노인부모부양에 관한 기혼자녀세대의 인식: 초점집단토론(FGD) 자료분석을 중심으로 (Challenge of the Aging Society and Familial Support for the Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라에 도래한 고령화 사회에서 나타나는 노부모 가족부양의 한계 및 노부모 부양에 대한 기혼자녀세대의 인식과 국가정책에의 기대를 파악한다. 자료는 기혼자녀 30대와 40대 응답자들을 나이, 성별, 부모동거 경험여부에 따라 각 5-6명씩 구성된 총 8개 집단의 초점집단토론(FGD:Focus Group Discussions)을 통해 수집되었다. 연구결과 노부모부양의 우선적인 책임은 가족에 있다는 인식이 지배적이지만 노부모 가족부양의 부담감이나 부모와 동거시의 애로사항도 제시된다. 특히 부모가 더 연로해지거나 건강이 나빠질 경우에 예상되는 동거부양에 대한 부담감이 크게 나타났다. 우리사회에서 노부모는 가족이 부양해야 한다는 의식이 여전히 높게 나타나고 있지만 고령화에 따른 노인부양과 복지문제의 심각성을 고려하면 가족이 부모부양을 전담하는 것은 점차 어려워질 것으로 예상된다. 따라서 노인부양에 대해 국가 및 지역 사회의 책임 비중 및 기대 또한 증대됨을 전망할 수 있다.

현대 미인에 나타난 노자적 미학의 표현양상: 화장품 광고를 중심으로 (Contemporary Beauty Expressions from the Perspective of Lao-tzu's Philosophy: Focusing on Cosmetics Advertisement)

  • The aim of this study is to examine the patterns of expressing contemporary beauty from the perspective of Laotzu's philosophy in order to suggest its concept and characteristics and to suggest specific cases through cosmetics advertisement. In doing so, the study attempted to understand that contemporary beauty is more humanistic and liberal in terms of expression patterns than in any other time period. The research results are as below. The frame concept of Laotzu's philosophy includes 1. Naturalness, 2. coexistence in Conflict, and 3. Non-otherness. The characteristics of contemporary beauty are natural and healthy, People can foresee changing beauty by the cycle of life and, by admitting this philosophy, people can understand one's individuality and discover self-esteemed beauty. Also, the results from the cases of cosmetics advertisement are as below: 1. Naturalness was remarkable. Such phenomenon was common in representative brands of the research subjects. Expression pattern was based on soft, natural make-up and hair style. 2. For conflict and coexistence, they introduced the ancient image of the situation, and the situational image using food and herbs demonstrated a functional, situational image, which was used for the cosmetics advertisement based on the mutual coexistence concept instead of dichotomy of period or material. 3. Non-otherness advertisement, of which there was none, we expected that maximized marketing effect would be achieved if non-otherness cosmetics advertisement expressed the contemporary beauty because it could solicit sympathy form many consumers.

보건교육과 건강증진의 국제적인 동향: 우선순위 사업에 대한 검토 (International Trend of Health Education and Health Promotion)

  • For the development of Korean health promotion projects, this paper appraised the capacities of health promotion projects and examined the latest international trend of the health promotion field, based on the appraisal of data made by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, 2005 and IUHPE relevant reports. The capacities of Korean health promotion should be strengthened as follows: First, it is urgent to give health education and to use the professionals of it. Secondly, setting approach is required when working on health promotion projects. Thirdly, it is necessary to strengthen the capacities of local communities through the central government's administrative and financial supports for the healthy cities project which is a strategy of general approach to new public health projects. The $21^{st}$ century is an age of new public health that the cause for deaths increasingly is centered on life style. So it is necessary to expand the scope of health education to the field of making the environment of local community healthy beyond the level of individual health education. And further, it is required to develop the curriculum of health and to work out new strategies for health promotion. In conclusion, Korea should train competent human resources in the fields of practice of healthy public policies, of knowledge-based projects, and of health promotion (like health educators). The political direction for it should be to promote various healthy city projects, not only health center-led health promotion projects, and further, to strengthen the capacities of the health promotion projects of local communities.

연소 · 고령 노인의 성별에 따른 건강 및 영양상태 비교 조사 연구 (Nutritional Status, Nutrients Intakes, and Health Status of Young-old and Old-old Homebound Elderly in Korea)

  • Purpose: Number of the old-old elderly is rapidly increasing in Korea, but it is unclear whether there are differences between old-old and young-old elderly in nutritional status, nutrient intakes and health status. The gender differences in Korean elderly in these conditions also remains unknown. This study, therefore, investigated gender-associated differences in nutritional, health status and nutrient intakes and how they are related among young-old and old-old homebound elderly. Methods: Two hundred and eighty elderly who were attending a local elderly welfare center were recruited. Evaluation included demographic, nutritional and health status related data, nutritional intakes, and life style related factors including physical activity. Results: Of the 280 subjects, old-old were 147 (52.5%) and young-old were 133 (47.5%). Male old-old elderly had more often abdominal obesity than female old-old, but male old-old more often had malnutrition than female old-old. There were few differences in nutrient intakes between old-old male elderly and female elderly after energy intakes were controlled. Male old-old more often had less intake of beta carotene and Vitamin A than female old-old. On the other hand, male old-old elderly more often had hypercholesterolemia and hypertension than male young-old. Conclusion: Male old-old may be at a greater health and nutritional risk than female old-old. Targeted nutritional intervention for male old-old emphasizing antioxidant nutritional intakes may be warranted.

1인가구의 건강관련 습관적 소비, 생활시간이 주관적 건강에 미치는 영향: 비1인가구와 세대별 비교를 중심으로 (The Effect of Health-Related Habitual Consumption and Lifetime on Subjective Health of One Person Households: Focusing on Comparison between Non-One Person Households and Generations)

  • Recently, one-person households have surpassed nuclear families. One-person households are expected to have many problems with health due to an irregular life style and a tendency to be more isolated from society. In addition, we need to divide the generations and survey each generation due to differences in one-person household factors and characteristics as well as the unique physical conditions of each generation. Therefore, based on the sixth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, this survey examined health behavior differences between one-person households and non-one-person households according to generation (respectively) as well as studied how one-person households and health behavior influence subjective health conditions. The major result of this survey is as follows. First, one-person households reveal a higher rate in the negative health behavior than non-one-person households. Second, the physical activity of all households reveals a high rate of non-activity. Third, health scores of one-person households are lower than that of non-one-person households; consequently, the analysis of health scores for one-person households and non-one-person households indicated that the middle age health scores for one-person households have been lowest in generations. Fourth, the factors that influence subjective health conditions indicated that one-person household and health behavior has meaningful influence; in addition, the subjective health condition of one-person households are lower than non-one-person households under controlled health behavior.

중국 신화 무협 MMORPG 캐릭터 디자인에서 전통예술 표현에 관한 연구 (A Study on Traditional Art Expression in Chinese Myth Martial MMORPG Character Design)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 최근 중국 게임시장에서 인기 있는 온라인게임의 전통예술 표현 특징을 분석하는 것이다. 전통 중국문화의 미적 특징에 대한 플레이어의 심리 선호도를 반영하는 MMORPG 캐릭터를 디자인함으로써 플레이어가 게임을 즐기는 동시에 시각적 만족감을 느낄 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 최근 전통문화를 배경으로 제작한 중국 온라인게임은 많은 플레이어들에게 인기를 끌고 있지만, 외국게임업계의 중국 게임시장 진입에 따라 더욱 다원화된 방식으로 진행되고 있다. 이러한 현재의 중국 온라인 게임 환경을 고려하여 중국 MMORPG 중에서 고유한 전통예술 표현을 활용하는 전통 신화 무협 게임을 선택하고, 개인 플레이어를 반영하는 이상적인 캐릭터 조작이나 사회성 등을 분석하여 전통인물의 형태, 복식, 색, 주거환경을 반영한 표현기법, 캐릭터의 이상적인 형태나 전통 신화의 제한된 주제의 재구성, 캐릭터의 독창성이나 개성이 강조된 집합체 캐릭터 특징을 파악하였다. 중국 MMORPG 역사가 길지 않지만 이러한 연구를 통해 중국의 전통 문화 예술과 관련된 신화 무협 MMORPG의 정체성을 파악하고 플레이어로 하여금 더욱 효과적인 온라인게임의 이해와 만족감을 증가시킬 수 있으리라 본다.

  • 인터넷의 급속한 확산은 우리의 생활 전반을 뒤흔들고 있다. 특히, 가정에서의 네트워크 환경은 댁내 통신망(Home Area Network)이라는 이름으로 활발한 연구가 진행중이다. 댁내의 가전기기들이 점차 디지털화 되고 네트워크 기술을 요구하게 됨에 따라 가정에서의 인터넷 사용 요구도 급격하게 증가하고 있다. 현재 가정에서 사용할 수 있는 고속 인터넷 기법으로는 케이블 모뎀과 ADSL 모뎀이 있다. 또 앞으로는 FTTH까지 발전할 것으로 전망된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 고속 인터넷 기법들을 가정에서 이용할 경우에 사용자들의 멀티미디어 요구를 만족시킬 수 있는 지를 확인하기 위해 실제 제공받을 수 있는 성능을 측정하였다. 또 초고속 시험망을 이용하여 FTTH를 사용할 경우에 우리가 제공받을 수 있는 성능을 측정하였다.

바이오-에너지/케미컬 동시-생산 시스템 바이오리파이너리의 동향 (Trends of Biorefinery as Systems for Bioenergy/Biochemicals Co-Products)

  • 현대 사회에서 우리는 주로 화석 연료 인프라 위에 구축된 화석 연료 경제 시대에 살고 있다. 그 결과 발생하는 에너지 도전문제(예: 화석 연료의 자원 고갈 문제, 환경 오염 문제, 에너지 안보 문제)로 지속가능 발전은 한계에 부딪히고 있는 실정이다. 이들 도전문제를 극복하기 위해 기존 석유-기반 리파이너리, 즉 석유 정제(ORF) 역할을 대체할 바이오에너지(예: 바이오연료, 전기, 열) 및 바이오케미컬 (예: C5 계열, C6 계열) 동시-생산 시스템으로 바이오매스를 사용한 바이오리파이너리(BRF) 개념이 새롭게 출현하였다. 이는 석유 경제에서 바이오경제로 패러다임 천이(shift)가 진행되고 있음을 가리키는 지표(indicator)가 된다. 이러한 바이오매스-기반 경제는 현재 구축되어 있는 ORF 인프라를 거의 변경 없이 그대로 활용할 수 있는 높은 호환성, 적은 폐기물 발생량, 이산화탄소 중성적 친환경성, 지역 농업/임업 경제 활성화 등과 같은 매력적인 강점들을 갖고 있다. 무엇보다도 석유 자원 빈곤국이 고 석유 수입국이며 ORF 인프라를 이미 구축한 우리나라에서는 에너지 안보 및 지속가능 발전 측면에서 고가치 BRF 시스템의 연구 개발 및 기술 사업화에 국가적 차원에서 아낌없이 투자와 지원을 제공해야 할 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 이 연구에서는 바이오에너지/바이오케미컬 동시-생산용 시스템으로 활용될 BRF 기술의 국내외 동향을 소개하고자 한다.

한국 전통건축미(美)와 전통가구에 내재된 자연미(美)의 유기적 특징 연구 (Study of the organic characteristics between Korean traditional aesthetic of architecture and the natural beauty being intrinsic in traditional furniture)

  • Korean traditional architecture has been carried out in the manner that it harmonized surrounding natural environments and never disturbed them in the scale which did not overwhelm the nature, based on the view of architecture predicated on Yin Yang School. The exposed grain of the wood like pillar, hinge and house rafte, the linear expression of the construction material and the formation between the window and door monopolizing the front side presented a harmony with the nature showing the linear structure. Furthermore the ceiling is low due to the sit life style thanks to the ondol (Korean under-floor heating system and the furniture was made in simple manner to utilize the space as large as possible, for the interior was narrow and close, and also the furniture placing in the middle of the room was movably manufactured to improve the room space. Like this Korean traditional furniture was close associated with the low height and simplicity and harmonized with the blank of the wall accordingly, and it characterized linear & planar natural beauty focusing on the simple and refined unique beauty, because it was made in a good harmony with the interior utensils. This study has presented that the organic characteristics of Korean traditional aesthetic of architecture and the natural beauty being intrinsic in traditional furniture have a mutual relation on the basis of not only the visual recognition, also the aesthetic of naturalism made of the natural material, the constructional naivety as a frame method and the linear & planar formative beauty shown in appearance.

전국 승가대학 예비승려들의 식행동과 음식기호도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dietary Behavior and Food Preference of Sramanera·Sramanerika Monks in Nationwide Buddhist Monk's Universities)

  • Objectives: This study was designed to find out factors that are needed to be improved for the Buddhist training environment of Sramanera Sramanerika monks, who have been newly adapted for their life style after becoming a monk, and to provide basic data for the development of the standard diet in Buddhist temples. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was applied to 365 Sramanera Sramanerika monks at 11 Buddhist monk universities. The questionnaire was designed to investigate their dietary habits, dietary evaluation, satisfaction of food service, and food preferences. Results: The study population consisted of 52.6% men, and 47.4% women. The subjects who had a vegetarian diet before joining the Buddhist priesthood were 27.7% women, and 13.5% men (p<0.01). 42.2% of the total subjects felt that they are healthy now and 19.4% felt weak. The most difficulty of dieting adaptation as soon as entering the priesthood was the strict diet rules (42.9%). The subjects considered health or nutrition (40.0%) highly when having meals. 94.8% women, 84.1% men ate breakfast every day (p<0.001). Women (55.4%) frequently ate snacks more than men (26.6%) (p<0.001). The results of the dietary evaluation indicated that the intake of milk, soy milk or dairy products and beans or tofu received lower than 3 points and women had lower point result than men (p<0.001). Foods with higher preference were grilled mushrooms, grilled laver, miso stew, sweet and sour mushrooms, steamed tofu with seasoning. Conclusions: Women were more interested in their health than men but they also required to improve the nutritional eating habits. It appeared that the lower intake rates of the calcium containing food (milk and dairy), and proteins (beans and tofu) could result in nutritional imbalance. Therefore, it is necessary to offer food based on the standard menu plan with consideration given to their food preferences in order to maintain their health and desirable dietary habits.
