The purpose of this study was to compare the factors affected on the leisure participation leisure satisfaction and leisure effect of the middle-aged with those of the aged who were paticipated in the leisure program of the public community facilities. the sample of he study consisted of 218 midle-aged and 163 the aged living in Seoul and Daegu. Frequencies means ,$x^2$,T-test and multiple regression were employed for the analysis. The results of this study were as follows; The middle-aged had more positive leisure attitude than the gaged less leisure participation and more leisure satisfaction. The factors affected one he leisure participation of the middle-aged were region and fee and those of the aged were region leisure attitude and fee. The factors affected on the leisure satisfaction of the middle-aged were number of the family region and the access of the transportation as compared with those of the aged were sex health status and the access of transportation. And the factors had effects on the leisure effect of the middle-aged were sex educational attainment number of the family the access of transportation and fee comparing with those of the aged were educational attainment and leisure attitude.

The purpose of this study was to examine elderly using behavior and propinquity of neighborhood facilities and to analyze the relationship of propinquity and using behavior of each neighborhood facility. The results of the study indicated that the elderly are using more frequently and living more close to leisure facility such as sports/health facility, hobby/education facility, and entertainment facility. Age and health status of the elderly were the important factors on the use and propinquity of neighborhood facilities. On the other hand, the elderly having higher education and economic status were more likely to use and live close to leisure facilities. For the elderly, the need of physical propinquity to neighborhood facilities and providing information about the facility location were required. For the mid-aged people, the education about leisure culture of the later-hood years were suggested since the use of neighborhood facility is depending on one's habit.

This study investigates the literatures of leisure function and resource of the elderly to consider deeply the meaning of their leisure. In conclusion, this study presents the leisure of the elderly has both of positive and negative functions individually, socially and economically and they have the resources of individual, human and social as the usable resources for leisure but each of resources has disturbing restrictions. On the actual condition of elderly's leisure activity, they enjoy negatively like a watching TV and the using rate of leisure facilities is lower than other age groups.

As the living standard of citizens are improving and the demand for the quality of life is increasing, the demand for the facilities of welfare and convenience for varied ages rises. Besides, our residential environment is faced with the need for changing into the environment of integrated function of living, which holds health, leisure, culture, education, welfare, etc. Considering the present reality requiring the augment of welfare facilities due to our aging society, community integrated facilities are needed, which can contain welfare service for home-living citizens within residential circle and can accept diverse needs of residents. Accordingly, the study began in order to suggest a better direction for community integrated facilities' plan that considers all age brackets for aging society. The study is to figure out way of thinking what community space of 3 age cluster middle-age in the 30s~40s, preparatory senior citizen in the 50s and old age brackets in the 60s~70s. As methods for attaining the aim of this study, surveys of documents and questionnaire survey were simultaneously used. The result of the study, investigating the importance of a community among the members in the residential complex, showed that all the age groups have highly perceived its importance. All the age groups responded that leisure are important to the elderly. It indicates that importance of their social relations are within the residential environment and it proves that there is lack of facilities for leisure activities of residents in apartment house.

본 연구는 해양레저시설의 기반을 조사하고 디자인개발과 동남권역의 특성화를 위한 해양레저제품 카테고리를 체계적으로 분석하여 해양산업 발전에 미래상을 연구하였다. 국민소득이 2만 불 시대엔 마이카시대라 하고 3만 불이면 마이보트시대라 한다. 영국에 본부를 둔 마린 사우스이스트(Marine SouthEast)의 보고에 의하면 2010년 세계 소형보트와 개인용 수상장비의 규모가 277조원에 이르고 국내시장 규모도 11조원을 예상하고 있다. 해양레저시설은 국가의 전략, 핵심 산업으로 육성해야하는 신 성장 동력산업이며, 정부는 해양레저장비산업 활성화 방안(2009년 6월, 지식경제부), 해양레저 활성화방안(2010년7월, 국토해양부), 제1차 마리나 항만 기본계획(2010년1월, 국토해양부) 등을 발표하여 해양산업육성에 적극 추진하고 있다. 해양디자인은 바다를 중심으로 이루어지는 모든 해양활동에 디자인요소를 기능적, 예술적, 산업적, 문화적 발전을 통해 국가적 위치와 인간 삶의 질적 가치를 추구하는데 있다. 또한 해양과 연안에서 이루어지는 모든 활동과 연관된 것으로 물을 중심으로 한 특수한 조건을 포함하고 있는 디자인 영역이다. 3면이 바다인 조건이 국민의 질적 수준의 발전으로 국가 전략 방향이 산업과 문화융합과 지역의 특성화와 유망산업으로서 2010년대에 선진화된 해양강국으로서의 위상을 높이는데 현재 우리의 가치기반이 되는 해양레저시설의 실태조사를 중심으로 지역별 현황 보유장비, 시설유형, 운영현황과 해양레저시설 이용객의의 부문별 이용현황, 해양레저 제품의 향후 전망 등을 체계적으로 분석하였다. 특히 동남권 해양레저 제품별 실태조사를 통하여 유망한 해양레저제품 개발 시 디자인역할과 프로세스를 제시하여 시장성과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 전략기반을 예측하게 될 것이다.

The park in city, is more than just ecological function, contributes emotional refinement and psychological stability to citizens, and give satisfaction of social and recreational activities to the citizens. And it is the place of leisure and the place to raise up the quality of urban environment. Especially, the neighborhood park among urban parks occupies the most important position as a leisure space for local resident, but it can not perform its purpose and function as a leisure space, due to its too formal and insufficient facilities. This study, approaching from point of physical method, intends to make types through classifying each parks by built-type and installed facilities which affect human-beings, approaching from point of human-beings, intends to make the using-type analysis of park-users, and the questionnaire.By grasping of their requirements regarding to the characters and facilities what they want, willing to present the fundamental data for effective utility-activating method of small-scaled neighborhood park.

Recently, the number of facilities and users of zipline which is the most popular among extreme leisure facilities has been increasing year by year. Zipline is a means of transporting durable wire between two timber or stay and moving the trolley connected to the passenger at high speed in the opposite direction. However, due to the nature of the zip line facility, the risk of accidents is always present and safety accidents are frequently occurring. Therefore, this study investigates the current state of safety management and extract the problem in terms of safety management through analyzing the installation state of zipline facilities in the case of accidents and reviewing of similar facility regulations. In order to solve this problem, we will contribute to establishment of comprehensive and systematic countermeasures and establishment of safety improvement system by suggesting measures to improve safety management through analyzing foreign regulations and safety management regulations for zipline and other extreme leisure facilities.

Although the government financial aid is insufficient and the lack of programs and facilities prevent it from developing and activation in the rural local society, welfare centers for the aged are formed an ever-greater part of the leisure and welfare facility for the aged in rural areas. As a result, the objectives of this study are to investigate and identify the actual conditions of use by the aged and the degree of satisfaction for welfare centers for the aged in Uiseong district. The results of this study are as follows. In the survey sample characteristics based on a total of 303 survey, the percentage of women (55.2%) was much higher than men (44.8%), average age is 73.3 years old. According to the results of the analysis, most important motivation is for health and making friends, and major useful facilities and programs are related to physical activities, sing a song and rehabilitation. From the results of the overall satisfaction, positive promotions and sufficient aid are required for the aged in the rural local society. Further any programs developed internally are required to promote and activate the leisure activity programs for the aged.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the Characteristics of Flexible housing Unit Plan Choice. It is believed that Flexible Housing relates to Family life cycle and the number of family. But this study revealed another factor, Space Syntax. It is reviewed that the Space Syntax effectively reveals the relative spatial depth of the spatial elements composing flexible housing unit plan. Thus, the Space Syntax is adopted as an analytic method of this study to objectify the concrete spatial changes. Through this study, the spatial organization of each case before changing is compared wi th that after changing, to find out the spatial changes over variation, Based on this theory, this study provide basic data to be used for architectural planning for flexible design. To design common facilities that support residents' leisure activities is one of the contemporary issues in Korea. People became interested in the leisure facilities in near-home environments. This trend encouraged this research study. The objectives of this study are to analyze the current status and characteristics of leisure facilities in apartment communities, to examine the correlations among leisure facilities, and to suggest design considerations for korean multi-family housing communities.

The propose of this study is to grasp actual status and needs of leisure of middle age. The questionnaire survey is used, the subjects are middle age from 40${\sim}$50's living in big city. The questionnaire consists of leisure, leisure actual condition, leisure satisfaction and need. Frequency, percent, average, x2-test, t-test and ANOVA are used for data analysis. The results of this study are as following; First, leisure is necessary to elevate Quality of life in terms of spiritual , psychological stability and physical health. Second, subjects have more leisure time in weekend the characteristics of leisure time are scattered in woman. Third, in the future the subjects wish to have leisure with family. Therefore, it is necessary to develop leisure program and facilities to promote family leisure. Fourth, the subjects are not satisfied with current leisure for unsufficiency of leisure time, cost, facility and program. Fifth, present leisure behavior characteristics are restrictive and passive. In the near future, however, they showed desire to engage in divers forms of leisure including active and participant leisure.
