We show how a supplier can peg cost measures to the reliability of his time guarantees via the penalty costs considered in the framework. The framework also enables us to study the connections between the logistics network and the market. In this context, we show that even when the market base increases significantly, the supplier can still use the logistics network designed to satisfy lower demand density, with only a marginal reduction in profit. Finally we show how the framework is useful to evaluate and compare various logistics system improvement strategies. The supplier can then easily choose the improvement strategy that increases his profit with the minimal increase in his logistics costs.

The objective of this paper is to identify the problems of Korean inland transportation system and suggest the improvement plan for reducing the export logistics cost. The results are as follows: (1) Expansion of logistics hub facilities : Logistics hub facilities- integrated freight terminal and ICD, etc. can shorten the empty leg and reduce the logistics cost. (2) Design for CVO(Commercial Vehicle Operations) : CVO has various functions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of freight transportation. (3) Rationalization of freight transportation industry : In particular, the deregulation of the motor freight industry and the privatization of the railway industry induce the competition among their firms and undercut the transportation rates in the long run. (4) Use of third-party logistics : The benefits of TPL are system reliability, improved customer service, and more efficient cost performance.

Purpose: In the last few decades, the ceramic industry has become an important industry for Indonesia. The resulting product must be handled properly, because if material & product handling is not carried out properly it will impact on the quality of product. Based on the logistics outsourcing research gaps in the ceramics industry to logistics service provider (LSP), this study aims to analyze the logistics service improvement of LSP in accordance with the needs of the ceramic industry to minimize logistics outsourcing risks. Research design, data and methodology: In the field study, observations, interviews and surveys related to production and logistics activities in the ceramic industry & LSP were carried out. The next step is to analyze logistics service of LSP needed by the ceramic industry. Results: The final findings obtained from this research are the LSP need to improve 1) knowledge; 2) technology capability; 3) relationships; 4) service quality; 5) innovation; 6) commitment in services. Conclusion: In order to reduce logistics outsourcing risks in the ceramic industry, LSP in Indonesia need to improve the logistics services required by the ceramic industry with a focus on six areas of improvement.

본 논문은 국방군수분야에서 가장 중요한 기능을 수행하는 핵심체계인 탄약물류를 4차산업혁명 기술을 활용하여 예측이 가능한 스마트탄약물류시스템을 구축하는 방안을 제시하였다. 국내외 물류정책 및 기술동향, 탄약물류 특성과 국토교통부의 스마트물류센터 인증기준을 고려해 분석한 결과, 군의 탄약물류수준은 매우 낮은 수준으로 시급한 개선이 필요하였다. 이를 개선하기 위해 탄약물류분야에 적용할 수 있는 유무선 기반 현장 자동화, 스마트 탄약고 구축, 육해공군 물류 혁신 등 각종 구축 사례를 분석한 후 도출된 시사점을 기반으로 탄약물류의 발전방향을 제시하였다. 구체적인 발전내용으로 전장 환경 변화에 부합하면서 총수명주기관점의 혁신과 효율성 달성이 가능한 데이터 기반 스마트 탄약물류관리체계를 구현하기 위해 현장업무 자동화 및 첨단화, 3D 기반 저장공간 관리 및 전시 불출 개선, 예측 중심의 탄약물류를 위한 Data 관리체계 등 4가지 목표를 제시했다. 제시된 내용을 기반으로 기대효과로는 작전지속능력 향상, 탄약신뢰성 보장, 많은 예산 절감, 지체와 대기, 이중 작업 등 비효율 대폭 개선, 안전사고 감소 등이 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Many researcher working in logistics tried to define concept of the logistics and its arena to study. However, there has not been much improvement. Thus, it caused the delay in the progress of the logistics study. Most of the earlier definition of the logistics mainly considered from the point of Physical Distribution Management and Business Logistics. I proposed a new definition of the logistics and the area to research which reflecting the total of whole system and the functional areas of the logistics.

Recently the recongnition of Logistics becomes important to enterpries as a means for improving their competition, but the Korea enterpries falls for far behind in management techniques for analyzing realities and problems in the Logistics compare to the advanced countries. Especially the function of inventory control which is most undeveloped in them should be improved in Korea. Inventory is very important in Logistics, but there exists trade-off between inventory level and customer in the service level. It is difficult to coordinate both the reduction in the inventory level and the enhancement in the service level. Its effective technique is a DRP system. In general, it deals with arborescent distribution network in which a given channel member has a single source of supply. This article aims to present a DRP system, and more a DRP system which is flexible and responsive in the multisourcing, multi-echelon distribution network. Related research issues are discussed. Finally, using a DRP system on logistics and the management performance. So we can help the physical distribution improvement of the Korean enterprises.

The aim of this paper is to establish the evaluation system of improving urban logistics using the QFD(Quality function Deployment) model which can facilitate to grasp the improving degree of realizing the system conforming to the relationship of all process and the process improvement. At the first stage, the established system through the QFD method will be used to evaluate and diagnosis the level of urban logistics in Cheonbuk District. The second stage is to investigate the important components that can make prompt improvement of urban logistics. Then, the sensitivity analysis is to be performed and the degree of improving urban logistics will be presented according to the rising degree of the relevant components.

The paper draws the scales of supply and shortages of port logistics area's human resources based upon the future prospect of its supply and demand. Due to the problems that we face today with human resources training and inequality between the levels of demand and supply, introduction of a new training system by local universities and their overall improvement are brought up as the needs of the times. In order for these to happen, the local universities need to assure originality by specializing Port Logistics area. They need to develop demand-oriented port logistics education programs through establishment of cooperation among the universities, as well as expand qualitative and quantitative improvement their educational programs. In addition the local universities have to act as the central of nurturing local talents by developing an educational-governmental cooperation, leading port & logistics' educational policy as think-tank and producting ready-to-work talent.

국내 제조업체(중소기업)에서는 물류비용을 줄이며 물류효율화를 위하여 3자물류기업에게 위탁운영을 하고 있으며, 이로서, 물류 관리요소 감소 및 관련 클레인 저감 등으로 고객 대응 물류서비스를 향상시키고 있다. 최근 물류서비스가 고객만족도에 많은 영향을 미치며 특히, 비용에 미치는 영향에 관한 구체적인 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 먼저, 3자물류기업의 물류서비스 향상 요인에 대하여 설문을 바탕으로 각 요인별로 분석을 행하며, 각 요인에 대한 민감도 분석을 통하여 물류서비스 향상 대비 비용절감 효과에 대해 정량적인 분석을 행하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 S사를 대상으로 물류서비스 요인의 증감에 대해 물류비용과의 상관관계를 사례를 통하여 밝히고자 한다.
