From the view of natural language process, quantitative linguistic analysis is a linguistic study relying on statistical methods, and is a mathematical linguistics in an attempt to discover various linguistic characters by interpreting linguistic facts quantitatively through statistical methods. In this study, I would like to introduce a quantitative linguistic analysis method utilizing a computer and statistical methods on literary works. I also try to introduce a use of SynKDP, a synthesized Korean data process, and show the relations between distribution of linguistic unit elements which are used by the hero in a novel #Sassinamjunggi# and theme analysis on literary works.

This paper is concerned with a simultaneous design of TSK (Takagi-Sugeno-Kang)-linguistic fuzzy models with uncertain model output and the computationally efficient representation. For this purpose, we use the fundamental idea of linguistic models introduced by Pedrycz and develop their comprehensive design framework. The design process consists of several main phases such as (a) the automatic generation of the linguistic contexts by probabilistic distribution using CDF (conditional density function) and PDF (probability density function) (b) performing context-based fuzzy clustering preserving homogeneity based on the concept of fuzzy granulation (c) augment of bias term to compensate bias error (d) combination of TSK and linguistic context in the consequent part. Finally, we contrast the performance of the enhanced models with other fuzzy models for automobile MPG predication data and coagulant dosing process in a water purification plant.

In this paper, we notice the fact that a human learning process is characterized by a process under a natural language environment, and discuss an approach of learning based on indirect linguistic instructions. An instruction is interpreted through some meaning elements and each trend. Fuzzy evaluation rule are constructed for the searched meaning elements of the given instruction, and the performance of a system to be learned is improved by the evaluation rules. In this paper, we propose a framework of learning based on indirect linguistic instruction based learning using fuzzy theory: FULLINS(FUzzy-Learning based on Linguistic IN-Struction). The validity of FULLINS is shown by applying it to helicopter flight control.

Successful implementation of statistical process control techniques requires for operational definitions and precise measurements. Nevertheless, very often analysts can dispose of process data available only by linguistic terms, that would be a waste to neglect just because of their intrinsic vagueness. Thus a hybrid approach, which integrates fuzzy set theory and common statistical tools, sounds useful in order to improve effectiveness of statistical process control in such a case. In this work, a fuzzy approach is adopted to manage linguistic information, and the use of a Chi-squared control chart is proposed to monitor process performance.

본 연구는 제품조형에 대한 언어적 연구로 디자이너들의 연구사례의 유형을 분석하고자 했다. 특히 제품조형의 언어적 개념을 도구와 사고의 관계에서 언어적 관계성을 통해서 창출하고자 했다. 언어적인 영역과 비 언어적인 영역에서 조형언어의 역할이 어떡해 활동하고 있는지를 분석하였다. 특히 디자인 프로세스상에 형성되는 조형언어의 역하로 조형해석과 조형개념 창출 즉 아이디어 창출에 대한 디자인 프로세스의 관계성을 파악하였다. 이러한 조형언어가 디자인 사적인 측면에서의 기원과 최초 연구가(EnzoMari)의 연구사례를 제시하였다. 또한 디자이너와 디자인 관련 학자들의 조형언어에 대한 관심을 언어적 측면에서의 다양한 요소로 나누어 분류하였다. 또한 이러한 분류과정을 통해서 제품과 관련된 추상적 이론과 시스템적인 연구보다 구체적인 실무의 사례와 개별화된 제품조형언어에 대한 연구의 필요성을 가지고 이러한 측면을 강조하여 상호문화적인 측면에서 개별화된 실제 제품의 조형 언어의 차이와 관심의 차이 그리고 상호공존 할 수 있는 제품조형언어의 개념 창출을 향후 연구과제로 제안한다.

최근 심리학 연구에서 LIWC(Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count)라는 '심리학적 영어 글분석 프로그램'을 사용하여 사람들이 사용하는 언어적 양식을 종속측정치로 사용한 연구들은 괄목할 만한 성과를 거두었다. 본 연구는 이러한 영어분석 프로그램을 원형으로 한국어의 특성과 문화를 반영한 '한국어 글분석 프로그램(KLIWC)'을 개발하기 위하여 실시되었다. 형태소 태깅을 통하여 다수의 형태소가 교착된 어절을 분석하는 기능을 추가하였고 기본형 사전과 활용형 규칙을 구축하였다. 또한 체면, 한국적 정서와 관련된 단어를 분석 변인에 포함시켰다. 이러한 한국어 분석프로그램의 개발과정과 특성을 고찰하였고 프로그램의 추후 개선방향에 대하여 논의하였다. The national language in the divided Germany has undergone changes that are not simply 'linguistic' in nature but reflect on the diverse social activities that have contributed to the development of the country's political and economic systems. Accordingly, a study of the German language in the process of the division would necessarily involve looking into the socio-political dynamics of the period, in tandem with the study of the linguistic structure per se. This paper deals with the political situation of Germany during the period of 1945 through 1990 and the issues of territorial devision during that period with the view to clarifying the extra-linguistic factors behind the changes of the country's national language. This mode of explaining the heterogeneous linguistic changes that characterize post-war Germany will provide an opportunity to consider the classical issues of the relationship between linguistic changes and social ones in a new light.

Language learning involves linguistic environments around the learner. So the variation in training input to which the learner is exposed has been linked to their language learning. We explore how linguistic experiences can cause differences in learning linguistic structural features, as investigate in a probabilistic graphical model. We manipulate the amounts of training input, composed of natural linguistic data from animation videos for children, from holistic (one-word expression) to compositional (two- to six-word one) gradually. The recognition and generation of sentences are a "probabilistic" constraint satisfaction process which is based on massively parallel DNA chemistry. Random sentence generation tasks succeed when networks begin with limited sentential lengths and vocabulary sizes and gradually expand with larger ones, like children's cognitive development in learning. This model supports the suggestion that variations in early linguistic environments with developmental steps may be useful for facilitating language acquisition.

The main objective of this paper is to probe the extent to which misinformation propagated through the different social media platforms contribute effectively in the process of directing, shaping and reshaping societal awareness of Saudis. In so doing, this paper attempts to delve into the relationship between linguistic misinformation and societal awareness, by exploring the perception of Saudis towards social media news, particularly misinformation and the extent to which this misinformation influences the social attitudes of Saudis in terms of various societal issues. Two main research questions are addressed in this study. First, to what extent does social media misinformation affect Saudis' awareness? Second, what are the linguistic manifestations of misinformation presented in the different social platforms? Two main findings have been recorded in this study: first, misinformation significantly contributes to the societal awareness of Saudis; and, second, however misinformation is linguistically manifested at the different levels of linguistic analysis, it is highly representative at the lexicalization level of language use.

We can not distinguish semantism of the feature of the current language “big”, “small”, “beautiful”. But we study artificial linguistic interface work and convert natural language to digital binary linguistic theory, we should define the basical conversion process. When we utilize the sum of product fuzzy theory and the visible numerical value, we can establish reasoning rule of input language. Fuzzy theory should be converted to general resulting rule.
