Therefore, this examines: First, history of tea and the characteristics of tea culture space from Gochosun to modern times was reviewed Second, psychological factors (spirit of tea) of Korea tea culture space were reviewed. Third, the connection between the concept of tea culture space and Human Ecosystem Model by was analyzed. Also, this thesis examined how the culture of ecosystem and why tea culture space is needed. because tea includes varieties of ingredients for protecting environmental pollution. Finally, tea culture spaces were reviewed each region during Chosun dynasty, and tea culture space of recent tea users. In order to study tea culture space, complex residential area and single residential areas were compared. The useful of tea culture space as a ecological space was also examined. To achieve the purpose of this study, related literatures were reviewed, and investigations of museums and a survey on modern living space were also conducted. The results show that the space of our tea culture were affected by nature worshipping of Gochosun, Buddhism of Koryo, and Confusianism of Chosun with 'Pungryu', the idea that enjoys nature, thereby applying environment-friendly ecological beauty to their living space and life. The cultyral space in Korea is composed of natural environment such as mountain, sea, rock, or trees and artificial environment such as pond or pavilion. In the future, oriental culture with metaphysical value will lead the world culture, and especially, tea culture would play an important role regardless of nationality, race, religion, and ideology. Therefore, establishing a tea culture space in a living space would be the fundamental methods that would be able to settle down such tea life into our daily life. Our attempts to create ecological tea culture space as a integrated cultural space of natural, artificial, and human behavioral environment will contribute to enhance our quality of life.
Furniture is a medium to interconnect the living space to human, and it is the closest environmental element that limits the functions of the space, defines the style of the living, and adjusts the actions and behaviors of human. Therefore the furniture can be said to be one of the craft arts that reflects the culture and living style as they are according to the periodical, regional, and social stratum characteristics. Within this context, this study tries to suggest new design and living culture that can harmonize with the modern residence living culture and incorporate the traditional varnishing technique with lacquer that had been discontinued. Coming to the modern days, the varnishing with lacquer is getting attention again with its environment friendly characteristics and antibiotic functions, and is being applied to various applications. To inherit and maintain such an excellent traditional culture, I would like to improve the practicality by applying to modern furniture, and to contribute to develop and tell the world about the superiority of our culture.
Various living spaces have been attempted in modern resident life. basement and garre's function spaces are ignored even though they have essential environmental elements which are perceived instinctively by people. This is a good example of how rigid rough flows of interior space block the variety of living spaces. The primary purpose of this paper is to show the way of linking between whole living spaces and its parts to make better practical use of our living spaces. And I try to find out what is the original concept of he basement and garret and its relation with our residence how we use then in these days and what is the good way of practical use as our part of living space.
Residential indoor space is a major living setting for young children where multi-dimension at development can be expected through the interaction with items and components of the environment. The physical environment and attributes have been, however, relatively ignored. Especially during last several decades of housing development, residential units have been produced without accurate understanding of residents' material possession. To better design living environments, especially, a life setting for children, this research focused on finding out the characteristics of living items which belong to and are used by children.
The spatial planning of the elderly care facility plans is analyzed using space syntax in terms of encouraging the social interaction of the residents in this study. First, through the visibility graph analysis, openness and accessibility of space is analysed. Second, the walking behavior of residents through agent analysis model is simulated. Third, the space planning methods for the elderly care facilities are proposed based on the results. The results are as follows. According to the visibility graph analysis, the main corridor has high visual openness and high accessibility. The visual openness and accessibility of the unit living room, where social interaction among residents is possible in each unit, is low. Space planning is needed to increase direct protection and observation of employees to the unit living room. The location of the nurse station that manages the entire floor needs to be located where the openness and accessibility is most high. The nursing station should have a high degree of connectivity to the entire space, so that any accidents can be managed and contact is accessible. Through the agent simulation the flow from the center to each unit space is highest in the corridor space and the inflow to the private rooms and the living room are similar. Therefore, it is necessary to plan the accessibility of the unit living room more for the natural inflow of residents.
This study examines placeness of the living space on the basis of Schulz's existential space and inquires into the expressional features of placeness by analyzing cases. Results of this study have shown that placeness of living space is formed by three factors as follows. First, the living space with placesness maintains inner order which structuralizes surroundings. Second, it expresses its identity through innate shape that reflects surroundings. Third, inner space has innate identity and it is much related to characteristics personality of a resident, environmental and psychological factors. It is as follows that concrete features of existential placeness shown in analyzing cases of Botta and Moore's works. There are concrete expressional features of placeness in the housing of Botta, and one is to keep order of inner space the horizontal and vertical axis reflected surroundings. Another is to show existence feeling as the shape of a stable singular mass with surroundings and regional properties. The third is to value innate features of each space inside housing and particularly to acquire placeness as combining phenomenological characteristic of light. There are concrete expressional features of placeness in the housing of Moore, and first, strong centrality formed in the inside is emphasized as extending to outside environment. Second, existence feeling is acquired as familiar form using the shape and material considered surroundings. Third, the personality of a resident is positively reflected in the design. Besides, placeness is acquired by goods and furniture as positively considering environmental and psychological sides.
The high school credit system is a system in which students select complete various subjects, depending on their career, and graduate when their accumulated credit reaches the standard. It is expected that the high school credit system, which guarantees the individual's right of choice, will bring an educational effect that can respond to the student's career aptitude. However, it is expected that problems in the aspect of school life, such as the weakening of class belongingness or difficulty of securing a stable base venue within the school building would be accompanied. This research analyzed students' usage condition depending on the living base space environment feature in schools that are implementing moving-selective class in the aspect of activity domain formation and contemplated the venue evaluation. The purpose is to provide the basic data of an architectural plan of a stable living base space within the school building through this. 'Living base center type' and 'living base dispersion type' school buildings among Japanese integral department high schools were used as the target to analyze the usage condition in the aspect of domain formation. As a result, a conclusion was deducted that student's securement of territory consciousness about the base space and venue construction for the community of various studying groups affects life satisfaction.
