In upper elementary period school adjustment and the effect of parenting face a new set of dynamics. We assumed that parental supervision, affection, incoherence, over-expectation, over-interruption and logical explanation would have an effect on individual trajectories in the development of school adjustment. Additionally, we hypothesized that this model would be different among boys and girls. In this study we analyzed three waves of data collected from 2,378 children nationwide in South Korea. This data was gathered from the Panel Study of Korean Youth and Adolescents conducted by the National Youth Policy Institute(NYPI). Growth-curve longitudinal analysis was conducted and the results indicate that levels of school adjustment had decreased through the $4^{th}$ to $6^{th}$ grade. Parents' supervision, affection and logical explanation significantly predict children's initial school adjustment as well as their rate of decrease in their levels of school adjustment. Parents' supervision had a positive effect on girls' school adjustment. Parents' over-expectation had negative effect on boys' school adjustment levels. Policy implications and future directions for research were also discussed.
We introduce a high level synthesis methodlogoy for automatic synthesis of asynchronous circuits form a language based on CSP. The input language is a high level concurrent algorithmic specification that can model complex concurrent control flow, logical and arithmetic computation and communications between them. This specification is translated into petri net which has actions. These actions are refined to synthesize the controllers and to allocate the data resources. We use the automatic synthesis through signal transition graphs (STGs) that allows to take advantage of logic synthsis methods to optimize the circuit.
The evaluation of risk level or possibility of traffic accidents is a fundamental task in reducing the dangers associated with current transportation system. However, due to the lack of data and basic researches for identifying such factors, evaluations so far have been undertaken by only the experts who can use their judgements well in this regard. Here comes the motivation this thesis to evaluate such risk level more or less in an automatic manner. The purpose of this thesis is to test the fuzzy-logic theory in evaluating the risk level of traffic accidents. In modeling the process of expert's logical inference of risk level determination, only the geometric features have been considered for the simplicity of the modeling. They are the visibility of road surface, horizontal alignment, vertical grade, diverging point, and the location of pedestrain crossing. At the same time, among some inference methods, fuzzy composition inference method has been employed as a back-bone inference mechanism. In calibration, the proposed model used four sites' data. After that, using calibrated model, six sites' risk levels have been identified. The results of the six sites' outcomes were quite similar to those of real world other than some errors caused by the enforcement of the model's output. But it seems that this kind of errors can be overcome in the future if some other factors such as driver characteristics, traffic environment, and traffic control conditions have been considered. Futhermore, the application of site's specific time series data would produce better results.
In various fields of information technology, it is growing up the needs about dynamic content management systems to store and manage SGML(Standard Generalized Markup language) documents in a database system. In this paper, we consider the issue of storing SGML documents that having complex hierarchical structure into a database system, and then propose a data model based on ODMG(Object Database Management Group) object model in order to store SGML documents without loss of information. Because the proposed data model reflects physical element structure and logical entity structure of SGML documents, it is able to store the SGML document in a database system at the system at the element- level granularity without any information loss. And also the proposed data model can be adapted among ODMG-compliant object database management systems. Finally, we will discuss on the implementation details of SGML repository system supports the functionality of automatic database schema creation for any DTD(Document Type Definition0, the functionality of storing the SGML document, the functionality of dynamic document assembly from stored database objects to SGML document, and the functionality of indexing and searching for database objects.
This research, through the analysis of existing programs, presents a simplified logical program which can show the thermal performance of a system, based only on hourly weather data and the system design data. This program is applicable for analyzing a system of direct heating or recirculation heating which may enhance the performance of an existing solar house. Using these system in the existing systems a little raise in performance. The model analysis of a $100\;m^2$ solar house in the seoul region shows that the following figures are the most efficient and suitable; 1. Installation an81e of collector: $45^{\circ}$ 2. Collector size: $34.56\;m^2$ 3. Capacity of main storage tank: $25\;m^3$

Object orientation has become the predominant paradigm for conceptual modeling (e.g., UML), where the notions of class and object form the primitive building blocks of thought. Classes act as templates for objects that have attributes and methods (actions). The modeled systems are not even necessarily software systems: They can be human and artificial systems of many different kinds (e.g., teaching and learning systems). The UML class diagram is described as a central component of model-driven software development. It is the most common diagram in object-oriented models and used to model the static design view of a system. Objects both carry data and execute actions. According to some authorities in modeling, a certain degree of difficulty exists in understanding the semantics of these notions in UML class diagrams. Some researchers claim class diagrams have limited use for conceptual analysis and that they are best used for logical design. Performing conceptual analysis should not concern the ways facts are grouped into structures. Whether a fact will end up in the design as an attribute is not a conceptual issue. UML leads to drilling down into physical design details (e.g., private/public attributes, encapsulated operations, and navigating direction of an association). This paper is a venture to further the understanding of object-orientated concepts as exemplified in UML with the aim of developing a broad comprehension of conceptual modeling fundamentals. Thinging machine (TM) modeling is a new modeling language employed in such an undertaking. TM modeling interlaces structure (components) and actionality where actions infiltrate the attributes as much as the classes. Although space limitations affect some aspects of the class diagram, the concluding assessment of this study reveals the class description is a kind of shorthand for a richer sematic TM construct.
SPAX(Scalable Parallel Architecture computer based on X-bar network)상에 자료 분산 기능을 제공하기 위한 설계 주안점과 효율적인 모델에 관하 여 기술하였다.
Multidimensional efforts such as budgeting, organizing, and institutionalizing are being carried out for the adoption of defense AI. However, there is little interest in eliminating duplication of defense resources that may occur during the AI adoption. In this study, we propose a theoretical conceptual model to optimize duplication of AI technology that may occur during the AI adoption in the vast defense field. For a systematic approach, the JCA of the US DoD and system abstraction method are applied, and the IMO logical structure is used to decompose AI requirements and identify duplication. As a result of analyzing the effectiveness of our conceptual model through six example defense AI requirements, it was found that the amount of requirements of data and AI technologies could be reduced by up to 41.7% and 70%, respectively, and estimated costs could be reduced by up to 35.5%.
