$ for 8 hours. The crystal structures of samples are cubic garnet. Mossbauer spectroscopy were measured from 13 K to 750 K. M$\"{o}$ssbauer spectra show that the iron exist ferric trivalence in sample. The spin wave constants were determined $B_{3/2}=0.32{\pm}0.05,\; C_{5/2}=0.18{\pm}0.05$ and Debye temperature were determined 382 K at 24(d) site and 246 K at 16(a)-site. The saturation magnetization $M_s$ of powder is 25 emu/g. 25 emu/g.

The flow characteristics of R-134a in a small diameter tube was investigated experimentally. An experimental apparatus was consisted of a magnetic gear pump, an evaporator, a sight-glass, a condenser and a measurement instruments. The sight-glass for flow pattern observations was located at the inlet and outlet of the evaporator. The experiment was carried out to show the flow characteristics of R-134a in a small diameter tube. Mass flux of refrigerants was ranged from 100 to 1000 $kg/m^2s$, the saturation temperature was $30^{\circ}C$. In the flow patterns during evaporation, the annular flow in a 2 mm inner diameter tube occurred at a relatively lower quality and mass velocity, compared to that in a 8 mm inner diameter tube. The evaporation flow pattern in a small diameter tube has been shown major deviations with the Baker, Mandhane and Taitel-Dutler's flow pattern maps but it was similar to the Dobson's flow pattern map.
Inflammatory reactions activated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) of gram-negative bacteria can lead to severe septic shock. With the recent emergence of multidrug-resistant gram-negative bacteria and a lack of efficient ways to treat resulting infections, there is a need to develop novel anti-endotoxin agents. Antimicrobial peptides have been noticed as potential therapeutic molecules for bacterial infection and as candidates for new antibiotic drugs. We previously designed the 9-meric antimicrobial peptide Pro9-3 and it showed high antimicrobial activity against gram-negative bacteria. Here, to further examine its potency as an anti-endotoxin agent, we examined the anti-endotoxin activities of Pro9-3 and elucidated its mechanism of action. We performed a dye-leakage experiment and BODIPY-TR cadaverine and limulus amebocyte lysate assays for Pro9-3 as well as its lysine-substituted analogue and their enantiomers. The results confirmed that Pro9-3 targets the bacterial membrane and the arginine residues play key roles in its antimicrobial activity. Pro9-3 showed excellent LPS-neutralizing activity and LPS-binding properties, which were superior to those of other peptides. Saturation transfer difference-nuclear magnetic resonance experiments to explore the interaction between LPS and Pro9-3 revealed that Trp3 and Tlr7 in Pro9-3 are critical for attracting Pro9-3 to the LPS in the gram-negative bacterial membrane. Moreover, the anti-septic effect of Pro9-3 in vivo was investigated using an LPS-induced endotoxemia mouse model, demonstrating its dual activities: antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria and immunosuppressive effect preventing LPS-induced endotoxemia. Collectively, these results confirmed the therapeutic potential of Pro9-3 against infection of gram-negative bacteria.

The following recommendations are presented herein: All trauma patients admitted to the resuscitation room should be constantly (or periodically) monitored for parameters such as blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, body temperature, electrocardiography, Glasgow Coma Scale, and pupil reflex (1C). Chest AP and pelvic AP should be performed as the standard initial trauma series for severe trauma patients (1B). In patients with severe hemodynamically unstable trauma, it is recommended to perform extended focused assessment with sonography for trauma (eFAST) as an initial examination (1B). In hemodynamically stable trauma patients, eFAST can be considered as the initial examination (2B). For the diagnosis of suspected head trauma patients, brain computed tomography (CT) should be performed as an initial examination (1B). Cervical spine CT should be performed as an initial imaging test for patients with suspected cervical spine injury (1C). It is not necessary to perform chest CT as an initial examination in all patients with suspected chest injury, but in cases of suspected vascular injury in patients with thoracic or high-energy damage due to the mechanism of injury, chest CT can be considered for patients in a hemodynamically stable condition (2B). CT of the abdomen is recommended for patients suspected of abdominal trauma with stable vital signs (1B). CT of the abdomen should be considered for suspected pelvic trauma patients with stable vital signs (2B). Whole-body CT can be considered in patients with suspicion of severe trauma with stable vital signs (2B). Magnetic resonance imaging can be considered in hemodynamically stable trauma patients with suspected spinal cord injuries (2B).

Multiferroics exhibiting the coexistence and a possible coupling of ferromagnetic and ferroelectric order are attracting widespread interest in terms of academic interests and possible applications. However, room-temperature single-phase multiferroics with soft ferromagnetic and displacive ferroelectric properties are still rare owing to the contradiction in the origin of ferromagnetism and ferroelectricity. In this study, we demonstrated that sizable ferromagnetic properties are induced in the ferroelectric bismuth ferrite-barium titanate system simply by introducing Co ions into the A-site. It is noted that all modified compositions exhibit well-saturated magnetic hysteresis loops at room temperature. Especially, 70Bi0.95Co0.05FeO3-30Ba0.95Co0.05TiO3 manifests noticeable ferroelectric and ferromagnetic properties; the spontaneous polarization and the saturation magnetization are 42 µC/cm2 and 3.6 emu/g, respectively. We expect that our methodology will be widely used in the development of perovskite-structured multiferroic oxides.

Purpose : To introduce and demonstrate the advantages of the new hybrid two-dimensional (2D) proton spectroscopic imaging (SI) over the single voxel spectroscopy (SVS) and conventional 2D SI in the clinical application of spectroscopy for pediatric cerebral disease. Materials and Methods : Eighty-one hybrid 2D proton spectroscopic imaging was performed in 79 children (36 normal infants and children, 10 with hypoxic-ischemic injury, 20 with toxic-metabolic encephalopathy, seven with brain tumor, three with meningoencephalitis, one with neurofibromatosis, one with Sturge-Weber syndrome and one with lissencephaly) ranging in age from the third day of life to 15 years. In adult volunteers (n=5), all three techniques including hybrid 2D proton SI, SVS using PRESS sequence, and conventional 2D proton SI were performed. Both hybrid 2D proton SI and SVS using PRESS sequence were performed in clinical cases (n=). All measurements were performed with a 1.5-T scanner using standard head quadrature coil. The 16$\times$16 phase encoding steps were set on variable field of view (FOV) depending on the size of the brain. The hybrid volume of interest inside FOV was set as $75{\times}75{\times}15{\;}\textrm{mm}^3$ or smaller to get rid of unwanted fat signal. Point-resolved spectroscopy (TR/TE=1,500 msec/135 or 270msec) was employed with standard chemical shift selective saturation (CHESSI pulses for water suppression. The acquisition time and spectral quality of hybrid 2D proton SI were compared with those of SVS and conventional 2D proton SI. Results : The hybrid 2D proton SI was successfully conducted upon all patients.
Compounds of $Y_{3-x}Ce_{x}Fe{5}O_{12}$(x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3) were prepared using the sol-gel method. The XRD measurements show that these samples have only a single phase of the garnet structure regardless of the amount of Ce substitution. The lattice constants of x = 0.0 and x = 0.3 were found to be a$_0$ = 12.3758 ${\pm}$0.0005 ${\AA}$ and 12.4062 ${\pm}$0.0005 ${\AA}$, respectively. The lattice constant increases linearly with increasing Ce concentration. The saturation magnetization was not changed flirty, with increasing Ce concentration, but coercivity decreased form 18.3 Oe to 5.8 Oe as x increased form x = 0.0 to x = 0.1. Mossbauer spectra of $Y_{3-x}Ce_{x}Fe{5}O_{12}$ were measured at various absorber temperatures from 13 K to Neel temperature. The Mossbauer spectra were fitted by least-squares technique with two subpatterns of Fe sites in the structure and corresponding to the 16a and 24d site. The temperature dependence of the magnetic hyperfine field in $^{57}$/Fe nuclei at the tetrahedral 240 and octahedral 16a sites were analyzed based on the Neel theory of ferrirnagnetism. The result of the Debye temperatures indicated that the inter-atomic binding force for the 24d site was larger than that for the 16a site.
In this study, crystal structures and magnetic properties of as-ast, annealed and rapidly solidified Mn-A1-M( M=Cu, Fe) alloys have been investigated. In $Mn_{0.56}Al_{0.44}$ alloys, the largest fraction of $\tau$ phase and values of magnetic properties was obtained in Mnl, i6Alo or alloy. And this alloy was used as the basic composition. In $Mn_{0.56-X}M_{X}Al_{0.44}$ alloys, when annealed, $\tau$- and $\beta$-Mn phase appeared at x< 0.08, $\tau$- and $\kappa$ phase at 0.10 $\leq x \leq$ 0.12 and $\kappa$- phase only at 0.15 $\leq x \leq$0.20 . When rapidly solidified, specimens showed similar phases as when annealed except that $\varepsilon$ phase appeared at x=0.04. In Mnu FexAlo 44 alloys, asyast specimens showed $\tau$-, $\beta$-Mn and $\gamma_2$- phase at x<0.08 and K and $\beta$-Mn phase at x>0.10. When rapidly solidified, Mn-Fe-Al specimens showed $\varepsilon$-, $\gamma_2$- and small amount of $\tau$- and $\kappa$ phase at x<0.08 and $\kappa$- phase only at 0.$\leq x \leq$0.20. All the alloys investigated were ferromagnetic. The Curie temperature of annealed specimens and rapidly solidified of Mno 5sAlu 44 alloy were -650K and -644K. Spontaneous magnetization( UII of annealed and rapidly solidified specimens were 40-45 (emu/g) and 50-52(emu/g), respectively. Remanent (M,) to saturation magnetization( Ms) ratio was -0.7. M, of rapidly solidified specimen was about 48(emu/g). Magnetic properties of $Mn_{0.56}Al_{0.44}$ alloys were found to be determined by the relative fraction of ferromagnetic r- and K- phase. When M= Cu and x=0.15, maximum as($\sigma_{0.0}$) was obtained by about 64.3 emu/g), and when M=Fe and x=0.15, 66.4( emu/g). The Curie temperature decreased as x increased.
