  • This paper aims to identify the class characteristics of tenants. To this end Patnaik's model is selected, because this model is most reasonable for sorting class structures of tenants. In his Model, "labor-exploitation criterion" is the main criterion for identifying class status. According to this criterion, there are five rural classes i.e. landlord, rich peasant, middle peasant, poor peasant, and full-time laborer. "Net labor ratio" is used for this purpose as empirical data handling. Net labor ratio is a ratio of net labor hired in to family labor, if hired in labor is more then this ratio is positive, and if hired out labor is more then the ratio is negative. Hired in and hired out labor includes not only direct labor but indirect labor such as labor employment or sales through rent. The results of this study are summarized as First, almost all tenants and owner cultivators are of the middle peasant class. Second, there are no rich peasant among the tenants, but 5% of owner cultivators are rich peasants, and 10% of tenants are poor peasants, owner cultivators are 1%. Third, the net: labor ratio of tenants is -0.211, and that of owners is 0.143. There are differences between tenants and owner cultivators even if land is much the same, and owner cultivators net labor ratio is positive except in the land size of 0.3-0.5ha, but that of the tenants' is negative. Fourth, proto-labor poor peasants earned 25% of income from labor, compared with under 10% of proto-tenant poor passant's. Rent to income ratio is almost 60% of proto-tenant, 27% of proto-labor among poor peasants.

  • This paper analyzes the changing factors of income inequality by approaches to income sources focusing on the effect of husband-wife labor income relation and employment ratio change on income inequality. The level of contribution of income source to income inequality showed that the inequality of labor income between husband and wife(especially the husband's income) takes great importance. Also, the covariance of labor income of husband and wife showed growing trend and changed toward the same direction. As a result of the decomposition of the labor income covariance, it was found that the change in husband-wife employment ratio explained the covariance change better than the change in labor income inequality.

  • We measured industrial labor income shares and investigated their determinants. Excluding industries where non-wage earners are not countable, we constructed 22 industry labor income shares from 1993 to 2015. Even though labor income shares in manufacturing industries declined more than in service industries, the economy-wide decline was not driven by structural changes but by within-industry effects. We found that rise in capital-labor ratio, R&D intensity, export dependence, and irregular job ratio contributed to the fall in labor income shares. When we examined manufacturing industries separately, overall results were about the same. But in that case we had additional findings that the rise in import dependence and outsourcing ratio lowered labor's shares, while minimum wage increases raised them.

  • Apartment Housing 25 in the field of construction since 2000 collected by types of labor: reinforced concrete, plaster, internal, equipment, electrics communication, the other work. And the performance of labor input was collected in the amount of construction work performed on a monthly basis. After changing the construction period in the standardization work that is 100% of the construction period, the amount was converted into labor ratio by type. Analysis of the input flow rate and the amount of labor conclusions were as follows: (1) The size of the labor rate is reinforced concrete work (38.25%), plastering work (5.10%), internal work (5.67%), equipment work (9.10%), electrics communication (8.76%), the other works (33.12%) and the size of labor rate is the largest work in reinforced concrete work. (2) The peak of labor input ratio was from 52.5% month to 62.5% month. This was when the labor rate of 3.6%. (3) The period month of the largest labor ratio% is 35% month by reinforced concrete construction, and this time it was 2.12% per month labor rate, and reinforced concrete construction is finishing from 65% month to 80% month. This showed the greatest congestion of mutual interference between each works is being continue. The results of this study are the greatest congestion in apartment housing construction has informed the high period(%months), which is essential to a successful project.

  • Labor share of income in Korea has fallen from 90% in 1996 to 79% in 2010. This paper explores the factors driving the movements in the labor share of income based on a panel dataset containing 19 years of data on 18 Korean manufacturing industries. The effects of technical progress, globalization and the bargaining power of labor and capital on the labor share of income are tested for the period of 1991-2009. The main empirical results are as follows. (1) Capital-aug menting technical prog ress measured by capital-labor ratio and R&D intensity has a negative effect on the labor share. (2) Market openness measured by the value of export and import as a ratio to value-added production is found to have a positive impact. (3) Globalization of production measured by inward-FDI and outward-FDI as a ratio to total domestic fixed capital is found to have a negative impact on the labor share. (4) Union density is found to have had a statistically significant effect in 1991-1998. This finding is consistent with the efficient bargain model in which firms and workers bargain over both wages and employment. But union density is insignificant in 2000-2009. This implies that since the financial crisis in 1997, the bargaining institution in Korea has been approaching the right-to-manage model in which firms and unions bargain over wages and then firms set employment unilaterally. (5) Variables for domestic financialization measured by dividend-income ratio and financial-fixed assets ratio have an insignificant effect on labor share.

  • The standard production unit system is the most basic element in our country construction. However, this standard production unit system shows a large difference in the actual amount of labor input for works at the Apartment housing construction, Therefore, it may be a reasonable alternative to estimate the cost of construction by historical cost data, works will be calculated the cost of labor must determine the exact amount and It is necessary to determine the exact amount of labor input for the construction progress management. This study examines the results of comparing the standard production unit system and the actual amount of labor counting in apartment housing construction was completed in the metropolitan area since 2000, the following results were obtained. the actual amount of labor input are looked for 1.184person/1000 of masonary, $0.084persons/m^2$ of plaster, $0.039persons/m^2$ of Waterproofing, $0.059persons/m^2$ of tile at the Apartment housing construction. in the actual amount of labor counting Compared with standard production unit system, masonry ratio of 59.8%, plaster ratio of 41.3%, waterproofing ratio of 31.5%, tile ratio of 34.3% and The labor rate in the works was the lowest in the plaster. was relatively high in the masonary. Therefore, the amount of labor country apartment housing construction is preferably calculated on historical cost data. But it seems that the amount of labor necessary complement ongoing close enough to the actual standard production unit system a major variable in construction management.

  • The present study evaluated the accuracy of MSD-related work criterion of Korea Ministry of Labor by using ergonomic workload evaluation methods. 1,948 manufacturing works in automobile industry were divided into 1,286 MSD-related risky works and 662 risk-free ones by using RULA, ANSI Z-365 and perceived discomfort evaluation. Then, the two types of works were evaluated by Labor Ministry work criterion to analyze the classification accuracy of the work criterion. The work criterion of Korea Labor Ministry had low hit and false alarm ratio(20 and 11%) and high miss and correct rejection ratio(80 and 89%), and the odd ratios of hit and correct rejection were 0.2 and 8.3, respectively. It can be concluded that the work criterion of Korea Labor Ministry is a conservative evaluation method which tends to evaluate a target work as risk-free.

  • The productivity of port labor in Pusan port is very low and the ratio of port accident is high in comparision with other advanced foreign ports. The aim of this paper is to find why the productivity in Pusan port is much lower than that of other countries in terms of port labor education systems. To obtain the objective of this study, the writers used 163 questionnaire for port labor in BCTOC, PECT and UTC for the survey of training method of cargo equipment handling. The result of this study shows as follows; (1) From the fact that ratio of labor who were trained by KPTI was 2.5%, we could say the public training system of port labor is not operated properly (2) As most of laborers are trained by the experienced associate, they do not recognize how the level of cargo handling equipment is set to increase the productivity. (3) In order that the port public training system plays a good role in port industry, a new license system should be introduced and an expert education system should be developed.

  • The productivity and 13 influencing variables in 14 conventional hospital foodservice systems the total direct and non-direct labor hours required to produce and serve the total number of patient meals plus the number of cafeteria meals. Human resource variable significantly influencing the productivity level was the labor cost. As this index decreased, the meals served per human hour worked increased. System resource variables correlating significantly with productivity were the length of cycle menu, the ratio of staff meals, and modified patient meal ratio. As the length of cycle menu and the ratio of modified patient meal decreased, more meals were produced per human hour. However, as staff meal ratio increased, the meals served per human hour worked increased. The stepwise regression analysis suggests that around 53% of the variance in productivity is explained by labor cost.
