지역문화 축제의 서비스 품질과 고객충성도에 관한 연구 (A study on the service quality and customer loyalty in regional cultural festival)

  • 본 연구는 지역축제인 전주국제영화제를 대상으로 지역축제의 서비스 품질과 고객충성도인 재방문과 구전효과간의 관계를 분석하였다. 영화제 서비스 품질 만족도는 종합적 만족도에 유의한 결과를 나타내고 있다. 영화제 서비스 품질 결정 요인인 시설편의성, 기념품, 프로그램, 홍보 안내 및 접근성 모두가 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 보였으며, 고객 충성도인 재방문과 구전 홍보에서도 유의한 결과를 보였다. 서비스 품질의 전체만족도와 충성도간에는 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 추정되었다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how the operating system quality of Cheongwon Organic Festival, a local festival held in Cheongju, affects visitor satisfaction, and to also revitalize the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival through this study. 344 visitors of the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival were recruited to become participants of this study using a random sampling method. There were significant differences in the evaluation of the operating system quality at the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival depending on the visitors' gender, age, education, household income, acquisition of information, purpose of visit, considerations of the purchase of festival goods, purchase of a pre-sales ticket, and residence.Different factors such as the visitors' gender, age, education, household income, acquisition of information, purpose of visit, considerations while purchasing festival goods, and residence impacted the visitors' satisfaction of their visit to the Cheongwon Organic Life Festival. It was found that there was a correlation between the operating system quality at Cheongwon Organic Life Festival and the visitors' satisfaction. The operating system quality as a whole and the event programming showed the highest correlation with the visitors' satisfaction.

민.관의 활동에서 본 쓰시마시의 지역 활성화 정책: 아리랑 축제를 사례로 (The Regional Development Strategy by Public-Private Activities: A Case Study of the Tsushima Arirang Festival, Tsushima, Nagasaki Province, Japan)

  • 본 연구에서는 쓰시마시의 아리랑 축제를 사례로, 쓰시마시는 어떠한 과정을 거천 아리랑 축제를 한국인을 겨냥한 장소마케팅의 수단으로 이용해 왔는지, 아리랑 축제의 역사를 통한 민과 관의 활동에 착안하여 고찰하였다. 쓰시마시는 기존의 축제에 조선통신사 행렬과 아리랑 축제의 타이틀을 추가함으로써, 한국인 관광객을 유치하려고 노력하여 왔으나, 독도문제 등으로 인한 일부 주민들의 항의에 부딪혔다. 이에 시는 협의회를 거쳐, 지역 활성화를 위해 축제를 중지할 필요는 없지만, 2007년부터는 아리랑 축제를 서브타이틀로 사용할 것에 합의하였다. 이처럼 지역주민들은 때로는 아리랑 축제의 개최를 둘러싸고 관과 첨예하게 의견대립을 보이는 경우도 있었지만, 한편으로 그들은 축제의 운영에서 프로그램의 공연에 이르기까지 적극적으로 참가하고 있어, 쓰시마시의 아리랑 축제는 지역주민의 아이덴티티에 기초한 그들의 축제이면서 동시에 장소마케팅의 수단으로 이용되고 있음을 알 수 있고, 그 과정은 민과 관이 함께 만들어 가는 지역 만들기의 과정이라고 할 수 있다.

  • 과거 10여년 동안 한국의 지역축제는 양적, 질적으로 급성장해 왔다. 그리고 축제를 기획하는 전문가와 연구자들에 의해 지역축제의 문제점 또한 많이 지적되어 왔다. 하지만, 선행연구들 대부분은 한 시점에 근거한 문제점 제시에 그치고 있다. 한편, 최우수 문화관광축제들은 대부분 10년 이상의 역사적 과정 속에서의 시행착오를 통해 정착단계를 맞이하고 있다. 그만큼 과정을 이해하는 것이 근본적인 문제점을 해결해 나가는데 중요하다. 본 연구는 나주 영산강문화축제를 사례로 지역의 대표축제로서의 정착화 과정에서의 축제 콘텐츠 변화양상을 시계열적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 가장 큰 문제점은 광범위한 주제설정으로 인한 축제소재의 불명확성이 축제의 정체성 상실로 이어지고 있다는 점이다.

Analysis of Festival Ordinances of Gyeonggi Province: Focusing on Developing A Representative Festival of Seongnam City

  • Purpose: In Seongnam City, a number of festivals are held in various areas, led by the city and private organizations. The necessity of developing a representative festival of Seongnam City, which can enhance the brand value of Seongnam, a cultural city, and promote a sense of local community and economic effects, is emerging. The purpose of this study is to analyze festival-related ordinances of Gyeonggi-do local governments, and to derive implications necessary for the development of festival support ordinances representing Seongnam City. Research design, data, and methodology: This study used the database of National Legal Information Center of the Ministry of Legislation and the autonomous legal information system to thoroughly investigate the ordinances related to festival support of basic local governments in Gyeonggi-do and the whole country. To do this, descriptive statistics analysis was conducted. Results: As a result of the study, it was found that 168 organizations (68.6%) of 245 local governments nationwide have adopted the festival support ordinance, and there are a total of 231 ordinances. In the case of basic organizations, out of 228 basic organizations, 151 organizations, including Seongnam City, adopted the ordinance on festival support, showing an adoption rate of about 66%. As a result of analyzing the basic organizations that enacted representative festival related ordinances among Gyeonggi-do basic organizations, 9 out of 28 cities adopted 16 representative festival ordinances, based on the legal and institutional basis for supporting representative festivals. Conclusions: In the case of Seongnam City, it is believed that in order to develop a representative festival, an ordinance to support the representative festival must be established. Considerations regarding the composition of the ordinance for the representative festival were discussed.

축제참가자의 지역축제 의의에 대한 인식과 평가에 관한 연구 - 안동국제탈춤페스티벌을 대상으로 - (A Study of Assessment and Awareness by Local Festival Participants' to the Significance of Local Festival : Case Study of Andong International Mask Dance Festival)

  • "안동국제탈춤페스티벌2011"을 대상으로 축제참가자의 지역축제 의의에 대한 인식과 평가에 관해 연구 하였다. 연구결과는 먼저, 안동국제탈춤페스티벌에 참가한 축제참가자들의 인구학적 특성은 대졸학력의 20~40대 연령층과 가족단위의 방문객이 주를 이루었으며, 외지인과 지역주민 간의 인구학적 특성의 차이는 거의 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 지역축제 특성에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위해 실시한 설문조사 결과, 지역축제가 지역문화자원 활용정도와 지역축제의 주제 반영정도에 대하여 두 집단 모두 긍정적으로 응답하였다. 주제의 반영정도는 지역주민들의 사례축제에 대한 긍정적인 인식이 보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지역축제의 의의는 지역주민 화합, 지역 경제활성화 그리고 지역 홍보 및 지역 이미지 제고이다. 여기서 지역주민과 외지인들은 지역 홍보 및 이미지 제고를 가장 긍정적으로 인식한데 비해 지역주민 화합에는 다른 설문항목에 비하여 긍정적인 인식이 낮았다. 따라서, 사례축제가 보다 지역사회에 깊게 뿌리내림 하기 위해서는 축제를 통한 지역주민들의 문화적인 삶의 질을 향상시키고 주민들의 적극적인 참여를 보다 유도할 필요성이 있다. 그에 대한 개선방안으로 지역주민들을 위한 프로그램마련과 축제의 기획, 집행, 평가 과정에서 지역주민들의 참여가 가능한 다양한 창구를 마련하여 지역주민들의 참여를 확대할 것을 제시한다.

우리나라 명절음식의 인지도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Knowledge on the Korean Festival Foods)

  • This study was surveyed to know Korean festival foods. 1. 62.97% of the students had high level of interest in festival foods, but that was not significantly different by sex and major. 2. The percentage of which they knew about festival foods 92.7% in Seolnal (New Year's day), 89.6% in Chongwol Daeboreum (the 15th of January), 82.0% in Sambok (the period of summer hot day), 74.7% in Chuseok (Korea thanks giving day), 43.3% in Hansik (the day which eat cold foods), and less than 30ft in the other festival day. 3. The festival day which are celebrated was Seolnal, Chuseok, and Chongwol Daeboreum in the order, and Dongii was a lower percentage than the other previous studies. 4. The festival day which they had to succeed was Seolnal, Chuseok, Chongwol Daeboreum, and Dongii in the order of the higher ratio.

생태축제의 생태친화적 효과에 관한 비교 연구: 함평나비축제와 무주반딧불축제를 사례로 (A Comparative Study on the Ecology-Friendly Effects of Eco-Festivals: A Case Study of Ham-Pyung Butterfly Festival and Mu-Ju Firefly Festival)

  • This study makes an attempt to appraise how much successful both (Ham-Pyung) Butterfly Festival and (Mu-Ju) Firefly Festival are in the view point of ecology-friendly effects, and based on this appraisal, searches for desirable and developmental directions of other eco-festivals. The empirical analysis of the study shows that even if the Butterfly Festival turns out to be more famous than the Firefly Festival, the latter is confirmed to be more eco-friendly than the former. The fact that the latter is more eco-friendly seems to be due to the fact that the subject matter, that is the theme, of the festival is the fireflies which are not only natural monuments but also peculiar in-site-resources specific to Mu-Ju. This fact suggests that the other eco-festivals, newly emerging ones in particular, need to find and designate in-site-resources inherent in their regions as the theme, as far as possible.

무창포 주꾸미·도다리 축제 관광객의 소비지출 결정요인 (Determinant of Tourist Expenditures for Muchangpo Webfoot Octopus and Finespotted Flounder Festival)

  • This study is to investigate the determinants of consumption expenditure by considering potential expenditure factors such as socioeconomic, fishing village tourism behavior, motivation for visits, and optional attributes of tourists at Muchangpo webfoot octopus and finespotted flounder festival in Boryeong. The analysis data are 300 questionnaires of visitors to the festival during the 2018 Muchangpo Mysterious Sea Road Webfoot Octopus and Finespotted Flounder Festival from March 17 to April 8, 2018. As a result of analyzing the factors of consumption expenditure of tourists to the festival in Boryeong, socioeconomic factors such as gender and residential groups outside Chungcheong-do have a positive (+) effect on consumption expenditure. Among the factors of fishing village tourism behavior, the only number of days of stay more than one night has a positive (+) effect on consumption expenditure. In addition, in the analysis of factors for motivation to visit the festival, fun/interest and simple rest/leisure have a significant positive (+) effect on expenditure whereas stress relief have a negative (-) effect on expenditure. In the analysis of the factors of festival selection attributes, tourism facilities has a significant positive (+) effect on expenditure, but natural scenery and excellent natural scenery show a significant negative (-) effect on expenditure. The main implications that can be obtained from the results of this study are as follows. First, it suggests that the promotion should be actively conducted outside of Chungcheong Province in order to achieve the original purpose of revitalizing the local economy from the Muchangpo webfoot octopus and finespotted flounder festival. Second, it indicates that there should be a variety of unique high-quality festival programs differentiated from other local festivals, promoting the existence of simple rest/leisure facilities rather than webfoot octopus boat fishing experiences or natural scenery (i.e., mysterious road and sunset) in order to attract festival tourists' spending at the Muchangpo webfoot octopus and finespotted flounder festival.

몽산포 어촌관광 축제의 경제적 효과 (Economic Effect of Mongsanpo Fishing Village Tourism Festival)

  • This study attempted to estimate the amount of expenditure per capita of visitors to the Mongsanpo fishing village tourism festival, and quantitatively measure how much the festival contributes to the local and national economy through input-output model. The analysis data used 302 questionnaires, excluding missing questionnaires, surveyed on festival visitors from April 21 to May 7, 2018, during the 9th Mongsanpo port webfoot octopus and seafood festival. The main results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, analyzing the average expenditure per person of festival visitors, it shows that the average one-person festival visitor consumes KRW 129,519: entertainment costs KRW 5,672 (4.4%), accommodation costs KRW 16,860 (13.0%), food costs KRW 74,791 (57.7%), transportation costs KRW 21,646 (16.7%), shopping costs KRW 6,788 (5.2%), and other costs KRW 3,762 (2.9%). Among the expenditures of festival visitors, the proportion of food expenses was the highest, and transportation costs and accommodation costs were in order. Second, based on the actual expenses spent by visitors at the fishing village tourism festival, the direct economic effect of the Mongsanpo fishing village festival was estimated be approximately KRW 14.8 billion. Third, as a direct and indirect economic impact effect of the Mongsanpo fishing village tourism festival in 2018, the amount of production induced in the local and national economies was estimated at KRW 33.3 billion, and the amount of value-added inducement was estimated at 11.3 billion won, and employment inducement reached 272 people, which is considered to contribute greatly to the national economy. This study quantitatively analyzes and provides the extent to which the fishing village tourism festival using local specialized fisheries directly or indirectly contribute to the local and national economy. Thus, it is expected to serve as useful information by providing basic information on business feasibility required for budgeting for local fishing tourism festivals.
