이용자들은 도서관을 이용하기 위해 개인정보를 도서관에 제공해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 이용자들을 대상으로 도서관 이용자 프라이버시에 대한 인식을 조사하고 프라이버시 관련 교육을 제공한 후 교육효과를 측정하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 본인 프라이버시에 대한 관심도, 도서관 이용자 프라이버시 문제의 심각성, 프라이버시 침해 가능한 도서관 데이터요소 등에서 교육 후 인식변화가 크게 일어났다. 둘째, 이용자들은 현재 도서관에서 수집하고 있는 이용자에 대한 서비스 기록이 이용자 프라이버시를 어느 정도 침해할 것이라고 생각하고 있는지에 대해 25개 항목 모두에서 교육 후 큰 인식 변화가 있었다. 셋째, 도서관 이용자 프라이버시 보호를 위해 도서관 및 사서가 수행해야 할 노력에 대해 15개의 문항 모두 교육 후 평균값이 유의하게 올라갔음을 알 수 있었다. 넷째, 도서관 이용자는 도서관 기록의 열람 및 취급에 있어 정당한 절차가 필요하다고 인식하게 되었으며 이를 위한 절차의 필요성에 공감하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 다섯째, 도서관 기록이 유출되었을 경우 이용자가 느끼는 심각성은 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구에서는 대학생의 전자저널 이용현황 및 이용행태를 조사하여 전자저널 이용 활성화 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는 D대학교에서 교양과목을 수강하고 있는 일반학생과 문헌정보학전공 학생을 대상으로 도서관 웹사이트에 관한 인식 및 사용, 전자저널 이용행태, 서비스 품질, 이용자교육 및 홍보와 관련하여 설문조사와 면담조사를 병행하였다. 또한 자관 도서관 웹사이트 분석과 담당사서와의 면담조사를 통해 전자저널 서비스 제공과 관련하여 실무자의 입장에서 자료도 수집하였다. 연구결론에서는 설문 및 면담조사를 통하여 발견된 문제점에 대한 논의와 일반학생들의 전자저널 이용수준을 높이기 위한 방안을 제언하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to empirically verify the structural relationship between public library service-scape, flow, user satisfaction, and customer loyalty for adults who use public libraries for academic purposes in a changing public library environment. To this end, this study reviewed the concepts of public library service-scape, immersion, user satisfaction, and customer loyalty with existing literature, proposed a research model based on this, and empirically verified them. Methods: This study collected and statistically analyzed data for adults using public libraries for the purpose of reading books or studying. The collected data were checked using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 and the research hypothesis was verified by analyzing the results using the structural equation modeling technique. Results: The results of the study are as follows. First, spatiality, aesthetics, and amenity of service-scapes have a positive effect on flow. Second, spatiality and amenity of service-scapes have a positive effect on user satisfaction. Third, Flow has a positive effect on user satisfaction. Fourth, Flow and user satisfaction have a positive effect on customer loyalty. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it suggests a strategic direction to enhance the service competitiveness of public libraries by strengthening the service-scape.

This study aimed to discuss the utilization of a makerspace regarding 3D printers in a children's library by conducting co-design sessions targeting the end-users, children. To achieve this, a program utilizing a 3D printer was conducted for seven children at the Seoul Children's Library, followed by interviews with both the children and their parents. The results revealed several key findings: First, during the design sessions, participating children showed interest in the physical realization of ideas through the use of a 3D printer. Researchers adjusted their level of intervention based on each child's tendency, playing a supportive role. Second, children became aware of various limitations associated with 3D printers and public library makerspace. Third, the rapport between children and researchers positively influenced the design sessions, driven by the active communication of children. This study suggests a reevaluation of the value and necessity of library makerspace from the perspective of user autonomy and creativity and emphasizes the need to closely understand the end user's requirements in establishing operational strategies for library makerspace.

This study purposed to discover whether or not academic libraries reflect these changing roles. We selected K University as the research target and surveyed user satisfaction of materials, staff services, facilities, electronic devices, media, and so on. The research findings are as follows: 1) the frequency of library visits of University K was on the high side, 2) the primary purpose of using the academic library was associated with learning or reading, therefore, the most used library spaces were related to that, 3) the most used library materials were 'general books', the most unused were 'reference books', 4) the most preferred way to obtain needed materials when failing to find wanted materials was 'Contact librarian'. A similar phenomenon occurred in terms of facility use, 5) university K's users were usually satisfied with the loan policy, 6) the rate of users who don't know whether there is user education was very high, the rate of users who have no experience with user education was extremely low. These research findings can be referenced by library management to improve libraries' service quality and take advantage of complex spatial configurations.

본 연구에서는 시설환경, 장서, 서비스, 도서관홈페이지 등에 대한 만족도를 한국사회과학데이터연구원에서 제공하는 KSDC 프로그램을 사용하여, P대학도서관을 이용하는 대학생을 대상으로 2017년 12월 회수한 설문지를 분석하였다. 학생들의 성별, 학년, 전공에 따라 어떤 차이를 보이는지 ANOVA 등의 방법을 사용하여 검정하였고, 설문문항 내 변인간 상관관계의 정도를 Pearson 상관계수를 통하여 검정하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면, (1) 남녀의 성별 분석에서 설문조사 참여율도 여학생이 높고, 만족도도 여학생이 높게 나타난 것을 볼 때 남자대학생들을 도서관으로 유인할 수 있는 정책개발이 필요하다. (2) 그룹별 만족도에서 자료이용 부분이 가장 높게 나타났고, 시설환경 부분이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 특히 평균분석에서도 지리적 접근성이 가장 낮게 나타났으므로 이용자 접근성을 높일 수 있는 특별 대책이 필요하다. (3) 또한 상관관계 분석에서 이용자서비스 그룹과 시설환경 그룹이 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으므로 이용자서비스를 계획할 때 반드시 시설환경 부분을 함께 고려할 필요가 있는 것으로 보인다. 이외에도 이용자가 건의한 의견을 분석한 발전방안도 제시되어있다.

최근의 도서관 변화의 가장 큰 특징으로 먼저 이용자의 변화를 들 수가 있는데 평일의 학생이용중심에서 주부, 무직자, 고령자 이용과 휴일에는 가족동반이용 등으로 이용자의 속성이 변화하고 있고 이에 따라 체재형도 서관이라고 하는 새로운 개념의 도서관이 출현하여 이용자의 속성에 대응하는 형태로 독서서비스를 제공하고 있다. 본 연구는 체재형 도서관으로의 이행시기에 있는 도심의 공공도서관을 대상으로 도서관내에서의 가족의 이용행동 조사하여 가족이용유형의 구성특징 및 공간구성과의 상관관계를 분석하고 비독서행위에 대하여 고찰을 행하였다.

본 연구는 서울시 소재의 S 어린이도서관여 제공하는 다양한 서비스가 지역사회 및 지역주민에게 미치는 사회, 문화, 경제적 영향력에 대해서 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 도서관리시스템을 활용한 이용 통계 분석을 하였고, 타도서관 대비 효율성 비교 분석, 그리고 설문지를 통한 이용자 평가에 대한 분석을 시도하였다. 본 연구조사의 결과로 얻어낸 구체적인 수치를 통해 S 어린이도서관의 서비스 수준을 확인하였고, 지역사회에서의 어린이도서관의 역할과 존재적 의미를 파악하였으며, 이용자들의 인식을 통한 S어린이도서관의 지역사회에서의 경제적 기여도에 대한 측정을 함으로써 S어린이도서관의 가치를 구체화하고자 하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 이용자들의 대출기록을 이용하여 자료이용행태를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위하여, A대학도서관의 2012년 3월부터 2013년 2월말 사이에 발생한 264,804건의 대출관련 데이터를 수집하여 사용하였다. 자료의 주제별 그리고 이용자 유형에 따른 자료이용행태 분석을 위해, 전체 주제를 16개군으로 구분하였으며, 이용자 유형은 5개 집단(학부생, 대학원생, 교수, 직원, 기타이용자)으로 구분하였다. 이를 통해 대학도서관 이용자들의 주제별 자료이용 정도, 이용자 유형에 따른 주제별 자료이용 정도, 최신자료에 대한 주제별 선호도, 이용자 유형에 따른 최신자료의 선호도 등을 분석하였다.

The purpose of this work was to study library website users' actions by tracking their behavior, determining popular content, and identifying browsing patterns and subsequent improvement of access to popular content. The study of behavior models and the use of web analytics has led to the emergence of solutions that improve the usability and functionality of the State Public Scientific-Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPSTL SB RAS) website. These are: identifying user tasks as they are developed, conducting user testing to better understand the event. tracking data and collecting additional data to verify the effectiveness of the changes made. Examining data on the duration of the session and the number of visits will help determine the goals of user visits and develop new recommendations. Usability analysis and testing will make it possible to compare the data obtained using web analytics and the perception of the library site by the users themselves. Recommendations are offered to libraries on the use of data on the real behavior of the target audience of the library website to improve access to library resources and services, increase their relevance and improve information services.
