This study tends to analyze the organizational factors of major curriculum of education department. For this, the education department's major curriculum of ten universities is analyzed in three levels. Subjects are analyzed for the high level, lesson plans for the middle level, and sub-topics for the low level. This study utilized the learning classified table of the Natioanl Research Foundation of Korea and the In-sil Chang's curriculum scope classified table. The results from the study are following. First, some subjects such as educational philosophy, educational psychology, life-long education take largest portions in the major curriculum of education department. Second. the history, the evaluation, and the definition and the scope of the education curriculum take greatest parts in the subject of education curriculum. It is expected that the findings of the study may provide the opportunities to introspect on the discussion and the organization of the educational directions and goals of education department.
Consumers repeatedly make small sum purchases through business-to-consumer contracts, usually without incident. Consumer areas have been increasing; therefore, consumer disputes have been occurring frequently as well. In international consumer transactions, it is not easy to solve consumer disputes by applying the laws of different countries. Resolving disputes by using the consumer arbitration system can be a measure to protect consumers. In the U.S., a class arbitration is being operated as a mixed dispute resolution system of class action and arbitration. Consumer Arbitration has long been a controversial issue in the U.S. It is therefore a lesson for us to examine related cases. A recent U.S. Supreme Court decision, DIRECTV v. Imburgia, was looked into and after a summary of the facts, issues, and opinions and opposing opinions that had a tight controversy, a close analysis was done. The analysis through this judgment is as follows: first, the contraction of consumer protection; second, the expansion of the Federal Arbitration Act scope; third, the class arbitration's restriction; and fourth, the submission of the arbitration fairness act.

Recently, it has been activated the software education or coding education for the improvement of the Computational Thinking (CT) ability at home and abroad. Also the CT has influence on courses of Computer Science in the college levels. It has been introduced and the number of cases of using it to general K12 education has increased. However, the research on the software education's influence on the CT was still lacking. So In this paper, we proposed this study has been conducted on how Scratch education in the elementary school level influenced the ability of the CT. And we proposed software education can improve the ability of CT. First, we provided the theoretical base of the software education and evaluation process through analysis of computational thinking ability. A core analysis content of the CT is broader than algorithmic thinking and can be achieved without using computer. It includes abstract, algorithmic, logical, and measurable thinking. Second, we made efforts to improve the characteristics of the software education with categorization. Finally, we have managed the software education using Picoboard with Scratch and flowchart within 15 weeks based on these theocratical research. An examination of the effectiveness was committed to understand, analyze, and develop strategies of problem solving. It is designed as a strategy of problem solving before and after the software lesson. The result of the software education has improved authentically in all areas without the need to design a strategy for problem solving.

In defense domain, mission level and engagement level simulation tools exist. In order to experiment a simulation scenario for obtaining results of both mission level and engagement level simulations, we should write a same simulation scenario in a mission level simulation tool as well as an engagement level simulation tool, and we have to operate these tools for analysis of each purpose. Moreover, we could not guarantee that these scenarios are completely same since each scenario is composed of different fidelities of simulation models, although the scenarios are written by a same experimenter and with same simulation purpose. To deal with the difficulties, I propose an approach to analysis of both mission level and engagement level simulations from one simulation result. For this, I have built Composite Combat Mission Planning Simulation Environment (CCMPSE). In this paper, the HLA/RTI based simulation composition technology and my experiences for the designed Composite Combat Mission Planning Simulation Control System (CCMPSCS) are explained. Moreover, This paper also conducts a case study with EADSIM, SADM, and the CCMPSCS. Finally, this paper provides lesson learned from the case study.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to obtain the basic data for quality of life and improve the oral health through relevance of academic stress with academic high school girl temporomandibular joint syndrome. Methods: Data was collected from the students of two academic girl high school in Daegu, using questionnaire. They were the students of the 1st, 2nd grade, in total 311 student. The analysis was made using ${\chi}^2-test$, (one way ANOVA), and Pearson's Correlation, multiple linear regression analysis. These were conducted using spss 14.0 version Results: High school girl had at least one temporomandibular joint syndrome was 70.4%. In subjective of temporomandibular joint syndrome academic stress for grade stress scores were highest 52.3, study stress 35.0 all the depth of a lesson stress 45.5, there was a statistically significant(p<0.001). effect on subjective of temporomandibular joint syndrome influence the bad oral habit(${\beta}=0.325$) were found to have subjective of joint syndrome showed a statistically significant increase in the higher significant positive(p<0.001).

The aim of this study is to understand how English textbooks in Korea and Japan reflect English education policies for improving the English language learners' cultural ability. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the method of analyzing English textbooks was used because English textbooks are an important tool that most specifically reflects the English policy of a country. This study analyzed a total of six English textbooks, three middle school English textbooks currently used in Korea and three in Japan. We analyzed nouns/pronouns related to culture presented in the reading section included in each unit, and compared cultural diversity and cultural identity included in English textbooks in Korea and Japan. As a result, it was found that both countries experienced cultural diversity through English education and introduced their cultural pride to Western culture to realize the goal of strengthening global capabilities. This textbook analysis results show that English textbooks of Korea and Japan depend on American/British cultures and norms. The cultural contents of English textbooks in Korea and Japan tend to focus on geography, food and drink, festivals and activities, family and education systems, etc. And English textbooks in Korea and Japan include the cultural sections in each lesson, but they don't suggest how to relate these cultural sections into the learners' real experiences. These results can be utilized as the motives from which both countries develop English education policy and textbooks in the future.
The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics of AI courseware for mathematics learning based on Choppin et al.'s (2014) digital typology and to derive implications for directions for AI courseware development. For this purpose, 12 types of AI courseware actively used in domestic were selected for analysis, and the characteristics of these AI courseware in terms of program-student interaction, teacher' s lesson design, and evaluation system were analyzed. As a result, each AI courseware provided unique functional features for students, teachers, and evaluation, but the ability to modify and configure teaching and learning was limited. Based on these results, implications for the direction of development of AI courseware in mathematics education were presented.

This paper is focused on the economical efficiency of the geothermal heat pump system in school. As the importance of problems of environment and energy becomes larger, the development and distribution of energy-saving technology in the whole nation has become influential. This paper is intended, targeting on school buildings scattered all over the country, to evaluate the introduction and possibility of a terrestrial heat system which is in the first stage of introduction in the country, through energy consumption and efficiency in case where a terrestrial heat system is introduced. To do that, the author performed a qualitative analysis of the heat pump system using various terrestrial heat energy and the system introduced to existing school buildings and, through the analysis, made tentative evaluation on the most environment-friendly and energy saving type system. Also, the author performed simulation analysis using a currently typical school building standard and, on the basis of this result, conducted efficiency analysis of various heat pump systems. The conclusion according to synthetical analysis & evaluation can be summarized as follows. In case a heat pump system is introduced to a school building, it was deemed the investment in the early stage would increase, but the investment could be collected within 5~6 years through reduction of large operation expenses. Also, it was analyzed in case of terrestrial heat contracted heat mode using midnight electric power among heat pump systems, not only early investment but also operation expenses could be reduced to a great extent. Accordingly in case the system using terrestrial heat energy is applied to the school buildings that are to be newly built or repaired in the future, it will provide an object-lesson to students as well as contributing to energy saving.

To achieve this objective, practical problem-teaching lesson plans and instructor-led teaching and learning plans were developed and integrated into the Technology Home Economics, and Human Development curricula at both academic and vocational high schools. The impact of these plans was examined, as were connections between the teaching methods and types of schools. As part of this study, a survey was conducted on 1,263 students in 46 classes at 6 randomly selected high schools: 4 academic and 2 vocational. A total of 9 teachers conducted classes for both experimental and comparative groups between October 2009 and November 2010. Pre- and post-tests were used to study the impact of the lessons on the experimental and comparative groups. In terms of data analysis and statistics processing, this study implemented mean and standard deviations, t-test, and analysis of covariance using the SPSS 12.0 program. The results of this study are as follows. The practical problem-teaching lessons produced more positive results in the students than the instructor-led lessons, in terms of their image of the elderly, their level of knowledge about them, their understanding of their need for welfare services, and preparation for Successful aging. When comparing the results by type of school, the experimental groups at academic high schools appeared to have a more positive image and better understanding of the elderly and their need for welfare services, and were better prepared for Successful aging than during their previous lessons. They also showed an increase in independence from their children in aging. As for the comparative groups, students at academic high schools showed an increase in preparation for Successful aging compared to the previous lessons. Finally, as for future research on preparation for aging in high schools, more schools should include this subject in their regular curriculum for Technology Home Economics, Human Development and Home Economics in order to generalize the results, and they need to evaluate the content. Additionally, this study suggests that new high school curricula should include lessons on preparation for aging so that students can deal successfully with our aging society.

Students are engaged in classroom learning, and classroom learning occurs not only through conversation but also through nonverbal behavior. In science classrooms especially, there are meaningful nonverbal behaviors such as practical activities like observation and measurement. But these behaviors have not been properly investigated by existing instruments that try to measure students' engagement. This study aims to develop a new instrument for analyzing students' behavioral engagement especially in science classrooms. The method of developing the instrument was structured along three steps. First, student behaviors have been classified into fourteen categories through literature review and a series of observation of elementary science classroom. Second, based on these, a framework for analyzing student behavioral engagement has been developed. With the framework, every student moment could be labeled as Participatory Speech or Participatory Silence or Non-Participatory Speech or Non-Participatory Silence. Third, an instrument to which the framework is applied has been developed by using Microsoft Excel. As a trial, two fourth-grade students in elementary science class were analyzed with this instrument. The results of the trial analysis shows that the longest period of a science lesson was occupied by Participatory Silence (63% and 72%). Among the participatory silence, 'listening' was the most common (51% and 42% of the trial lesson) and 'observing' which is a specific behavior to science was the fourth position (17% and 17% of the trial lesson). It is expected that the developed instrument could be used in improving our understanding of the patterns of student engagement in science classrooms.
