메로시아닌 색소 LB막의 온도영향에 의한 수정진동자 거동특성조사 (The Investigation on Merocyanine Dye of Thermal Behavior Using QCM)

  • In this study, we investigate the deposition characteristics of merocyanine dye(MD) Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) film using quartz crystal microbalance (QCM). The MD optical system mixed with fatty acid was fabricated using LB method. And their optical characteristics were investigated using UV spectroscopy. The optical behavior of MD LB film was investigated asto thermal treatment. The resonant frequency and admittance was measured during dissociation of J-aggregate of MD LB film. As a result, it has been suggested that the J-aggregate dissociation in MD LB film by thermal treatment give rise to transformation of oscillation characteristics of quartz crystal.

LB법으로 제작한 Arachidic Acid 다층막의 누적전이와 전기특성 (Deposition Transfer and Electrical Properties of Arachidic Acid Multilayer Manufacture by LB Method)

  • We give pressure stimulation into organic thin films and then manufacture a device under the accumulation condition that the state surface pressure is 30[mN/m]. LB layers of Arac. acid deposited by LB method were deposited onto slide glass as Y-type film. The physicochemical properties of the LB films were examined by UV absorption spectrum, SEM and AFM. The structure of manufactured device is Au/arachidic acid/Al. the number of accumulated layers are 3~9. Also. we then examined of the MIM device by means of I-V. The I-V characteristic of the device is measured from -3 to +3[V]. The insulation property of a thin film is better as the distance between electrodes is larger.

Polyimide LB막의 전기적 특성 (The electrical properties of Polyimide Langmuir-Blodgett Film)

  • This paper describes the imidization of PAAS(polyamic acid alkylamine salts) Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films and the electrical properties of PAAS and polyimide(PI) LB films, The imidization conditons were investigated by TGA(Thermal Gravi-tational Analysis). FT-IR and UV/ visible absorption spectra. A thermal imidiczation was peformed at 300$^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. The electrical properties of the PAAS and polymide LB films were measured by current-voltate(L-V) characteristics It shows that the electrical condcutivity of PL LB films is about 10 $\^$-15/S/cm which is two orders of magnetiude lower than that of the PAAS LB films A Schottky effect was also observed in both films.

  • Langmuir-Boldgett(LB)법에 의해서 두께 1층당 약 4.angs.의 폴리이미드 LB막을 제작된 폴리이미드 LB막을 양전극사이에 sandwich시킨 Al/Al$_{2}$ $O_{3}$ /폴리이미드 LB막/Al(Au)구조의 소자를 이용하여 전기적 특성을 조사하였다. 전기저항이 대단히 큰 폴리이미드 LB막과 전기저항이 작은 $Al_{2}$ $O_{3}$막과의 상호작용에 의해 폴리이미드 LB막의 파괴전계는 약 1*$10^{8}$V/cm이었으며 터널전류는 이론값에 비하여 매우 작은 전류의 값을 나타내었다. 이와같은 현상은 전압의 대부분이 폴리이미드 LB막에 만이 인가되며 터널전류는 $Al_{2}$ $O_{3}$막에 의해 제한되기 때문이다.

  • In this paper, we study the electrical conduction mechanism in Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) ultra thin films. The LB device was a metal/LB films/metal sandwich structure, where metal is electrode. In our experiments, the temperature depend on the current at above $0^{\circ}C$. This phenomena show that the electrical conduction current is a schottky current inherent to LB ultra thin films.

  • The LB technique is one of the most, powerful fabricating methods of organic ultra thin film, which deposits a monolayer film in molecular level onto the surface of the substrate. In order to fabricate the LB film with optimal condition, we have to deposite monolayer film at optimum depositing pressure. which is dependent on the kind of deposit materials. ${\pi}-A$ curve is one of the most important, criteria to determine the optimum pressure. In this paper, we obtained that the optimum pressure is $20{\sim}50(mN/m)$ from ${\pi}-A$ curve of the stearic acid. In our experiments, it was known that LB ultra thin film is deposited beat at 30(mN/m) by checking the characteristics of LB film.

지방산과 인지질의 혼합 단분자 LB막의 혼합비에 따른 광이성질화에 관한 연구 (Photoisomerization LB Monolayer Films Mixed with Fatty Acid and Phospholipid at Difference Mixture Ratio)

  • We have investgated UV-Vis absorbance to observe the photoisomerization using the mixture solutions in chloroform and LB monolayers mixed with DLPE and 8A5H containing azobenzene which showed reversible cis-trans photoisomerization irradiated by alternate lights. We have found that the absorbance spectrums of the mixture solutions and LB monolayers were reversibly induced to cis-trans photoisomerization irradiated by alternate lights. In addition, the absorbance of both solution and LB monolayer mixed with 8A5H and DLPE were reversibly by alternate temperatures. As a results, the 1:1(by volume) mixture ratio of 8A5H and DLPE was more flexible and reversible cis-trans photoisomerization than the others.

  • The electrical characteristics of Stearic acid LB films were investigated to develop the gas sensor using Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) films. The deposition status of LB films were verified by the measurements of UV absorbance and I-V characteristics. The conductivity of Stearic acid LB films at room temperature was $10^{-8}[S/cm]$, which is typical of semiconductor. The conductivity was found to increase as the temperature was increased. The acitivation energy was about 1[eV].

  • We reported the fabrication and thermal cross-linking of the LB files on porous substrates. The monolayers of the polymers which polyion-conplexed with PAA at the air-water interface can be transferred onto solid substrates such as porous fluorocarbon membrane filter and quartz crystal microbalance. The properties of the monolayers and the LB films investigated by $\pi$-A isothem, FT-IR, and SEM will be discussed. In addition, it was attempted to investigate the reaction of polymer LB films in the organic gas surrounding by the use of LB technique.

  • We had experiment using LB method that can fabricate molecular order ultra-thin film below 100${\AA}$. LB mettled has known as main technology of information society in 21C, because it is nut only free oriention and alignment of molecular but also ability of thickness control as molecular order. In this paper, the fabricated condition and physical properities of functional ultra-thin film of molecular order was investigated and highly efficient ultra-thin film capacitor was fabricated by using ultra-thin LB film for application as electronic device. Possibility of ultra-thin film capacitor was researched by analizing rind measuring electrical properties. Polyimide ultra-thin LB film capacitor was fabricated, ensured theoretically rind experimentally its possibility in range of 10Hz∼ 1MHz through its frequency characteristics.
