본 연구의 목적은 여성의 경제활동참가율과 가족정책변수, 양성평등가치변수가 출산율에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 1990년부터 2019년까지 30년 간 OECD회원국의 출산율 자료와 UNDP 자료, World Value Survey 자료를 시계열로 결합한 패널데이터를 분석하였다. 종속변수인 출산율에 영향을 미치는 독립변수는 1단계에서 여성의 경제활동참가율과 통제변수를 투입하였고, 가족정책변수, 양성 평등가치변수 순으로 변수를 추가하면서 각 변수들의 변화를 비교하였다. 주요 분석 결과 첫째, 여성의 경제활동참가율은 각 모형에서 출산율에 양의 영향을 보였다. 즉, 여성의 경제활동참가로 인해 출산율이 감소되는 현상이 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 가족정책변수인 부성 출산휴가기간이 출산율에 정적 영향을, 모성 출산휴가기간이 부적 영향을 미치는 상반된 효과를 보였다. 셋째, 양성평등가치변수인 성불평등지수가 높은 국가에서 출산율이 높았다. 또한 성평등 가치 수준이 높은 국가일수록 출산율이 낮았으며, 성평등 가치관을 3개 하위지표로 분리하여 분석했을 때 대학교육의 중요성에 양성 평등한 가치를 보일수록 출산율이 낮았다. 여성의 경제활동참가율이 출산율에 정적 영향을 미친 결과는 경제활동이 저출산의 원인이 아니며, 경제활동참여와 출산율이 동시에 상승할 수 있음을 보여준다. 또한 남녀의 출산휴가와 같은 정책적 지원, 그리고 남녀의 성평등 가치가 출산율을 조절할 수 있는 요인임이 확인되었다. 따라서 출산율은 가족의 시간, 소득 등 자원에 대한 배분과 관리, 자녀양육분담의 차원에서 이루어지는 의사결정이나 이를 지원하는 가족정책과 성평등 가치가 통용되는 사회적 기반 위에서 제고될 수 있을 것이다.

In this paper, we present a new automatic thresholding algorithm based on maximum entropy of two-dimensional pixel histogram. While most of the previous algorithms select thresholds depending only on the histogram of gray level itself in the image, the presented algorithm considers 2D relational histogram of gray levels of two adjacent pixels in the image. Thus, the new algorithm tends to leave salient edge features on the image after thresholding. The experimental results show the good performance of the presented algorithm.

The smoothing parameter $\lambda$ in smoothing spline regression is usually selected by minimizing cross-validation (CV) or generalized cross-validation (GCV). But, simple CV or GCV is poor candidate for estimating prediction error. We defined MGCV (Multifold Generalized Cross-validation) as a criterion for selecting smoothing parameter in smoothing spline regression. This is a version of cross-validation using $leave-\kappa-out$ method. Some numerical results comparing MGCV and GCV are done.

Multiple regression and stepwise logistic regression was conducted to examine the relationships of work conditions, individual characteristics, and burnout (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal fulfillment). Subjects were 144 early childhood educators. Teachers most likely to leave the profession were more educated, has less teaching experience and reported higher levels of burnout (i.e. high emotional exhaustion and lower personal fulfillment). Turnover was also predicted by high depersonalization, lower personal fulfillment, working overtime, and perceived choice of other jobs. Implications of these results for early childhood programs were discussed.

Since 1997, when a new educational system that encourages faculties instead of departments in universities is first introduced, students have much more chance to choose and leave their majors than before. As a result, colleges of basic arts and sciences confront with a serious problem since lots of students have left their majors at the colleges. In this paper, we analyze and provide a predictive model for those students in a university using decision trees.

For a given gauge invariant state $\omega$ on the CAR algebra A isomorphic with the C$\ast$ -algebra of $2{\times}2$ complex matrices, we construct a family of quantum Markov semigroups on A which leave w invariant. By analyzing their generators, we decompose the algebra A into four eigenspaces of the semigroups and show some properties.

Performance specifications leave out unnesessary “how to” or detail and give the manufacturer latitude to determine how to best meet our stated needs. This will increase MND's access to commercial, state-of-the-art technology. However, we find that it is too early to expand the use of performance specification due to the poor domestic infrastructure. To expand the use of performance specification in defense area, this paper suggests the basic principles about which items we should select and which procedeure we should follow.

This paper considers the unconstrained global optimization with the revised filled function methods. The minimization sequence could leave from a local minimizer to a better minimizer of the objective function through minimizing an auxiliary function constructed at the local minimizer. Some promising numerical results are also included.

An audit tracer is one of the last ways to defend an attack for network equipments. Firewall and IDS which block off an attack in advance are active way and audit tracing is passive way which analogizes a type and a situation of an attack from log after an attack. This paper explains importance of audit trace function in network equipment for security and defines events which we must leave by security audit log. We design and implement security audit system for secure router. This paper explains the reason why we separate general audit log and security audit log.

본 연구는 1992 Health and Retirement Survey(HRS' the Beta Release)를 사용하여 유산상속 결정에 미치는 영향요인을 분석하였다 조사를 위해 사용된 표본은 55세이상의 노 인 2,208명이었으며 표본 특성을 파악하기 위해 평균과 빈도를 분석하였고 유산상속 결정에 미치는 영향요인을 조사하기 위해 Probit 분석을 수행하였다 분석결과 주택지분액이 클수록 저축.CD.채권.주식보유액이 많은 노인일수록 유산상속을 할가능성이 높게나타났다 또한 교육수준이 높거나 백인 노인의 경우는 교육수준이 낮거나 백인이 아닌 경우보다 유산상속 을 할 가능성이 높았다 반면 건강상태가 나쁘거나 자녀수가 많은 노인은 유산상속을 할 가 능성이 낮게 나타났다.
