도시철도 신호시스템 설계에서의 운전시격 향상에 대한 연구 (The Study of Headway Improvement on Signaling System Des19n of Urban Transit)

  • To improve safety operation of urban transit, compatible design of signaling system is most important factor at future train operation and management. Therefore, signaling system should be designed compatible transport demand of target year. In addition, signaling system should be designed improved train safety, based fail-safe principle. Most of all, to solve passenger concentration, high density and to improve efficiency of train operation. Headway improvement of train is most important. Train organization length of new urban transit as light rail is generally shorter than EMU. Therefore, to increase passenger service and operation efficiency, minimum headway of one minute in this system should be important required.

  • Now, the population and economical power is deeply concentrated to Seoul-metropolitan region, therefoere the provinces is so lagging behind and the country cannot get balance development. And, like metropolitan region, the more outer the living area of local wide-area city is spreading, the more serious wide-region transportation problems are. But the railroads near wide-area city fun seldom commuter train, so they cannot absorb the transportation demand of wide-area city metropolitan region. To solve above transportation problem, local wide- area cities try to make a subway or a light rail transit. But it is so difficult because the limit of public finance and original small capacity of light rail. In the paper, I propose 'Local city wide-area electric railways' system of the consortium of 'Local wide-city and province transportation union', Korean National Railroad (KNR) and local capital. A 'Local wide-city and province transportation union' operates commuter railways directly using the facilities of KNR, and local capital invests to the stations of above railways system. Therefore the commuter railway system around local wide-city region will be constructed quickly and the stations will be the strong point of local development and investment.

부산지역 도시교통체계의 개선방안에 관한 연구 (Improvement on the Urban Transportation System in Pusan Area)

  • Most of Cities are suffering from the traffic congestion problem with the vehicles increased. Especially, the City of Pusan is experiencing the severest traffic congestion with the lower read capacity and the higher travel demand than any other cities in the country. Thus, the purpose of this study was to grasp the conditions, review the problems and finally suggest the improvements which we faced at this time for the construction of the Urban Transportation System considered in Pusan area. Based upon the results, it was concluded that firstly the Urban Transportation System(UTS) in Pusan area should be constructed by the Public Transportation System in the center of the Public Transit Modes(i.e., bus and subway), secondly the Para-transit Modes(i.e., Light Rail Transit, LRT) introduced, and thirdly the Transportation Demand Management(TDM) implemented with the expansion of the transportation facilities if possible.

화재 사고에 대비한 무인 경전철의 비상대응절차에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Emergency Response Procedure of Unmanned Light Rail Transit (LRT) against Fire Accident)

  • 본 논문은 최근 상업 운전을 시작한 무인 경전철의 안정적인 운영을 위한 열차 화재사고 비상대응절차를 마련하기 위한 것이다. 기존 비상대응절차와 관련하여 무인 경전철이 갖는 하드웨어적, 소프트웨어적 특성을 분석하고, 특히 무인이 갖는 중요한 의미를 반영한 절차서를 제시하였다. 비상대응절차는 우선 비상대응계획의 목적 등에 부합해야하는데 이를 위해서 다음의 절차를 제시하였다. 첫째, 비상대응을 지원하기 위한 기능별 비상대응체계 구축, 둘째, 비상대응직원 및 기관간의 신속한 대응조치를 위한 표준운영절차(SOP) 구축, 셋째 일상 상황에서 비상대응직원에 대한 비상대응훈련 등의 체계를 반영한 상세 항목이다. 아울러 향후 이러한 비상대응계획에 따라 효율적인 관리를 위해 직원을 대상으로 한 훈련프로그램이 제시되어야 한다.

  • Running train is one of the most main factor for railway bridge vibration. The repeated forces with equidistant axles cause the magnification of dynamic responses which relates with maintenance of the track structure and structure-borne noises. The noise problem is one of the most important issues in services of light rail transit system which usually passes through towns. The noise of railway bridges can be divided into the noise from track-vehicle system and structure-borne noises. In the present study, The vibration and noise of the LRT bridge will be investigated with utilizing dynamics responses from moving train as input data for noise analysis.

  • This paper described the development of technology for LRT (Light Rail Transit) power system, which are sponsored by MOCT and supervised by KRRI. Especially, manufacture, interface between components and composition for DC Switchgear are focused. Most main components for DC switchgear(Protective Relay, HSCB, DS) are made by own. Also the type test report of international testing laboratory about the DC Switchgear based on IEC regulations is introduced. Finally the product will be proved based on field test.

  • 본 논문은 SE & SW Infra를 활용한 실용적인 시스템엔지니어링관리계획서(SEMP) 템플릿 개발에 관한 연구이다. SEMP는 시스템엔지니어링 업무활동 관리를 위한 최상위 수준의 계획서로서 경량전철 사업 수행 시 국내 실정에 맞도록 개발 하였다. 경량전철사업 수행 시 생성 되는 SEMP를 효과적이고 효율적으로 관리 및 개발하기 위하여 SE & SW 연계 Infra를 구축하였다. 본 논문을 통해서 전산기반의 SE & SW Infra 도구간 통합하는 것을 사례로 제시함으로써 향후 인력, 비용, 일정을 줄일 수 있을 것이다.

  • Nowadays, Short headway is a requirement of Signaling System applied to subway and Light Rail Transit (LRT) being constructed in Korea. To satisfy this Systematic Requirement, the accuracy of train position information on the line is one of the main element to improve ATC system safety and performance. On-board ATC system performs feasibility of Train Position as comparing data from balise installed along the track with data from tachometer installed at both axles of train.

  • Recently metropolitan local governments is actively introducing urban railway's expand and light rail transit as a means of new transport system. DC electricity feeder system operating in the domestic urban railway is typically a feedback circuit consisted of the contact wire and electric railway vehicle via rail. But stray current is to be defined as a current flowing on a structure that is not part of the intended electrical circuit with respect to a given structure. Stray current is generally results from the leakage of return currents from large DC traction systems that are grounded or have a bad earth-insulated return path. At the place where the current leaves the rail and metallic structures, electrolytic corrosion may take place. This paper presents comparison analysis of field test methods based on criteria of electrolytic corrosion protection of buried metallic structures adjacent to DC traction systems.

  • This paper presents a case study of PSD(Platform Screen Door) system assurance based on EN50126 life-cycle stage. By applying this system assurance, the accidents related to urban light transit railway especially that caused casualties could be reduced tremendously. This case study contributes significantly to the reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the PSD system. Request For Proposal (RFP) of a rail road operator in which required by RAMS is prepared in which to ensure all system assurance activity and safety assessment are compulsory. The step-by-step activities and related deliverables are used which include functional analysis, FMECA, hazard identification analysis, system hazard analysis, maintainability analysis, FRACAS, and finally verification and validation of the system.
