This study focus on what methods of MOT are needed and utilized to solve a technical problem in the MOT leading company. We first classified the MOT methods by project life cycle and R&D job quality based on the several discussion with working group. In order to study, the survey was carried out by 168 experts working on MOT practices. Our main research findings are as follows. The level of utilized MOT methods was above average because MOT sector was beginning to represent an increasing share of total R&D business. But the satisfaction level on the MOT majors was below average. The more utilized MOT methods in practices were 'environment analysis and opportunity research,' 'business feasibility,' 'roadmapping,' 'portfolio,' 'technology tree,' 'scheduling,' 'risk management,' 'six sigma,' 'design of experiment,' 'quality control,' 'cost analysis' etc. And the subjects of product realization process were also needed to MOT practice such as 'design for reliability,' 'design for cost,' 'design for performance,' 'design for safety' deeply involved to product quality. Finally, the capability requested to University students were 'problem define and solving,' 'technology planning and strategy,' 'creative thinking.'

본고에서는 T-DMB에서 사용하는 데이터 서비스에 필요한 프로토콜 중, 세션계층의 프로토콜을 분석하여 UML로 모델링하였다. 세션계층에 속한 프로토콜로는 MOT 프로토콜과 데이터 그룹 프로토콜이 있다. 이 프로토콜들은 데이터 서비스를 위한 프로토콜로 방송웹사이트나 슬라이드 쇼 등을 전송하는데 이용된다. MOT 프로토콜은 부가 정보를 포함하는 객체 정보를 부호화 하는 과정이고, 데이터 그룹 프로토콜은 MOT 부호화된 객체를 분할하는 과정이다. 이러한 분석은 MOT 데이터 서비스를 위한 송수신기 설계 및 구현에 활용될 수 있다.

Recently, we can find the keyword 'MOT' everywhere, and some people says MOT is key technology for Japanese recovery from these 10years recession. In Japan one of reasons is lack of powerful new products and businesses. So if MOT will be effective for realizing the new products. MOT must be the savior for Japanese future.

This study focuses on the necessity of MOT methods in companies, especially the utilization level. Based on the analysis structure of the previous study (2012), this study was conducted to compare the results with the previous results. We investigated the settlement level of MOT, the degree of necessity for MOT methods, the degree of actual use, and the Product Realization Process (PRP) for MOT-related researchers in electronic companies (n=184). It was confirmed that the higher the demand for MOT methods in the corporate field, the higher the utilization level (ratio). In particular, the need for and utilization of techniques such as Environmental Analysis, Business Opportunity Analysis, Project Feasibility Review, Roadmap, Risk Management was high. These methods were beneficial along with cost management and quality management techniques. The most challenging part of using MOT methods was the lack of systematic use, the absence of experts, and the difficulty in selecting suitable techniques. The necessity of opening subjects such as Creative Thinking, Communication, Teamwork, and Professional Ethics was high among the PRP subjects. Furthermore, the necessity of opening courses in Cost and Safety Design and Applied Statistics was higher than in the previous study.

Over the past three decades, Korean universities have developed their management of technology (MOT) education, which became an independent major in the 1990s and has since spread to various institutions. However, there has been limited research that has specifically examined the development process and themes of the curriculum in MOT education. This study aims to fill this gap by examining the history of MOT education in Korea by period and analyzing the subjects and characteristics covered in the MOT curriculum of Korean universities. We categorized the educational courses offered by MOT graduate schools by subject and compared the composition of universities to analyze the current status of the MOT education program. Our analysis reveals the key characteristics of MOT education in Korea and suggests future development tasks for this field.

Technology has always been the force multiplier that influenced production and effected increase in the standard of living. The difficult choices involved in developing and implementing new technologies are recognized, but the right choice is rarely well defined and progress is often subject trial and error. The process of managing technologies to create wealth is called MOT. MOT is proposed as the central link for knowledge drawn from engineering, business, science, and corporate practice. One academic response to global competition is the creation of graduate program in MOT that have different academic and experience requirements. The purposes of this paper can be divided into two categories: how about the realities of MOT programs in Korea and what is the recommendation for universities to introduce this program.

The bacterial flagellar motor is a molecular machine that couples proton or sodium influx to force generation, mostly for driving rotation of the helical flagellar filament. In this study, we cloned a gene (motX) encoding a component of the sodium-driven flagellar motor from Vibrio fluvialis. The nucleotide sequence of the motX gene, composed of 633 bp and 211 amino acid residues, was determined. Overexpression of the motX gene in Escherichia coli using a strong promoter induced growth inhibition and cell lysis. The lethal effect of E. coli was suppressed by adding amiloride, as a potent inhibitor for the sodium channel. Electron microscopic observation of the expressed protein indicated that MotX protein induced by isopropyl ${\beta}$-D-thiogalactopyranoside caused the lysis of host cell.

Nowadays, as digital technologies are rapidly developed and requirements for the various types of broadband multimedia services increases, the radio broadcasting is moving to digitalization. DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting), as an alternation of existing analog radio broadcasting, is a new type of multimedia broadcasting system. DAB supports not only high-quality audio broadcasting but also various types of multimedia data services. In this paper, we investigate the performance optimization method of MOT Protocol, as the standard for additional services, to support the multimedia services in the DAB network. Because the performance of the MOT protocol is dependent on various parameters such as segment size, segment repetition and so on, we find those by simulation for performance optimization. According to simulation results, the suitable segment size is about 2Kbyte and segment repetition is 4 times for performance optimization.

In this paper, a stable marching-on in time(MOT) method with a time domain combined field integral equation(CFIE) is presented to obtain the transient scattering response from arbitrarily shaped three-dimensional conducting bodies. This formulation is based on a linear combination of the time domain electric field integral equation(EFIE) with the magnetic field integral equation(MFIE). The time derivatives in the EFIE and MFIE are approximated using a central finite difference scheme and other terms are averaged over time. This time domain CFIE approach produces results that are accurate and stable when solving for transient scattering responses from conducting objects. Numerical results with the proposed MOT scheme are presented and compared with those obtained from the conventional method and the inverse discrete Fourier transform(IDFT) of the frequency domain CFIE solution.
