Generally, the tons lifted and ton-kilometers are widely used to analyze the road freight transport. However, these two indicators are simply to show the road freight transport statistics rather than to explain the road freight transportation systems. In this study, the variables such as the number of distribution channel levels, the integral distance, tons in transport and the average transport distance are defined and estimated to investigate the road freight transport system of Korea. In order to compare the road transport system of Korea to other countries, the comparative study was conducted including USA, Japan, Holland and Taiwan. The major findings of this study are as follows; i) The number of distribution channel levels and integral distance of Korea and Taiwan have been increased, but the average transport distance decreased from 1971 to 1996 period. ii) On the contrary to Korea case, the number of distribution channel levels and integral distance of US, Japan and Holland have been decreased, but the average transport distance increased. iii) In the time-series model analysis shows that the number of distribution channel levels are statistically positively closely related to the logistics costs and the costs of transportation as a percentage of GDP.

Recently, the aviation industry faced a major crisis due to the impact of COVID-19. However, despite the sluggish passenger transportation, the cargo transportation sector is relatively maintained or increasing depending on the item. In this study, we will look at the trends before and after COVID-19, focusing on the cargo export field, which is a concern of the aviation industry. First, it analyzes the entire air cargo and then analyzes the trends of each item and country in detail. In particular, it examines the process of changes in air transport costs, which increased significantly immediately after COVID-19, and conducts future trends and prospects in the cargo export field. As a result of the study, some characteristics of air cargo exports before and after COVID-19 were found in an analysis by item and country, and transportation costs varied according to route distance.

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the methodology of optimizing delivery route scheduling using a capacity integer linear programming problem model developed to a previous case study. The methodology suggests a two-stage decision: the first, automatic, where the manager will obtain guidance generated by the solution of the linear programming model, later they could use post-optimization techniques to fine tune to the best operational solution. This study has the goal to reduce the size of service companies' ground transportation fleets, aiming not only to reduce costs and increase competitive advantages but also to lower levels of air pollution and its consequences, traffic and, therefore, the levels of carbon dioxide, allowing for a reduction in envir onmental disasters.

최근 GPS(Global Positioning System)와 무선통신 기술을 이용하여 화물의 위치정보를 파악하는 것이 용이해지고 있다. 해운물류산업에서는 글로벌화가 가속화됨에 따라 화물을 실은 선박의 입출항 확인, 물류차량의 물류거점별 진입여부 등 화물의 가시성, 추적성, 실시간 정보제공의 필요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 이러한 위치정보를 무선통신기술을 이용하여 물류주체에게 제공함으로써 공급사슬을 효율적으로 운영하고, 물류비용을 줄일 수 있다. 이전의 논문에서 GPS 데이터를 이용한 소프트웨어적인 방법으로 GPS 기반의 글로벌 위치추적 시스템을 제안한 바 있다. 그러나 이전 시스템에서는 실시간 위치이동 정보를 파악하기에 미흡한 문제점이 있었으며, 경도, 위도 좌표에 따른 글로벌 물류거점 위치를 신속하게 검색 및 조회하는 연구가 미비했었다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 실시간으로 해운물류 과정의 화물 위치를 파악하고 GPS 좌표에 따른 물류거점을 신속하게 검색할 수 있는 보완된 위치추적 시스템을 제안한다.

기업들의 경쟁이 지역적, 시간적 제약을 벗어나 세계화 되고 있는 현재, 고객 서비스 향상과 물류비용절감을 위해 효율적인 물류시스템을 구축하고 운영하는 것에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 기업들이 공동화지역을 이루어 비용 경쟁력을 가질 수 있는 친환경 산업단지의 필요성이 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 물류단지를 구축하기 위해서는 적절한 정책과 화물수송 공동화를 통한 물류시스템이 필요하다. 특히, 산업 단지내 물류시스템의 체계구축을 통한 효율적인 운영은 물류도시의 저비용 친환경적인 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 적절한 운영모델이 네트워크에 활용되면 집화된 수송량이 보다 적절한 수단들과 기술들에 의해 수송되기 때문에 효율성이 제고될 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 장점에도 불구하고 문제의 복잡성 등으로 인하여 네트워크 설계 연구는 활발하게 수행되지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 물류체계를 분석하고 분석내용을 바탕으로 물류단지의 모형화를 위한 기본설정 및 시뮬레이션을 통한 운영모형을 제시함으로서 물류산업단지의 기반구축 자료를 제시하는데 목적이 있다.

Subway metro scheduling is one of the most important problems impacting passenger convenience today. To operate efficiently, the Seoul metro uses regular, periodic schedules for all lanes, both north and southbound. However, many past studies suggest that non-periodic scheduling would better optimize costs. Since the Seoul metro is continuously facing a deficit, adopting a non-periodic schedule may be necessary. Two objectives are presented; the first, to minimize the average passengers' waiting time, and the second, to minimize total costs, the sum of the passenger waiting time, and the operational costs. In this paper, we use passenger smart card data and a precise estimation of transfer times. To find the optimal time-table, a genetic algorithm is used to find the best solution for both objectives. Using Python 3.5 for the analysis, for the first objective, we are able to reduce the average waiting time, even when there are fewer trains. For the second objective, we are able to save about 4.5 thousand USD with six fewer trains.

Enormous flocks by the reduced life cycle of products caused by the technological innovation if later 20 century, development of new materials and diversified demands of customers appeared as the pressing element causing the trouble in management of companies, and when considering the logistic costs that are imposed to companies in terms of function, the costs related to the stock topped the list of costs, followed by the transportation ones, and for pallet pool system, inventory of stocks is very difficult by the number of companies. Reducing the logistic cost may be accomplished by numbers of logistic management methods, but the most fundamental and essential one is the accomplishment of the consistent pallet system that is the core of unit load system, and the purpose of consistent pallet system is the treatment of logistic functions such as transportation, storage and unloading with consistent pallet system, and increasing the turnover ratio is required for the improvement of the system. As the turnover ratios is increased, more pallets will be used so, numbers of empty pallets will be increased accordingly by returning the pallet. Therefore, in this study, we will establish the effective stock management system by comparing with the other existing stock management system after looking at the concept and examples of pallet full system in order to resolved this kind of problem.

The most of international shipping cargoes are transported by ship and the shipping market has been continuously increasing. However, due to the recent global recession, the volume of trade decreased accordingly, and the competition between shippers to gain a competitive advantage in the shipping market continues deepening. To do this, researches on transportation costs savings as well as ways to improve customer service are needed and recently related researches are being pursued. Car carriers which transport more than 80% of car import and export volume in the world also make a lot of effort in order to reduce transportation costs, but in contrast related researches are seldom fulfilled. In this study, we developed an agent system that supports the efficient transportation of car carriers plan so that the car carriers can increase competitiveness through reduction of the logistics costs. To make this, we researched an algorithm for maritime transportation planning, and also developed a prototype of an agent system which can collect the necessary information in real time and establish a dynamic plan.

항만 간 경쟁이 심화되면서 기존 선사들의 이탈을 방지하고, 신규 선사를 유치하기 위한 새로운 마케팅 전략과 기존의 핵심서비스와 다른 차별화된 수단이 필요하게 되었다. 부가서비스와 보상프로그램의 체계를 살펴본 후, 이들 변수가 고객유지에 대한 관점에서 관계결속에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 또한 기존에 소비재시장에서 이루어진 차별화된 서비스 제공이 컨테이너터미널 대상으로 산업재시장에서는 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 살펴보았다. 컨테이너터미널을 이용하는 고객들을 심리적 행동관점에서 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 공급사슬에서 발생하는 혜택과 보상이 전환비용과 관계결속에 미치는 영향을 구조방정식모형으로 제시하였다. 제안된 연구모형을 컨테이너 터미널의 이용자를 대상으로 실증 분석하여 시사점을 도출하였다.

Quality Assurance Method of Defense Logistics Agency, U. S. A., was changed from Contract Quality Assurance Program to In-Plant Quality Evaluation in May, 1990. IQUE focuses on working with contractor in spirit of team work to measure and continuously improve processes and resulting product quality. The goals are to achieve customer satisfaction, improved product quality, and a reduction in the costs of items and ownership. It is suggested to adopt and apply the IQUE method to the effective accomplishment of Korean aircraft projects.
