해양플랜트산업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 조선기자재산업 고도화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Accelerating Marine Equipments Industry for Enforcing Competitiveness of the Offshore Plants Industry)

  • This study attempted an AHP analysis through interview with experts in the industries and questionnaire survey on recognition of organization members and future strategic development direction in order to upgrade shipbuilding equipment industries to marine plant equipment industries. Key research results are as follows. First, according to analysis on relative priority between three aspects on acceleration of shipbuilding equipment industries, importance was shown in the order of acceleration of internal competence, acceleration of manufacturing technology, and acceleration of supply chain, which means that the aspect on acceleration of internal competence had relatively higher importance. Second, as for relative importance of detailed item evaluation per respective aspect, it was found that development of core competencies was high from the aspect on acceleration of internal competence, higher value-addition was high from the aspect on acceleration of manufacturing technology, and IT infrastructure construction was high from the aspect on acceleration of supply chain.

조선업에서 사무직과 생산직 근로자의 직무스트레스 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Assessment of Stress at Work between White and Blue Collar Workers in Shipyard)

  • In recent years, Korea's shipbuilding industry have expanded its business into offshore plant. These changes are increasing the interest on job stress in shipbuilding industry. The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of job stressors between white and blue-collar workers. The survey was using Korean Occupational Stress Scale(KOSS) questionnaire and was administered to 8,080 workers of large shipyard company. As a result of the survey, compared with the median score of Korean workers, job stress level of shipyard company workers was low. However, seven categories of KOSS, except for job demand showed higher stress levels of blue-collar workers than white-collar workers. The overall stress level of shipyard company workers is low, however, it is important to find stressors by considering the type of work, working period etc., through a detailed analysis of KOSS 8-categories. The results of this study may be helpful to identify the level of stress and to establish preventive measures in Shipyard Company.

  • Recently, Korean shipbuilding industry is keeping up the position of world wide No. 1 in world shipbuilding market share. It is caused by endless efforts to develope new technologies and methods and fast development of IT technologies in Korea, to raise up its productivities and efficiency in shipbuilding industry with many kinds of optimizing methods including genetic algorithm or artificial life algorithm... etc. In this paper, we have suggested the artificial life algorithm with relay search micro genetic algorithm. and we have improved a defect of simple genetic algorithm for its slow convergence speed and added a variety of solution candidates with applying relay search simple genetic algorithm. Finally, we have developed intelligent agent system for ship CAE modeling. We have tried to offer some conveniences a ship engineer for repeated ship CAE modeling by changing ship design repeatedly and to increase its accuracy of a ship model with it.

직무스트레스 관리를 통한 조선업 현장관리자의 작업능력 향상 방안에 관한 연구 (A Plan for Improving Shipbuilding Industry Foreman's Work Ability by Managing the Job Stress)

  • Recently, personal characteristics of organizational members arc regarded as an important factor that affects performance of organization. In addition, job stress is attributed to one of main factors that result in poor work ability and high turnover rate. In this study, job stress, work ability and DISC personality types were surveyed targeting 292 of foreman in shipbuilding company. The relationships between job stress and personal characteristics including personality types and correlation between job stress and work ability were analyzed based on the result of survey. As a result of statistical analysis, there were six statistically significant relationships between job stress and age, job tenure, work type, hobbies, exercise, personality types. On the other hand, there was a statistically significant relationship between work ability and exercise. Furthermore, negative correlation between job stress and work ability were found. In accordance with these analysis, this study presented how to improve work ability by managing job stress items and personal characteristics that affect the stress and the stress level.

조선소 WPS/PQR 관리 DB시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing Database System for Management of WPS/PQR in Shipyard)

  • WPS/PQR is the essential documents for shipbuilding welding. WPS is the document containing the information related to welding procedure and PQR is the record of approval for welding procedure. Both documents should be approved by the ship owners and the classification societies. It is very important to manage these documents because the welding procedure using these documents could not be carried out before they are approved. Database is an useful tool to manage these documents. It can manage a number of documents and show the processing status of WPS/PQR documents. In this study, all documents related to WPS/PQR documents were investigated and analyzed in the viewpoint of DB. An appropriate DB system was designed for WPS/PQR and the related documents on the basis of CBD methodology. The DB system could make WPS/PQR documents easily and shortly. The grasp of the processing status of WPS/ PQR could help the good management of fabrication schedule in shipbuilding.

영국 조선산업의 고용조정(1860~1945): 보일러제조공조합을 중심으로 (Employment Adjustment in the British Shipbuilding Industry(1860~1945) - Focusing on the Case of the Boilermakers' Society)

  • 19세기 영국 조선산업은 세계시장을 지배했지만 호황과 불황에 따라 실업의 등락이 되풀이되었다. 보일러제조공조합은 고용주의 자유로운 해고권한에 도전하지 않았으며, 수정빈민법 체제의 굴레에 빠지지 않기 위해서 자체 실업보험을 운영했다. 조합 자체의 실업보험은 1911년 실업보험법이 실시될 때는 유지되었지만, 1920년대의 대량실업과 고용주들의 공격을 견디지 못하고 파산했다. 1911년 실업보험법은 직종별 노동조합의 경계를 넘어서서 위험을 분산시키고, 미숙련공과 비조합원에게도 실업보험을 적용했다는 점에서, 그리고 고용주와 국가도 보험료를 부담했다는 점에서 사회-연대적인 특성이 강화된 것으로 평가할 수 있다. 대공황기에 노동조합은 정부가 선박시장에 개입하여 일자리를 제공해줄 것을 요구했지만 이는 받아들여 지지 않았다. 정부는 실업수당 수급자격과 기간 등에 관해서 보험원리를 포기한 편법적 운영을 통해서 노동조합운동이 제기한 또 다른 요구인 생계비 요구에 부분적으로 대처할 수 있었다. 결국 조선산업의 실업은 재군비 확대와 2차 대전의 발발로 해소되었다. 19세기부터 2차 대전에 이르기까지 노동조합은 고용주의 해고 권한에 대해 도전하지 않았고, 해고절차를 규제하거나 해고에 대한 보상을 요구하려고 하지 않았다. 전간기에도 영국에는 취약한 고용보호와 관련된 규칙과 관행들 - 이는 자유주의적 고용조정제도의 주요 특징이다 - 이 널리 퍼져 있었다. 실업보험의 운영이 사회갈등의 초점이 되었고, 결국 1, 2차 대전과 같은 역사적 격변을 거치면서도 고용주의 자유로운 해고권한이라는 원칙은 유지될 수 있었다.

해양레저장비 산업 용어 표준화 방안 연구 (A Study on the Standardization of Marine Leisure Equipment Industry Terminology)

  • 조선해양 관련 산업에서는 아직 일본식 및 한자식 조선용어, 외래어가 자리 잡아 일상적으로 사용되고 있다. 대표적인 예로 고박(固縛, こばく), 취부(取付, とりつ), 반생(番線, ばんせん) 등이다. 용어의 정의는 국가 표준 및 관련 법령의 기본이며, 특히 국내 해양레저 관련 산업의 경쟁력 향상을 위하여 필수적이다. 이에 일부 혼용 중인 해양레저장비 관련 선체, 의장품, 범장 등과 관련하여 영문 명칭, 외래어 사용시 표기법, 권장 한국어 등으로 구분하여 표준화 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
