In the present investigation, we define two new subclasses of analytic and m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions defined by a linear combination in the open unit disk U. Furthermore, for functions in each of the subclasses introduced here, we establish upper bounds for the initial coefficients ${\mid}a_{m+1}{\mid}$ and ${\mid}a_{2m+1}{\mid}$. Also, we indicate certain special cases for our results.
This study proposes an empirical method for estimating the concentration time and storage coefficient of a basin using the Nash unit hydrograph. This method is based on the analytically derived concentration time and storage coefficient of the Nash model. More fundamentally, this method recursively searches convergent number of linear reservoirs and storage coefficient of linear reservoir representing the basin given. This method is to overcome the problem of HEC-HMS to use an optimization technique to estimate the basin concentration time and storage coefficient. The proposed method was applied to the Bangrim station of the Pyungchang river basin, also found to estimate physically reasonable values.
If a meromorphic solution of second order homogeneous linear differential equation is factorizable, then the right factor of the factorization of the solution has order not more than the coefficient's. And some asympotic properties of solutions are studied.

When multicollinearity appears in linear regression model, we can use ridge regression for stabilizing the regression coefficient estimates. We propose the screen diagram as a graphical method for detecting multicollinearity and estimating ridge constant in linear regression model.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effective energy of a polyenegetic X-ray beam. The half value layer(HVL) of aluminum for 80 kVp X-ray beam was measured by using optically stimulated luminescent nanoDot dosimeters(OSLnDs). The linear attenuation coefficient(${\mu}$) was calculated using the measured HVL. And the mass attenuation coefficient(${\mu}/{\rho}$) was obtained by dividing the linear attenuation coefficient by the density(${\rho}$) of aluminum. The effective energy($E_{eff}$) of the obtained mass attenuation coefficient was determined using data of the X-ray mass attenuation coefficients for photon energies of aluminum given by National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST). As a result, the HVL value is 2.262 mmAl. The ${\mu}$ value is $3.06cm^{-1}$. The ${\mu}/{\rho}$ value is $1.114cm^2/g$. And the $E_{eff}$ value was determined at 29.79 keV.

Purpose: To compare different MR sequences for quantification of gadolinium concentration. Materials and Methods: Gadolinium contrast agents were diluted into 36 different concentrations. They were scanned using gradient echo (GRE) and ultrashort echo time (UTE) and R1, $R2^*$ and phase values were estimated from collected data. For analysis, ROI masks were made for each concentration and then ROI value was measured by mean and standard deviation from the estimated quantitative maps. Correlation analysis was performed and correlation coefficient was calculated. Results: Using GRE sequence, R1 showed a strong linear correlation at concentrations of 10 mM or less, and $R2^*$ showed a strong linear correlation between 10 to 100 mM. The phase of GRE generally exhibited a negative linear relationship for concentrations of 100 mM or less. In the case of UTE, the phase had a strong negative linear relationship at concentrations 100 mM or above. Conclusion: R1, which was calculated by conventional GRE, showed a high performance of quantification for lower concentrations, with a correlation coefficient of 0.966 (10 mM or less). $R2^*$ showed stronger potential for higher concentrations with a correlation coefficient of 0.984 (10 to 100 mM), and UTE phase showed potential for even higher concentrations with a correlation coefficient of 0.992 (100 mM or above).
3D printing technology is an additive manufacturing technology produced through 3D scanning or modeling method. This technology can be produced in a short time without mold, which has recently been applied in earnest in various fields. In the medical field, 3D printing technology is used in various fields of radiology and radiation therapy, but related research is insufficient in the field of nuclear medicine. In this study, we compare the characteristics of traditional nuclear medicine phantom with 3D printing technology and evaluate its applicability in clinical trials. We manufactured the same size phantom of poly methyl meta acrylate(PMMA) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene(ABS) based on the aluminum step wedge. We used BrightView XCT(Philips Health Care, Cleveland, USA) SPECT/CT. We acquired 60 min list mode for Aluminum, PMMA and ABS phantoms using Rectangular Flood Phantom (Biodex, New York, USA) 99mTcO4 3 mCi(111 MBq), 6 mCi (222MBq) and 57Co Flood phantom(adq, New Hampshire, USA). For the analysis of acquired images, the region of interest(ROI) were drawn and evaluated step by step for each phantom. Depending on the type of radioisotope and radiation dose, the counts of the ABS phantom was similar to that of the PMMA phantom. And as the step thickness increased, the counts decreased linearly. When comparing the linear attenuation coefficient of Aluminum, PMMA and ABS phantom, the linear attenuation coefficient of the aluminium phantom was higher than that of the others, and the PMMA and ABS phantom had similar the linear attenuation coefficient. Based on ABS phantom manufactured by 3D printing technology, as the thickness of the PMMA phantom increased, the counts and linear attenuation coefficient decreased linearly. It has been confirmed that ABS phantom is applicable in the clinical field of nuclear medicine. If the calibration factor is applied through further research, it is believed that practical application will be possible.
The effects of monthly meteorological data measured at 11 stations in South Korea on pan coefficient were analyzed to develop the four types of multiple linear regression models for estimating pan coefficients. To evaluate the applicability of developed models, the models were compared with six previous models. Pan coefficients were most affected by air temperature for January, February, March, July, November and December, and by solar radiation for other months. On the whole, for 12 months of the year, the effects of wind speed and relative humidity on pan coefficient were less significant, compared with those of air temperature and solar radiation. For all meteorological stations and months, the model developed by applying 5 independent variables (wind speed, relative humidity, air temperature, ratio of sunshine duration and daylight duration, and solar radiation) for each station was the most effective for evaporation estimation. The model validation results indicate that the multiple linear regression models can be applied to some particular stations and months.

For enhancing the mechanical properties of LTE (low thermal expansion) cast steel, systematic researches have been carried out. The effects of alloying elements such as vanadium, molybdenum and carbon on the hardness and linear thermal expansion coefficient were investigated. In the range of $0.5{\sim}2.3\;wt%$ carbon, addition of 1.73 wt% carbon caused hardness increase due to the formation of eutectic carbide having high hardness but over the range of 1.73 wt% carbon, hardness was decreased. Thermal expansion coefficient increases with carbon contents. In the LTE cast steel containing 0.6 wt% carbon, hardness increased up to 1.96 wt% vanadium addition. But over the range of 1.96 wt% vanadium hardness was decreased by coarse eutectic carbide. Thermal expansion coefficient of LTE cast steel containing 0.6 wt%carbon moderately increased with increasing vanadium contents. There was no significant variation of hardness and thermal expansion coefficient according to molybdenum content in LTE cast steel.
The linear thermal expansions of $UO_2$ and $(U_{1-y}Ce_y)O_2$ pellet were measured from room temperature to $1400^{\circ}C$ as a function of Ce contents (0, 7.63, 14.84, and $21.68 mol\%$) by using the TMA(Thermo-Mechanical Analysis) method. From the measured data, the linear thermal expansion rate, the coefficient of linear thermal expansion and density variation with temperature were calculated, and the best-fitted temperature-dependent equations were recommended. It was shown that the rate and coefficient of $(U_{1-y}Ce_y)O_2$ thermal expansion increased and the density decreased with increasing Ce contents.
