  • MOST150, which has a higher bandwidth than of MOST25, appears to satisfy the demand for the automotive infotainment system and to increase the multimedia processing capacity, and the various technology applications are required for the accomplishment of MOST150 development. The MOST25 network technology is being restrictively equipped with some of the car models but the problems with bandwidth and compatibility has arisen. In order to solve this, the MOST150 technology has been developed and further research is being carried out to apply the technology to the automobile industry. Thus, for the effective process of the Ethernet traffic in the realization of MOST150/Ethernet Gateway for automobile, we, in the research, shall analyse the Management Mapping method, including the MOST150's Isochronous channel, the MOST Ethernet Packet channel, and etc. and study the efficient algorithm.

  • The application of MOST150 technology has been required to satisfy the demand for the automotive infotainment system and the higher bandwidth requirements caused by the increase of the multimedia processing capacity. The Ethernet technology applied gateway was implemented for an efficient transmission of multimedia, a vehicle diagnosis, an external communication, a data processing between the MOST150 and the CAN communication method applied to many existing vehicles. The new algorithm and application were suggested in order to efficiently perform the data processing between other types of communication systems. The existing MOST150 frame is mainly composed of the Control Channel, the Legacy Packet Channel(async) and the Synchronous /Isochronous Channels and performs the data processing through these sequential channels. With the sense of this process, this study suggested the new algorithm that the Mapping method of the IETF's QoS Management was applied to the MOST150 technology for the efficient QoS.

  • In recent years, the driver needs the convenience of their vehicles and that there is an increasing requirement. Many researches have been mainly focused on MOST Networks to provide quality of multimedia service. The MOST network to support different bandwidth(MOST 25, MOST 50, MOST 150) should consist of a heterogeneous network. So the networks to used different protocols required gateway for receive and transmit information. The method to used gateway has problems occured loss of a packet by a lot of delay. In our previous research, we proposed a MOST GATEWAY system for organically connected to the network MOST150 and MOST 25. Therefore in this paper, we propose a simulation design Method of dynamic gateway system for MOST GATEWAY Performance Analysis in MOST25 and MOST150 Networks.

  • Interest in vehicle infotainment system, that provides both entertainment of driving and information for safe and convenient driving, has been recently increased. MOST is defined as the network transmitting high-bandwidth infortainment data to vehicle, and it has been standardized as MOST150. In this research, dynamic behavior method that deals with roles and functions of each devices connected to MOST150 Network, and Power Management Method was studied. MOST Network consists of a master device, including function block 'NetworkMaster', and all other devices called slave devices. The purpose of this study is to apply the analysis of the methods of operating and power management based on condition of master device and slave devices on MOST150 network to the future development of MOST150 devices.

  • 최근 차량의 멀티미디어 장치들이 증가하면서 이 장치들을 광 네트워크로 연결하여 멀티미디어 데이터를 송 수신해서 사용할 수 있는 MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) 네트워크를 적용한 차량들이 늘어나고 있다. MOST 네트워크는 최근 자동차 멀티미디어 시스템에 넓게 사용되고 있는 통신 시스템으로서, 동기 및 비동기 데이터를 동시에 전송할 수 있고, 최근에는 150Mbps를 전송할 수 있는 MOST150 네트워크를 이용한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MOST150 네트워크에서 Audio 데이터 입출력을 제어하기 위한 알고리즘을 설계 및 구현하였다. Audio 데이터를 제어하는 방식은 ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)를 통해 Audio 데이터가 들어오면 IOC(IO Companion)를 통해 INIC으로 Audio데이터를 전달한다. INIC은 MOST150 네트워크로 데이터를 전송하고 그렇게 보내진 Audio 데이터를 MOST150 네트워크 내부의 다른 장치에서 INIC을 통해 데이터를 수신하여 DAC(Digital to Analog Converter)를 통해 Audio 장치에서 소리가 나는 것을 테스트하여 정상적으로 동작함을 확인하였다.

  • In our previous research, we proposed a MOST GATEWAY system for organically connected to the network MOST150 and MOST 25 and we proposed a simulation design method for performance analysis of Scheduling Algorithm in MOST GATEWAY system. Therefore in this paper, after comparing the performance among the existing scheduling algorithm methods in MOST25 and MOST150 Networks, we use NS-2 simulator in order to analyze the performance. Finally, we present an improvement scheme of the efficiency and scalability.

  • As demands increase for the Infotainment System, the Multimedia Networking technology for automobile, called MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport), has been actively applied to the automobile industry, to meet the demands of the Infotainment System. The MOST25 network technology is being restrictively equipped with some of the car models but the problems withbandwidth and compatibility has arisen. In order to solve this, the MOST150 technology has been developed and further research is being carried out to applythe technology to the automobile industry.   • 최근 자동차 산업의 발달로 후방카메라의 보급과 더불어 안전/보안 관련 제품이 출시되고 있다. 대부분의 후방카메라 설치는 많은 부품과 배선들이 들어간다는 단점이 있으며 배선이 길어질수록 노이즈가 발생한다. 본 연구는 차량의 후방을 감시하는 후방카메라에 관한 시스템으로 MOST 네트워크를 이용하여 설계하였다. 동기 및 비동기 데이터를 동시에 전송할 수 있는 MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) 네트워크는 최근 자동차 멀티미디어 시스템에 가장 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 통신 시스템이다. MOST150은 주로 링 형태로 연결되어지며 마스터 역할을 하는 장치가 반드시 하나 존재하고 여러 개의 슬레이브 장치들이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 MOST150 네트워크에서 차량용 카메라로부터 들어오는 영상을 적용하고, 광 케이블을 통해 노이즈 발생 및 배선의 복잡성을 줄여 운전자가 정확하고 실시간으로 원활한 영상 데이터를 얻을 수 있는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • In our previous research, we proposed a MOST GATEWAY system for organically connected to the network MOST150 and MOST 25 and a simulation design method for performance analysis of Scheduling Algorithm in MOST GATEWAY system. Therefore in this paper, we use CANoe.MOST simulator in order to analyze the performance and propose a algorithm design method for Performance analysis according to number of queues by applying existing scheduling algorithms. Finally, we present an improvement scheme of the efficiency and scalability.
