IEEE 802.16m 시스템에서 HARQ 피드백 정보를 이용한 ARQ 프로토콜 성능 개선 (Performance Improvement of ARQ Protocol using HARQ Feedback Information in IEEE 802.16m Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 IEEE 802.16m 시스템에서 HARQ 피드백 정보를 이용한 ARQ 프로토콜 (HARQ and ARQ interactions)을 사용할 때 HARQ 피드백 오류가 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 또한, HARQ 피드백 오류를 고려한 새로운 HARQ and ARQ interactions 기법을 제안한다. HARQ and ARQ interactions 기법은 ARQ 피드백 메시지를 대신하여 HARQ 피드백 정보를 사용하여 재전송 시간을 단축함으로써 시스템 throughput을 증가시킨다. 그러나 HARQ 피드백 메시지에 오류가 발생하는 경우 성능 열화가 발생 할 수 있다. 특히, HARQ 피드백 오류 중 Local NAK 오류가 발생 시 ARQ 블록의 유실로 인한 성능 열화가 심각하다. 본 논문에서는 HARQ Local NAK 오류를 고려하고 채널상태에 적응적으로 동작하는 HARQ and ARQ interactions 기법을 제안한다. 모의실험을 통해 제안한 기법 사용 시 throughput 및 delay 성능 향상을 확인하였고, 이를 정량적으로 분석하였다.

  • In this paper, we introduce a conservative control approach using a full feedback map and suggest a switching control between the conservative and default control. For the conservative control, we use the coordinator which performs the conjunction operation of the full feedback map information of local supervisors. Since the switching control with the coordinator extends the ability of local supervisors in the decentralized supervisory control, we can solve the problem in case the coobservability condition can not be satisfied.

  • Relevance feedback is the most popular query reformulation strategy in a relevance feedback cycle, the user is presented with a list of the retrieved documents and, after examining them, marks those which are relevant. In practice, only the top 10(or 20) ranked documents need to be examined. The main idea consists of selecting important terms, or expressions, attached to the documents that have been identified as relevant by the user, and of enhancing the importance of these terms in a new query formulation. The expected effect is that the new query will be moved towards the relevant documents and away from the non-relevant ones. Local analysis techniques are interesting because they take advantage of the local context provided with the query. In this regard, they seem more appropriate than global analysis techniques. In a local strategy, the documents retrieved for a given query q are examined at query time to determine terms for query expansion. This is similar to a relevance feedback cycle but might be done without assistance from the user.

As a result, the size of the output might be too large or too small.   • 순수한 부울 검색 시스템은 문서와 질의 사이의 유사 도를 나타내는 문서 값을 계산할 수 없기 때문에 검색된 문서들을 질의를 만족하는 정보에 따라 정렬할 수 없다. 부울 검색 시스템의 이러한 단점을 보완하는 방법으로 MMM 모델, Paice 모델 P-norm 모델이 개발되었다. 이러한 방법들은 부울 연산자를 유연하게 연산하는 공통된 특성을 지니고 있다. 본 논문에서는 높은 검색 효과를 제공하는 지역적 문맥 분석 피드백(Local Context Analysis Feedback)을 이용한 웹 정보 검색 모델을 이용한다. 지역적 문맥 분석 피드백 모델의 연산 특성이 MMM(Max and Min Model), Paice, p-norm 모델보다 우수함을 설명하고, 또한 성능 비교를 통하여 이를 입증한다.

  • A new stabilization scheme is proposed in which the local state feedback is utilized in each decentralized controller for large-scale interconnected systems. In the proposed scheme, the controller is designed in two steps. First, the feedback gain of each decentralized controller is temporarily chosen so that the eigenvalues of each isolated subsystem are placed at the desired locations in the complex plane. Secondly, the feedback gain of each controller is compensated so that the time derivative of the Lyapunov function candidate for the overall closed-loop system should be negative. A sufficient condition which assures the global system to stable is given.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선인지 시스템에서 궤환 오류를 고려한 협력 스펙트럼 센싱 기법에 대해서 제안한다. 협력 센싱에서는 각 부사용자의 자체 센싱 결과를 결합하여 최종 판정을 내리게 되는데, 부사용자가 정확한 자체 센싱결과를 내리더라도 궤환 채널의 상태가 좋지 않은 경우 이를 협력 센싱을하는데 직접적으로 사용할 수 없게 된다. 본 논문에서는 궤환 채널 상태가 좋은 사용자만 선택하여 협력 센싱에 참여하도록 함으로써 목표 오검출 확률을 만족하면서 정검출 확률을 최대화 시키는 협력 센싱 기법에 대해 제안한다.

  • This paper summarises theoretical and experimental work on the feedback control of sound radiation from honeycomb panels using piezoceramic actuators. It is motivated by the problem of sound transmission in aircraft, specifically the active control of trim panels. Trim panels are generally honeycomb structures designed to meet the design requirement of low weight and high stiffness. They are resiliently-mounted to the fuselage for the passive reduction of noise transmission. Local coupling of the closely-spaced sensor and actuator was observed experimentally and modelled using a single degree of freedom system. The effect of the local coupling was to roll-off the response between the actuator and sensor at high frequencies, so that a feedback control system can have high gain margins. Unfortunately, only relatively poor global performance is then achieved because of localisation of reduction around the actuator. This localisation prompts the investigation of a multichannel active control system. Globalised reduction was predicted using a model of 12 channel direct velocity feedback control. The multichannel system, however, does not appear to yield a significant improvement in the performance because of decreased gain margin.

Teacher Written Feedback: Learner Preferences, Perceptions, and Teacher Reflections

  • Teacher written feedback on student compositions has received tremendous attention in second language (L2) writing research. Notwithstanding the importance of understanding both teachers' and students' perspectives on the feedback process, much of the feedback research has only looked into one-side of the story - adopting either the teacher's or the student's perspective. The current study is an attempt to look into both sides of the story by examining the types of written feedback that students prefer, the extent to which students' preferences and teachers' actual feedback practice overlap, and the extent to which student perceptions of teacher feedback coordinate teacher self-reflections on their feedback practice. Three English composition classes (3 teachers and 46 students) at a university participated in this study. It analyzed student and teacher data from questionnaires and teacher written feedback on student compositions. The results showed that students' preference for feedback on global and local issues varied across the three composition classes. This is partly a consequence of how students perceived the type of feedback that their teachers practiced. Teacher self-reflection on and student perception of teacher written-feedback generally coordinated. These findings are discussed in light of how contextual factors affect learner perception of teacher written feedback and underscore the need for examining students' reactions to feedback and teacher self-reflection.

일부 지역 치위생(학)과 학생들의 자기결정성이 수업참여에 미치는 영향: 교육자의 피드백 유형의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The effect of some local dental hygiene and students' self-determination on class participation: Focusing on the mediating effect of educators' feedback types)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to understand the effect of learners' self-determination on class participation, focusing on the feedback type of educators. Methods: A survey was conducted from May 1 to May 31 2021 on dental hygiene students, and a total of 151 valid responses were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics, self-determination, class participation, and educator's feedback type. The analysis method used correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: In relation to self-determination, class participation, and feedback type of educators, self-determination was positive feedback (r=0.338, p<0.01), class participation was corrective feedback (r=0.418, p<0.01), and positive feedback was correction (r=0.742, p<0.01). As a result of the mediating effect of the educator's feedback type in the relationship between self-determination and class participation, it was found to be significant by partially mediating positive and corrective feedback. Conclusions: It was found that the right to self-determination influences class participation based on positive feedback and corrective feedback of educators. It relates to efforts to strengthen learners' self-determination and provide appropriate types of feedback from educators.
