CAD/CAM 시스템에서 매개변수형 곡선본간기에 관한 연구 (A Study of Parametric Curve Interpolator in CAD/CAM Ststem)

  • The interpolator is very important in CNC machines. This study proposed a parametric curve interpolator(PCI) which can be used for machining any sculptured surface represented in a parametric form and generates commands for tool motion between CAD data points according to given accuracy demands. The proposed interpolator is superior to the existing linear interpolator in accuracy, feed rate and acceleration continuity. Moreover in comparison to the recently developed cubic spline interpolator, the PCI has the capability of handling higher order parametric curves and also ensures precise tracking in the velocity domain. Results from real time simulations and experiments on open architecture CNC machines equipped with the proposed interpolator are presented to show its practical capagility. It is believed that the combination of the proposed interpolator and the open architecture machine controller further advances the area of command generation which is an important aspect of CAD/CAM.

유연한 절삭가공을 위한 절삭가공계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Machining Operations Planning for the Flexible Machining Process)

  • An algorithm is developed to find optimal machining parameters for multiple machining environments. The cutting rate-tool life (R-T) characteristic curve presents the general loci of optima and is useful for the flexible machining operations planning. The R-T characteristic curve for the machining economics prob- lems with linear-logarithmic tool lofe model may be determined by applying sensitivity analysis to log-dual problems. Three cases of the change of machining environments are considered. An end milling example is constructed to illustrate the algorithm.

섬진강 쌍치유역의 기저유출 감수곡선식 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Base Flow Recession Curve Development in the Ssangchi Basin of the Sumjin River)

  • 본 연구는 하천유량의 인위적 교란이 비교적 적은 쌍치유역에서 감수곡선식을 개발하기 위함이다. 이를 위하여 대상유역에서 관측 수문곡선을 토대로 총 34개의 감수구간을 선정하였으며, 이것을 이용하여 감수계수(0.86)와 감수곡선의 초기유량(0.40 ㎥/sec)를 산정하였다. 그리고 이들의 결과를 토대로 선형 및 비선형 감수곡선식의 매개변수를 결정하여 대상유역에서 감수곡선식을 산정하였다. 대상유역에서 산정한 선형 및 비선형 감수곡선식의 적합성을 판단하기 위하여 관측유량에 대한 상대오차 및 평균오차를 산정하여 이를 비교하였다. 그 결과 비선형 감수곡선식이 선형 감수곡선식에 비해 오차의 정도가 양호하게 나타났다.

  • 고화질의 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 수요 증가에 따라서 고전영화의 복원이 필요하다. 그러나 고전영화의 필름은 라인 스크래치와 먼지에 의해서 영상이 많이 훼손되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 필름상의 흑, 백 라인 스크래치를 검출하여 복원하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 라인 스크래치 좌우 영역의 밝기 값을 고려하여 선형회귀 곡선 추적과 미디언 필터링으로 라인 스크래치 부분의 손상된 부분정보를 추정, 보간한다. 그 결과 흑, 백 라인 스크래치가 있는 PSNR 44.68인 필름영상을 48.60으로 향상시켰으며, 보간된 픽셀은 원 영상 픽셀에 14정도의 밝기 차로 접근되었다.

Estimating dose-response curves using splines: a nonparametric Bayesian knot selection method

  • In radiation epidemiology, the excess relative risk (ERR) model is used to determine the dose-response relationship. In general, the dose-response relationship for the ERR model is assumed to be linear, linear-quadratic, linear-threshold, quadratic, and so on. However, since none of these functions dominate other functions for expressing the dose-response relationship, a Bayesian semiparametric method using splines has recently been proposed. Thus, we improve the Bayesian semiparametric method for the selection of the tuning parameters for splines as the number and location of knots using a Bayesian knot selection method. Equally spaced knots cannot capture the characteristic of radiation exposed dose distribution which is highly skewed in general. Therefore, we propose a nonparametric Bayesian knot selection method based on a Dirichlet process mixture model. Inference of the spline coefficients after obtaining the number and location of knots is performed in the Bayesian framework. We apply this approach to the life span study cohort data from the radiation effects research foundation in Japan, and the results illustrate that the proposed method provides competitive curve estimates for the dose-response curve and relatively stable credible intervals for the curve.

  • In this paper we propose a variable selection criterion minimizing influence curve in regression, and compare it with other criteria such as $C_p$(Mallows 1973) and adjusted coefficient of determination. Examples and extension to the generalized linear models are given.

  • In this paper, we consider a single-channel amplitude comparison monopulse system(SCACMS). The monopulse ratio curve(MR-C) of the SCACMS can be controlled by an amplitude difference between sum and different signal, a phase difference and the coefficient of the signal processor. We first propose the SCACMS with multiple variables, and then apply a genetic algorithm to optimize the multiple variables in terms of minimizing a root mean square error. The simulation results show that when three variables of the SCACMS are jointly optimized, the linear region of the MR-C can be extended approximately 187 % compared to that of two variables.

  • Typical application of detecting piecewise-linear curves includes vectorizing of scanned drawings whirh is a vital step in installing any geographic information system. This paper considers the problem of optimally approximating a piecewise linear curve to a set of digital points while satisfying given intersection angles between each pair of neighboring lines. The criterion for optimality is to minimize the sum of squared deviations. The problem is formulated as an unconstrained nonlinear programming model. An algorithm which guarantees an optimal solution is then proposed and its validity is tested with both a synthetically generated image and a real image. The test results illustrate the excellent performance of the proposed algorithm.

고속ㆍ고정도 CNC가공을 위한 NURBS 보간 알고리즘 (NURBS Interpolation Algorithm for CNC Machining with High Speed and High Precision)

  • In CNC machining, a free curve is cut into small linear segments using the linear interpolation(G01) method. Therefore, the interpolation error along the curve is not constant due to the changing curvature. This paper presents a NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) interpolation algorithm for machining free curves with high precision and high speed. The proposed NURBS interpolation defines the tool path with NURBS parameters and limits the interpolation error to any desired level by adjusting the feed rate considering the curvature of the shape and sampling time. Both linear and NURBS interpolations are compared to show the validity of the proposed algorithm.
