PSIM 모델을 이용한 변압기 모델링 및 회로상수 추출방법 (An Effective Gyrator-based Transformer Modeling using PSIM)

  • Magnetic circuit is a physical modeling method that is useful in designing and analyzing power transformers, especially for a priori evaluation of leakage and magnetizing inductance before actual production. In this study, a novel modeling approach that uses PSIM magnetic elements adopting gyrator and permeance-capacitances is investigated. A formula to determine the permeance-capacitors in the core and leakage path are established, and a simulation jig is devised to link the physical model and the electrical terminal characteristics with an automated parameter determination process. The derived formula is verified by measurement results of the prototype transformer samples. Given its accuracy and simplicity, this approach is suitable for analyzing and designing LLC resonant transformers whose leakage and magnetizing inductance are very critical to circuit operation.

자기부상열차 추진용 리니어모터 효율향상 설계연구 (A Study on Design of Linear Motor for Maglev for High Efficiency)

  • In this paper, effective design method of linear induction motor(LIM) for Maglev is proposed in order to maximize system efficiency of Maglev. For the high system efficiency of Maglev, it is important to minimize weight of traction motor. Light weight design by changing materials of core and winding is conducted without changing volume of LIM. For the silicon steel core of primary part for magnetic flux path, iron-cobalt alloy steel with high magnetic saturation characteristic compared to silicon steel is suggested. Moreover, aluminium winding with light weight instead of copper winding is wounded in the widen slot area due to the high magnetic saturation level. For the verification of performance of proposed model, the characteristics are analyzed by using finite element method(FEM).

  • The output characteristics of thin film NiO/NiFe bilayered magnetoresistive device have been measured as a function of the direction of external magnetic field. Each layer was fabricated by rf magnetron sputtering method, and especially, the under layer, NiO, was fabricated under the in-situmagnetic field of about 1000Oe. The magnetoresistive devices were designed with the angle of 45degree between the direction of current of the device pattern and the induces magnetic field in the NiO film layer. The output of the devices had a good linearity when the devices were placed on the external magnetic field perpendicular to induced field direction and also 45 degree with the currenr path direction.

  • 경계요소법을 이용하여 자기 박막 헤드의 자장을 계산하고, 자화 물질이 헤드 아래에 존재할때 헤드의 자장에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 3가지의 서로 다른 자화율을 갖는 영역에 대해서 경제요소법이 잘 적용됨을 보였으며, 헤드 아래의 자화 물질이 자속의 경로를 감소시키며 헤드 공극 사이의 자장을 증가시킴을 보았다.

Measurement of Stator Core Loss of an Induction Motor at Each Manufacturing Process

  • The measurement of stator core loss for an induction motor at each manufacturing process is carried out in this paper. Iron loss in the stator core of induction motor changes after each manufacturing process due to the mechanical stress, which can cause the deterioration of the magnetic performances. This paper proposes a new iron loss measuring system of the stator core in an induction motor, which can be applied to the case when the distribution of magnetic flux density is not uniform along the magnetic flux path. In the system, the iron loss is calculated based on the induced voltage of the B-search coil and exciting current.

Magnetic Saturation Effect on the Rotor Core of Synchronous Reluctance Motor

  • This paper presents a study on the design parameters that consider the magnetic saturation effect in a rotor core of a synchronous reluctance motor. Two important design parameters in a rotor are selected to analyze the saturation effect of a synchronous reluctance motor, particularly in a rotor core. The thickness of the main segment, which is the main path of the d-axis flux, and the end rip, which affects the q-axis flux, are analyzed using the d-axis and q-axis inductances. Moreover, the characteristics of torque and torque ripple when magnetic saturation takes place are analyzed. The saturation effect is verified by comparing the reluctance torque between the experiment and FEM simulation.

GEOMAGNETIC FIELD VARIATIONS DURING SOLAR ECLIPSES AND THE GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION OF OBSERVING SITES

  • We examine whether the solar eclipse effect is dependent on the geographic conditions under which the geomagnetic field variations are recorded. We concentrate our attention on the dependence of the solar eclipse effect on a number of factors, including, the magnitude of a solar eclipse (defined as the fraction of the angular diameter of the Sun being eclipsed), the magnetic latitude of the observatory, the duration of the observed solar eclipse at the given geomagnetic observatory, and the location of the geomagnetic observatory in the path of the Moon's shadow. We analyze an average of the 207 geomagnetic field variation data sets observed by 100 INTERMAGNET geomagnetic nodes, during the period from 1991 to 2016. As a result, it is demonstrated that (1) the solar eclipse effect on the geomagnetic field, i.e., an increase in the Y component and decreases in the X, Z and F componenets, becomes more distinct as the magnitude of solar eclipse increases, (2) the solar eclipse effect is most conspicuous when the modulus of the magnetic latitude is between $30^{\circ}$ and $50^{\circ}$, (3) the more slowly Moon's shadow passes the geomagnetic observatory, the more clear the solar eclipse effect, (4) the geomagnetic observatory located in the latter half of the path of Moon's shadow with respect to the position of the greatest eclipse is likely to observe a more clear signal. Finally, we conclude by stressing the importance of our findings.

  • 본 연구에서는 공기분자간 평균 자유비형거리(molecular mean free path)를 고려한 수정된 레이놀즈 방정식을 공기막 두께의 미소 교란항에 대하여 전개하여 비선 형 정적 평형방정식과 교란 미분방ㄹ정식을 구하였다. 비선형 정적 평형방정식을 슬 라이더의 정량적인 거동형태를 표시하므로 이를 이용하여 슬라이더의 정적특성을 구할 수 있다. 이에 반하여, 동적 교란미분 방정식은 슬라이더의 간극함수에 대한 각종 교란에 의하여 유발되는 반발압력을 정성적으로 나타내므로, 슬라이더의 외부교란에 대한 응답특성 및 자기복원특성 등을 구할 수 있다. 이러한 특성을 서스펜션에 부착 된 헤드 시스템의 운동방정식에 함께 고려하여 시스템의 동적 특성을 해석하고 슬라이 더의 설계변수가 이에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고저 한다.

자기공명유속계 (MRV) 에서 3차원 다중경로 선적분법을 활용한 비침습적 압력예측 방법 개발 (Development of Non-Invasive Pressure Estimation Using 3D Multi-Path Line Integration Method from Magnetic Resonance Velocimetry (MRV))

  • The pressure difference across stenotic blood vessels is a commonly used clinical metric for diagnosing many cardiovascular diseases. At present, most clinical pressure measurements rely solely on invasive catheterization. In this study, we propose a novel method for non-invasive pressure estimation using the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations and a 3D multi-path integration approach. We verify spatio-temporal convergence on an in-silico dataset of a cylindrical straight pipe phantom with steady and pulsatile flow fields. We then evaluate the proposed method on an in vitro dataset of reconstructed control, pre-operative, and post-operative carotid artery cases acquired from 4D flow MRI. The performance of our method is compared to existing approaches based on the pressure Poisson equation and work-energy relative pressure. The results demonstrate the proposed method's high accuracy, robustness to spatio-temporal subsampling, and reduced sensitivity to noise, highlighting its great potential for non-invasive pressure estimation.

초음파 영상을 이용한 고강도 집중 초음파 빔 시각화 (High-intensity focused ultrasound beam path visualization using ultrasound imaging)

  • 고강도 집중 초음파(High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound, HIFU) 치료에서 HIFU 초점의 효과적인 위치 파악은 안전한 치료 계획을 개발하는 데 중요하다. 자기 공명 영상 유도 HIFU(Magnetic Resonance Imaging guided HIFU, MRIgHIFU)는 HIFU 초점을 영상화하여 치료 중에 초음파 경로를 시각화 할 수 있지만 초음파 이미징 유도 HIFU(Ultrasound imaging guided HIFU, USIgHIFU)에서는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 USIgHIFU에 대해 HIFU 초점을 영상화할 수 있는 실시간 초음파 빔 시각화 기법을 제시 하였다. 제안 된 방법에서, 음향 강도(Ispta < 720 mW/㎠) 아래의 이미징 초음파 변환자의 동일한 중심 주파수를 갖는 짧은 펄스가 HIFU 변환기를 통해 전송되고, HIFU 빔 경로를 시각화하기 위해 수신 신호는 동적 수신 포커싱 및 후속 에코 처리를 거쳤다. 소 혈청 알부민 젤 팬텀을 이용한 생체외 실험으로부터, HIFU 빔 경로는 낮은 음향 강도 (Ispta = 94.8 mW/㎠)에서도 명확히 영상화 할 수 있었고 HIFU 초점은 손상이 생성되기 전에 성공적으로 시각화하였다. 이 결과는 제안 된 초음파 빔 경로 시각화 방법이 USIgHIFU 치료에서 원치 않는 조직 손상을 최소화하면서 실시간으로 HIFU 초점을 영상화하는 데 사용될 수 있음을 나타낸다.
