스마트 배움터 시스템 설계에 관한 연구 (Eliciting and Analyzing Requirements for Smart Environment for Future-Oriented Learning and Coaching)

  • In education, innovative ways of teaching and learning are always under development and keep being proposed with advanced concepts since the ancient times. Student-centered learning, problem-based learning and cooperative learning have been three major trends under development in secondary education research and practice more than a decade or so. Combined with advanced information and communication technologies, these trends will greatly transform the way we teach and learn in classroom environment and may change the classroom environment itself, into a more interactive and self-centered coaching type environment. In this study, a smart environment that utilizes advanced information technology devices and network is conceptualized, accommodating requirements contained and proposed in the recent trendy pedagogies. Pedagogical cases discussed in these trends are analyzed in detail, producing requirements for such a learning and coaching environment. These requirements are modeled using unified modeling language, leading to a proposal of a basic architecture for an information system supporting this environment.

여성 학습자의 특성에 따른 인터넷교육 프로그램 만족도와 학업성취도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Satisfaction and Achievement of Learning by Female Learner's Characteristics in Internet Education Program)

  • The purposes of the study were to identify satisfaction and achievement of learning by female learner's characteristics, and to suggest measures to improve quality of education in internet education programs. In order to determine the educational effectiveness associated with the characteristics of learners, this study attempted to employ two way approaches by observing the degree of achievement for learning, which represents an instructor-oriented approach, and the degree of satisfaction for education, which represents a learner-oriented approach to enhance the quality of internet education for female learners. As an approach to evaluate the educational effectiveness, the degree of achievement in learning(Tyler's classical approach), and the degree of satisfaction for education (Scriven's consumer-oriented evaluation model) were utilized. A survey form was developed by the researcher after reviewing the various tools originated from Boshier, Cross, Gagne and Choi, and distributed to a panel of judges that examined the content validity of the instrument. The sample for the study consisted of 160 female learners from three universities in Seoul and capital area, and the survey form was used to collect data for this study. The SPSS WIN program was used in analyzing the data and a series of statistical tests were conducted including frequency, percentile, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, multiple regression, and factor analysis. The statistical significance level was 0.05. The following conclusion were drawn from this study of female internet education. First, it was evident that female internet learners tend to utilize information from internet, and this can be interpreted as participants' positive attitude, and voluntary participation. Second, educational facilities and services should be improved in the future, because the level of satisfaction was low in these areas compared to curriculum and educational methodology. Third, the participating factors influenced by the level of satisfaction for education of learner characteristics were the 'formation of inter-personal relationship and willingness to change' and the 'needs for education on internet', thus appeared that both social and educational needs influenced the level of satisfaction for education. Fourth, the degree of achievement in learning was higher in the order of 1) attitude 2) function 3) knowledge, thus, attitude change was the most important in achievement of learning. Fifth, the individual background that influenced the level of achievement in learning were age and educational experience. As for the individual level of achievement for learning, the younger and more educated group were more satisfied.

  • 본 연구는 융합수업 운영이 사회맞춤형 교육과정 간호학생의 자기주도적 학습능력, 문제해결능력, 전공만족도 및 취업률에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 단일군 전후 비교연구로, C대학의 교육과정을 수강한 간호학과 졸업 학생 79명을 대상으로 하였다. 융합수업 적용 전보다 적용 후 자기주도적 학습능력, 문제해결능력 및 전공만족도는 향상되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 지역사회 요구에 맞는 간호대학 내 다양한 교육과정을 개설 운영하여 학생들에게 다양한 기회를 제공하고, 그 효과를 극대화하기 위해 학습자 스스로 문제를 해결하고 답안을 찾을 수 있는 능력을 함양시키는 것과 대학 내 다양한 컨텐츠를 개발하여 효율적으로 운영하도록 하는 것이 필요하다.

외연적 객체모델의 정형화 (A Formal Presentation of the Extensional Object Model)

  • We present an overview of the Extensional Object Model (ExOM) and describe in detail the learning and classification components which integrate concepts from machine learning and object-oriented databases. The ExOM emphasizes flexibility in information acquisition, learning, and classification which are useful to support tasks such as diagnosis, planning, design, and database mining. As a vehicle to integrate machine learning and databases, the ExOM supports a broad range of learning and classification methods and integrates the learning and classification components with traditional database functions. To ensure the integrity of ExOM databases, a subsumption testing rule is developed that encompasses categories defined by type expressions as well as concept definitions generated by machine learning algorithms. A prototype of the learning and classification components of the ExOM is implemented in Smalltalk/V Windows.

  • National curriculum for environmental education recommends various teaching-learning methods including survey and discussion of environmental problems, investigation of case studies, experiments, role play, and field-experience learning in addition to the traditional lecture-oriented teaching methods. The field experience learning in environmental education is considered to be a good method to develop environmentally sound attitude and to cultivate environmental sensitivity, but here has been very limited research concerning models for field-experience learning. The aim of this study is to develop a model of the field-experience learning program of environmental education utilizing environmental facilities. In this study a kind of such a basic model was developed and presented. The developed basic model of the field-experience learning was applied to the case utilizing landfill facilities. A specific application of the landfill program to the Bangcheon-ri landfill, in Daegu, was also presented with related teaching materials developed in this studies. And various aspects in the program was discussed.

확장개체모델에서의 학습과 계층파악 (Learning and Classification in the Extensional Object Model)

  • Quiet often, an organization tries to grapple with inconsistent and partial information to generate relevant information to support decision making and action. As such, an organization scans the environment interprets scanned data, executes actions, and learns from feedback of actions, which boils down to computational interpretations and learning in terms of machine learning, statistics, and database. The ExOM proposed in this paper is geared to facilitate such knowledge discovery found in large databases in a most flexible manner. It supports a broad range of learning and classification styles and integrates them with traditional database functions. The learning and classification components of the ExOM are tightly integrated so that learning and classification of objects is less burdensome to ordinary users. A brief sketch of a strategy as to the expressiveness of terminological language is followed by a description of prototype implementation of the learning and classification components of the ExOM.

이용자 중심의 기록정보 활용 및 서비스 활성화에 관한 연구 (Strategies for Improving User-Oriented Information Services at Archives)

  • 기록정보의 관리와 보존은 활용을 전제로 행해질 때 그 의미와 가치가 살아난다. 따라서 기록관들은 기록정보의 활용을 보다 극대화하기 위하여 기록정보의 검색 및 열람이라는 단순 서비스를 탈피하여 이용자 중심의 보다 적극적 기록정보서비스를 제공하기 위한 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 노력을 활발히 하고 있는 각국의 국립기록관의 기록정보서비스를 유형별로 즉 1) 교육자와 학생을 위한 학습지원서비스, 2) 연구자를 위한 연구지원서비스, 3) 일반 이용자를 위한 특정주제서비스를 중심으로 하여 각각의 서비스 내용을 심층 비교 분석하였다. 마지막으로 각국의 서비스 현황 분석을 기반으로 우리나라 국가기록원을 비롯한 기록관에서 기록정보 활용을 활성화하기 위하여 제공되어야 할 기록정보서비스 방안을 제시하였다. 이러한 연구는 궁극적으로 기록관별 기록정보 이용 활성화 계획을 수립하는데 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

수학적 탐구학습이 넓이공식의 학습에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Inquiry Oriented Instruction on the Learning of A rea Formulas)

  • 수학적 탐구 학습은 학생들로 하여금 흥미로운 문제를 적극적으로 탐구함으로써 수학적 내용을 학습할 수 있고 탐구하는 과정에서 창의성이 계발될 수도 있다. 탐구 활동이 창의성을 개발시킬 수 있다는 점은, 학생들이 어떤 완성된 형태로서 수학을 암기하고 수학문제를 해결하는 것이 아니라, 수학 과제를 탐구하는 과정에서 창의적인 아이디어가 산출될 수 있다는 것이다. 이러한 점에서 수학 학습 활동에 있어서 수학적 탐구의 과정이 반드시 필요하다고 본다. 평행사변형의 넓이 공식을 도입할 때, 탐구의 과정으로 지도한다는 의미는 직사각형의 넓이 공식을 이미 알고 있기 때문에 평행사변형을 직사각형으로 어떻게 만들 것인가 하는 탐구의 과정을 반드시 거쳐야 한다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 탐구 학습을 통한 넓이의 지도가 넓이에 관한 수학성취도에 어떤 효과를 미치는지를 알아 보고 넓이 공식의 기억과 유도 과정에 영향을 주는지를 실험연구를 통하여 분석하였다.

기업 내 e-learning 학습 환경에서 학습양식, 튜터기능, 학습성취도의 상관관계 (Interrelation among Learning Style, Tutoring Function, and Learning Achievement in an Enterprise e-learning Environment)

  • It is believed that each learner has a preferred method to acquire and manage knowledge according to her/his learning style which influences learning achievement directly. The purpose of this paper is to statistically analyze relationships among individual learning styles, tutoring functions, and learning achievement in an e-learning environment. 524 survey results from participants of enterprise e-learning classes are classified into total group and superior group. T-Test and ANOVA analyses are carried between learning style and learning achievement and between learning style and preferred tutoring functions. The analysis results show that individual learning styles do not contribute to learning achievement while they are strongly related to preferences for some of tutoring functions. These results can be used to identify limitation of current e-learning practice and design better e-learning systems, especially, supporting appropriate tutoring functions for different types of learners.

서비스 기업의 고객지향적 품질분임조 활동이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Customer-Oriented Quality Circle Activities on Business Performance for Service Firms)

  • Purpose: The paper analyzes empirically the causal relationship between customer-oriented Quality circle activities and Business Performance for Korean service firms. We compare the operational characteristic behavior of the service firms and business performance. Methods: In this study, we used 3 variables, QC activities, Employee commitment and business performance. Especially, Service SME's QC Circle activities were analyzed in related with growth of company on the basis activities such as Leadership(team), improvement activity, Organizational learning, customer-focus activity and employee suggestion. Results: The result of analysis showed that employee commitment affected significantly on financial performance and non-financial performance and in turn, improvement activities, Organizational learning and customer-focus activity affected significantly on business performance (financial and non-financial). Conclusion: In the summary of the characteristics of this study based on the research results, first, segmenting the QCC activities in the service business into 5 elements can be considered to be differentiated from the existing researches in the aspect of utilizing the organization's objective-oriented variables differently from the researches utilized the variables related personal characteristics. Second, this study suggested the recent research results that suggested the problems of the QCC clearly, through which what new QC story approach was suggested has working level value in the aspect of activating the service QCC.
