  • In this paper, the direct and indirect adaptive controller are combined based on the Lyapunov synthesis approach. The Proposed controller is constructed from RBF Neural Network and weighting parameters are adjusted on-line according to some adaptation law. In this scheme, fuzzy IF-THEN rules are used to decide the combined weighting factor. In the results, proposed controller has the main advantages of both the direct adaptive controller and the indirect adaptive controller. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated through simulation results of control for one-link rigid robotics manipulator.

  • This paper presents a sliding mode observer and Controller far the state estimation and the dynamic stabilization of the magnetic levitation systems. The proposed striding mode observer is constructed by means of Lyapunov stability theorem to decrease the observer error, and the sliding rode controller is designed by a linear combination of the equivalent and nonlinear control input for the estimated states. The feasibilities of the suggested design method are illustrated with the simulation results.

  • This paper is discussed the design on non-linear adaptive attitude controller for quadrotor UAV. Quadrotor UAV featured to have four rotor, required the special controller to compensate for the model parameter uncertainties as the unstable nonlinear system. In this research, we designed the adaptive controller to compensate for the payload changes even though it is changed with industrial applications. Especially, based on the mathematical model of UAV, non-linear adaptive controller is suggested and the stability is verified using the Lyapunov function and finally proved its performance and effectiveness of update laws with various payload by simulation.

  • This paper presents a delay dependent fuzzy $H_{\infty}$ controller design method for delayed fuzzy dynamic systems. Using delay-dependent Lyapunov function, the global exponential stability and $H_{\infty}$ performance problem arc discussed. A sufficient conditions for the existence of fuzzy controller is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). A simulation example is given to illustrate the design procedures and performances of the proposed methods.

  • A robust attitude controller using Lyapunov redesign technique for spacecraft is proposed. In this controller, qua- ternion feedback is considered to have the attitude maneuver capability very close to the eigen-axis rotation. The controller consists of three parts: the nominal feedback parts which is a PD-type controller for the nominal system without uncertainties, the additional term compensating for the gyroscopic motion, and the third part for ensuring robustness to uncertainties. Lyapunov stability criteria is applied to stability analysis. The performance of the proposed controller is demonstrated via computer simulation.

  • In the paper propose a sensorless sliding mode control method of an induction motor using an adaptive speed control. The control objective is apply to adaptive speed observer instead of a encoder and to remove errors using the sliding mode current controller by parameters variation and disturbances that include the current controller. A stability of the sliding mode current controller and the adaptive speed observer using a design controller is guaranteed by the Lyapunov stability criterion. The performance of the proposed control system is demonstrated by simulation using the matlab silmulink and experimental results using induction motor show that the proposed method can apply an induction motor control.

  • This paper is concerned with the stability analysis and stabilization for the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy systems with parametric uncertainties. To reduce conservativeness in stability analysis for T-S fuzzy systems, fuzzy Lyapunov functions are used. Stability analysis is performed and robust fuzzy controller is designed for stabilization of the system with parametric uncertainties. The stability and stabilization conditions are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, simulation example is presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

  • We analyze the robustness of the existing predictor feedback controller for discrete-time linear systems with constant input delays against the structured model uncertainty. By modeling the constant input delay with a first-order PdE (Partial difference Equation), we replace the input delay with the PdE states. By applying a backstepping transformation, we build a target system that enables to construct an explicit Lyapunov function. Constructing the explicit Lyapunov function that covers the entire state variables, we prove the existence of an allowable maximum size of the structured model uncertainty to maintain stability and establish the robustness of the predictor feedback controller. The numerical example demonstrates that the stability of closed-loop system is maintained in the presence of the structured model uncertainty, and verifies the robustness of the predictor feedback controller.

  • The steam generator water level control system is studied as a class of randomly sampled nonlinear control systems. The sampling interval and the loop amplification factor are considered as random variables in order to take the operator behavior in account. Stochastic stability using Lyapunov method is used without determining such Lyapunov function. The derived stability criterion is verified with time-domain simulation using the data of CANDU type nuclear power plant, Wolsung 1.

  • We propose a direct adaptive controller for a class of nonlinearly parametrized systems. A normalized output error is added to the previous control law to construct the proposed adaptive controller. The transient performance of the resulting closed-loop system can be guaranteed by suitably choosing a novel kind of Lyapunov function while the tracking performance of the adaptive control system is improved using the proposed algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is illustrated with computer simulation.
