With the rapid development of global economic and trade, the ports in the North-east Asia region have developed rapidly. Ocean shipping plays an irreplaceable role in China's foreign trade. Improvement of China's economy and continuous increase of trade in North-East Asia have made China as the number one in the world in container transport. Tianjin port which is the biggest international trade port in North-east China. Tianjin Binhai New District has incorporated in (CPC Central Committee on the outline of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan for national economic and social development proposals) which had adopted by The Fifth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee. However, the competitions between ports are getting intense, the construction of Northeast Asia shipping center is in the ascendant, which bring new opportunity and challenge to the development of Tianjin port logistics. Therefore, Tianjin should according to its characteristics, integrating port resources, exert great efforts in developing port logistics, thus promoting regional economic development. Therefore, it is necessary to make the main study on the development strategy of Tianjin port logistics.

Logistics has become a key element in a shipping firm's overall strategy, now that the concept of logistics has expanded into one that is more comprehensive and integrated. furthermore, the global shipping market is the most competitive market in the world. In this environment, shipping firms are using Logistics Information Systems (LIS), which help them to save time and reduce costs. As such, LIS has become a critical part of Korea's attempts to develop Its national logistics system and industry. In this light, this study attempted to empirically determine the critical elements necessary for effective shipping LIS implementation and to then analyze how these elements are related to actual logistics performance within the shipping industry. The research results show that the sample firms considered the following factors to be most Important to an effective LIS: the support of top management; an efficient and well-structured communication channel; a solid strategic implementation plan; and a high level of information analysis internally. Other factors mentioned as being somewhat significant included MIS organization and human resources, MIS discipline and training, software development capabilities, MIS organizational alignment, database management systems information standardization, competitive advantage, financial support and government support The main problems with current shipping LIS include the expensive cost of systems, lack of standardized working processes, and weak organizational structures.

Computer-aided logistics support system is recognized an essential system to reduce supply and maintenance cost, and to improve readiness of weapon system or operationable composite machines. According to these trends, this paper focuses on the design scheme and the computerization strategy of information management system for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) work. Suggested system. LAMIS(Logistics support Analysis Management Information System) is a total system that composed of Logistics Support Analysis Management information system (LSAM), Configuration Management Information System (CMIS), Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS), Project Management System (PMS) and Information Retrival System(IRS) etc. Also, LAMIS is a computerized tool that improves current supply and maintenance support program, that attempts to reliable requirment analysis of logistics support elements, and that supports to use the existing technical specification of similar one when weapon system acquisition project is started newly. When LAMIS implication is completed, it can be applied to logistics support of defense or commercial site. Straightway, LAMIS will be enhanced with computer - aided design system, engineering drawing system, interactive electronic technical manual system, electronic data interchange system, and three dimensional simulation system to weapon system configuration. When that is done, LAMIS is CALS system.

Horizontal cooperation is seen as an effective way to raise a competitive advantage in logistics and transportation. However, there are many logistics enterprises still operating individually instead of cooperating. This research aims to investigate the factors influencing the decision of horizontal cooperation by surveying a large sample of Vietnamese logistics companies. This study employs 161 logistics companies to examine correlations between potential factors and horizontal collaboration. The structural equation model (SEM) was used to test the conceptual model and the relationships among variables. The findings revealed that information sharing was the most important predictor of 161 supply chain providers' horizontal collaboration decisions, which resulted in increased profitability or service quality. Besides, trust in partners was found to be positively related to the degree of horizontal cooperation among logistics companies. Finally, the finding of this research is that reputation had a positive effect on the strategy of horizontal cooperation. Our findings suggest that SME managers should be concerened about their information sharing, their reputation as well as their trust in partners if they would be invited in cooperation with another firm to increase service quality, performance, and competitive advantage.

The goal of the company and profit maximization can be achieved by creating revenue or reducing costs. What can be done by the effort of the firm itself is possible through cost-reduction rather than through revenue-creation. Under this economic situation, one of the best way for cost-reduction is to reduce cost of logistics. But logistics costs of a firm is continually increased because of the various customer-satisfaction, competition. This study considers that logistics cost management system be able to apply business practice through to used only a merit of CVP(Cost - Volume Profit) analysis method for effective decision making. To conclude, this study depicts that logistics cost management according to used a merit of CVP analysis method can provide information useful for making strategy of logistics. In short, It is reduce to more costs of logistics investment than are necessary. and, I will expect a man who charge logistics to improvement, adaptation, and application.

Currently, despite having active movements related to port logistics security, there is lack of awareness, education, and security systems related to port technology. Before implementing port logistics security, a mutual authentication agreement should be reached through the establishment of an integrated network that can share port logistics security information in real time. In order to achieve port competitiveness and strengthen logistics service, establishment of national strategy for logistics security is necessary. However, there is an urgent need to raise the security consciousness among the port logistics organization members and enhance the information security ability which is a crucial feature of the port logistics organization. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the information security capacity of port logistics organization members. Even though the analysis rejected the hypothesis that security regulations affect security awareness, the security activities and security awareness were significantly correlated. It also has a positive impact on the relationship between security norms and security abilities, and security awareness and security abilities.

This paper investigates the circumstances and conditions of Mokpo Port to develop it as an international logistics stronghold and seeks scheme to maximize the local economic ripple effect through construction and activation of Mokpo New Port. Under the circumstances in which neighboring ports vying with each other have built broad spheres of influence, and competition among ports becomes fierce, a priority cargo attraction strategy should be established by using Mokpo's favorable location compared to other ports in order to ensure that a large quantity of goods is transported from Mokpo New Port. Especially, Mokpo New Port needs to be developed as a vehicles-only exporting port, as well as a port for used car exports and an import port for stones and timber.

Logistics company strives for satisfaction of customer service. the internal clients of corporation, the engineers of driver enhance their thinking about customer orientation by education of important about customer services. the study reached the conclusion that result which analyzed the important fact of enhancing customer orientation strategy by AHP show an ability of dealing with customer improves customer orientation strategy. because the desire of customer is various, it is difficult to have standard of dealing thought, the program of improvement of dealing ability should be developed and trained to improve customer orientation.

The reliability is defined as a probability that a system will operate properly for a specified period of time under the design operating conditions without failure and it has been considered as one of the major design parameters in the field of industries. Reliability-Redundancy Optimization Problem(RROP) involves selec tion of components with multiple choices and redundancy levels for maximizing system reliability with constraints such as cost, weight, etc. However, in practice both active and cold standby redundancies may be used within a particular system design. Therefore, a redundancy strategy(active, cold standby) for each subsystem in order to maximize system reliability is considered in this study. Due to the nature of RROP, i.e. NP-hard problem, A Parallel Particle Swarm Optimization(PPSO) algorithm is proposed to solve the mathematical programming model and it gives consistently better quality solutions than existing studies for benchmark problems.

Platform standardization is widely used in commercial auto industries and other industries to acquire cost reduction as well as high reliability. This paper reviews some application examples and estimates expected effect of Korean army's platform standardization for combat system and combat support system. Also, military platform standardization based on utilization of commercial vehicles has been studied with the standard vehicles used in Korean army. It is estimated that outstanding results may be achieved if a dual platform, the public and military platforms, is utilized. So, when the strategy of the military transportation system is decided, "dual use" concept is necessary and this could maximize the effect of the military strategy reinforcement.
