노동시장통합과 결혼 이행 (Labor Market Integration and Transition to Marriage)

  • 본 연구는 노동시장 통합이 결혼 이행에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 결혼 시점과 결혼 3년 전의 일자리 유무와 고용형태를 가지고 일자리의 안정성과 지속성이 초혼 형성에 유의한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 특히 1997년 외환위기 이전과 이후에 노동시장에 진입했을 가능성이 높은 두 집단을 코호트별로 나누어, 거시적인 사회경제적 변동 과정에서 노동시장통합이 결혼에 미친 차별적 영향에 대해 분석한다. 한국노동패널을 사용하여 2008년도 기준으로 18세 이상인 성인 남녀의 결혼 이행을 분석한다. 분석 결과, 취업상태와 정규직 근무는 남성의 초혼 형성 해저드는 높이는 반면 여성의 초혼 형성 해저드는 낮추었다. 장기무직, 즉 교육이나 군대 기간을 제외하고 결혼 전 3년 동안 2년 이상 무직 상태에 있을 때 남녀 모두 결혼이 지연될 가능성이 높았다. 정규직 근속기간이 2년 이상인 여성은 그렇지 않은 여성보다 결혼 해저드가 높아졌다. 정규직 근속기간이 긴 남성에게서는 이러한 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 또한 코호트별로 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 발견되어 최근의 사회경제적 불확실성과 노동시장 불안정화의 부정적 영향이 더욱 강화되었음을 시사했다.

타일 제조 작업자의 결정형 유리규산 노출평가 사례 (Exposure Assessment of Tile Manufacturing Workers to Crystalline Silica)

  • Objectives: An epidemiological investigation was requested for a worker who developed COPD and IPF after long-term molding and firing at a domestic tile manufacturing site. We would like to share the results of the exposure assessment and the estimation of past work. Methods: The content of crystalline silica in four raw materials was analyzed, and the respirable fraction of crystalline silica and dust generated in the air from molding and firing workers and other processes were measured. The measurement and analysis method referred to the NIOSH method. Results: The crystalline silica content of the raw material was 24~47%. The concentration of crystalline silica in the molding and firing process workers and the surrounding area was at the level of the exposure standards set by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and ACGIH, and the respirable and total dust exposure levels were generally low. The crystalline silica concentration of the area samples measured to estimate past work was about twice as high as the exposure standard of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (0.05 mg/m3), and the exposure levels of respirable dust were also quite high at 0.903 and 1.332 mg/m3. Conclusions: It was confirmed that tile molding and firing workers are currently exposed to a fairly high level of crystalline silica, and a high level is also confirmed in area samples to estimate past work. In the past, it is judged that the level of exposure would have been much higher due to differences in production volume, working method, presence/absence of local ventilation facilities, and process layout. When working in such a working environment for a long time, respiratory diseases such as lung cancer, COPD, and IPF can occur.

종합병원 근무자의 병가율 (Analysis of Sick Leave Rates of Employees in General Hospitals)

  • The objective of this study was examine sick leave rates of hospital employees. The sick leave data of 2,123 employees in three(3) general hospitals located in Seoul during the period from January 1, 1992 to December 31, 1992 was analyzed to achieve the study objective. The sick leave rates were computed in compliance with the standards recommended by the International Association on Occupational Health. Univariate analysis methods($X^2$-test and ANOVA) were used to assess the sourse of variance in the rates. The results were as follows : 1. The total annual rates of sick leave were 4.8% in frequency(persons), 0.23% in lost time, 0.68 days in duration and 14.0 days in severity. 2. The sick leave rates of frequency(person). duration and lost time were significantly higher in female than male, in groups of 40-49 years than in the other age group, the married than the unmarried and in the long employment of 8 years or above than the short employment. But there was no significant difference in the rate of severity. Only the sick leave rate of frequency(person) was significantly related to the educatial status, but there was no significant difference in other analytical factors of sick leave rate. 3. The main causes of sick leave were injury and poisoning(24.3%), and disease of the digestive system, disease of the nervous system and sense organs, and complications of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium(respectively 11.6%). The severity rate was the highest in neoplasms(32.2 days), and followed by endocrine, nutritional and metabolic disease and immunity disorders, injury and poisoning, and infections and parasitic disease in descending order. 4. The sick leave rates of frequency(person), duration and lost time were the highest in nutritional workers followed by registered nurses. However, severity rate was the highest in doctors and pharmacists and followed by in nutritional works. 5. The main cause of sick leave was complication of pregnancy, childbirth and puerperium in registered nurses(26.3%), injury and poisoning in nutritional workers(78.6%) and disease of respiratory system and digestive system in other workers.

TPE를 적용한 자동차 윈도우 모터커버의 개발 (Development of Automobile Windows Motor Cover by Thermoplastic Elastomer(TPE))

  • It was attempted to develop an auto part by over molding injection mold that produces precision products in high productivity with use of an eco-friendly TPE substitute material for NBR. NBR is currently used in motor gear cover, one of the key parts in motor module for auto doors. Gear cover is composed of plastics and rubber mostly today, which requires a two (2) step process for production using two presses of different types. A hot press is used at this time for forming the rubber, which has drawback of requiring a rather long forming time of 400 seconds for one forming process. Even though this difficulty is overcome by reducing production time through employment of multi-cavity molds, time for forming process must be shortened for improvement of the productivity eventually, and the existing method of insert injection for products that have been formed with plastic material must be outgrown. In this point of view, over molding injection using TPE has a big advantage. Forming time is shortened to 54 seconds, and working the two (2) processes in series by one (1) press could solve the durability problem caused by deflection of the plastics, not to mention shortening the process time. Enhancement of productivity by almost 80% and improvement in the accuracy of the product could thus be achieved.

기술변화에 따른 IT 서비스업의 숙련 미스매칭 분석 (An Analysis for the Skill Mismatching of IT Service Sector by Technology Changes)

  • 본 연구는 급격한 기술 변화의 흐름 속에서 IT서비스업 분야의 스킬 미스매칭에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 전문가 집단에 대한 심층 인터뷰 방식으로 연구가 진행되었다. 숙련노동의 수요자인 기업이 바라보는 IT 산업의 현황과 숙련노동의 공급과 관련된 교육자들이 바라보는 시각에 일부 차이가 있었다. 숙련에 대한 분석 도구로 중요도와 만족도에 대해 5점 척도를 사용하였다. 매칭이 이루어진 경우 주어진 항목들에 대한 중요도의 평균은 3.7점이었고, 만족도의 평균은 3.4점으로, 채용한 인력에 대해 어느 정도의 차이가 존재한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 한편 비전공자 교육생의 숙련도 수준에 대해서는 중요도의 평균이 3.79점이었으나, 만족도의 평균은 3.12점이었다. 학력, 학점, 자격증, 수상경력, 어학능력에 대해서는 중요도를 낮게 평가하는 공통점이 있었다. 전공역량의 중요도에 대해서는 매칭 전 집단에 대한 만족도보다는 매칭이 이뤄진 집단에서의 만족도가 평균 대비 높게 나타났다. 기업이 원하는 숙련은 다차원적인 역량을 포함하며, 주로 soft-skill 항목들과 관련이 높았다. IT 서비스업에 속한 기업들은 숙련 미스매치의 원인으로 산업의 인력구조가 세분화되어 있지 않은 것을 이유로 들었고, 교육기관에서는 시간의 불일치를 꼽았다. 전문가 집단들은 모두 향후 미스매치 갭이 확대될 것으로 보고 있었다. 숙련의 공급은 기술이 변해가는 속도를 따라가지 못할 것이라는 전망이었다. 갭의 해결 방안으로 전문가 모두 산학연 과정을 뽑았으며, 장기적인 안목에서 인력을 육성할 방안을 모색해야 한다고 했다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정년 60세 의무 법제화와 베이비붐 세대의 대량 은퇴에 따른 기업의 장년인력관리에 대한 사례를 살펴보고, 그에 따른 정책적 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 장년인력관리에 대한 기업의 대응방안 분석을 위해 전반적 인사관리 체계 별 채용 및 선발, 교육훈련 및 경력개발, 배치 및 승진, 평가 및 보상, 퇴직관리 등 총 다섯 단계로 나누어 살펴보았다. 연구의 시사점으로는 기업차원에서 입사부터 퇴사까지의 경력관리전략을 위한 장기적 관점의 프로그램 도입, 출향제도 정착, 임금피크제 확산, 퇴직관리를 위한 기업내부의 상시적 전직지원센터운영, 다양한 컨설팅 확대 및 최고경영진의 장년인력관리에 대한 인식의 전환이 시급히 요구된다. 정부차원에서 출향제도의 제도적 보완, 고용장려금 지원제도의 개선, 국가직무능력표준 기반 장년 고용분야 확대와 직무개발, 인사관리제도 혁신을 위한 지원 및 관리 매뉴얼 보급 그리고 국자차원의 생애전환기별 전직교육 실시가 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

대학생의 스트레스 감소와 모바일 게임시간에 관한 연구 (Study on Time of Mobile Game and Stresses Reduction of University Students)

  • Recent university students are under a lot of stresses due to academic performance, employment, and anxiety about the future in the fierce competition. Mobile games can be used as a plan which can reduce the stresses of these students. However, if they play too long the games, it will cause another big problems. In this paper, we experimented to look for the best mobile game time to alleviate the stresses of university students as follows. First, we chose 16 people which have more stress load than the average student through stress tests by the basic diagnosis questionnaire. Second, we did total eight experiments on the stresses of the subjects in the study. That is, the experiment was carried out once before the test, 6 times for the mobile game (60 minutes), and once before the experiment. Third, we did T-test and multivariate analysis on the collecting data. As a result, it is proved that the mobile game for about 20 minutes could derive the effect on reducing stresses.

The Imaginary WIG(Wing-In-Ground Effect) ship acquisition project applied the four processes(technical project, Enterprise & Agreement, Enabling Systems), the basis of INCOSE Engineering Handbook ver.3.1, and the each process output compared with DAPA(Defense Acquisition Program Administration)'s warship acquisition procedure.

Socioeconomic Changes and Value Modernization in China: Changes and Continuity 1993-2011

  • As China's economic development brings the country out of poverty and into modernity, a long-lasting debate concerns whether the Chinese public's value system is also changing toward the so-called "modern values," or whether some distinctly traditional Chinese values remain unchanged. Using empirical data collected at three points in time during the 1990s and the first two decades of the 21st Century (1993, 2002, and 2011), I found that Chinese citizens who benefitted from urbanization, rising levels of education and employment in non-farm, knowledge-based industries displayed stronger modern values. People with stronger modern values are more likely to emphasize individual autonomy, competition, gender equality, and market transaction, among others. Some characteristics of the Chinese people, most importantly family values, however, seem to remain stable amidst rapid social changes.

  • The Schumpeterian process of "creative destruction", associated with the emergence and diffusion of new radical, so-called "general purpose" technologies, has throughout history impacted wealth and income, jobs creation, jobs displacement, and the emergence and submergence of new hotspots of innovation. Emerging countries have benefited most from such a renewing of those societies' dynamics, leading them to higher levels of economic development and welfare. Doing so they have shown a remarkable capacity in moving upstream in the value chain, from outsourcing of manufacturing activities to autonomous process technology development, product development, design, and applied research. At the same time however, such Schumpeterian processes have now and then turned into exactly opposite processes of "destructive creation." Such processes seem to have become common among what could be called "submerging" economies: innovation only benefitting a few at the expense of many with as a result an opposite pattern of a long term reduction in overall welfare, productivity, and employment growth.
