The purpose of this study is to provide suggestion for the establishment of a living information environment for a family-friendly living environment. The survey data on a sample of three hundred and eighty-four married respondents with at least one child in elementary school that were collected for 15 days from April 16 to April 30 of 2010 were analyzed. The results are as follows: It is important to establish a family-friendly living information environment as one of the important elements for a family-friendly living environment. Two aspects ought to be considered in establishing a family-friendly living information environment. One is the supply aspect of the family-friendly living information: this encompasses the usage of facilities in the community, the residents in the community as leaders and the user-friendly living information. The other is the user aspect of the living information, which involves the education on living information for the residents in the community.

To investigate the actual conditions on the living environment of group homes for the elderly and their living environment, 4 group homes were surveyed. As the results, while the living environment of the group home was entirely satisfied, the safety for criminal prevention, accessability and convenient facilities were not satisfied in addition to relatively narrow living room. Space safety for elderly people was not sufficiently taken into consideration in physical environment.

The aim of this study is to analyze the improvement of housing renewal project and suggest the conditions of rural housing environment filled with the resident's desire, requirements concerning about characteristics of a rural environment and temporal and social requirements. The project for improvement of rural housing environment has been executed in a few ways: reform of the rural housing environment and the development of territories for settlement of a desolate region. To analyze and assess the accomplishments, we considered codes and process related to the project for improvement of rural housing environment and analyzed present conditions and problems through many reference books and administrative data. According to these results, devices in future business for improvement of rural housing environment are as follows; It should required a rational allocation of working space, living space, cultural activity space suitable for rural area characteristics and changed into uniformed system in various projects governed by different institutions.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of family-friendly life environment factors including local community's living environment satisfaction (safety, convenience, comfort, accessibility, exchange of neighbor satisfaction), family support facility satisfaction, family support program satisfaction and nurture and education environment satisfaction, and local community's living information accessibility on the effect of multiple roles of married men and women with children. Data were collected from 380 married men and women with children located Seoul, GyeongGi-Do, ChungCheongBuk-Do, and KyungSangNam-Do. The results show that, first of all, related to general trend of role satisfaction and role strain, the subjects have higher experience of role satisfaction than role strain. Secondly, the variables of social demography, such as monthly income, non-regular full-time working system, white collar occupation, number of children and level of education, and living environment variables, such as satisfaction of living environment stability and satisfaction of neighbor exchange in living environment were significantly related to role strain. Thirdly, social demography variables, such as average monthly earnings, gender (male), non-regular part-time working system, satisfaction of stability in living environment, and satisfaction of convenience in living environment were significantly related to role strain.

This study aims at examining the actual conditions of lighting environment and the consciousness and responses of residents with the living room of apartment house, grasping the problems of existing lighting methods, offering the lighting environment design standard in harmony with the various demands of residents, functions of living room space, life in living room and interior decoration and then pursuing the comfortable living environment. As the scope and methods of research for these, existing research methods are examined through the consideration of preceding researches and the basic outline of this research is constructed. Questionnaire survey is conducted with six apartment complexes including Kumho district, Munhung district, Sangmu district, Unnam district, Ilkok district and Chumdan district, the problems and improvements of lighting environment conditions are examined, conception and selection of lighting equipment design image are made, lighting equipment design of living room is suggested and the expected effects of lighting equipment ordering method are arranged as follows. As a result of examining and analyzing the lighting environment of living room in existing apartment houses, it is known that the conditions of existing lighting environment considered uniform lighting plan for functional sides of each room which didn't consider the various living behaviors and preference of residents and while the degree of interior decoration design is actually positive. Accordingly it seems that the lighting equipment ordering which considers the various preferences of residents is applied as the means for comfortable lighting environment, the interior environmental mood will be greatly improved.

The unsatisfactory things were the service related to medical, leisure, and house work and an invasion of their private life. The resident elderly in group homes were fully satisfied with their living environment including the relationship with the manager and the people in the facility. They, however, do not have much chance to make an exchange with their neighbor. Overall, the elderly want to stay continuously in the group homes where they are living current.

The Primary Purpose of this study is to evaluate transportation conditions (including parking space shortage problem) of the old single house district and to derive some policy implications for living environment improvement policy. For these purposes, data were collected from field survey and questionaire survey. The main findings are follows. Residents are discontent about building structure, old house, high risk of traffic accident in the housing district and parking space shortage. The living environment of the old single house district is further degraded by mix of commercial and business functions in the residential area. Based on these findings, we suggest that the introduction of resident-first parking zones, restriction of use of facilities with more detail division of use than current zoning system for improvement of living environment.

Sugok Villiage. of the prospective flooded villiages for building Im Ha Dam, is selected as the studied place. Primarily, the purpose of this study is invested, recerded about traditional living environment, and then searched to find out possibilites on the context of the inheritance of analyzing about life contents and space. The result of this study are as follows:1) In composition of living environment, thinking view on confucianism and living view on folk beliefs are considered as important element2) Hierarchy of life environment is appeared of above and below space.(focused on JONG KA) and inner and outer space(boarded on pine forest) on the other hand according to living territory life environment can be divided into five territories.3) Confucian ideas, social status, folk beliefs and economics has been affected about formation of individual life. Accordingly, I believe that true inheritance of traditional culture was, through preserving mental contents as well as physical contents, possible.

To investigate the actual conditions on the living environment of group-homes for the elderly and their living environment, 4 group-homes were surveyed. As the results, conditions of location for the group-home of the elderly looked positive, on the other hand, safety for criminal prevention, accessability and convenient facilities were not on level satisfied. The average area of each space in the group-home indicated that the bed room was $11.21\;m^2$, the living room $28.13\;m^2$, the kitchen $23.59\;m^2$, and the bath room had an integrated type of bath room and toilet $7.63\;m^2$. The physical environments of each space in the group-home were investigated, In bed room, door, windows and illumination were relatively good but safety was extremely inferior. Living room mostly looked good except the doorsill which needs refurbishment. In kitchen, cooking table, windows, illumination, ventilator were somewhat satisfactory but gas-warning device should have been installed. In addition, in bath room and toilet, location, door, window, illumination and finished material were satisfactory. But the stepped difference between the bath room and other space, safety-bar, emergency bell and floor heating system were seriously deteriorated and must be improved for the safety of the elderly. Conclusively, living environment of group-home for the elderly is mainly satisfactory but it was necessary to take a consideration for their safety.
