This research investigated the effects of university library users' use patterns and their recognition of service benefits on the magnitude of service value assessments derived from users' statements using contingent valuation method (CVM). Library users' use patterns were operationalized by the number of library visits, library website visit counts and the degree of dependence on their own libraries. User benefits variables were measured by the level of satisfaction on the benefits of library use for teaching & instruction, research & writings, and employment & external activities. University library services were divided into circulation, journal articles (domestic & foreign), reference service, user education, reading room service and WTPs for each service were measured. The results from hypotheses testing show that the number of library visits affect WTP amounts for circulation, foreign article use, reference service and user education. The degree of library dependence seems to affect WTP amounts for circulation and user education. With regards to the hypotheses related to the recognition of library service benefits, the degree of satisfaction for teaching & instruction benefits seems to affect WTP amounts for reading room use.

By using this system, the developers can save the necessary time and effort in education development. This system also helps students. In this study, the direction and contents of public education to develop competencies that are in line with the 2022 revised curriculum and the paradigm of future education were sought, and a plan for reading education was prepared. A creative and cooperative problem-solving method and process as not only information literacy ability to read, select, and reconstruct information but also transformative competency to respond to uncertain future and diversified situations are important amid the complex, pluralistic and rapid development of information and communication technology It was intended to give an experience of exploring and communicating through reading in order to explore and derive it. Analyze the general outline and syllabus of the curriculum, international education project definitions and indicators, and organize academic theories and research to set the direction and goal of high school reading education, and organize creative and convergence class strategies and reading activities A library reading class model was developed. Accordingly, the class model was revised by applying the development research method, and the final model was developed by supplementing it through field application evaluation. In order to achieve the research purpose end, a two-round Delphi survey was conducted on 10 reading education and curriculum experts. The model modified through the Delphi survey was developed in the final school library convergence reading class model by demonstrating the class in the educational field and supplementing it through application evaluation.

Creative thinking in education is a common assumption to be accomplish in this information age. Information education can contribute to build the ability to think creatively. The Author explored how information education conduces the creative thinking ability that is necessary to the development of independent and competent study for students themselves. The writer also expressed the integrated education makes students think synthetically and synthetic educational experience derives creative thinking. She based her arguments upon the theory of the psychology of memory and the Piaget's cognitive structure. To increase the effects of information education, it is necessary to integrate the curriculums and learning method of the information education and those of other areas of learning, i,e., languages, literatures, social sciences, sciences, mathematics, etc. Here, author asserted that the teaching of information skill within classroom curriculums for all subject areas can make the integrated effects on various classroom curriculums. On the basis of the findings of this study, the author recommended that every school needs to prepare enough books and other media for the students to drill information skill. Consequently, to build creative thinking ability for He students, librarians, classroom teachers and school principals who have influence on the information education, have to cooperate to initiate integrated information education for the student.

The purpose of this study was to develop teaching-learning method for reading guidance librarians in Korean Library and Information Science. Even though it was an increase of needs for reading guidance librarians in libraries, reading education courses provided by LIS in Korea lacked. Also, most reading education courses of LIS stressed knowledge-oriented education than the practice of reading program design or reading experience. So this study developed the teaching-learning method of the self-directed learning for the activities of post-reading portfolio, management of reading program for motivation, and the team-projected learning for the design of reading program.

According to the 7th education curriculum and advent of information society people expect the school library to do various things. Based on an evaluation model of education policy, the policy process of the school library was divided into an agenda setting, policy making and policy implementation. Then I developed a method of evaluation from an administrative and political point of view. Using this, I analyzed problems with school library policy and I categorized them. I suggested better solutions for Improving the school library policy.

A status analysis and focus group interviews with librarians, school librarians and experts were conducted to find a new direction for revitalization of 19 public libraries affiliated to the Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education in the context of the advent of a new educational environment following the 4th industrial revolution. Through the research method, the knowledge experience edu library through the library community school was set as the vision of a public library belonging to the Chungnam Office of Education. The direction of public library service as an edu-library was divided into specialization as an educational library, life cycle customized service, knowledge experience-oriented service, and 4th industrial revolution intelligent information society service. Based on the traditional functions of the library, the space that the future public library should have was presented as an experiential learning space. In this study, a specialized direction for strengthening the educational function of libraries belonging to the Chungnam Office of Education was presented, which will contribute to finding ways to cooperate with schools and school libraries, and will provide a basis for preparing directions for libraries belonging to other regional offices of education.

This study aims to investigate the problems in conducting the first year project of a five-year school library revitalization project and to suggest the alterative to the present system for the following years. The method of evaluation was to visit the 16 local ministries of education and to interview the government school inspectors, school principals, teachers-in-chief, teacher librarians and parents. The evaluation was conducted based on the following criteria； school library facilities and increase in collection, enrichment of education W through school library, location of manpower and enhancement of profession and building the cooperation system with the private and public sectors. Additionally, school library service training and library support system were evaluated.
