최근 어린이도서관, 작은 도서관 기적의 도서관 등 소규모 도서관이 증가하면서, 도서관건립운영에 필요한 전문적인 지식과 경험을 제공하는 도서관컨설팅시스템의 구축이 요망되고 있다. 도서관컨설팅에 대한 공공도서관 사서들의 의견을 조사한 결과, 도서관컨설팅에 대한 잠재적 수요는 매우 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 도서관컨설팅에 대한 사회적 경험이 부족한 우리나라의 실정에서는 도서관컨설팅서비스가 공공기관에 의해 공공서비스로서 실시되는 것이 바람직하다.

본 연구는 체험경제이론을 반영한 북큐레이션 교육 프로그램을 개발, 실행한 후에 프로그램에 대한 인식이 지각된 가치와 지속적 참여 의도에 미치는 영향력을 분석하려는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 개발한 북큐레이션 교육 프로그램은 체험경제이론에 따른 4가지 요소 즉, 오락적 경험, 교육적 경험, 현실 도피적 경험, 심미적 경험을 교수·학습 활동에 반영하였다. 이 연구는 프로그램의 효과를 측정하기 위해 프로그램에 참여한 195명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 분석한 결과, 연구가설 1(북큐레이션 교육 프로그램의 경험에 대한 인식이 프로그램의 지각된 가치에 영향을 미친다)은 심미적 경험과 오락적 경험이 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 연구가설 2(북큐레이션 교육 프로그램의 경험에 대한 인식이 지속적 참여 의도에 영향을 미친다)는 교육적 경험을 제외한 다른 모든 요인이 유의미한 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 수강생의 정보활용능력에 영향을 미치는 요인과 정보활용교육의 교육효과를 분석해보고 그 결과를 바탕으로 향후의 정보활용교육 활성화를 위한 방안을 제시하고자 함에 목적을 두었다. 정보활용교육 수강 전후의 컴퓨터조작기술, 도서관관련지식. 도서관이용빈도 및 정보활용능력의 평균값 차이를 비교하였다. 정보활용교육 수강생의 사전교육경험과 컴퓨터조작기술, 도서관이용지식 및 자료이용빈도가 정보활용능력에 미치는 영향 및 수강생의 수업만족도와 수강 후 견해와의 영향관계를 살펴본 가설 모두 채택되었다. 대학생들의 정보활용능력 향상을 위한 보다 체계적이고 심도 있는 교육 프로그램이 절실히 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 고등학교 교과교사들의 학교도서관에 대한 인식과 경험이 협력수업 시행의지에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 학교도서관 협력수업을 위한 기초자료를 제공함을 그 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 서울 지역의 고등학교 14개교의 교과교사 198명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 교과교사의 학교도서관에 대한 인식 및 학교도서관 관련 경험이 협력수업 시행의지에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 소속 학교 또한 교과교사의 시행의지와 관련된 일부 인식에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 교과교사들의 도서관 인식에 대한 차이가 협력수업 시행의지에 대해서 교육적 효과에 영향을 미치며, 필요성에는 큰 영향을 미치지 않았는데, 시행계획에 대해서는 모든 독립변인들의 유의한 영향을 파악하였다.

본 연구는 문헌정보학 전공의 교육과정에서 NCS를 적용한 교과목을 실제로 운영한 교수자들의 경험을 FGI 조사를 통해 심층적으로 분석하여, 향후 NCS 기반의 교육과정 설계 및 운영의 개선에 기여하고자 수행되었다. 분석 결과는 첫째, 교육현장에 도입된 NCS에 대해 교수자들은 전반적으로 NCS의 취지와 배경을 잘 알고 있었고, 문헌정보학 NCS 교과과정에 대해 직무요소 도출의 비 적절성, 실제 교육 및 실무현장의 의견 미반영, NCS 분류체계의 문제 등을 제시하였다. 둘째, NCS 교과 운영 경험에서는 산출물 서류 작업의 부담감, 평가의 방법이나 시기의 차별성, 학생과의 의사소통 필요성에 대한 의견 등이 제시되었다. 셋째, NCS 교과 운영의 문제점에 대해서는 적절한 수업인원 및 교육시간의 부여 필요성, 추가 교육시간 및 재평가의 필요성, NCS 교육과정 운영을 위한 지원시스템의 구축 필요성, 실습기자재의 구비 필요성, 상대평가제도와 NCS 평가제도와의 불일치 문제, 교육현장 및 실무에 적용될 수 있도록 능력단위와 수행준거의 보완 필요성 등을 제기하였다. 넷째, 향후 NCS 교과의 개선방안에 대해서는 수업인원의 적절한 배정, 실습기자재의 충분한 지원, 문헌정보학 분야의 특수성 및 현장 실무와 경험을 반영한 능력단위 및 능력단위요소의 개선 등이 제시되었다. 이러한 분석결과를 기반으로 문헌정보학 전공에서 향후 NCS에 기반을 둔 적절한 교육과정 설계 및 운영을 위한 몇 가지 시사점을 제시하였다.

Accurate and reliable Information improves decision making, reduces costs, and saves time. The ophthalmic Libraries supply quality ophthalmic information to the ophthalmologists to serve the patients in a better way and stimulate the growth of ophthalmic field. This paper aims to study the usage of library collection, services and assistance among the Ophthalmologists - Eye Doctors in India. A survey method is used to obtain the ophthalmologists' usage of library collection, services and assistance. Through convenient sampling method, a structured questionnaire is circulated to the ophthalmologists in India and 633 ophthalmologists are responded. Among the 633 ophthalmologist, 82.15% of the ophthalmologists use the library collection - book. 73.46% of the ophthalmologists use the online data / journals. 89.73% of the ophthalmologists seek assistance to locate books/articles/documents. There exists a significant difference between the ophthalmologists use of Library Service and gender (p value 0.001**). There exists a significant difference between the ophthalmologists use of Library Assistance / help and designation category (p value 0.000**). There exists a significant difference between the ophthalmologists use of Library Assistance / help and working experience (p value 0.017**). There exists a significant difference between Library Services (p value 0.009**), Library Assistance / help (p value 0.000**) and institution type. The study results will help the ophthalmic libraries to serve the user better.

이 연구는 울산남부도서관의 독서치료 프로그램 운영 결과를 분석한 것이다. 이 도서관은 사서가 중심이 되어 어린이와 주부를 대상으로 독서치료 프로그램을 운영하고 있으며, 그 과정에서 나타난 긍정적인 효과와 문제점을 검토하여 앞으로의 진행에 도움을 받고자 한다. 이를 위해 진행자와 참여자, 그리고 주변의 반응과 관심을 살펴보았으며, 연구자의 경험과 관찰을 바탕으로 문제점을 고찰하였다.

Librarians, who work for University libraries in Korea experience a lot of confusion and difficulties because of rapidly-changing technological conditions and under-developed understanding of the University Libraries' full potential on the part of the users. I present the concept of 'Subject Services' as an approach which librarians could use to overcome these difficulties in their own way. The 'Subject Services' refers to the 'subjectized' collection development and reference services, which can more specifically address the users' needs. To make this idea more concrete, I selected Pusan National University Library as the case of my qualitative research. And I made use of various research techniques such as 'participant observation' and 'ethnographic interview'. After looking into the case library in depth, I found that the concept of 'Subject Specialist'. a person who has double master's degrees including that of library and information science, is more suitable to the University Libraries in Korea at the present developmental stage. At the end of this article, propose that the development of Core Collections, the improvement of subject-oriented reference services and the continuing education of librarians should be emphasized.

This study attempts to draw the implications of student satisfaction with fieldwork courses in the library and information science (LIS) program in South Korea by determining the level of satisfaction experienced by students with practicums at a library and information service agency. LIS students with fieldwork experience were surveyed to assess their satisfaction and the factors affecting their satisfaction. Results from a multiple regression analysis revealed that from among factors of practicum settings, major-related attributes, and general attributes of respondents, "satisfaction with majors" and "interpersonal relationships" had a significant effect on satisfaction with practicums. Examining the six components of satisfaction with the course revealed that "practicum program" and "practicum setting" had a significant relationship with overall satisfaction. A selective intervention program to improve satisfaction with the course needs to be developed based on factors influencing overall satisfaction, focusing on "interpersonal relationship" and "satisfaction with majors.

대통령 기록관은 역대 대통령의 역사적 기록물을 다루는 기관으로, 교사와 학생을 대상으로 대통령기록물을 활용한 교육프로그램을 제공해오고 있다. 한편 교육부는 중학생의 교육과정에 자유학기제를 도입했고, 제 7차 교육과정에는 '창의적 체험활동'시간을 운영하고 있다, 이러한 체험활동을 위해 지역기관과 협력할 것을 권장하고 있지만 협조를 구하는 것이 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 대통령기록관과 학교의 연계를 통해 창의적 체험활동시간에 의미 있는 교육을 할 수 있도록 사회과 공통교육과정에 부합하는 대통령기록물을 활용한 체험학습 프로그램을 제안하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 외 기록관의 체험학습의 현황을 분석하고 문제점을 도출하여, 체험활동에 적합한 협동학습모형을 선정하고 구성요소를 추출하여 체험학습 프로그램 모델을 제안하고자 한다.
