  • 그래프 G의 고장지름이란 임의의 연결도-1 개 이하의 정점들에 고장이 났을 경우, 모든 두 정점사이의 최단경로 길이의 최대 값을 말한다. 본 논문에서는 $k{\geq}3$인 재귀원형군 $G(2{\leq}m,2{\leq}k)$의 고장 지름을 분석한다. $ dia_{m.k}$$ G(2^m,2^k)$의 지름이라 하자. $G(2{\leq}m,2{\leq}k/)$일 때, $G(2{\leq}m,2{\leq}k)$의 고장지름은 $2^m-2이고$, m=k+1일 때, 고장지름은 $2^k-1$임을 보인다. 그리고 m>k+1인 재귀원형군 $G(2{\leq}m,2{\leq}k)$에서, m=1 (mod 2k)이면 고장지름은 $dia_{m.k+1}$과 같고, $m{\neq}1$ (mod 2k)이면 고장지름은 $dia_{m.k+2}$ 이하임을 보인다.

Expanding Generalized Hadamard Matrices over $G^m$ by Substituting Several Generalized Hadamard Matrices over G

  • Over an additive abelian group G of order g and for a given positive integer $\lambda$, a generalized Hadamard matrix GH(g, $\lambda$) is defined as a gλ$\times$gλ matrix[h(i, j)], where 1 $\leq i \leqg\lambda and 1 \leqj \leqg\lambda$, such that every element of G appears exactly $\lambd$atimes in the list h($i_1, 1) -h(i_2, 1), h(i_1, 2)-h(i_2, 2), …, h(i_1, g\lambda) -h(i_2, g\lambda), for any i_1\neqi_2$. In this paper, we propose a new method of expanding a GH(g^m, \lambda_1) = B = [B_{ij}] over G^m$ by replacing each of its m-tuple B_{ij} with B_{ij} + GH(g, $\lambda_2) where m = g\lambda_2. We may use g^m/\lambda_1 (not necessarily all distinct) GH(g, \lambda_2$)s for the substitution and the resulting matrix is defined over the group of order g.

GROUP-FREENESS AND CERTAIN AMALGAMATED FREENESS

  • In this paper, we will consider certain amalgamated free product structure in crossed product algebras. Let M be a von Neumann algebra acting on a Hilbert space Hand G, a group and let ${\alpha}$ : G${\rightarrow}$ AutM be an action of G on M, where AutM is the group of all automorphisms on M. Then the crossed product $\mathbb{M}=M{\times}{\alpha}$ G of M and G with respect to ${\alpha}$ is a von Neumann algebra acting on $H{\bigotimes}{\iota}^2(G)$, generated by M and $(u_g)_g{\in}G$, where $u_g$ is the unitary representation of g on ${\iota}^2(G)$. We show that $M{\times}{\alpha}(G_1\;*\;G_2)=(M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;G_1)\;*_M\;(M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;G_2)$. We compute moments and cumulants of operators in $\mathbb{M}$. By doing that, we can verify that there is a close relation between Group Freeness and Amalgamated Freeness under the crossed product. As an application, we can show that if $F_N$ is the free group with N-generators, then the crossed product algebra $L_M(F_n){\equiv}M\;{\times}{\alpha}\;F_n$ satisfies that $$L_M(F_n)=L_M(F_{{\kappa}1})\;*_M\;L_M(F_{{\kappa}2})$$, whenerver $n={\kappa}_1+{\kappa}_2\;for\;n,\;{\kappa}_1,\;{\kappa}_2{\in}\mathbb{N}$.

Rat에 있어서 탈지사료 및 철분투여가 다불포화 지방산, vitamin E 및 그 유도체에 미치는 영향 (Effect of administration with fat-free diet and dietary iron on polyunsaturated fatty acid, vitamin E and their derivatives in male rats)

  • This study was designed to elucidate the effects of administration with dietary iron and fat-free diet on the contents of unsaturated fatty acid in phospholipid molecules, vitamin E contents and malondialdehyde contents in liver, kidney, muscle and testis of the male rats. The rats were divided into 3 experimental groups, namely, control, iron injection and fat-free diet administration groups. The control group was fed with normal diet, iron injection group injected intraperitoneally 20mg of ferric hydroxide/100g of body weight 20 times every 3 days and fat-free diet group administered lipid extraction diet with hexane in normal diet. All experimental groups were maintained for 60 days with feeding on the respective ration. The results obtained were summarized as follows: 1. In the mean contents of unsaturated fatty acid in phospholipid of liver, kidney, muscle and testis among groups, control group was 21.31mg/g, 19.38mg/g, 1.67mg/g, 13.68mg/g, iron injection group was 13.83mg/g, 16.53mg/g, 0.71mg/g, 10.11mg/g and fat-free diet group was 21.07mg/g, 19.38mg/g, 1.49mg/g and 13.40mg/g, respectively. 2. In the mean contents of vitamin E in liver, kidney, muscle and testis among groups, control group was 6.77mg/g, 1.93mg/g, 0.12mg/g, 0.17mg/g, iron injection group was 3.16mg/g, 0.86mg/g, 0.07mg/g, 0.09mg/g and fat-free diet group was 7.41mg/g, 1.50mg/g, 0.11mg/g and 0.16mg/g, respectively. 3. In the mean contents of malondialdehyde in liver, kidney, muscle, testis and serum among groups, control group was 11.29nM/0.1g, 23.25nM/0.1g, 42.47nM/0.1g, 7.01nM/0.1g, 4.33nM/ml, iron injection group was 34.98nM/0.1g, 40.55nM/0.1g, 72.21nM/0.1g, 12.26nM/0.1g, 11.27nM/ml and fat-free diet group was 8.07nM/0.1g, 20.63nM/0.1g, 39.92nM/0.1g, 6.95nM/0.1g and 4.27nM/ml, respectively.

터널환기 무창육계사의 분진크기별 분포와 배출농도에 관한 연구 (Dust Spatial Distribution and Emission of Tunnel Ventilated Windowless Broiler Building)

  • 본 연구는 터널환기 무창육계사의 계사내부의 위치별 먼지 농도 분포와 배기홴에서 배출된 먼지의 확산범위를 알아보고자 수행하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 입기구 방향의 계사 1/4 지점의 먼지농도는 TSP의 경우 $301.0{\sim}1,366.0\;{\mu}g/m^3$으로 입기구의 위치에 따라 차이가 있었다. 2. 터널홴 앞 3m 지점에서는 TSP $2065.8{\sim}3,092.2\;{\mu}g/m^3$, PM 2.5 $27.6{\sim}36.3\;{\mu}g/m^3$, PM 1.0 $8.3{\sim}11.3\;{\mu}g/m^3$으로 입기구에 비하여 증가하였다. 3. 배기홴으로부터 3m의 지점의 먼지 배출량은 TSP $354.8{\sim}574.8\;{\mu}g/m^3$으로 매우 높았으며 PM10 $94.4{\sim}156.2\;{\mu}g/m^3$, PM2.5 $14.6{\sim}18.0\;{\mu}g/m^3$, PM1.0 $6.0{\sim}6.4\;{\mu}g/m^3$ 이었다. 4. 배기홴으로부터 50m 떨어진 지점에서의 분진농도는 TSP $25.1\;{\mu}g/m^3$, PM10 $8.8\;{\mu}g/m^3$, PM2.5 $5.6\;{\mu}g/m^3$, PM1.0 $4.9\;{\mu}g/m^3$으로 매우 낮은 분진농도를 보였다. 5. 입기구와 배기구 간 분진농도의 차이는 TSP의 경우 입기구에서 $317.9\;{\mu}g/m^3$인데 비하여 배기구는 $2,678.5\;{\mu}g/m^3$로 8.42배 높았으며 PM10 7.4배, PM2.5 3.4배, PM1.0 1.6배 높았다. 6. 배기홴으로부터 거리별 분진의 배출농도는 3m 지점에서 $446.6\;{\mu}g/m^3$ 이었으나 20 m 지점에서는 $156.3\;{\mu}g/m^3$로 34.9% 수준이었고 PM10 34.9%, PM2.5 48.7%, PM1.0 86.8% 수준이었다.

  • Cobrotoxin의 항염증 치료 기전에 대해 연구하기 위하여 성상세포에 LPS 및 SNP로 염증을 유도한 후 NF-${\kappa}B$와 DNA의 결합 능력, NF-kB Dependent Luciferase 발현, Astrocyte의 세포활성, NF-${\kappa}B$ 구성 단백질인 P50, P-$1{\kappa}B$, $1{\kappa}BB$ 및 염증(炎症)관련 유전자(遺傳子)인 Cox-2, iNOS, cPLA2의 발현과 GSH와 DTT로 sulf-hydryl기를 환원시 NF-${\kappa}B$와 DNA의 결합 능력, NF-${\kappa}B$ 구성 단백질인 P50 발현에 미치는 영향과 Cobrotoxin의 성상세포 내 유입 등을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. LPS 로 염증을 유발한 후 NF-${\kappa}B$와 DNA의 결합 능력을 관찰한 결과 Cobrotoxin 0.1${\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군, Astrocyte 내에서의 Cobrotoxin 0.1, 0.5${\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에서 모두 대조군에 비하여 유의한 억제를 나타내었다. 2. LPS로 염증을 유발한 후 Astrocyte 내에서 NF-${\kappa}B$ Dependent Luciferase 발현을 살펴본 결과 Cobrotoxin 모든 처리군에서 대조군에 비하여 유의한 억제를 나타내었다. 3. SNP로 염증을 유발한 후 Cobrotoxin이 NF-${\kappa}B$ 구성 단백질인 P50, P-$1{\kappa}B$, $1{\kappa}B$ 발현에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 P50와 $1{\kappa}B$는 Cobrotoxin 0.1, 0.5 및 $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 모든 처리군에서 대조군에 비하여 유의한 억제를 나타내었고, P-$1{\kappa}B$는 Cobrotoxin $0.1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에서 대조군에 비하여 억제를, Cobrotoxin 0.5, $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에서 각각 대조군에 비하여 유의한 억제를 나타내었다. 4. LPS로 염증을 유발한 후 Cobrotoxin이 NF-${\kappa}B$ 구성 단백질인 P50, P-$1{\kappa}B$, $1{\kappa}B$ 발현에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 P50와 $1{\kappa}B$는 Cobrotoxin 0.5, $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에서 각각 대조군에 비하여 유의한 억제를 나타내었다. 5. SNP로 염증을 유발한 후 Cobrotoxin이 염증(炎症) 관련 유전자(遺傳子)인 Cox-2, iNOS, cPLA2 발현에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 Cox-2, iNOS, cPLA2 모두 Cobrotoxin $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에서 대조군에 비하여 유의한 억제를 나타내었다. 6. LPS로 염증을 유발한 후 Cobrotoxin이 염증(炎症) 관련 견전자(遣傳子)인 Cox-2, iNOS, cPLA2 발현에 미치는 영향을 살펴본 결과 Cox-2와 cPLA2의 경우 Cobrotoxin 0.1, 0.5 및 $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 모든 처리군에서, iNOS의 경우 Cobrotoxin 0.5, $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에서 대조군에 비하여 유의한 억제를 나타내었다. 7. Astrocyte내에서 SNP로 염증을 유발한 후 GSH와 DTT로 sulf-hydryl기를 환원하여 NF-${\kappa}B$와 BNA의 결합 능력을 관찰한 결과 Cobrotoxin $0.5{\mu}g/m{\ell}$과 DTT 1mM Cobrotoxin $0.5{\mu}g/m{\ell}$과 DTT 5mM의 동시처리군은 각각 Cobrotoxin $0.5{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에 비하여 유의한 증가를 나타내었다. 8. Astrocyte 내에서 LPS로 염증을 유발한 후 GSH와 DTT로 sulf-hydryl기를 환원하여 NF-${\kappa}B$와 DNA의 결합 능력을 관찰한 결과 cobrotoxin $0.5{\mu}g/m{\ell}$과 DTT 1mM Cobrotoxin $0.5{\mu}g/m{\ell}$과 DTT 5mM의 동시처리군과 Cobrotoxin $0.5{\mu}g/m{\ell}$과 GSH 1mM Cobrotoxin $0.5{\mu}g/m{\ell}$과 GSH 5mM의 동시처리군 모두에서 Cobrotoxin $0.5{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에 비하여 유의한 증가를 나타내었다. 9. Astrocyte 내에서 SNP로 염증을 유발한 후 GSH와 DTT로 sulf-hydryl기 환원시 NF-${\kappa}B$ 구성 단백질인 P50 발현에 미치는 영향을 관찰한 결과 SNP, Cobrotoxin $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$와 DTT 1 또는 5mM 동시처리군과 SNP, Cobrotoxin $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$와 GSH 1 또는 5mM 동시처리군 모두에서 Cobrotoxin $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 처리군에 비하여 발현의 유의한 증가를 나타내었다. 10. Cobrotoxin의 세포 내 유입 확인을 살펴본 결과 Astrocyte 내에서 Cobrotoxin이 세포내로 유입되는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로 보아 Cobrotoxin 처리는 성상 세포 들을 대상을 LPS 및 SNP로 유도된 NF-${\kappa}B$ 관련 염증 기전과 iNOS, COX-2, cPLA2와 같은 염증관련 유전자의 발현 및 NO, PGE2,에 유의한 변동을 나타내었고, 이들 결과는 Cobrotoxin의 항염증 효과 및 그 치료기전에 대하여 입증한 것이며, 향후 안전성 연구를 바탕으로 신경계 및 심혈관계 염증치료에 약침개발과 같은 적극적인 활용이 기대된다.

On the comparison of mean object size in M/G/1/PS model and M/BP/1 model for web service

  • This paper aims to compare the mean object size of M/G/1/PS model with that of M/BP/1 model used in the web service. The mean object size is one of important measure to control and manage web service economically. M/G/1/PS model utilizes the processor sharing in which CPU rotates in round-robin order giving time quantum to multiple tasks. M/BP/1 model uses the Bounded Pareto distribution to describe the web service according to file size. We may infer that the mean waiting latencies of M/G/1/PS and M/BP/1 model are equal to the mean waiting latency of the deterministic model using the round robin scheduling with the time quantum. Based on the inference, we can find the mean object size of M/G/1/PS model and M/BP/1 model, respectively. Numerical experiments show that when the system load is smaller than the medium, the mean object sizes of the M/G/1/PS model and the M/BP/1 model become the same. In particular, when the shaping parameter is 1.5 and the lower and upper bound of the file size is small in the M/BP/1 model, the mean object sizes of M/G/1/PS model and M/BP/1 model are the same. These results confirm that it is beneficial to use a small file size in a web service.

봉독(蜂毒) 약침액(藥鍼液)의 세포독성(細胞毒性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (The Study on the Cytotoxicity of Compounds of Bee Venom for Herb-Acupuncture)

  • Objective : This study was undertaken to determine which compound of Bee Venom for herb-acupuncture has cytotoxicity on mouse mast cell line. Methods : We compared crude bee venom and its compounds such as melittin, mast cell degranulating peptide (MCD peptide), apamin with control groups on cytotoxicity by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. Results & Conclusion : 1. Crude bee venom showed significant cytotoxic effect(p<0.01) in 1 hour treatment with $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ in comparison with control group in 1 hour treatment with low concentration of $10-4{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $10-3{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $10-2{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $10-1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ and $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, but it showed no significant cytotoxic effect in 6 hours treatment. 2. Melittin group showed no significant cytotoxic effect in comparison with control group in 1 and 6 hours treatment with low concentration of $10-4{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $10-3{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $10-2{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $10-1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ and $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$. 3. MCD peptide and Apamin group showed no significant cytotoxic effect in comparison with control group in 1 and 6 hours treatment with low concentration of $10-4{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ $10-3{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $10-2{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $10-1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ and $1{\mu}g/m{\ell}$. 4. Crude bee venom showed significant cytotoxic effect(p<0.01) in 1 and 6 hours treatment in comparison with control group in 1 and 6 hours treatment with high concentration of $10{\mu}g/m{\ell}$, $20{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ and $102{\mu}g/m{\ell}$. 5. Melittin group showed significant cytotoxic effect(p<0.01) in 1 hour treatment in comparison with control group in 1 hour treatment with high concentration of $10{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ but it showed no significant cytotoxic effect in 6 hours treatment. 6. Crude bee venom and its compounds have more cytotoxic effect in 1 hour treatment than in 6 hours treatment. It means cytotoxicity tends to decrease according to the treatment time.

Dynamics of Organic Carbon and Nutrients in Litterfall of Quercus mongolica Forest in Mt. Songnisan National Park

  • The amounts of organic carbon and several nutrients in litterfall on the forest floor of Quercus mongolica forest were assessed for two years from 1998 through 2000 in Mt. Songnisan National Park in Korea. The amounts of organic carbon (C) in litterfall were the highest in autumn with the values of $150.4g/m^2$ (62.6%) in 1998 and $219.2g/m^2$ (61.0%) in 1999. In winter, organic C was the lowest with the values of $16.3g/m^2$ (6.8%) in 1998 and $12.5g/m^2$ (6.7%) in 1999. It was estimated that the organic C added to forest floor via litterfall was 240.1 $g{\cdot}m^{-2}yr^{-1}$ and 186.6 $g{\cdot}m^{-2}yr^{-1}$ 1998 and 1999, respectively. The amounts of nitrogen (N) in litterfall were the highest in autumn with the values of 5.9 $g/m^2$ (58.0%) in 1998 and 5.2 $g/m^2$ (62.3%) in 1999. The amount of phosphorus (P) in litterfall showed its peak in autumn with 0.19 $g/m^2$ (52.9%) in 1998 and 0.11 $g/m^2$ (52.6%) in 1999. The amount of P returned to forest floor via litterfall was 0.35 $g{\cdot}m^{-2}yr^{-1}$ in 1998 and 0.22 $g{\cdot}m^{-2}yr^{-1}$ in 1999. The amount of potassium (K) in litterfall showed its peak in autumn with 0.57 $g/m^{2}$ (53.8%) in 1998 and 0.42 $g/m^2$ (55.3%) in 1999. The amounts of K returned to forest floor via litterfall was 1.11 $g{\cdot}m^{-2}yr^{-1}$ in 1998 and 0.81 $g{\cdot}m^{-2}yr^{-1}$ in 1999.

Odd Harmonious and Strongly Odd Harmonious Graphs

  • A graph G = (V (G), E(G) of order n = |V (G)| and size m = |E(G)| is said to be odd harmonious if there exists an injection $f:V(G){\rightarrow}\{0,\;1,\;2,\;{\ldots},\;2m-1\}$ such that the induced function $f^*:E(G){\rightarrow}\{1,\;3,\;5,\;{\ldots},\;2m-1\}$ defined by $f^*(uv)=f(u)+f(v)$ is bijection. While a bipartite graph G with partite sets A and B is said to be bigraceful if there exist a pair of injective functions $f_A:A{\rightarrow}\{0,\;1,\;{\ldots},\;m-1\}$ and $f_B:B{\rightarrow}\{0,\;1,\;{\ldots},\;m-1\}$ such that the induced labeling on the edges $f_{E(G)}:E(G){\rightarrow}\{0,\;1,\;{\ldots},\;m-1\}$ defined by $f_{E(G)}(uv)=f_A(u)-f_B(v)$ (with respect to the ordered partition (A, B)), is also injective. In this paper we prove that odd harmonious graphs and bigraceful graphs are equivalent. We also prove that the number of distinct odd harmonious labeled graphs on m edges is m! and the number of distinct strongly odd harmonious labeled graphs on m edges is [m/2]![m/2]!. We prove that the Cartesian product of strongly odd harmonious trees is strongly odd harmonious. We find some new disconnected odd harmonious graphs.
