실습선 가야호의 선체진동에 대한 승선환경 (Boarding environment of training ship KAYA for the hull vibration)

  • To compare and evaluate the suitability and comfort levels of the environment on board a stern trawl training ship, KAYA(GT: 1737 tons, Pukyong National University), with the international standardization guide ISO 6954:2000(E), measurements of the hull vibration on accommodation areas and working areas of the training ship from July 8 to July 10, 2008 were completed upon KAYA's linear sea route. The vibrations along the z-axis were measured with the use of a 3-axis vibration level meter, which included a marine vibration card. Results show accelerations of the vibrations on the passenger's accommodation area to be 42.0-115.8(average: 78.0, standard deviation(SD): 21.0) mm/$s^2$, which is largely below the permissible upper limit, but 75 % of the observation points exceeded the permissible lower limit of 71.5 mm/$s^2$, indicating a comfortable environment. The accelerations of the vibration in a frequency of 10-24Hz lowering the visual performance were measured at 2.5-12.0(average: 7.6, SD: 3.1) mm/$s^2$. The crew s accommodation area experienced vibration accelerations of 42.9-82.3(average: 93.1, SD: 53.1) mm/$s^2$, which is generally below the permissible upper limit of 214.0 mm/$s^2$, and 62.5% of the observation points did not exceed the permissible lower limit of 107.0 mm/$s^2$, denoting a level of comfort. The acceleration of the vibration in a frequency of 10-24Hz were 4.7-28.3(average: 12.4, SD: 8.8) mm/$s^2$. On the crew s working area the accelerations were measured at 86.9-153.9(average 119.3, SD 18.0) mm/$s^2$. These values were generally below the permissible upper limit of 286.0 mm/$s^2$ and only 12.5% of the observation points did not exceed the permissible lower limit of 143.0 mm/$s^2$, the level at which a high level of comfort is maintained. The accelerations in frequency of 10-24Hz and 30Hz were 9.1-29.8 (average 13.8, SD= 4.5) mm/$s^2$ and 8.9-13.7 (average 11.8, SD 2.1) mm/$s^2$, respectively. In conclusion the boarding environment of the training ship was good in general although an improvement of the vibration condition partially needed on the crew s accommodation area near the engine room.

벤젠의 국내 허용기준에 대한 연도별 초과 경향 연구 (A Survey on Annual Exceedance Trends for the Domestic Permissible Exposure Limit for Benzene)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend for exceedance of the domestic permissible exposure limit of benzene based on a review of the previous literature. Materials and methods: From among 13 chemical substances regulated through a PEL (Permissible Exposure Limit) in the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the research object of this study is benzene. The information utilized is work environment measurement data from 2004 to 2013. The highest level among the concentration data measured at various workplaces was selected as a representative value through the data process. N.D. (Not Detected) data was considered as 1/2 of the LOD (limit of detection). Results: Among the work environment measurement data between 2004 and 2013, the highest number of exceeding workplaces and the excess rate (12 sites and 5.4%) was observed in the 2006 data when applying the current PEL for benzene. When compared with the action level, which means a level one-half of the PEL, 2005's data showed the highest number of exceeding workplaces and greatest excess rate (89 sites & 13.3%). The number of exceeding workplaces and excess rate relative to the PEL for benzene showed an increasing trend in 2004, but tended to decrease after 2007. Conclusions: Based on the results obtained from this study, the exposure level for benzene among domestic workers is not considered to be in a safe phase regardless of the year of work environment measurement. Thus, strict preventive management in workplaces should be provided for reducing exposure to benzene.

오염물질 이동 추적을 위한 SF6 추적자 실험 분석과 모사 연구 (Analysis and Simulation of SF6 Tracer Experiments for Tracking the Pollutant Transport)

  • Tracer experiments were performed 4 times in December 1992 on the relatively flat terrain and nearby building area adjacent to the Taedok Science Town in Korea. Each experiment was continued for relatively short period of 1 or 2 hours with intermittent release of SF6 up to 2.07g/s at 10m height. Movement of tracer plume was tracked by a continuous tracer analyzer installed on an air monitoring van. Simulation with INPUFF was carried out to analyze and predict experiments. Measured profiles of tracer plume were narrow and sharp while predicted profiles by INPUFF were broad and slowly varied. Tracer plumes were detected at a short distance of 0.5 to 2.2 km mainly due to intermittent release and high value of lower detectable limit. Various experimental conditions were tested by INPUFF simulation in order to find desirable conditions. Higher wind speed and less variable wind direction could yield longer distance of plume tracking only when the lower detectable limit was sufficiently low. Distance of plume tracking was long and did not much depend on the lower detectable limit in stable atmospheric conditions.

  • Exceeding the speed limit during vehicle driving is a key factor in the severity of lots of road accidents, and SLIF(Speed Limit Information Function) application is in the initial phase in Korea. SLIF helps the drivers to observe a speed limit when they are driving by providing alert and informing the current limit speed information based on external data using camera and/or digital map, for that reason, environmental conditions could be causes of SLIF malfunctions. In this study, design adequacy analysis of SLIF in respect of false recognition as the Korea traffic environment has been performed. As tentative results, road conditions and structure of speed limit sign as well as system performance often caused misrecognition.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel navigation method combined limit-cycle method and the vector field method for avoidance of unexpected obstacles in the dynamic environment. The limit-cycle method is used to obstacle avoidance in front of the robot and the vector field method is used to obstacle avoidance in the side of robot. The proposed method is tested on pioneer 2-DX mobile robot. The simulations and experiments demonstrate in the effectiveness of the proposed method for navigation of a mobile robot in the complicated and dynamic environments.

  • 컨테이너 선박 및 고속선 등과 같은 고속선박의 등장으로 해상에서의 선박 속력은 이전보다 더욱 높아지고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 특정해역으로 지정되어 있는 현행 교통 밀집해역에서의 속력규제는 수십년전의 규정으로 현재의 교통상황에 잘 부합되지 않는 제도라고 사료된다. 특히 그 해역을 항행하고 있는 선박운항자의 주장으로 인천항의 속력규제 폐지, 광양항의 속력규제 완화 등 속력규제에 관한 논의가 계속되고 있지만 이러한 협수로에서의 속력규제에 대하여 수치화되거나 정량화된 연구는 드물다. 본 연구에서는 직선항로에서의 통항선박의 흐름을 재현한 후, 선박운항자의 선박운항 부담감을 정량화한 환경스트레스 모델(ES Model)을 이용하여 속력규제에 대하여 분석하여 최대속력규제의 효과 여부를 알아보고자 한다.

지반-기초말뚝 상호작용을 고려한 응답스팩트럼의 적용 한계가속도 (Response Spectrum Analysis-Induced Limit Acceleration of Soil Pile Systems)

  • 본 연구에서는 입력가속도의 한계 범위를 흙의 상대밀도, 지하수위, 지반 조건을 고려하여 시간이력해석과 응답스펙트럼해석으로 분석하였다. 시간이력해석은 FLAC3D로 응답스펙트럼해석은 FB-Multipier를 이용하여 여러 지반 조건에 대한 수치해석을 실시하였다. 말뚝 주변 지반은 탄소성 물질로 가정하였다. FLAC3D 해석의 주변 지반은 Mohr-Coulomb과 Finn 모델로 설정하였고, FB-Multiplier 해석은 비선형 p-y 곡선을 이용하여 해석하였다. 비선형 지반 거동을 갖는 가속도의 한계범위는 주변 지반의 상대밀도에 비례함을 보였다. 해석 결과 SP soil이 SM soil보다 지반의 가속도의 한계범위가 훨씬 크고 지하수위는 지반조건에 관계없이 입력가속도의 한계범위를 감소시키는 경향이 있음을 알 수 있다. 또한 가속도의 한계 범위는 주로 전단탄성계수의 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Limit-cycle 항법의 안정성을 분석하고 path follwer를 제안한다. Limit-cycle 항법은 2차 비선형 함수의 특징을 이용하며, 빠른 이동로봇의 움직임을 제어하기 위해 제안되어졌다. Limit-cycle의 수렴반경과 방향을 조절하여 충돌 없이 장애물을 회피하고, 목표점에 도달할 수 있다. 하지만 지금까지 Limit-cycle 항법의 안정성은 연구되어지지 않았다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 안정성을 분석하고, Limit-cycle 항법을 로봇축구에 적용하여, 시뮬레이션과 실제 실험에서 제안된 방법을 검증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 동적인 환경에서 돌발 장애물을 회피하는 방법으로 Nearness Diagram, Limit-Cycle 및 벡터장법을 혼합한 새로운 항법을 제안한다. Limit-Cycle 항법은 정면장애물을 회피 하는데 사용되고, 벡터장법은 측면장애물을 회피 하는데 이용된다. 그리고 Nearness Diagram 항법은 로봇의 근접지역장애물을 회피하는데 사용된다. 제안된 항법은 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 성능을 증명하였다.
