중국 산동성 지역 대학생의 식품 위생.안전성에 대한 인식도 및 정보 획득 행동 분석 (Analysis on Awareness and Information Acquisition Behavior Regarding Food Hygiene and Safety of University Students in Shandong Province, China)

  • This study examined awareness and information acquisition behavior regarding food hygiene and safety of university students to improve safe dietary practices and to get basic information to develop educational materials for food safety. It was conducted among 276 university students of Qingdao University and Liaocheng University in Shandong province, China through a self-administered questionnaire. Data were analyzed by SPSS Windows V.19.0. To describe characteristics of the respondents, frequency distributions were used. In addition, t test, one-way analysis of variance and Duncan's multiple range tests were conducted. The results were as follows: The respondents were generally interested in food hygiene and safety. However, the level of awareness regarding the food hygiene and safety system in China was not high. Almost forty-five percent of the respondents did not think that foods produced and distributed in China were safe. For the reasons for their distrust, most of the students replied that they did not trust the safety 'because of distrust for hygiene of the food process', followed by 'because of distrust for food distribution' and 'because of excess or illegal use of food additives on food process'. The respondents answered for the concern level toward food hygiene and safety foodborne disease threatened food safety the most, followed by heavy metal contamination and endocrine disruptors. The respondents acquired most information from electronic media including TV and radio. Most of the students wanted to participate in food hygiene and safety education. Finally, when they found hazardous or foreign materials in food the most frequent reaction was 'paying attention in the next purchase', followed by 'notifying others', and 'letting it go this time but never buying that product in the future'.

  • This study examined awareness and information acquisition behavior regarding food hygiene and safety and information search behavior of college students. The sample was obtained from 284 students in Yeungnam region through a self-administered questionnaire. To describe characteristics of the respondents, frequency distributions were used. In addition, $t$ tests, analysis of variance and Duncan multiple range tests were conducted. Data were analyzed by SPSS Windows V.18.0. The results of the study were as follows: (1) most respondents were concerned about food hygiene and safety. They were mostly interested in the expiration date label on breads, milk/dairy products, fish products and meat products, and price of cookies. Many respondents answered that foods produced and distributed in Korea were not safe. The respondents were most worried about endocrine disruptors among various food risk factors. The respondents received information on food hygiene and safety from blogs, mini-homepages, or Kin-searches on the Internet, electronic media, and food labeling in decreasing order.

소비자의 식품 위해요인에 대한 인식도 및 식품 안전에 대한 정보탐색 행동 (Consumers' Awareness of the Risk Elements Associated with Foods and Information Search Behavior Regarding Food Safety)

  • The study was conducted to evaluate consumer awareness of the risk elements associated with foods and their information search behavior regarding food safety. The data were collected from 504 adult consumers living in Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon, and Gwangju through a self-administered questionnaire on August, 2006. Frequency analyses, t tests, one-way analysis of variance, and Duncan's multiple range comparison tests were conducted to analyze the responses using SPSS v. 14.0. The levels of recognition of consumers regarding each risk element were generally low. Many respondents answered that they obtained information regarding food safety from TV/radio/newspapers and family/relatives/friends/neighbors. The respondents also indicated that they had strong confidence in the information from family/relatives/friends/neighbors. Additionally, most respondents required information regarding heavy metal contamination, endoctrine disruptors, and avian influenza.

고속도로 휴게소 영양표시 인식 여부에 따른 영양표시 만족도, 구매행동 변화 및 식생활관리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Association among Satisfaction of Nutrition Labeling, Change of Purchase Behaviors, and Dietary Life Care, based on the Awareness of Nutrition Labeling at Expressway Rest Areas)

  • This study was to investigate the association among satisfaction of nutrition labeling, change of purchase behaviors, and dietary life care, based on the awareness of nutrition labeling at expressway rest areas. The subjects (n=903) were divided into two groups, according to the awareness of nutrition labeling: Awareness of Nutrition Labeling (ANL) group, n=367; Non Awareness of Nutrition Labeling (NANL) group, n=536. Effort of health care and identification of nutrition labeling was significantly higher in the ANL group, compared with the NANL group. As for the main reason for not identifying nutrition labeling, 'not interested in nutrition labeling' was the highest in the ANL group, and 'Don't know nutrition labeling is provided' in the NANL group. Identification ratio of nutrition labeling in future was significantly higher in the NANL group, compared with the ANL group among the subjects who didn't identify nutrition labeling before. After their becoming aware, a change of food purchase after reading the nutrition labeling was significantly higher in the ANL group, compared with the NANL group. Health beliefs on the nutrition labeling were significantly higher in the ANL group, compared with the NANL group. Satisfaction of nutrition labeling was also significantly higher in the ANL group, compared with the NANL group. The ANL group also expressed a necessity of expansion of nutrition labeling, compared with the NANL group. In the ANL group, identification of nutrition labeling was significantly higher in the hard effort group, compared with the little effort group of dietary life care. Therefore, improvement and campaign of nutrition labeling for consumers at expressway rest areas, especially for the NANL group, will be effective in identifying nutrition labeling for their health care.

기숙사생의 안전의식 조사를 통한 재해예방 대책 연구 (A Study on the Disaster Prevention Measures through Safety Awareness Survey for the Students living in a Dormitory)

  • 대학 기숙사생들의 안전의식 수준을 평가하여 사고예방을 위한 문제점 도출 및 개선방안을 제시하기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 사생들 150명을 대상으로 안전교육 실시의 내용, 효과, 요구도 등을 조사하였으며, 개인별 안전의식 수준을 평가하기 위하여 위험요소의 파악, 위험한 행동, 재난 대응 요령 등을 설문하였다. 연구결과, 안전교육의 만족도와 효과는 높았던 것으로 조사되었으며, 사고요인에 대한 인지도는 높으나 구체적인 대응방법에 대한 이해도가 부족한 것으로 나타나 재난발생 시 대응방법에 대한 안전교육을 강화하여야 할 것으로 생각된다.

일개 공업계 고등학교 학생의 안전교육과 학교안전 인식에 관한 사례 연구 (Case Study the Awareness of Safety Education and School Safety of one Technical high school Students)

  • 본 사례 연구는 공업계 고등학교 학생들의 안전 및 안전교육에 대한 인식을 조사하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 본 연구를 통해 공업계 고등학교 학생들의 안전의식에 대한 효율적인 교육을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구는 학교안전교육 분야 및 학교 생활안전 분야 각 7개 항목씩 모두 14개 항목에 대한 설문조사를 실시하는 것으로 진행하였다. 설문에 응답한 학생은 경기도 일개 공업계 고등학교 전자, 건축, 토목 관련학과에 재학하는 1학년과 2학년 학생 455명이다. 설문 결과는 SPSS win19.0을 이용하여 교차분석, 신뢰도분석 및 빈도분석 등의 통계처리를 하였다. 본 연구에서 설문의 신뢰성 Cronbach ${\alpha}$는 0.871~0.882 이다. 조사 결과에 따르면, 학생들은 현재 진행되고 있는 학교에서의 안전교육에는 흥미로운 내용이 없는 것으로 생각하고 있었다. 학교에서 안전교육은 학교생활에는 도움이 되지만 일상생활에 유용하지 않다고 생각하는 것으로 조사되었다. 조사대상 공업계 고등학교 학생들은 실험실에서 지켜야 하는 안전규정은 잘 지키고 있으나 보호 장구 착용은 잘 지켜지지 않는 것으로 조사되었다. 학생들이 안전에 대해 인식하고 있는 것과 실천하는 것에는 차이가 있어 생활에서 실천해야 하는 안전에 관한 의식은 상대적으로 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

  • Korean apartment buildings have been manhattanized and enlarged, but it caused increase of fire accidents. Fire accidents such as Uijeongbu apartment fire(2015), and Ssangmoon apartment fire(2016) caused many deads because of a lack of emergency exit route awareness. Follow to advanced research, conducted suervey on fire safety awareness. On this study, it will present the basic data based on the result of the survey to secure the life.

선진 재난안전의식의 활성화를 위한 방안 연구 (A Study on the Development Plan for Promotion of Advanced Disaster-Safety Awareness)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구에서는 대형재난사고의 주요한 요인으로 지적되는 국민들의 재난안전의식을 활성화 시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법:본 연구에서는 재난관리 및 안전의식에 관한 이론적인 검토를 실시하고, 재난사고의 원인을 도출하기 위해 '재난관리평가 국민안전 체감도의식' 조사 결과 및 대형재난사고 사례들을 분석하여 선진 재난안전의식 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 연구결과: 재난관리평가 국민안전 체감도 조사를 통해 재난관리 4단계 중 '대응'차원은 잘 수행되고 있으나, '복구'차원이 미흡한 국민들은 인식하고 있었고, 특히 '예방' 차원에서 재난안전에 대한 교육이 매우 부족하다고 느끼고 있었다. 국민 안전의식 조사를 통해서는 대피시설에 대한 인지 수준이 매우 낮았고, 감염병과 붕괴사고에 대한 정보가 부족한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 일상생활에서의 안전수칙 준수에 대한 인식이 미흡한 것으로 드러났다. 대형재난사고(코로나19, 밀양세종병원 화재, 2004년 동해안 산불)에 대한 사례를 분석한 결과, 안전불감증과 같은 안전의식의 결여가 피해규모의 확대를 유발시킨 주요한 원인임을 도출하였다. 결론:재난사고를 예방·감소시킬 수 있는 가장 근본적인 요소는 선진 재난안전의식의 활성화이며, 이를 제고하기 위한 세 가지 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저, 안전교육 및 안전홍보 활동의 확대를 통한 안전문화운동의 확산이 필요하다. 두 번째로는 재난대응에 대한 실효성을 향상시키기 위해 일반인들을 대상으로 하는 재난대비훈련을 시행해야 한다. 마지막으로 안전에 대한 개개인의 인식 전환이 필요하다. 이러한 요소들이 체계적으로 이루어져야만 선진 재난안전의식이 제고될 수 있을 것이며, 궁극적으로 우리 사회의 재난사고들이 감소될 수 있을 것이다.

노인들의 식품위생·안전에 대한 인식, 지식과 행동에 관한 연구 (Analysis of Awareness, Knowledge, and Behavior about Food Hygiene·Safety Among the elderly)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the awareness, knowledge, and behavior about food hygiene·safety among the elderly, and to provide basic data on this for their healthy dietary life. Methods: The study was conducted through a survey using a self-administered questionnaire on 473 elderly people over 60 years old living in Seoul and Gyeonggido. The questionnaire was designed to examine general characteristics, meal preparation status, the relation between awareness, knowledge, food hygiene behavior, and safety. Results: Among the particpants, 44.2% of the total people surveyed were elderly married couples, and 14.0% were single-person households. For men, most of the meals were prepared by the spouse (74.1%), and among women, 93.8% prepared their meals themselves (P < 0.001). 61.3% of the total subjects answered that they were very interested in food hygiene and safety. Men (32.4%) thought it was more difficult to collect food hygiene·safety information compared to women (14.0%, P < 0.001). The knowledge score about food hygiene·safety was 0.60 (P < 0.05) and the behavior score was 3.70 (P < 0.001). The correlation coefficient between knowledge and behavior according to food hygiene·safety was 0.371 (P < 0.001). Conclusions: The food hygiene·safety behavior of the elderly was associated with knowledge (P < 0.001). Therefore, food hygiene·safety education is necessary to ensure information availability and promote the health of the elderly.
