  • Objectives : The research was conducted for the use of HT1 in the shoulder disease through correct acupuncture. Methods : (1) The contents were compared through reviewing literature. (2) The literature was studied in conjunction with the shoulder pathology and anatomical structures. Results : (1) The location of HT1 is described as 'in the axilla, over the axillary artery' in many literature, and the depth of HT1 is as shallow as 1 cm. The WHO standard also follows this. (2) There were many references to 'in the axilla, between the big muscles' in later generations, but there were mixed opinions about the exact muscle names. Based on the acupunctural review and the musculoskeletal study, the big muscles are considered to be 'Pectoralis major' and 'Latissimus dorsi'. (3) Among the muscles constituting the rotator cuff, applying acupuncture on HT1 is essential for 'Subscapularis m.'. Therefore, it is effective to stimulate 'Subscapularis m.' to a depth of 1.5 to 4 cm. Conclusions : The accurate acupoint of HT1 enables various uses of flank, armpit, shoulder and arm diseases as well as cardiopathy. Especially, it helps to treat the muscles through safe and effective acupuncture in shoulder rotator cuff disorder.

  • International standards are established by the agreement of many nations' delegates that represent the opinions from all stakeholders such as suppliers, manufacturers, customers, beneficial groups, and governments. The international standards provide all stakeholders with a scientific basis that determines regulations regarding quality, health, environment and other necessary issues. Among many international standards, the well known ISO 9000 quality management system(QMS) has been installed in about 877,770 organizations in 161 countries up until now. This ISO 9000 QMS specifies requirements for detailed contents from supply of resources to delivery to customers for registering QMS certificate. This paper considers business values of ISO 9000 QMS by reviewing literature. We summarize issues related to installment and operation : motives, advantages, disadvantages, problems, obstacles, and lessons. We also summarize the integrated management system(IMS) issues and compare ISO 9000 with Total Quality Management(TQM). We present a comprehensive figure and tables based on the category of the main results of literature.

  • As more consumers are interested in sustainability issues and evaluate brands based on their social responsibility issues involved, firms are using social media platforms in order to communicate with consumers about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. However, the current literature focuses mostly on factors drive engagement of promotional messages, while little evidence was found in the literature on how to design effective CSR messages on social media to engage consumers. Using over 3,000 branded posts on Facebook and Twitter, this research explores factors that help CSR messages become more engaging in social media. The results show that, on average, CSR messages had a negative significant effect on consumer engagement. However, CSR messages became more engaging when designed with emotional appeals, longer texts, and a hashtag. While marginal, CSR messages with informational appeals and humor undermined the effect of CSR messages on engagement. Finally, we explore different types of CSR messages by their beneficiary scope and the role of brands in the message and discuss what message contents drive more engagement in social media. This research contributes to the academic literature and managers by providing new insights on how to design CSR messages for effective communications in social media.
