Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to identify Six Sigma success factors and analyse the effects of Six Sigma success factors and innovation capability on innovation performance. Methods: The study build a research framework which include the variables of Six Sigma success factors, innovation capability, and innovation performance. A sample of 127 survey questionnaires is taken to test the proposal theoretical model through structural equations modeling using AMOS 20.0. Results: This study proves that there are the positive relationship between Six Sigma success factors, innovation capability, and innovation performance. It also confirms that there are the partial mediating effects of innovation capability between Six Sigma success factors and innovation performance. Conclusion: There are various factors affecting innovation performance of firms. This study provide the mechanism transformed from Sig Sigma to innovation performance.

Using the Countably way below relation, we show that the category $\sigma$-CFrm of $\sigma$-coherent frames and $\sigma$-coherent homomorphisms is coreflective n the category Frm of frames and frame homomorphisms. Introducting the concept of stably countably approximating frames which are exactly retracts of $\sigma$-coherent frames, it is shown that the category SCAFrm of stably countably approximating frames and $\sigma$-proper frame homomorphisms is coreflective in Frm. Finally we introduce strongly Lindelof frames and show that they are precisely lax retracts of $\sigma$-coherent frames.

Six Sigma uses DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology as the process of a solving problem. Enterprises already propelling Six Sigma successfully, such as Motorola, GE and consulting companies, also traditionally propose DMAIC methodology. But, from activating Six Sigma, enterprises and Six Sigma-consulting companies propose Six Sigma methodology matching indirection part of office and R&D part. As an example, DFSS (Design For Six Sigma) is part of R&D application in GE. This study investigates Six Sigma methodology corresponding to the Right Process of the kernel factor. Especially for the optimum design of R&D, the study revises the definition of DFSS and the general organization through Lean DFSS methodology research and analysis.

Let ${\sigma}(X,x_0,G)$ be the fundamental group of a transformation group (X,G). Let $R({\varphi},{\psi})$) be the generalized Reidemeister number for an endomorphism $({\varphi},{\psi}):(X,G){\rightarrow}(X,G)$. In this paper, our main results are as follows ; we prove some sufficient conditions for $R({\varphi},{\psi})$ to be the cardinality of $Coker(1-({\varphi},{\psi})_{\bar{\sigma}})$, where 1 is the identity isomorphism and $({\varphi},{\psi})_{\bar{\sigma}}$ is the endomorphism of ${\bar{\sigma}}(X,x_0,G)$, the quotient group of ${\sigma}(X,x_0,G)$ by the commutator subgroup $C({\sigma}(X,x_0,G))$, induced by (${\varphi},{\psi}$). In particular, we prove $R({\varphi},{\psi})={\mid}Coker(1-({\varphi},{\psi})_{\bar{\sigma}}){\mid}$, provided that (${\varphi},{\psi}$) is eventually commutative.

Six Sigma is one of the most active subjects in quality management. This study deals with some existing weaknesses that may arise in implementing Six Sigma in real world situations. The main weaknesses discussed here include the lack of understanding of cultural aspects on the nations and industries, the poor linkage between quality, finance and accounting from the bottom line point of view, and the difficult development process of metrics for all improvement results to validate the effect of Six Sigma. Finally, the key success characteristics for a good Six Sigma project are presented.

$\sigma$-VFe 금속간화합물에 대한 기계적 합금화(MA) 효과를 중성자 및 X선 회절법으로 조사하였다. MA 분말의 구조분석은 X선 회절(Cu-K$\alpha$) 린 중성자회절(HRPD, λ=1.835$\AA$)을 이용하여 행하였다. $\sigma$-VFe화합물의 MA시 큰 구조변화가 관찰되었으며, MA 60시간의 경우 Fe-Fe 훤자분포는 unit cell에 30개의 원자를 포함하고 있는 $\sigma$상의 tetragonal구조에서 $120^{\circ}C$이상에서 안정하게 존재하는 $\alpha$-(V,Fe) 고용체의 bcc 구조로 상변화함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 $\alpha$-VFe 화합물에 대한 중성자 및 X선 회절패턴의 비교분석을 행하였으며 그 결과 $\sigma$상이 가지는 화학적 규칙성에 기인하는 (101)과 (111) 회절 피크가 중성자 회절에서 뚜렷하게 관찰됨을 알 수 있었다.

It is generally thought that the quality management and the six-sigma management innovation are not applicable to service industry, which might be derived from some differences between service and manufacturing industries. However, both are substantially alike in some intrinsic attributes. KT is leading the quality management and the six-sigma innovation activities in service industry, especially among telecommunication companies in Korea. Six sigma management innovation has been fostered in KT within short period of time and played an important role in helping KT privatized successfully. The successful cases of six sigma innovation activities in KT could be introduced to other Korean companies in service industry. Five key factors for the success of six-sigma innovation activities are suggested, The hidden factory in all the fields of company should be eliminated. Six-sigma projects need to be connected with the company strategy. The project should be carried out intensively in a short time. The innovation activities in the field need to be integrated. The best practice of six-sigma should be disseminated in the field.

A challenge phage system was used to study the DNA-protein interaction between C4-dicarboxylic acid transport protein D(DCTD) or $\sigma$54, and a $\sigma$54 -dependent promoter, dctAp. R. meliloti dctA promoter regulatory region replaced the Omnt site on the phage. S. typhimurium strains overproducing either DCTD or $\sigma$54 directed this challenge phage towards lysogency, indicating that DCTD or E$\sigma$54 recognized the dctA promoter on the phage and repressed transcription of the ant gene. These challenge phage constructs will be useful for examining interactions between DCTD(or $\sigma$54) and the dctA promoter region.
