A Study on Annoyance of Interior Noise on Town-Bus

  • In these days, the size of urban is growing and the function of city becomes complicated. And also, in city, people lives a lot. The life of urban is getting closer and linked with neighboring people in many parts. Especially, when peoples are exposing during using public transportation, even though does not be known, in they were living. Seoul is the most crowded place in Korea. In Seoul,The village buses have been serviced to the narrow streets. And people who use this bus, wants to seek the comfort of the ride, air quality and noise during in vehicle. In this paper, we determine the degree of annoyance with the noise inside the town bus in dB scale. And, such a situation was confirmed annoyance see their effect. The Interior noise did not see a big difference in the new car and the old car. Annoyance but also according to the skill of the bus driver remains the difference was confirmed.

Child-Parent Attachment and Social Competence (아동의 부모에 대한 애착과 사회적 능력과의 관계)

  • Sixty-three children aged 5 and 6 years and their mothers and teachers participated in this study examining the association between attachment and social competence. The quality of attachment was assessed using Separation Anxiety Test developed by Slough and Greenberg. Mothers and teachers completed questionnaires regarding family background and social competence(Iowa Social Competence Scale:Preschool), Consistent with attachment theory and previous research, there were significant relationships between children's attachment quality and their social competence. Attachment scores were positively associated with Social Competence and Leadership scores and negatively with Apprehension and Hypersensitivity scores. In contrast, Avoidance scores were negatively correlated with Social Competence and Leadership scores and positively with Hypersensitivity scores.

A Comparative Study on the Characteristics of Male Innovators and Opinion Leaders Across Product Categories (다 상품군에서의 남성 혁신자와 의견선도자의 특성 비교)

  • The main purpose of this study was to compare the characteristics of male innovators and of male opinion leaders across product categories in terms of personality, attitudes, social participation, media usage patterns and demographic aspects. Six product categories such as clothing, cosmetics, small electronic appliances, medium-large electronic appliances, interior supplies and sports-leisure goods was used. A valid and reliable self-report scale was used to measure innovativeness and opinion leadership for 423 male adults living in social area Analyses showed that venturesomeness is the most common characteristics between innovators and opinion leaders across product categories. Innovators showed higher tendency of narcissism while opinion leadership showed higher cosmopolitainsm. Common charateristics of innovators and of opininion leaders of both clothing and cosmetics are cosmopolitanism, narcissism, exhibitionism, venturesomeness. The degrees of social participation and media usage patterns were different according to product categories for both innovators and opinion leaders. The implications of these findings for diffusion theory and merchandising were discussed.

Development of Nursing Competence Scale for Graduating Nursing Students (졸업을 앞둔 간호학생의 핵심간호역량 측정도구 개발)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop a nursing competence scale for soon to be graduate nursing students and to verify its validity and reliability. Methods: This study is a methodological study for development of a scale. Based on literature review and group discussion of 13 professional experts, 40 preliminary items were developed and the content validity was verified. Psychometric testing was performed and data were collected from 141 soon to be graduate nursing students of a university. Construct validity was verified by factor analysis and reliability was calculated. Results: The analyses resulted in a scale named the Nursing Competence Scale for Graduating Nursing Students (NCS-GNS), consisting of 30 items covering eight categories: nursing professionalism, integrated nursing through critical thinking, communication skills, nursing leadership, respect for life, stress management, nursing research, and core nursing skills. For the entire scale, the explained variance was 66.72% and Cronbach's alpha was 0.906. Conclusion: NCS-GNS was developed and its validity and reliability were verified. This scale can be used to evaluate nursing competence for graduating nursing students.

A Measurement Scale Development of Nursing Competence for Nurses Working in General Wards (일반병동 간호사의 간호역량평가 도구 개발)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a measurement scale of nursing competence for nurses working in general wards, and to test the validity and reliability of the scale. Method: A methodological study design was used, consisting of 3 steps as conceptual framework decision, measurement items development, and testing of validity and reliability. In order to verify content validity, 16 experts reviewed the concept of each competences and measurement items. The developed measurement items were tested from 301 nurses in one hospital. Factor analysis and item analysis were applied to establish the scale's construct validity and reliability. Result: The final scale consists of nine dimensions with 70 items. The overall scale reliability had a Cronbach's alpha of 0.98, and the demensions Cronbach's alpha ranged from 0.88 to 0.95. The factor loading of construct validity was from 0.40 to 0.83. The explained variance from the 9 extracted factors was 70.93% of the total variance, and final factors were labeled as critical thinking, resources management and professional development, ability of ward management, application of nursing process, ethical accountability, respectful consideration, patient centered approach, crisis management, and leadership. Conclusion: This measurement scale can be utilized to evaluate nursing competence for nurses working in general wards.

Validity and Reliability of a Service Orientation Scale for Health Care Organization (의료기관의 서비스지향성 측정도구의 신뢰도와 타당도 평가)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this research was to develop and test the validity and reliability of the Service Orientation Scale for Health Care Organization. Methods: The Service Orientation Scale for Health Care Organization, $SERV^*OR$, was developed through forward-backward translation methods. Internal consistency and reliability, construct and criterion validity were calculated using SPSS Statistics WIN 17.0. Survey data were collected from 283 clinical nurses in a general hospital in J province. Results: The Service Orientation Scale for Health Care Organization showed reliable internal consistency with Cronbach's ${\alpha}$'s for the total scale ranging from .85~.91. Factor loading of the 30 items on four sub-scales ranged from .67~.83. The sub scales were named service leadership, service system, customer focus, and service control. Item convergent and discriminant validity were also established for the Service Orientation Scale for Health Care Organization. Criterion validity showed a significant correlation with customer orientation. Conclusion: The findings of the study demonstrate that the Service Orientation Scale for Health Care Organization has satisfactory construct and criterion validity, and reliability and can be used to measure service orientation.

The Influence of Insecure Adult Attachment on Stress Coping Strategies Through Emotional Clarity of University Students (대학생의 불안정 성인애착이 정서인식명확성을 매개로 스트레스 대처전략에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was aim to explore the mediating effect of emotional clarity in the relation between insecure adult attachment and stress coping strategies of university students. 420 university students in Seoul and Gyeonggi area participated in the survey which was composed of adult attachment scale, emotional clarity scale, and stress coping strategies scale, and total 401 data (182 men and 219 women) were used in the analysis. This study has a significance in that it showed the need of intervention on emotional clarity by discovering psychological processes when people who have strong insecure adult attachment tendency cope with stress situations. That is, the emotion coaching will be more effective when emotional clarity is dealt with together as well as stress coping strategies.

Teacher-Child Relations : Interactions with Children's Peer-Competence and Self-Regulation (교사-유아의 관계와 유아의 또래유능성 및 자기조절능력 간의 관계연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the teacher-child relationship as it is self-conceived by teachers in regards to children's peer-competence and self-regulation and to also examine how the teacher-child relationship affects peer-competence and self-regulation. 17 teachers were surveyed using the Student-Teacher Relationship Scale, Peer-Competence Scale and Self-Regulation Scale in regard to approximately 270 children (aged 4-5 years old). Our results indicated that the pro-sociality, sociality, and leadership qualities of child peer-competence correlated positively with the friendliness of teacher-child relationships but correlated negatively in cases of conflicts within the teacher-child relationship. The factors of self-appraisal, self-determination and behavior inhibition of child self-regulation were found to be positively related with the friendliness of teacher-child relation but related negatively with presence of the conflict within the teacher-child relationship. It was also found that sociable and self-determinative children tended to be on more friendly terms with teachers.

Analysis of The Main Causes of The Effect of The Job Satisfaction to The System Absorption of The Childcare Teachers (보육교사 직무만족이 조직몰입에 미치는 영향요인 분석)

  • This study has examined how the childcare teachers have been evaluating themselves on system absorption who have been working in the house of the children at the time when the sight of the society has been expanding to the house of the children through the spread of the understanding of the importance of the role and the strengthening of the leadership of the diverse types of the leadership of the childcare teachers in the house of the children, and also this study has observed the main causes affecting such situations. This study has also analyzed the main causes such as the cause of self understanding on job satisfaction of the children's house teachers, the cause of self understanding on the leadership of the principal, demographic characters, and characters related with the place of work affecting the system absorption(Emotional Absorption, Normative absorption, and lasting absorption) with the children's house teachers as the objects working in the area of the City of Seoul. The results of the analysis have showed that job satisfaction, individual consideration, intellectual stimulation, giving motive, age, schooling, type and scale of facility, grade and others have been appeared to have been significantly affecting the self evaluation on system absorption demographically. In other words, the child care teachers have had higher degree of reaction to the system absorption in affirmative direction when they come into contact with the leadership of the principal in raising the intellectual stimulation, providing the motivation, and giving consideration individually, and when they have higher evaluation on the job satisfaction they them selves understand. Based on such results the principal of the house of the children should spread the leadership for the careful operation of the house of the children for the teachers more positively, and what has been required was giving and developing the diverse operation service for the elevation of the job satisfaction of the childcare teachers.

The Relationship among Basic Vocational Competencies, Teaching Personality·Aptitude, and Behavior Type of Preschool Teachers (예비보육교사의 직업기초능력, 교직 인·적성, 행동유형 간의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship among NCS basic vocational competencies, Teaching Personality Aptitude and DISC behavior type of pre-preschool teachers. The subjects were 110 pre-preschool teachers attended in D university located in Kyonggido. 'NCS basic vocational competencies scale', 'Teaching Personality and Aptitude scale', and 'DISC behavior type scale' were used in the collection of data. It used Pearson's correlation Analysis to analyze the data. The results of this study are as follows; first, there was positive correlations between dominance trait and mathematical competency. And, there was positive correlations between interaction trait and self-development competency. And there were negative correlations between support traits and NCS basic vocational competencies. Second, it was revealed that positive correlations between almost sub scale's of NCS basic vocational competencies and teacher teaching personality aptitude. Third, there was positive correlations between dominance trait and sub scale of teaching personality aptitude(e.g.: problem solving/ inquiry skills, judgment, creativity/practical ability, leadership, knowledge/information ability, planning ability, sincerity/responsibility). And there were negative correlations between support traits and sub scale of teaching personality aptitude(e.g.: problem solving/ inquiry skills, judgment, creativity/practical ability, leadership, sincerity/responsibility).
