This paper analyses the moderated effect of quality management program on the efforts of quality management to performance using a sample of 300 Korean manufacturing firms. Result shows that (1) quality management efforts does not effect to engineering quality performance and managerial quality performance does effect to customer performance, and (2) customer performance does not effect to management performance. And quality program has a moderated effect between quality efforts and quality performance. The result shows that there is no direct link between engineering quality performance and management performance.

In this work, we propose an analytic framework for evaluating the quality of service and dimensioning the link capacity in the gateway router of a smart farm with a greenhouse eco-management system. Specifically, we focus on the gateway router of an IoT network that provides an access service for smart farms. We design the link capacity of a gateway router that is used for the remote management of the greenhouse eco-management system to accommodate both time-critical and delay-tolerant traffic in a greenhouse LAN. For this purpose, we first investigate the ecosystem for smart farm, and we define the specification and requirements of the greenhouse eco-management system. Second, we propose a system model for the link capacity of a gateway that is required to guarantee the delay performance of time-critical applications in the greenhouse LAN. Finally, the validity of the proposed system is demonstrated through a series of numerical experiments.

Mobile stations can be classified by the transmission power level in CDMA system. Different performance parameters will be given to each class of mobile stations so that the appropriate quality ofservices can be provided. In this paper, it is assumed that there are two clsses of mobile stations. with the classification of mobile stations, analytical models are presented for the estimates of the reverse link capacity and the blocking probability. From the model for the reverse link capacity, the maximum number of each class of mobile stations to be served is derived. It is shown that $E_{b/}$I reduction of 1 dB allows the capacity to be increased by 25% and the data transmission rate and the power control accuracy have a significant effect on the reverse link capacity and the blocking probability. Simulation results are provided for validating the anlaytical estimates of the blocking probability.ocking probability.y.

In this paper, the maximal capacity of the data network link has attempted to be exploited by using the dynamic allocation strategy. We propose a new methodology based on the economic models for competing traffic classes (classes of sessions) in packet networks. As the demand for network services accelerates, users' satisfaction to the service level might decrease due to the congestion at the network nodes. To prevent this, efficient allocation of a networks resources, such as available bandwidth and switch capacity, is needed. By using the so-called user profile as well as the utility (e.g., data rate) functions, it is possible to allocate data rates and other utilities using the arbitrary number of QoS classes, say $0.01,...,$10.

To ensure interoperability among TADILs, we need inter-operational system of tactical data link that allows sharing of specific, planned information among different TADILs. In this paper, we have proposed the design of a conceptual software architecture of inter-operational system. For developing of a conceptual software architecture, we analyze the actual condition of ADSI used in the US military and identify functions and quality-attributes. Based on these factors, we design the conceptual software architecture for inter-operational system of tactical data link using Attribute-Driven Design(ADD) method. ADD is consist of three phases - choose the module to decompose, refine the module, repeat the steps for every module that needs further decomposition. To evaluate of ADD results, we apply the Software Architecture Analysis Method(SAAM) which is consist of making evaluation scenarios, choosing indirect scenarios, evaluation scenarios' interaction, and creating an overall evaluation. Through the evaluation, we verify the conceptual software architecture of inter-operational system.

In a COMA system, the capacity is variable and mainly depends on multiple access interference. The multiple access interference has a deep relationship with transmitted or received power. The capacity of COMA2000 system is considered to be limited by the forward link capacity. In this paper, we show that the forward link cell load can be represented by the total transmitted power of base station and we propose a forward link call admission control (CAC) strategy for COMA2000 system. The proposed call admission scheme adopts the rate control algorithm for data call. This call admission scheme enables the system to utilize radio resource dynamically by controlling data rate according to the cell load status, and enhance the system throughput and grade of service (GoS). quality of service(QoS) such as blocking and outage probability.

The sensor network standard DASH7 was proposed to improve transmission quality and low power communication. Specifications for the standard are currently being developed, so the security specification has not been firmly implemented. However, without a security specification, a network cannot work due to threats from malicious users. Thus we must ensure confidentiality and authentication of data packets by using a cryptography method. To contribute to the DASH7 security specification, this paper shows the implementation results of network and data link layer security by using advanced encryption standard (AES) counter with CBC-MAC (CCM) over CC430 sensor nodes.

Power Quality and Reliability are becoming important issues for critical and sensitive loads. This paper describes the Line Interactive UPS with the function of Voltage Compensator that is 'Line interactive Dynamic Voltage Restorer(LIDVR). The main purpose of a LIDVR is to compensate for voltage sag(dip), outage and overvoltage. The overall system consists of three controller 1) current controller with prediction 2) voltage controller and 3) proposed variable DC LINK controller. The variable DC LINK control technique using the LIDVR protects DC LINK from overflowing the input current. The simulation results are depicted in this paper to show the effect of this proposed system.

Due to the large capacity and low cost, DC link electrolytic capacitors with of energy storage and voltage regulation are used for almost all types of power converter as the DC/AC inverter or DC/DC converter. Electrolytic capacitor, which is the most of the time affected by the aging effect, plays very important role for the power converter system quality and reliability. Therefore, this paper proposes a simple method to estimate the capacitance variation of an electrolytic capacitor in order to analyze the internal characteristic decrease and worn-out state of an electrolytic capacitor. Simulation results by using capacitor storage energy computation show the validity of the proposed capacitance estimation method.

최근의 디지털 방송 서비스의 확대와 품질개선을 기반으로 첨단 방송 시비스의 지속적인 발전이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 초고속 데이터 링크 기술을 사용하여 앞에서 언급한 부분을 효율적으로 구현할 수 있는 한가지 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법을 기존의 방법에 비해 처리속도가 개선되었으며, 다양한 형태의 컨텐츠를 효과적으로 편집할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
