Prediction of ions migration behavior in mortar under 2-D ALMT application to inhibit ASR

  • This study investigated four electric field configurations of two-dimensional accelerate lithium migration technique (ALMT), including line-to-line, plane-to-line, contour-to-line and plane-to-plane, and analyzed the ion migration behavior and efficiency. It was found that the free ion distribution diagram and voltage distribution diagram were similar, and ions migrated in the power line direction. The electrode modules were used for the mortar specimen with w/c ratio of 0.5. The effectively processed areas accounted for 14.1%, 39.0%, 49.4% and 51.4% of total area respectively on Day 28. Larger electrode area was more advantageous to ion migration. In addition, it was proved that the two-dimensional electric field could be divided into different equifield line active regions, and regarded as affected by one-dimensional electric field, and the ion migration results in various equifield line active regions were predicted by using the duration analysis method based on the theoretical model of ion migration obtained from one-dimensional test.

  • This induced voltage measurement test and electromagnetic field simulation are related to the possibility of control signal malfunction by power line. Through an experiment, this research analyzed whether the voltage causing control malfunction according to the on/off status of power permitted to power line was induced to control signal line. Also, the research calculated the voltage induced to control signal line and examined the phenomenon by conducting an electro-magnetic field-specific simulation through the finite element method for the cable model used in the experiment.

비선형 선배열 형상 추정을 위한 계수 반복 다항 근사화 기법 (Iterative Polynomial Fitting Technique Using Polynomial Coefficients for the Nonlinear Line Array Shape Estimation)

  • Low frequency towed line array with high array gain and beam resolution is a long range surveillance sensor for anti-submarine warfare. The beam characteristics is however deteriorated due to the distorted line array sensor caused by low towing speed, wind, current, and towing ship maneuvering. An adaptive beamforming method is utilized in this paper to enhance the distorted line array beam performance by estimating and compensating the nonlinear array shape. A polynomial curve fitting in the least square sense is used to estimate the array shape iteratively with the distributed heading sensors data along the array. Real time array shape estimation and nonlinear array beam calculation is applied to a very long towed line array sensor system and the beam performance is evaluated and compared to the linear beamformer for the simulation and sea trial data.

항공영상에서 건물지붕 검출을 위한 선소의 그룹화 기법 (Line segment grouping method for building roof detection in aerial images)

  • 본 논문에서는 다양한 건물 지붕의 검출에 사용될 수 있는 선소의 그룹화 기법을 제안한다. 먼저 에지 보존 필터를 사용하여 영상에 포함된 잡음을 제거한 후에 watershed 기법을 이용하여 에지의 위치를 보존하고 영상 분할을 수행한다. 분할된 영역의 경계선에 위치한 화소들의 곡률을 계산하여 control point를 검출하고 control point 사이의 선소를 추출한다. 추출된 선소들의 방향과 길이를 고려하여 선소의 연결을 수행하고 최종적으로 화소의 그레디언트 크기를 이용하여 선소의 위치를 조정한다. 항공 영상에 제안한 방법을 적용하여 건물 지붕을 정확하게 검출할 수 있음을 보였다.

  • A Trolley line is a very important equipment among electric railway equipments since it contacts directly with pantograph and supplies electricity on the electromotive. Such it was thought that a trolley line need not to consider fatigue since the replace cycle by wear is shorter than the replace cycle by fatigue breakage. But, the bending fatigue breakage accidents occurred several times at the Shinkansen trolley line in East Japan Railway Company. Therefore, in case of a new developed trolley line, the evaluation for bending fatigue life became more important, But, since there are not an authorized fatigue test method and a testing device for the trolley line, the quantitative evaluation is difficult. In this study, we analyzed the load and environment condition of trolley line used in the actual spot and the developed testing device that can evaluate bending fatigue properties of the trolley line as simulating the real condition. The bending fatigue test of the trolley line was achieved using the developed testing device and estimated the fatigue life of trolley line and also, established the fatigue test process.

  • The task environment of a robot is changing rapidly and task itself becomes complicated due to current industrial trends of multi-product and small lot size production. A convenient user-interfaced off-line programming(OLP) system is being developed in order to overcome the difficulty in teaching a robot task. Using the OLP system, operators can easily teach robot tasks off-line and verify feasibility of the task through simulation of a robot prior to the on-line execution. However, some task errors are inevitable by kinematic differences between the robot model in OLP and the actual robot. Three calibration methods using image information are proposed to compensate the kinematic differences. These methods compose of a relative position vector method, three point compensation method, and base line compensation method. To compensate a kinematic differences the vision system with one monochrome camera is used in the calibration experiment.

  • We present a new EEG waveform detection method, based on the search of distinctive line-segments. The method is based on the assumption that EEG waveform morphology is characterized by a sequence of its distinctive line-segments and their structural features. In this method, the distinctive line segments are first searched for, and the structural feature analysis is performed on the found line-segment sequence. Experiments of detecting epileptic spikes are performed on four different subjects.

  • In this paper, a computer-vision based pipe-inspection algorithm is developed. The algorithm uses the modified Hough transformation and a line-scanning approach to identify the edge line and radius of the pipe image, from which the eccentricity and dimension of the pipe-end is calculated. Line and circle detection was performed using Laplacian operator with input image which are acquired from the front and side cameras.   • In this paper, we construct the on-line model structure for the nonlinear process systems using the adaptive fuzzy-neural network. Adaptive fuzzy-neural network usually consists of two distinct modifiable structure, with both, the premise and the consequent part. These two parts can be adapted by different optimization methods, which are the hybrid learning procedure combining gradient descent method and least square method. To achieve the on-line model structure, we use the recursive least square method for the consequent parameter identification of nonlinear process. We design the interface between PLC and main computer, and construct the monitoring and control simulator for the nonlinear process. The proposed on-line modeling to real process is carried out to obtain the effective and accurate results.

  • The SCN-TLM method presented in this paper is another independent approaches for obtaining frequency domain results for microstrip line. The structure analysed with this TLM algorithm is step discontinuity microstrip line and the symmetrical condensed node is used. After numerical analysis, the frequency dependent scattering parameters of a step discontinuity microstrip line have been calculated by Fourier transform of the time domain data. From the time domain TLM numerical results, this numerical analysis is shown to be an efficient method for modelling complicated structure as step discontinuity microstrip line.
