In this paper, we showed parasitic effects in the millimeter wave package, and proposed a suppression method of parasitic effects using Si lossy layer. From CB-CPW used as a transmission line of the MIMIC package, PPL mode is generated and this causes the parasitic effects considered from this paper. Parasitic effects caused by PPL mode such as resonance, radiation, and crosstalk in the single and multi-chip package ran affect to the performance of MIMIC seriously. To suppress these parasitic effects, we adapted Si lossy layer $\rho$ . The PPL mode can be suppressed by the lossy layer, and it eliminates the parasitic effects. It is expected that showed results ran be used as luxurious data for design MIMICs and various types of millimeter wave applications.

This research has been studied the influence of Song Dynasty mode upon clothes and ornaments of Korea Dynasty by Seo Gung's (徐競) 『SunWhaBongSa KoryoDoKyung』(宣和奉使高麗圖經) and in Korea Dynasty period, by Buddhist picture. The clothing of the Song Dynasty was quite reserved and conservative, fewer variations and quiter colours thus conveying a feeling of simplicity and naturalness. Their clothings were no more luxurious than the clothing of Dang Dynasty. We had read that when Seo Gung visited Korea for month, and then it is in Emperor Injong's reign(A.D. 1123). Korea women's clothes and ornaments were followed by Song dynasty's clothing pattern as much as the took notice of Korea women's clothing. Korea DoKyung showed Song women's clothing that whal clothing that whal clothing (華衣), Yuansam(圖經) were Korea women's a ceremonial dress and so, Koryo women's clothing were very influenced by Song's mode. The conclusion of the research are as follows found out that Korea women's a ceremonial dresses were similar to Song's.

조선 후기는 임진.병자 양난을 계기로 사회전반에 급격한 변화를 겪으며 근대 사회로의 전환기를 맞는다. 즉 전쟁으로 인한 국가제도의 문란과 혼란해진 사회구조 속에서 신분제도가 해이해졌고, 상업경제체제와 화폐경제의 발달로 인한 부유한 중인 계층이 대두되었고, 사상적으로는 유교가 공리공론에 빠지면서 유교윤리의 약화현상이 나타나면서 현실치중 의식을 보이는 실학사상이 등장 하였다. 또한 서민문예의 대두로 서민의식을 가진 서민계층(서민의식을 가진 양반계층 포함)이 등장하게 되었다.이 서민 계층의 등장은 복식에 있어서의 대중복식문화를 부각시키면서 유행현상이 출현되었다. 그리고 대중은 이 전환기 사회에서 변화된 그들의 역할과 가치관은 이제 더 이상 지배층에게서 영향력 행사할 충분한 권력이나 매력을 찾지 못했다. 따라서 이들은 새로운 상징적 선도자(Symbolic leaders) 즉, 모범을 보여주는 새로운 대상을 찾았고, 그들의 상징적 선도자는 바로 '자유분방하고, 사회활동을 하는 독립된 여성, 그리고 시와 가무를 즐기는 풍류가이고 또한 신체적으로 매력을 지닌 멋장이인' 기녀들 이었다. 선도자 그룹인 기녀계층에 의해 제시된 새로운 Fashion과 Style인 Erotic Mode와 사치 Mode는 그 시대 사조를 반영하면서 대중이 의식과 기호에 크게 맞아 떨어지자 큰 호응을 얻고 수용되었다. 즉 이들대중은 선도자 그룹을 모방 함으로써 그들과 자신들의 동일시를 성취하고 선도자의 Prestige를 나누어 가지고자 했던 것이다.이러한 이유로 해서 기녀들은 하류계층임에도 불구하고 조선후기 시대의 "패션의식적인"사회집단으로서 대중으로부터 주목받고 대중의 기호를 장악하며, 그들의 복식행동은 대중으로부터 강한 수용을 받게 되면서 대중의 의복 행동에 크게 영향을 미치는 유행선도자(Fashion leader)였음을 보게 된다.

The purpose of this study was to understand changes of the current young generation's lifestyle, aesthetic attitude for an appearance, and way of thinking by making a close investigation into metrosexual, the recent mode, and find out its cultural and social implications. As a method of the study, the literature and the Internet data were reviewed. Articles from newspapers, magazines and the Internet were chosen roughly from the year 2000 to now because metrosexual mode remarkably boomed before and after 2000. Books related to the theory on the mode in a costume culture were referred. Also, articles in daily newspapers which dealt with cultural and social issues were reviewed, fashion magazines for men such as Esquire and GQ showing the new trend in men's lifestyle and fashion were examined, and the Internet providing us the latest news from cultural and social topics to fashion trends were investigated. The backgrounds of the rise of metrosexual mode were a collapse of stereotypes in various fields, spread of lookism in a visual image period, extension of commercialism, and expansion of men's character casual trend. Metrosexual was defined as an urban male with a strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle. His fashion style was characterized by slim and flowing silhouette, feminine and luxurious materials such as transparent chiffon, silk and cotton with a light and soft touch, and a knitted wear with a flowing line, a wide variety of vivid and pastel colors, floral and geometric patterns, and the decorative details like lace, beads, embroidery, and fur. From spread of this mode, two cultural and social implications were extracted. Firstly, the current young generation's aesthetic standards for the perfect man changed from macho man to considerate man who had a good appearance and this suggested that a conventional sex role broke down. Secondly, men began to explore for their own identity escaping from traditionally standardized masculinity that they had been forced to follow.

As an automobile tends to be high grade, the needs for more luxurious interior and comfortable HVAC system are emerged. The defrosting ability is another major factor of the performances of HVAC system. The present work is to simulate the flow and the temperature field of cabin interior during the defrost mode. The three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations and energy equation were solved on the multi blocked grid system by the iterative time marching method and AF scheme, respectively. The present computations were validated by the comparison of the temperature field of a driven cavity and velocity field of 1/5 model scale of an automobile. Generally good agreements were obtained. By the present computation, the complicated features of flow and temperature within the automotive cabin interior could be well understood.

Purpose - Korean traditional markets are falling behind the times, because they have not met the demands of social changes including: an overall improvement in standards of living, shift in purchasing form and propagation of cars. It is one of the most indigenous and conventional foods of Korea, taking a seat far in the corner of Korean traditional culture. Research design / data / methodology - Korean traditional rice cakes however have their limits. They are produced and sold by independent shop owners who cannot compete with the brand power of franchise organizations. The leadership of adminstration is needed for these shop owners particularly in visual merchandising related to interior design and display. Results - Additionally, the advent of major company-run rice cake cafe adds fresh fuel to the problem in addition to small but luxurious packaging. Small business owners need packaging technology for overall quality improvement of sales of rice cakes. Additional help is needed with the mode of packing to promote sales and win consumer confidence. Conclusions - Further assistance with marketing for seasonal displays is needed as well as teaching business owners how to read graphic data. Regular specialized education for visual merchandising of rice cakes could help independent market owners win the competition against franchise-based organizations.

The Miaos have their own unique and luxurious culture traditional and modern formed as they have experienced repeated fusion into and resistance against the Han Race or the Chinese in their long and old history. Taijiang County of Guizhou Provice, in which whey have been living, is endowed with natural beauty. Thus their culture enjoys abundant and diverse contents of artificial and natural character. Naturally, their costume reflects cultural and natural features in abundance and variety. This dissertation aims to investigate the artistic character of Miaos' traditional costume as reflected in patterns for their embroidery. As for the artistic character of the patterns for embroidery, the following were found. To begin with, the space in the Miaos' embroidery is, unlike the measurable three-dimensional space found in Greek art, unmeasurable and fantastic with its beauty, majesty and peculiarity. It is as if immersed in limitless space, they were in communion with gods and universe. Another characteristic is the use of image construction beyond mere imitation. Their mode of image construction was realistic in that patterns as a whole reveal an abstract form or meaning but separately they portray visual representations of concrete thins in nature. Still another is that sense of motion conveyed by the basic curve line is full of life. It was the result of using light rhythm breaking stereotypic balance and symmetry. Finally, the colouring was abstract, and a strong contrast between black and white was gorgeous and fantastic.

The purpose of this thesis is to suggest the new ecology fashion through the comprehensive approach to analyze the difference of characteristics between ecology fashion established before the early 1990's and new ecology fashion advented in the late 1990's and create the design inspired by the image of new ecology fashion. As a method of accomplishing this research, the articles and magazines related to the fashion were examained. Also internet was surfied for studying social and cultural background of new ecology and examining the trend of new ecology expressed at design at first. Through examining the fashion mode in the late 1990's related to the trend of new ecology, the characteristics of new ecology fashion have been devided by the fabric, color and detail and drown out three images of new ecology fashion. The cultural background of new ecology is advent of fusion, techno and zen culture in the late 1990's. The characteristics of new ecology fashion are as follows. As regards of the fabrics, It's been used naturalized synthetic fabrics such as lycra and tencel produced by the advanced technology as well as luxurious natural fabrics. As the aspect of colors, on the basis of neutral colors shown to the previous ecology fashion, the wide range of colors including the vivid colors has been presented sophisticatedly. The most evident characteristic of new ecology fashion is the increase of details, along with keeping the minimal style. According to this trend of new ecology fashion, three charicteristic images can be extracted ; the techno ecology, the modern ecology and the romantic ecology. As the megatrend sustained during the late 1990's, the trend of new ecology was the mainstream not only of the fashion but also of the human life style, and has the potential continued in the 2000's.

The major purpose of this study is to obtain the evident and visual data about the changes of Korean dress with a socio-cultural context through dress depicted in the Korean films since the 1960s. For this purpose, after were Korean socio-cultural background including the history of Korean films and mass fashion trends reviewed, total fifteen Korean films by ten year were selected on the basis of contemporaneity popularity, and fashionability, and analyzed with the data reviewed before. And the results can be summarized as follows : Dress in the Korean films of the 1960s shows sporty casual took influenced by western style, with the popularity of young fashion and youth film. The typical styles are sac dress and mini skirt fur women, and suit with American silhouette for men. Unisex mode including slim T-shirts and blue jeans with European silhouette supt appears mainly in the Korean films of the 1970s, with the change of sex roles and mass fashion trend. Dress in the Korean films of the 1980s is characterized by bold silhouette and decorative details. with the boom of erotic metro-drama and luxurious fashion trend, such as padded jacket, X silhouette ensemble, brig look coat for women, and American style suit for men. Dress in the Korean films of the 1990s shows the rapid cycle of fashion with the increase of casual wear, reflecting the popularity of romantic comedy film and various socio-cultural circumstances. As a result, the current of dress depleted in the Korean films since the 1960s is summarized as the cycle of fashion accelerated, the similarity between men's and women's wear, and the increase of sporty casual wear. Also, dress in the films reflects effectively the socio-cultural context related to fashion except for especially emphasizing characters in films.

Medieval European practical art and style of costume is studied through referring to the literatures. The type of clothing that was seen on tapestries arts and crafts paintings and wall paintings and appeared in the architecture such as church. There were symbolic aspects of color motifs at this period and some restraints for clothing according to the social class, It was a period that draped garments due to the War of Crusades is appeared. Be-cause the medieval taste and decorative character is not only 'formative art' but also the taste beyoud 'mode' and atomsphere of that times it could be seen the strong reflec-tion of customs in the clothing of that times which is shown in works of art. 1) The purpose of Christian art which was found in mosaics stained glasses wall pain-tings and statues of architecture was not just the revival of natural phenomena but visuali-zation of sacred and invisible things. It was valuable to understandin of the spiritual through the sense organ It was a monumental art that was combined with decorative func-tion and role of the Bible. It revealed what was about the religious spiritual miracle, 2) In the medieval European painting characteristic and beautiful creativity was the basis of an argument. Both "Worship of East-ern" that is painted ion a parchment and "Cor-onation of Charles VI" were described decor-ation motifs on the edge of buildings geo-metric patterns and others with outstanding skill. there were precise technologic skill of architect and glassmen and lots of patience of craftsmen. " The Labour of the Months" and the scene of"A Trial at the Court" is also de-scribed elaborately. 3) Tapestry was developed in France Ger-many Swiss at the 14th century. Religionary and historical themes unicorn lady bird flowering plants and others were major motifs. It was very important as decorative wall coverings and as practical door arch and bed hangings. It was made through patient hard work with simple technique and it was con-sidered as an art for practical use. Tapestry was what everyone wish to have. It is reckoned for the item of the best gift.
